Hunt, McCord, Sturgis Watergate and the JFKA--Hougan

I don't know if EF-JFK'ers will be able to download this one or not. Sometimes the Harpers website allows a downloading, and sometimes wants a subscription. Maybe a tech sharpie can make a link for us.

It is an article by Jim Hougan, back when real stories might run in magazines.

Among many other factors, the lengthy article ponders the inexplicable actions of James McCord, the Watergate burglar who seemed to want to get caught.

E Howard Hunt and Sturgis, two names associated with the JFKA, were on the Watergate burglary team, along with other CIA'ers.

This is worth reading---even more so, as scholar John Newman recently ID'ed McCord as a possible Russian double-agent, and related somehow to the handling of LHO.

Strange stuff.

You think you know what happened in certain public events? Wait 50 years....

With all the deeply hidden truth secrets uncovered ( and proven to be true ) in the JFKA research effort the last 60 years...nothing would surprise me regards a story like this also being true.

McCord did seem to be a person of many faces and agendas different even from the usual suspects like Hunt, G. Gordon Liddy, etc.

Fiction writers ought to give up.

Nothing tops the JFKA and Watergate events for drama.

And are we to believe the Deep State stopped topping Presidents...beginning when?

A Deep State today that 100 times the resources it had in 1963?

A fun excerpt:

“What we are d ing, then, is taking a puzzle down from the attic. The picture on its box has been torn-
away, and we cannot be certain of the final image. Nor can we be certain that the box contains all the pieces needed to assemble the puzzle. Indeed, it may even be that the box contains pieces from another puzzle. We can be certain, however, that the puzzle's center- piece depicts the night of June 16-17 and the actions of James McCord.”

Man, you know it.

And now, decades later, serious JFKA researcher John Newman says McCord was in on the handling of LHO? Along with CIA mole-hunter Bruce Solie?

This jigsaw puzzle just had some new pieces abruptly tossed on the table.

You can't make this stuff up.

Did the CIA depose two presidents? And maybe more?
