There almost certainly was no purchase; it's just a story made up by scammers. When you get in touch with your credit card company, ask them to look into any unusual purchases. The Watergate book sounds interesting. I'm sure the CIA had nothing to do with this episode. I checked my bank account record and my credit card record this morning and both were accurate. The CIA is a master at using an outside party to do its dirty work. Sometime the outside party is totally unaware that he/she/it is being clandestinely manipulated by the CIA. That is what I show happened in The First Hour of Watergate. Edited March 15 by Douglas Caddy

Okay, thank goodness. The ordeal sounded very suspicious.

W. Niederhut
This is more about weather than climate. We got hit by a major snow storm here in Colorado this week. Fortunately, these ladies stranded on the Vail ski bus didn't have to resort to cannibalism. In other good news, none of my trees were damaged, and I didn't break my back shoveling more than a foot of heavy wet snow here in Denver yesterday. 50 women trapped on ski bus after major Colorado snowstorm (coloradosun.com)
Matt Allison
-ya W, I just saw a post on FB from one of my Colorado friends describing the snow and that is just plain bonkers. Crazy. -Can't wait for Bibi to get his comeuppance; horrible, evil man. So dangerous. -Doug- I am eagerly awaiting publication of your book. Matt Allison
We owe a debt of gratitude to the good people at Netflix, for I believe it's likely their new series will educate many people about the first Cold War, and the new one that we are currently in. W. Niederhut
Yo, fellas, St. Patrick's Day is tomorrow! It's time to think about partying-- or, at least, listening to some great Irish music! Here's the great Irish fiddler, Kevin Burke, with his Portland, Oregon-based band, Open House. By sheer luck, I saw these guys live at a pub in Vancouver, called the W.I.S.E. Club, (Welsh, Irish, Scottish, English) the year they came out with this first, eponymous album. Burke is my favorite, along with the Irish folk band, Altan. Steve Thomas
Internet shreds Trump after ex-president warns of 'bloodbath' if he loses election By David McAfee March 16, 2024 https://www.rawstory.com/trump-2667530593/ "Political onlookers took to social media on Saturday to skewer Donald Trump, who said at a rally that there would be a "bloodbath" if he lost to President Joe Biden later this year. Trump was speaking at a Buckeye Values PAC Rally in Dayton, Ohio, where he flubbed his words several times and was accused of "glitching" on stage. In that same speech, he also included a line about the "bloodbath." "Now, If I don't get elected, it's gonna be a bloodbath. It's going to be a bloodbath for the country," the ex-president said." With talk like that, he's definitely going to lose, which means we may be in for trouble ahead. Steve Thomas

It's going to be a bloodbath for the country," the ex-president said." Damn Steve!, I thought maybe we had him for good. That's political dynamite! He has been sinking in the polls. But it's out of context. Trump: We’re going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not going to be able to sell those cars if I get elected,” Trump said. "Now if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it," he added. "It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it. But they’re not going to sell those cars. They’re building massive factories.” Later, he added, "If this election isn’t won, I’m not sure that you’ll ever have another election in this country." Matt Allison
It's best to watch the video. CNN reports the quote as follows: “Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole – that’s gonna be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That’ll be the least of it.” During this same speech Trump also claimed that "Joe Biden beat Barack Hussein Obama." It certainly seems like Trump's mental decline is rapidly accelerating. Will he still be cognitively functional by Election Day? Serious question.
Kirk Gallaway
More new Trump gaffes. I don't know how but I got videos with one link! I was meaning to show the second one entitled.
