If what the book says is true, the CIA has certainly changed since the rogue days of the 60s and 70s. It doesn't sound much like an intelligence agency at all if it just tells presidents what they want to hear. But I strongly suspect that the CIA still has a very dark side that hasn't changed all that much. Seems to me that that side has been covering up for itself for decades.
