  1. Bill, I'm well aware of the allegastion. Now, what does what you wrote have to do with the B.S from Backes? Todd Bill: This question was never answered. Maybe that is the explanation for these replies. Below his bio you posted: Hi Todd, Welcome to the Ed Forum's JFK Assassination Debate. Thanks for the work you did at the Ford library. There hasn't been much debate going on around here. Maybe you can stimulate things a bit. I see you are listed among those with Dr. Rahn's "Non conspiracists united" Do you subscribe to his "chance, not conspiracy" coincidentalists theory of the assassination? Bill Kelly
  2. I hope the reviews are as terrible as I know the book will be. I trust Jimmie D. on this one. Just like the great review he did of Matthew's bs. His reviews of garbage are so good you don't need to read the actual book. I do not always agree with him and it's well known where we disagree, but I certainly appreciate that he reads this stuff and writes a long review. Dawn
  3. Then why are you posting on a site devoted to the assassination of JFK?
  4. Good for you Michael." Leni" got it wrong. (Imagine that!) I had no idea either that Gallup was involved in these ways. Casts a whole new light on their polling. Dawn
  5. The problem is apathy. Most people do not have or make time to look into it. To many it's ancient history. This is what they counted on. And guess what? They were right. I too have tried to have the conversation with literally thousands over these many decades and it is mostly met with eyes rolling. I can hear their thoughts "oh one of THOSE conspiracy weirdos"... Dawn
  6. I do not think the faces look alike at all. In fact it was the photo discrepancies that got Jack white started on this, and in turn Armstrong on his ten year long investigation of the evidence of two different people. The book can be obtained via Andy at the Last Hurrah. 570-321-1155. I bought mine from him for $70.00. READ the damn book. Arguing the WC "evidence" is not even worth reading. (imho). Dawn
  7. Now that would be something to see. I'd love it if he had you on his show. But I am guessing he's too chickenxxxx.
  8. And just who here is surprised????? Really very sad because a lot of people will read it. He's a first class pig and has a lot of power. Remember a few years back a woman made some pretty scary accusations against him and he buried her.
  9. Jim, Of course it will be an about face. Like we can actually DO anything about that? We can email him and remind him of his past but I bet you dinner that his book will be cover story all the way. Dawn
  10. Wow, this is really funny. He has not read the book but knows it is all wrong. David you are wasting your time here. You cannot argue with someone who refuses to look at the evidence. You are just banging your head against a wall. Dawn
  11. John, Frankly I do not buy that any journalist really believes in the LN view of the JFK assassination. They just have to say they do. Otherwise it is, as Russ Baker has observed, a career killer. Dawn
  12. Robert You might just try READING the book before being so dismissive. Dawn I see you are in touch with my old friend Rachel. She's good people. I see once again you do not have any comprehension of the term "in confidence". I just talked with Rachel, you should not expect to be in communication with her again. She is a very private person and was not at all happy with all you have posted at Lancer.
  13. I am sure Jim must be aware that Jim Garrison referred to Summers as "One of the CIA's more accommodating prostitutes ". If he he disputes this he can see it in a letter from JG to me in 1986. I had heard about a riff between the two and wrote them both in an effort to either dispell or convince both we needed to be on the same side. Summer's reply to me was sparce and he repeated his evasion about conspiracy, saying there "may have been one". Garrison on the other hand wrote me a three page single space letter and off to the side he hand writes "Incidently, every single author you mentioned is100% CIA and prostitute is too good a word for them". . The letter may be seen via google "letter of Jim Garrison". It is at Wim's JFK solved site. I liked the book "Conspiracy" very much too. Seems AS is trying to have it both ways. Or maybe Garrison was onto something. Summers loved to smear JG with the ties- to- the- Mob lies. Dawn
  14. Max Holland will look like the fool he is. And if Gglio is promoting Holland he's in for a smack down as well. Could get interesting, and quite argumentative. Dawn
  15. McAdams is such a pig. To send out an "unpleasant email" about someone on the event of that person's death is so disgusting.
  16. Ya right. That explains it all. I cannot stand these people. They are either very stupid/ill informed or intellectually dishonest. Either way the reader suffers. I avoid Huff. Dawn
  17. Robert You might just try READING the book before being so dismissive. Dawn I see you are in touch with my old friend Rachel. She's good people.
  18. Really why is anyone bothering to respond to this person. Whatever his real name is.
  19. Ok we have established that it is your belief that LHO was "the lone gunman" and Ruby the "lone nut". So we know why you are here. And it is not to learn or educate, but distract. Goodbye. Whatever your real name is.
  20. Why does anyone even respond to this person? It's clear from this post that he's a lone nutter. Whatever his true name may be. Dawn
  21. It is my opinion that Ted is not speaking out because of death threats against members of the Kennedy family. What do you think of the death of John Kennedy Jr? It's just pure evil against that family. I think Ted has done a great job for his constituents and the United States as Senator all these years. Kathy ____________________________ "What do you think of the death of John Kennedy Jr? It's just pure evil against that family." Hi Kathy. I agree with your premises. I would like to ask for any references, other than what has been provided on this thread so far, you can list regarding the JFK Jr. death in terms of links, articles, etc. I'm quite interested and I am sure others here would be, also. Kudos to Myra. Most have forgotten the airplane crash in Western Massachusetts in 1964 - less than a year after the JFK assassination - in which Ted nearly was killed. The pilot and one of Kennedy's aides were killed. Thank you. JohnG John, I've been independently looking into the JFK, Jr. death for the past few years. There isn't much out there on the internet (and nothing in any of the establishment press). You can find the stuff that is there by googling Newshawk, John Quinn, John DiNardo and Anthony Hilder, and at least some of the articles they wrote at the time of his death and in the immediate aftermath should still be out there. BTW, I emailed a couple of the local reporters from a t.v. station in New England (sorry, don't have the call letters in front of me) last year, and one of them actually brought up the fact that he'd always suspected something was "wrong" with the official story of JFK, Jr's plane crash. I emailed him some followup questions, and when he never replied, tried again last month, but he seems to be ignoring me now. The other reporter, who anchored their coverage, sent me a long reply which totally supported the official story. Don: What is the status of this? It is very sad that so little has been written on the frame up of Ted and the muder, (imho) of JFK Jr. Thanks, Dawn.
  22. Jim, you are always telling us what a great historian you are and that you are always very careful about examining the accuracy and reliability of your sources. I am therefore interested in your sources to support your amazing claim that I “allowed” Peter Janney to write his book on Mary Pinchot Meyer. If you said that I allow you to make attacks on me on the forum I would have more understanding of what you meant. That was exactly my response when I read that John. Then when I read Jim's answer to me I was again struck by the question of HOW on earth could you know this. IF such was true which I doubt. I doubt any writer is having someone else dictate the path his or her book will take. This thread is just getting off the wall. All MIke and RCD and I are saying is that we agree with the jury. Then it gets twisted. Like we are not permitted to think for ourselves and have an opinion. And calling Mike Hogan "Mikey" is so juvenile. Dawn.
  23. "Simkin knew he was doing this. Why he allowed him to proceed as he did is a mystery worthy of Hammett or Marlowe. " Jim: Why would John Simkin have any say over how Janney "proceeded" with his book? Dawn
  24. Gaeton Fonzi, 76, of Satellite Beach, died peacefully on Thursday, August 30 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by Marie, his wife of 55 years, four children (Irene, Guy, Maria, and Christopher) and their spouses (Jeff, Dolly,Victor and Gina), eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Fonzi’s fame as an investigative journalist earned him a place on the Senate and House Committees which investigated the JFK assassination and subsequently resulted in the publication of his book The Last Investigation in 1993 which is highly critical of the Warren Commission Report. His book was considered by many critics as among the best books on the subject and he was recognized as a respected authority on those aspects of the assassination involving anti-Castro Cubans and the intelligence agencies. Previous to his involvement investigating the assassination, Mr. Fonzi was Senior Editor of Philadelphia Magazine where he wrote over 100 major feature articles and won the magazine’s first national journalism award. During this time, he published Annenberg: a Biography of Power and was featured in Best Magazine Articles 1968. An honors journalism graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Fonzi served in the US Army Infantry and rose to Captain in a Civil Affairs reserve unit. Upon moving to Miami in 1972, Mr. Fonzi became editor of Miami Magazine and senior editor of its sister publication, Gold Coast. Throughout his career, Mr. Fonzi wrote for New York Times Magazine, Esquire, Penthouse, Avenue Magazine, the New York Daily News and the Chicago Tribune. He won numerous awards including two local Sigma Delta Chi Awards and a National Sigma Delta Chi Award. Mr. Fonzi was an avid runner who completed numerous races and three marathons. His greatest joy was sailing with loved ones on his Mariah Jones. He has been called the best investigative reporter who ever drew breath, a man whose courage and judgment could be trusted without hesitation. So who could dispute this lifetime Yankee fan’s claim that he was indeed Joe DiMaggio. Luncheon reception at 1:00 p.m., at City Tropics Bistro, 249 Fifth Avenue, Indialantic, Fla. (321) 723-1300.
