  1. Kathleen, Oz couldn't have purchased an expensive or even an adequate sniper rifle given what the WC said about his resourses. About 14.00 dollars was all he could have afforded had he actually bought the ordered weapon. If he'd ordered a 295.00 dollar rifle then it would have been imperative to explain when the $$$ came from. I understand his IRS files are still classified. I don't think he ever saw or even touched the Carcano while alive! I can't think of one witness that ever saw Oz w/the rifle except De Mor and Marina and I discount both of their testimonies as many do. jim
  2. Of course, it is just my opinion that it might have happened this way; Oz is brought home by conspriator driving station wagon [ someone is more than keeping an eye on him they are directing and handling him]. He goes into his borarding house, 2 horn tooting cops pull up in front and ease on away. Oz comes out of his room and goes to the corner bus stop where he is last seen. The horn tooting cops pick him up around the corner OR the dark complected station wagon driver picks him up after making the block . One or the other of these two villians takes Oz to a point just west of the TT and lets him out so he can buy a ticket and go in to find the next facilitator, the one Oz is seen chair hopping trying to find. Killing a cop would be the best diversion of cop man power at DP but you have to have a cop to kill at a place from which his killer can be tracked to where the patsy actually is. Maybe Tip wasn't supposed to kill Oz on Tenth St. but was to talk to some guy wearing a light colored jacket who would give him the lowdown on where to find Oz. { I can't believe this incident had anything to do with Tip's girlfriend. Too many things could have gone wrong to leave his showing up just at the right time to get plugged ] not to say Tip might have before hand picked the spot himself to meet the light colored jacketed man knowing the area as he did. I can't believe Tip, knowing the pres. has just been shot is going to his little honey's house for some afternoon delight. So while Oz is chair hopping and buying popcorn the " light colored jacket guy' shoots Tip and begans his trek to the TT, losing his jacket and leaving bread crumbs along the way to make sure the shoe salesman gets on his trail and leads the cops by proxy to where Oz is waiting. After slipping into the TT this villian makes his way to the rear door and when the cops arrive is jerked out and put into a squad car to be spirited away. This couldv'e been plan "B". Later to put a good spin on this adventure it becomes know as the " ROSETTA STONE". So now plan " C " takes affect..........RUBY
  3. I disagree. In order to have the Tippit killing diversion work when needed there would have had to be numerous " Tippit Killers " roaming Oakcliff streets and this even wouldn't have been a guarantee that Tip would have driven a particular street at the needed time. If Tippit's shooting was to be diversionary it would have to be triggered the moment Oswald wasn't gunned down at the Depository. Was it? If there was a plan " B " then someone had to push the button quickly to set it in motion. I think what might have happened was that Tippit was supposed to meet Oswald on Tenth street and he knew Oswald . Tippit was to kill the murderer of the president and be a hero like Ruby thought he was going to be after killing Oswald. The imposter says through the window of the squad car, " Oswald should be coming down the street any time now. If you want to get out of the car we can wait together and I'll be your witness that he drew first." But when Tip exits the car without alarm and without drawing his gun the imposter gets the drop on him and kills him dead. Then the imposter heads off to lead the cops to the TT so they can kill Oswald there. So the purpose of killing Tip wasn't diversionary but imparative to lead the cops to Oswald so he could be gunned down in a dark place to give plotters time to construct the story line based on the outcome of events. It was this imposter who was thrown into the squad car in the alley behind the TT having accomplised his mission. After all, the bad guys knew Oswald was going to be at the TT looking for his handlers not roaming Oakcliff streets. Long story - short. Diversion ....NO. Lead the cops to where they knew Oswald was........YES. jim
  4. I have read that some on this forum think Tippitt's murder was a diversion to drain Dallas Police from Dealy Plaza. 1. How could the Puppetmasters be sure Tippit would be at 10th & Patton at the same time his killer was? If Tip was in on the assassination then he could have been told Ozwald { or who ever } would be walking down 10th at a certain time. But could Tip's killer know when he would come patroling? After all, Tip was supposed to be covering Oak Cliff which is a very large area . He wasn't told to hang around 10th Street. He could have been anywhere in the district. For the Tip killing to have been a planned diversion both parties would have had to be in on the assassination plot with Tip's killer being a little more informed than Tip. I don't buy it. It just doen't fit a diversion timetable. How many streets would have Tip have had to patrol before he saw his man. How many streets would the killer have had to walk before he saw his man? If the killer had not encountered Tip he still could have led the Keystone Cops to the TEXAS theater maybe by shooting Brewer or Julia . Tippit was killed. But I can't see it being a PLANNED diversion. Because I don't think Tippit was a conspriator. I welcome all comments. jim
  5. Hi Bill, I'm still on the ground in and around Dealy Plaza because I believe in order to ever have a grand jury indicte someone we first have to have the might of the public behind us. Look what was accomplished after O.Stone's " JFK " came out. The public has to be convinced that Oswald didn't do it. This is the first and foremost fact that has to be ingested by John Q. Small bites, tidbits laid out in a bread crumb trail to lead the masses to the realization that " something ain't right ". That's how I come to be a member of this forum and proved to myself by reading yours, and Roberts and Lee's and Jacks and most of the other senior member's comments and lessons, that I really didn't know #@%$ about the assassination of John Kennedy or the ramifications, thereof. I think it is very important to expose the little guys on the ground wearing the " black hats " because they will lead us by association to the big guys wearing " black hats " in the beltway and in the highrise buildings of New York and other cities and most likely in other countries, too! The public sees in black and white. There must come a revelation , a new and fantastic discovery. Our cause must be sold to the public just like the Warren Report was and continues to be. And not to the " baby boomers ". Their time has past. We, as a group, have our pensions and retirements facing us. Wars are fought by the young! Well, I got that off my chest, lol ! jim
  6. Does anyone have a floorplan or layout that they could post of the Daltex building as it was in 1963. I have seen numerous details of SBD but never any of Daltex building. jim
  7. What if.... The "Killer Of Tippit", lets call him " KOT" was waiing for Tip to call him at one of the houses on Tenth Street. He waits and waits for the phone call but it doesn't come. So he goes outside and stands around the on the sidewalk. Tip does call from the Top Ten Record Shop but its just after KOT has gotten tired of waiting for the call and goes outside to the sidewalk. Now Tip comes barreling through the neighborhood, stopping the insurance guy and looking in his back seat for , 1. payoff money to transport KOT to Red Bird Airport [ its not Tip's fault if his fare isn't going to show up], 2. Someone has told Tip that the biggest arrest of his career waits for him at Tenth & Patton and since Tip believes KOT thinks they are confederates it will be easy to get the drop on KOT and be a hero, 3. Tip thinks his girlfriend has been slipping around on him he uses the confusion of the day to leave his normal area and sneak up on his girlfriend's house to see if he can catch the enterloper. KOT's superiors have instructed him to lure Tip to this location and shoot him to cause more confusion and/or lead the posse to the Texas Theater THIS IS ALL CONJECTURE. I don't know what to believe but since there is no definitive answer to which way KOT was walking[ EAST OR WEST } maybe he was there all the time and for some reason waiting for Tip to show up. After all, Scoggins doesn't say KOT passed his cab which he would have had to do if approaching from the West. And Markham would have and DID say alot of things which weren't true. Why believe her when she said she seen a man step up onto the curb at the South East Corner ot Tenth and Patton directly in front of Scoggin's lunch location and Scoggins says nothing of the incident. Can anyone think of other reasons KOT would have been waiting for Tip and not coming from the East or West? Jim { my real name -not initials LOL }
  8. WADE, I think Garrison is America's absolute hero of the last century! He did the one thing that no one else has ever done- Stand alone against the federal government. Of course, at the time it wasn't apparent but looking back he began the peeling process that brought in Watergate and many other scandals that have shown our federal government and even state and local governments to be the sidewinders they are. jim
  9. Thanks Duke. Mrs Bledsoe made no bones that she formed an intense dislike for Lee oswald, especially after she heard him speaking on HER telephone in a FOREIGN language. Her description of Oswald's clothing etc. when she saw him on the bus is not particularly credible, but then we don't identify people by their clothing, we identify people by their faces. Bledsoe recognized him, but she owed him money, so she did not want to look at him or be seen by him. Duke and I have had this conversation before but leaning more on Scoggins and his sandwhich than Markham. By Scoggin's " Glaring Ommission " of his not seeing Oswald or anyone else pass in front of his cab while having his lunch I cannot say that Tippit's killer was walking EAST at anytime as Scoggins was setting at the corner of Tenth and Patton before Markham could have arrived or even started her "approach " to the corner. If Scoggins didn't see anyone pass in front of his cab walking EAST then no one was walking EAST. After all , IMO, Scooins is a much better credible witness than Helen and he was about twice as close to the scene as was Markam. I will say this, it has never occurred to me that Tippit's killer could have been waiting there before Scoogins or Markham showed up by way a pre-arranged meeting of some sort. Markham could certainly be persuaded to add to or take away from her testimoney by DPS or others with badges and guns to say she a man step up onto the curb ect... jim feemster Maybe so, but I don't see how Bledsoe's testimony can hurt the defense case. It is no crime to take a bus, and according to the interrogation reports (if I am remembering correctly) Lee Oswald himself told Fritz that he took a bus. If Lee Oswald says he was on a bus, and Bledsoe (who knew him well by sight) says she saw him on the McWatters bus, then the McWatters bus is good enough for me, despite mcWatters own confusion in the matter. Why would a lawyer defending Lee Oswald try to prove Mrs. Bledsoe a xxxx? As far I can see, Bledsoe's testimony is perfectly consistent with Oswald's claim that he was innocent. Thanks Duke, and JRC, And I forgot to mention that the bus transfer ticket was reportedly found in Oswald's shirt pocket, which would have at least placed him on a bus. I don't know where Fuhrman got the 12:36PM but it is a pretty precise number, and it just doesn't make any sense. BK
  10. Tony, here is a question to consider: If Ruby didn't come down the ramp [and I sincerely believe he did not], I wonder what was going to be his explaination for having arrived at his ambush site when he did? P. S. I have known Roy Vaughn for over 20 years, and though I have always respected his privacy and have not tried to discussed his role in this contraversy I feel certain he would always tell the truth under any circumstances. jim feemster
  11. Thanks for responding , Greg, Yeah, there's something about Pic that doesn't ring true and of course Robert , too! But I think in Robert's case its more after the fact than before. When you can't find your car keyes they are in a place where you haven't looked! Any idea of the name of the bar Marina owned w/ Porter? jim
  12. Hi all, Anyone here remember Marina getting thousands of dollars sent to her by the American public in the same way Tippitt's widow received the same? If so, do you know how much it was and any other details of her life post assassination until about 1980.? I've heard she was a party girl, was accused of shoplifting once and a few other things that had to do with her around Dallas in the above mentioned time frame. By the way I am " PRO " Marina and only ask out of curiosity as to how she got along . jim feemster
  13. Steve thanks alot for that info about Capt. Solomon. Looks like another dead end. Interesting though. Its funny but the things that people remembered just days or even hours after the assassination seemed to slip away from their memory just a few short weeks after time went by. jim
  14. Thanks Peter and Steve! Would there be a way to access the particular " roster " Holly spoke of ?
  15. Holly was interviewed by the FBI on December 11, 1963. Here's a copy of his FBI interview: http://www.maryferrell.org/mffweb/archive/...p;relPageId=149 The name of the reserve officer is not mentioned. He was also interviewed by the WC on March 26, 1964. You can read his testimony here: (12H261) http://www.maryferrell.org/mffweb/archive/...bsPageId=251735 He said he couldn't remember the name of the Reserve Officer and Leon Hubert asked him if the Officer's name was Newman. Holly didn't know. The same day, Reserve Officer William J. Newman was interviewed by the WC. He denied telling anyone there at Parkland that he had seen a man coming down the ramp. When Hubert asked him if the man he had seen coming down the ramp was Ruby, he said, "Mr. HUBERT. Would you say that the man coming down the ramp was Jack Ruby? Mr. NEWMAN. No; I wouldn't. By the same token, I wouldn't say that he wasn't. Mr. HUBERT. In other words, you can't say whether he was or wasn't? Mr. NEWMAN. That's right. I just didn't pay that much attention to it at the time. You can read his deposition here: http://jfkassassination.net/russ/testimony/newman_w.htm Steve Thomas
  16. From History Matters Archives-WCH, Volume XX---Holly Exhibit No. 5111 November 29,1963 Mr. J.E. Curry Chief Of Police Subject: Security Transfer of Prisoner Sir: Our Reserve Officer, H.B. Holly, Jr. No. 710 C I, 3429 Antilles, Mesquite, { Texas } informed me this date that he was working Sunday, November 24, at City Hall approximately ten minutes after the shooting of Oswald, and then was sent to Parkland. While at Parkland, he engaged in conversation with another Reserve Officer whose name is unknown to him. This Reserve Officer told Mr. Holly that prior to the shooting, he either observed, or himself admitted Jack Ruby to the basement. That Mr. Ruby was wearing a press indentification card on his jacket. Mr. Holly states he could recognise this Reserve Officer if he could see him again. He also states that there was a roster that he himself was on this work roster. Respectfully submitted, {Singnature } A. M. Eberhardt, 1267 Detective Burglary and Theft Bureau Does anyone know if this lead was followed up? jim
  17. Hey guys, Ruth Paine did not have to have Linnie Randle to tell her where OZ could find a job. It was convient that she did, " if " she did. But Ruth could have said she met someone in the post office who mentioned where a young man with a child on the way could obtain employment. She wouldn't have remembered that person's name , however. And it would seem just as much a fluke as what she testified to. If you are going to play baseball youv'e got to get the players to the stadium. It does't really matter how they get there. By bus or cab or on a bike the players have to get there and get some practice in so that the game can start on time. Ruth probably wouldn't have known any of the other bad guys she just did her part and was probably coached and encouraged by Mikey. jim
  18. Since Scoggins or Markham did not see Oswald or any other person cross in front of them in their respective locations the man who shot Tippet had to be coming from the East and walking towards the West. This puts the gunman facing Tippet as he nears the squadcar. Much more time would have been needed for Oswald to transverse the extra distance from his rooming house for him to show up walking from the East thereby knocking him out of the scene of the crime all together. Scoggins would have said something like, " As I was eating my sandwhich a man crossed Patton Street and crossed right in front of my cab and contiued on in an Easternly direction approximately 120 feet when a crusier came up slowly behind him and pulled to the curb, ect, ect...." Markham would have said something like this, " Just as I was nearing the Northwest corner of Tenth & Patton on the way to catch my bus a man crossed Patton Street right in front of a cab that was parked at the Southeastern corner of Tenth & Patton and continued East a very short distance just as a policeman pulled up behind him." I realize these two eyeball witnesses weren't asked if a man crossed in front of them but I see no way at least one of them would not volunteer the information especially if it were true! jim
  19. Last year a raised this issue and Duke helped by correcting my directions. My reasoning for thinking Oswald wasn"t Tippet's killer. OK> You've got the cab driver setting at the South East corner of Tenth & Patton eating his sandwich. AND> You've got Helen Markham walking up to and standing on the North West corner of Tenth & Patton. Neither say that Oswald crossed the intersection in front of them which he would have had to do if coming from the West. Duke pointed out that he wasn't aware of anyone asking these two eyeball witneses if they had seen Oswald pass in front of them. That may be true but they testified they had seen Oswald when they seen him at or near the squad car so why not if they had seen him before. Any comments appreciated. jim
  20. It seems to me John Connally was considerably taller than JFK. They say JFK's jump seat was 6" higher than JC's seat. If JC's height was close to 6" more than JFK's this alone would negate the SBT. Anyone know JC's actual height?
  21. How far is it from Tenth & Patton to the Texas Theater? How long would it take our Tippit " perp " to make the trip walking or jogging or flat out running to get there, starting from, say, 1:16 pm? jim
  22. I met Ed Hoffman in the summer of 96' at Lancer's offices in Grand Prarrie, Tx. He signed a copy of his book for me and with the help of the office manager at the time {i don't remember his name } Hoffman explained to me what he saw . To help in his explanation there was a mock-up of Dealy Plaza to scale in the office which Hoffman used to show me his vantage point and the activities he witnessed that day. He was extremely animated in his description and adamant that he was telling the true details as he saw them. Ofcourse , what he decibed was what was in his book. But I for one , believed him and still do. Ed Hoffman was there and I wasn't. There is still room for Bowers, and Badgeman, and Constuction Worker Man and many others seen that day as well as weapons tossed, difting smoke, gunpowder smells, mechanic looking agents with dirty fingernails, muddy bumpers, footprints, cigarette butts, reversable coats and other witnessed things. Because Ed didn't see every single detail that occurred behind the fence that day doesn't mean he was mistaken in what he did focus on in those few seconds. If we take all the eye witnesses' statements together lines can be drawn from each to center on a point or points. Let's not hack up the only real evidence we have so badly that all we have left is pieces of a puzzle that can't possibly fit together. Jim Feemster
