Robin Unger
Discovery Channel's DVD " Murder in Dealey Plaza " featuring Gary Mack puts Nix location here. GRAPHIC REMOVED. Incorrect Location fpr Nix. Chris Davidson was kind enough to have sent me a copy of this DVD about 2-years ago. This DVD is the scource for ALL the "high resolution frames" which appear in my gallery relating to the following films. Towner, Hughes, Dorman, Nix, Muchmore, weigman. John Dolva You really need to get this DVD I have seen some of the fabulous work you can do, and with better resolution Nix & Muchmore Frames, i know the results could be outstanding. My grattitude to Chris Davidson. It's because of his generousity that i was able to get the results i have. Robin Unger
Jack / Jerry I beleive this mans " beret style hat" shown in Muchmore to be the shape seen in the bottom half of the Nix Frames. The man wearing the beret obviously has no respect for people taking films, he walks right in front of Marie Muchmore's camera while she was filming. He then shows no respect for Orvil Nix, by parking his BIG HEAD right in front of his camera. Edited February 6, 2010 by Robin Unger

Why would Nix position himself behind this person instead of beside him? How tall is the person in the beret, and where is he seen in other photos? and it the gray object is a beret, what is this metallic object on top of the beret? Inquiring minds want to know. Robin Unger
This is the same frame as the one you posted Jack. ( No Artifact ) Also, as i understand it NIX was approx 6ft 4" tall according to Gary Mack. Edited February 6, 2010 by Robin Unger
Jerry Logan
I think you are right, Jerry. Drommer is afaik as accurate as West http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c168/yan...P_ss_HSCA-1.jpg Thanks John, I appreciate your help. As I'm looking at the photos something has got me puzzled and I want to be sure. Notice the relationship between the garage divider and the left (north) side of the no parking sign. Muchmore is obviously further north by a wide margin. However, am I correct that the following two photos establish Altgens further north than Nix? Am I missing anything? John Dolva
Robin, thank you, yes, I agree, the DVD would be helpful. I'll see what I can do. Jerry, it seems to me that the distance, the elevation, (the panning blur of course, which makes things a bit difficult), and most notably, as you point out, the gap, plus the narrowing of some Nix objects and widening of others, places Altgens somewhere north north west of Nix. Altgens is sharp enough to use the plat (linked to) to locate Altgens I think. For Nix, there will be a greater error margin because of resolution, blur, so I'd use a couple of frames not too far apart to establish that. afa Muchmore goes, I think thats a typo, unless you mean her location on the plat. She, imo (based on perspective and parallax discrepancies), started filming roughly where indicated then moved quickly back left to the pedestal to (presumably) use it to stabilise the camera. Here's a rotated resized Nix with the Altgens (cropped):

Watch Orville Nix interviewed by Mark Lane in Rush to Judgment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rdEpZu2QJY...feature=related Seated at a desk, he appears to be a rather short man. Thanks to Robin, I was able to do a computer analysis of these two frames which shows very clearly that the gray oval shape was painted in frame by frame. Thanks, Robin.
