JFK vs Trump

Recommended Posts

I know it's an impossible question to answer but if running against him how would JFK have responded to Trump's actions as president?

I don't know that JFK had an immigration policy, it wasn't an issue at the time that I know of.  But this article made me wonder, would he have opposed "chain immigrants", bringing your family to the US for legitimate immigrants?

Then I started to wonder about civil rights and foreign policy.

Did the death of one President lead to this one?

Nixon  predicted Trump would be president in a letter to him. Trump has Nixon's letter hanging on the wall in the Oval Office.

This explains it. President Trump is Richard Nixon's revenge.

Ron,

Should I classify this as "horse carp"?

That's enlightening.  The current president has hanging on the wall of the Oval Office in essence an endorsement from the only occupant of it forced to resign or face impeachment.  A Public embarrassment to us all as a Nation.

Speaking of Richard Nixon, I am in the middle of reading Spooks by Jim Hougan.   This will be old news to anyone else here, but I am shocked by the number of times Nixon's name has appeared in relation to other events in this book.  Clearly, I never fully appreciated how Tricky Dick earned his nickname.
