  1. You're dead wrong about this. You need to re-read Pat Speer's last several posts regarding this issue.
  2. "Just having Lee Oswald in the general area of the [Tippit] crime, with a gun, and acting "funny" and obviously avoiding the police is a good hunk of circumstantial evidence leading to his guilt right there. Where does the road of common sense take a reasonable person when JUST the above after-the-shooting activity of Lee Harvey Oswald is examined objectively? It sure doesn't lead to total innocence, I'll tell ya that right now. (Especially when the stuff that went on inside the movie theater is factored in as well.) In a nutshell, this murder boils down to the following concrete fact (based on the overall weight of the evidence that surrounds the crime): If Lee Harvey Oswald didn't kill J.D. Tippit -- then J.D. Tippit wasn't killed at all. Maybe it was all some kind of "Bobby Was In The Shower" type of dream or something instead." -- DVP; October 2006
  3. http://jfk-archives.blogspot.com/2010/06/tippit-timelines.html ------------- Here's another good question that conspiracy theorists need to answer.... The fact that Lee Harvey Oswald was running around---on foot---with a gun in his hands near the area of Tenth Street and Patton Avenue in Oak Cliff at just about the very same time when J.D. Tippit was being shot and killed is a fact that is NOT really important at all when trying to determine who shot Officer Tippit....because....?
  4. But I didn't "need" to get any permission from anybody prior to late August of 2019, because no such "Get Permission" rule was officially on the EF books until Aug. 27, 2019. That was the point, Sandy (which you seem to want to ignore).
  5. "Hosty Notes" Addendum..... I don't think the words "Presidential Parade" came out of the mouth of Lee Harvey Oswald at all. Based on all of the official FINAL reports (from Fritz, Bookhout, Hosty, and Kelley), I think the words "P. Parade" that appear in the "new" Hosty note were probably HOSTY'S words and HOSTY'S interpretation of Oswald's "out with Bill Shelley" statement. Otherwise, we'd have a lot more reports (and notes) that had the word "Parade" in them. More.... http://jfk-archives.blogspot.com/2019/02/jfk-assassination-arguments-part-1308.html
  6. How can you know such a thing? Is it because the notes are written on the back of an affidavit form?
  7. No, that's not right, Pat. I never agreed to remove anything from my site at any time. Because, in my opinion, I have done nothing wrong at all by merely re-posting Education Forum material that is already public to my own website. And BTW, let me also add this important point.... Prior to late August of 2019, nobody at this forum gave a damn about the fact that I was copying some of their posts to my site (even though most EF members positively knew that I was doing it---because I had told them several times in many pre-2019 posts that I was doing it). It wasn't until late 2019 that anyone gave two hoots about what I was doing at my own site. It was only at that time then, in August of 2019, for some reason, that I became a law-breaking criminal and a member of the Ten Most Wanted, even though I had broken no laws (and had broken no "EF rules" either at that time prior to August 2019, because forum owner James R. Gordon had not even placed on the EF books the new "Do Not Copy Posts Without Permission" rule until approximately 9 hours after he had booted me off the forum). Go figure the fickleness of Internet CTers. I sure can't.
  8. No permission was required prior to Aug. 2019 (which is when James Gordon decided to add a new rule to the EF rulebook so that he could find a "legal" [sort of] excuse to kick me out the door, which he did). So Sandy's comment above does not apply, and is not a fair comment.
  9. What would you expect, for Pete sake? It's MY own site. I find it difficult to believe that even a conspiracy fantasist like yourself is actually silly enough to expect that the final words that I choose to print in any of my various articles/pages on MY website (the "sign off" for those pages, IOW) would feature comments written by some conspiracy theorist. If you think that, you're living on Planet Venus. (Also --- Do you ever wonder if an "LNer" ever gets "the last word" on Kennedys & King or any other site run by a CTer? I sure don't wonder. I know the answer.)
  10. I take it then, based on your reply above, that nobody at the 2023 Wecht Conference bothered to ask Mr. Landis any questions at all about the contradictory nature of Landis' current version of his "bullet" story as compared to those 1983 and 1988 newspaper articles....is that correct? If that is correct, I can only wonder....why not?
  11. But Oswald's response to the reporters [in the "I'm Just A Patsy" TV news film] generally matches the alibi that Oswald gave to Dallas Police Captain Will Fritz that same day, with Oswald telling Fritz that he was "having his lunch about that time [of the assassination] on the first floor" (Warren Report; Pg. 600). Fritz never said that Oswald told him that he was "out with Bill Shelley in front" or "standing on the top step in front of the building with Wesley Frazier" as the assassination was taking place. Oswald specifically said that he was inside the building on the first floor (which was a big fat lie, of course). But, per CTers, I guess I'm supposed to believe that Captain Fritz was the person telling a bunch of lies, instead of Mr. Oswald. But the main point I always stress to CTers when this topic comes up is.... When given several chances to shout out to the world (via the live television cameras and microphones that were being shoved in his face on both November 22nd and 23rd at Dallas City Hall), Lee Harvey Oswald never uttered a word about being on the front steps of the Book Depository at precisely 12:30 PM on November 22. Don't you think that's mighty strange if Lee Oswald had, in fact, been located on those steps when JFK was being killed? More..... DVP's JFK Archives / Oswald's Whereabouts At 12:30 PM On Nov. 22nd
  12. Bump.... Does anyone have any information as to whether or not Paul Landis did or did not speak at some kind of "Wecht Conference" last month? I had heard that he was going to speak at some 60th Anniversary conference. And--hopefully--Mr. Landis would also be answering some questions from the audience. Anybody know if he did? As I said three months ago.... Mr. Landis, IMO, needs to be confronted with BOTH the 1983 newspaper article and the 1988 newspaper article at the same time, which each say the very same thing concerning the matter of the "bullet fragment". I'd be interested to know if Landis thinks he was misquoted in both of those articles, five years apart.
  13. Here's another very "strange" Weisberg clip (which, given the known evidence in the JFK case, is much more ridiculous than even Harold's ultra-preposterous notion that the DPD would have even cared about whether Buell was shacking up with Marina): http://jfk-archives.blogspot.com/2011/10/harold-weisberg.html
  14. Yes, Tony, I brought up that very photo just last month....
  15. Huh??? Who has ever defined this forum in such a restrictive manner? I know of no one who has---until Jim D. just now.
  16. So what you're really saying is that you think it's odd to actually follow the evidence to where it actually leads. Because in order for Oswald NOT to have ordered the rifle, all of the paperwork relating to the Klein's order must have been faked by unknown/unseen plotters. And I'm supposed to think that THAT kind of "wholesale fakery" notion is a MORE reasonable and sensible theory than the simple belief that has LHO really ordering the gun from Klein's? Talk about oddball reasoning. That takes the cake. -------------- "Despite over forty years of allegations by Mark Lane and other conspiracy theorists, if there is one thing even a child should walk away from this case knowing for sure, it's that only one rifle was found in the Texas School Book Depository and that rifle, a Mannlicher-Carcano, serial number C2766, was bought and paid for by Lee Harvey Oswald." -- Vincent Bugliosi
  17. Which is the only conclusion that any sensible and reasonable person could possibly reach. Why not join the sensible, Sandy?
  18. The old, worn-out conspiracy myths never die. You should know that that is a basic and fundamental rule of JFK forums by now, shouldn't you Jim? Another worn-out obsolete argument that's currently making the rounds at this forum is "The SBT Is Impossible" claptrap. Next week, the "Badge Man" and "Tippit Was Buried In JFK's Grave" myths will likely be revisited. It never ends. And never will.
