  2. Good Day.... FYI.... from someone named, "New Mexi Ken"'s, website blog.... http://newmexiken.com/2008/11/how-i-though...ote-to-history/ (QUOTE) How I thought I’d become a footnote to history In 1976, the House of Representatives established a Select Committee on Assassinations to investigate the murders of President John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King. Among the things the Committee sought was a thorough examination of all the photographic evidence in the Kennedy murder. At that time it took a mainframe computer to do what probably could be done on a personal computer today — that is, scan, enhance and thoroughly analyze the images. The image enhancement would be done at the Aerospace Corporation in California. The agreement with the National Archives, which had custody of the Kennedy assassination evidence in Washington, stipulated that the photographic records must be in the custody of the Archives or an Archives employee at all times. For two days I was that employee. The only copy of the photographs, film, x-rays, etc., was brought by courier to California and put in a safe within a secure area at the National Archives facility in Laguna Niguel, where I worked at the time. The image enhancement was being done in El Segundo near Los Angeles International Airport, some 60 miles away. Each day we opened the safe, verified that each item was present, put the briefcase and “suit” box (think of a four-inch high pizza box) into the trunk of a rented car and made the commute. That first day (it was Easter week 1978) I followed the procedure carefully even taking the materials with me to lunch, thinking to myself “if the people around me only knew what I had.” It was fascinating to see the enhancements and hear the analysis of the few experts working on the project and sworn to secrecy (as was I). Late in the afternoon I packed everything back up, put it in the trunk, returned to the office and locked it all in the safe. I remember thinking on the way home, this stuff would be worth a million dollars or more on the black market. Am I being followed? Am I in danger? The second morning we began the inventory. Everything was there, of course. Except — EXCEPT! — on one x-ray, right in the middle of the damaged part of President Kennedy’s skull, there was a bubble. I didn’t remember any damage to any of the x-rays. Now it looked as if this one x-ray had been too close to heat and the image had been burned. How did this happen? Where had I put the box that this could have happened? Was the computer console in the lab too hot? Was there a problem with the exhaust in the rental car that the trunk floor got excessively hot? My god, somehow I’ve damaged the only copy of a piece of evidence in the most important murder of the 20th century. My boss was visibly shaken. I was hyper-ventilating. My career is over. I’m a footnote in the Kennedy conspiracy books. There was nothing to do but put the briefcase and box in the car (inside with me this time) and make the drive to El Segundo. It was a lonely 90 minutes. Once there I trudged in and immediately confessed my crime. “Oh, that. Some doctor got it too close to a lamp years ago.” [The photographic and forensic experts I talked to were convinced the photographic evidence at least was consistent with one shooter — Oswald. As a reward for my participation in this project I was later permitted to see some other the other evidence including Oswald's clothing (blood stained) and his Mannlicher-Carcano rifle.] (END QUOTE) Best Regards in Research, Don Don Roberdeau U.S.S. 6. ....Good Day Pat.... Starting in June 2008, i was asked for my help with the precise DP geographical height above sea level measurements for key landmark locations and buildings locations, and that was it. (i was never asked about President KENNEDY's circa Z-312-313 head facing direction, which was obviously his facing left of limo-forward for when his head exploded). As I understand the program, now (not explained to me at the time**), these precise geographical measurements were for the program's segment that was filmed in California for the stagers recreating the horizontal, vertical, and lateral angles for the test shots that, apparently, the stagers chose to only be recreated, HSCA-like, from only the "hat man" GK fence location, and the warrenatti apologists, supposed, "lone nut" "snipers lair." Since the stagers were in DP, i truly hope that they also filmed (and show us !) and test-fired, or, at least rifle scope-viewed from additional long known suspected assassins locations.... ....from the TSBD 6th floor second most farthest WEST open window (where ARNOLD ROWLAND watched a second rifle armed man AND quickly reported this armed assassin to ROGER CRAIG within minutes of the attack) ....from the Dal-Tex west face roof line (i stood there in 1988, and can assure everyone that in a military operation mindset, MILOP, there is an exact spot on the Dal-Tex west face roof line from which the entire kill zone is visible AND every bullet(s) triggered from the Dal-Tex roof line would have been passing within mere feet of the warrenatti apologists, supposed, "lone nut" "snipers lair" window, very effectively nearly exactly duplicating its bullet angles for the, inevitable, planned autopsy to come on 11-22-63) ....from the Dal-Tex south face third floor open window in which something is seen in TOWNER ....from the Dal-Tex west face high floor ....from the Dal-Tex west face second floor (although i am of the belief that an assassin, whether professionally experienced or less experienced would never stick his body nor weapon into the view of any witnesses nor cameras) ....and from the County Records Building roof line at its east face northwest corner. (of course, from all of these locations, to be totally 100% accurate the running board standing SS agents and their head tops about 7' above Elm Street fairly close behind the president would also have to be included) Going by what certainly is a solid methodology that if a theorized impossible angle can eliminate a theorized suspected assassin location, it also helps us narrow down to the only possible locations. (of course that all directly ties into if the medical evidence that we currently know of is valid, which, after decades of study is not, imho, of a 100% certainty) When the program airs, you are assured, that from the filmed background DP landmarks, I will be photogramatically triangulating the exact angles and heights above the ground location that each of the rifle scope views were chosen to be actually filmed from by the stagers. Had i known that actual bullets were being fired from precise recreated vertical, horizontal, and lateral angles there are also several important considerations that i would have strongly recommended to the stagers that appears not to have been thought of.... One of which would have been for the dummy's head.... I definitely would have simply painted the scalp and skull in differing colors to indicate and differentiate the occipital, parietal, and frontal sections for us to clearly see, precisely, where these sections spattered to and landed after bullet impact. If the dummy's gelatinous, jello-like, brain could have been sectioned into the same corresponding o-p-f different colors i would have done that, also.... Another thing for everyone to keep in mind.... with regard to the GK "hat man" assassin that is, imho, seen 15.75' west of the picket fence corner in the MOORMAN #5 polaroid, but he was not seen in films nor photos including that location captured just seconds later.... The HSCA determined that the "hat man" assasin did trigger a shot (circa Z-290, which may explain the "last 2 shots were very closely bunched together" that a majority of the witnesses have stated they distinctly remember hearing), but he missed hitting President KENNEDY, he missed hitting anyone else, and the "hat man" assassin missed hitting the limo.... Interestingly, buried deep into close attack witness JEAN HILL’s warrenatti-testimony http://www.jfk-assassination.de/warren/wch/vol6/page205.php is discussion of, at least, one missed shot, and that a Secret Service “agent” stated to her 11-22-63 just minutes after the attack that other Secret Service “agents” already stationed and watching from a Dealey Plaza court house observed a missed shot striking very near her and kicking up debris (there were “officially“ no “agents,“ of any type, in the official record as ever being stationed in any Dealey Plaza court house, nor were there any other Secret Service “agents” stationed anywhere else near nor within Dealey Plaza, either before or during the attack) From the previews i have seen and from being directed to read the Australian company website http://www.tnesystems.com , since the dummy was staged with a flexible spine-neck mechanism, I am most looking forward to seeing if under bullet impact if the dummy's head does, or does not, move slightly forward, then, the head and upper torso moves far, quickly, back and to the left.... ** I have also since been told that the limousine used for the the 2008 "Discovery Channel" DP recreated rifle scope views was the same limousine used in STONE's, "JFK". Borden was acquitted of the 1892 ax murders of her father and stepmother in Massachusetts, though she was widely believed to be guilty. The Point Park University students have built a scale model of the Borden household to re-examine the infamous cases. The actual house is still standing, though it has been converted into a bed and breakfast. Students are using the model to learn the steps investigators take in studying a murder scene. Their next project is a study of the John F. 12. ....Good Day Ron.... That man was Mr. MALCOLM SUMMERS. At about Z-349 he is seen to have been aligned with President KENNEDY and ZAPRUDER. He dove sideways and somewhat backwards, away from the street/GK, and landed on his rear side. SUMMERS was known to investigators right after the assassination, and, was referenced for readers of the warrenatti canard. + born 7-28-24, passed on 10-8-2004 (heart ailment; brief illness) + before= Served as a Sergeant in the United states Air Force in WWII & Korean War + before= "Summers Mailing Services" founder & owner + before= He had gone to downtown Dallas to drop off some mail at the old Postal Annex within DP + during= @ 12:30 saw JFK slump after the 1st shot that SUMMERS remembered hearing (which he likened to a firecracker) , then he heard JACKIE yell "Oh God, no," then SUMMERS heard another shot. + during= @ 12:30 said 1st shot was louder than the next shot, and the 1st sounded like a firecracker, then he recognized the next shot as a rifle shot (in 2002 SFM interview & a 2003 WBAP radio interview SUMMERS said he heard 3 total shots with the 2002 scenario having the 2nd and 3rd shots bunched distinctly closer together in time than 1st and 2nd shots, with about one or two seconds between 2nd and 3rd audible muzzle blasts and/or mechanically suppress fired bullet bow shockwaves) + during= @ 12:30 shots and/or shockwaves source(s): 1st from TSBD intersection, then unsure on balance of shots; possibly from GK + during= @ 12:30 said he also heard CONNALLY yelling "They're going to kill us all" or "They're going to shoot us all" + Interestingly, the exact location that EDNA HARTMAN points to in her video interview with researcher MARK OAKES in which she details that her and her husband explored a bullet-created furrow in the grass is calculatable to a location within 10' of where we see SUMMERS diving away from the HARTMAN's bullet furrow. + after= @ 12:30 seen in Z-film diving sideways and falling down/rolling over backwards landing on his rear after 313; aligned with ZAPRUDER and JFK circa Z-349 + after= 12:32 to 12:33 (per SUMMERS in 1988's documentary "Who Murdered JFK?") SUMMERS demonstrated his trot northward shortly after the attack from his Elm south side location, across Elm, to a location just south of the "Bryan's pergola" and then "WE were stopped on the knoll" about 2-3 minutes after shots by a 5'10" to 6' tall coated/armed man on the south side of north pergola (an estimated 50' northeast of "ZAPRUDER's pedestal") by a man wearing a suit, hat and a tie, and concealing a small "machine gun" "over his raincoat" (did SUMMERS really mean to say "under his raincoat"?) of which SUMMERS could see only the muzzle barrel end. + after= When this armed man stopped SUMMERS and others he told them all that they could not come up there--they might get shot or killed. + after= SUMMERS said there were other people near him who this armed man was also warning they might get shot (his post-attack trotting path and encounter location are detailed on my DP map in turquoise) + after= @ 12:50 when SUMMERS was leaving DP in his truck, 3 Spanish men in a 1961 or 62 maroon Chevy sedan pulled quickly out in front of him, cclosely cutting him off, near the Postal Annex where SUMMERS had parked, so SUMMERS followed them as they were quite animated. The men drove towards Oak Cliff. + after= SUMMERS became the target of telephone threats just weeks after assassination + after= He came to know AL MADDOX + after= In 1992-93 he met with a woman who worked for the Houston police dept as a professional sketch artist. They worked together and completed a sketch that according to SUMMERS looked very similar to the suited man SUMMERS and others encountered on the south side of the GK who was armed with the mostly hidden weapon. Supposedly this sketch of the man who stopped SUMMERS and others is in a book. I do not recall viewing it in the 400+ published references that I own....Does anyone have this sketch available for posting, or, know which book we can view this sketch is in? 13. Good Day.... Lest any individual researcher forget, there were (and still are alive) several close DP witnesses, a total of 11 or more IIRC without looking in my detailed list, whose collective timestamped statements strongly support hearing a distinctly seperate audible muzzle blast or mechanically suppress fired bullet bow shockwave that was fired distinctly timestamped after Z-313.... after President KENNEDY's head exploded. Of the 41 DP witnesses I have personally contacted (not all of them could see the limo and/or JFK circa 313, but all of them did hear shots/shockwaves), 7 of them, who were all very close to the 313 explosion, detail and support a shot/shockwave timestamped after 313. Huppke | Tribune reporter 12:36 PM CST, November 10, 2008 When John Kerry was running for president, his daughter Vanessa joked that if her father beat George W. Bush she wanted her Secret Service code name to be "the hot one." Dad didn't come through for her, and the Bush twins probably got a good laugh out of it, knowing that for another four years they'd carry the awesome aliases "Twinkle" and "Turquoise." Since the time of Harry Truman, commanders in chief and their families have been assigned security code names. Truman's was "General." Dwight Eisenhower was known as "Providence." And John F. Kennedy, perhaps suggesting a Camelot theme, was "Lancer." The Obama family recently received its new (and alliterative) names: "Renegade" (Barack), "Renaissance" (Michelle), "Radiance" (Malia) and "Rosebud" (Sasha). Vice President-elect Joe Biden's security name is "Celtic." These not-so-secret names are chosen by officials at the White House Communications Agency, which was not inclined to comment on the selection process. In a previous news report, an agency spokesman said the names are assigned by "sheer whim." Thus Ronald Reagan became "Rawhide" and Rosalynn Carter "Dancer," Jacqueline Kennedy "Lace" and Caroline Kennedy "Lyric." Though not always perfectly fitting the individual, the White House Communications Agency does a commendable job generating names that carry a certain grace or gravitas, unlike, say, the meteorologists who name hurricanes. Of course anything is a step up from the generic names: POTUS (President of the United States); FLOTUS (First Lady of the United States); and the barely pronounceable VPOTUS (Vice President of the United States). And even the lesser characters in and around the White House get special names. Press Secretary Scott McClellan was known as "Matrix." Kennedy buddy Frank Sinatra had his own code name: "Napoleon." Pope John Paul II was "Halo." Then there are the fictional political characters from the long-running television show "The West Wing." First daughter Zoey Bartlet was dubbed "Bookbag," while Dee Dee Myers-like White House spokeswoman C.J. Cregg was "Flamingo." President Jed Bartlet--the greatest fake president of our time--was known at different times as "Eagle" and "Liberty." Fictionalized or real, the very idea of code names swings open the door to comedy. On David Letterman's show in 1993, Al Gore read a Top 10 list of good things about being vice president. No. 1: "Your Secret Service code name: 'Buttafuoco'!" And in the years since, Gore has repeatedly quipped about being so boring that his Secret Service code name is "Al Gore." During this year's campaign, Jay Leno mocked some of Sarah Palin's foot-in-mouth moments by saying: "It's gotten so bad her Secret Service code name is now 'Joe Biden.' " (Palin's code name actually was "Denali.") And Conan O'Brien said this about Obama: "They say that Barack Obama has been successful in politics because he's a black man who doesn't make white people feel threatened. Yeah, which explains Obama's Secret Service code name: Al Roker." rhuppke@tribune.com <END QUOTE> Best Regards in Research, Don Don Roberdeau U.S.S. John F. 15. Good Day.... FYI.... <QUOTE> Leppert launches Dealey Plaza improvements in Dallas 08:18 PM CDT on Thursday, October 30, 2008 By DAVID FLICK / The Dallas Morning News dflick@dallasnews.com Working a lever from the back of a batch truck, Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert on Thursday poured six yards of concrete along Dealey Plaza, officially launching a $840,000 renovation of the city’s most famous — and, internationally, infamous — public space. When the renovation is completed in December, it will freshen up the 60-year-old esplanade along Houston Street on the plaza, the place where the city was born, where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated and which has since become one of the state’s most heavily trafficked tourist attractions. Though the renovations will be taking place during the 45th anniversary of the assassination next month, a spokeswoman for the adjacent Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza said officials there expected little impact on museum attendance or on the traditional impromptu commemoration on the nearby grassy knoll. The renovation project was envisioned as part of a city master plan for downtown, which seeks to expand and improve park space in the Central Business District. Funds came from two city bond programs and from a $200,000 grant from Downtown Dallas. The project’s scope includes repainting surfaces, re-piping the fountain and replacing the sidewalks. Various speakers at Thursday brief ceremony noted the plaza’s central role in the history of Dallas. The city’s founder, John Neely Bryan, built his home there, and Dallas’ first school, courthouse and fraternal lodge were all built nearby. The plaza as it now appears dates to 1941, the centennial of the city’s founding, when it was named after George Bannerman Dealey, longtime publisher of The Dallas Morning News. For years it served as the western gateway to downtown, intended to impress visitors with the importance of a growing, progressive city. The city’s image and that of Dealey Plaza was abruptly altered on Nov. 22, 1963, when Lee Harvey Oswald shot President Kennedy from a perch on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository on the plaza’s northern edge. In 1993, the plaza was designated a National Historic Landmark. Although Mr. Leppert is a former CEO of the Turner construction company, he said he had never poured concrete until Thursday morning’s ceremonies. “The trick, I’m told, is not to push the lever too hard or too fast,” he said. Actually, when he pulled the lever, nothing at all happened at first — that’s because the truck was only lightly loaded for the largely ceremonial pouring, employees said. After a few minutes, the concrete rumbled out of the chute and into the reinforced sidewalk form. The construction guys gave the mayor their professional endorsement. “He did good. We’d hire him,” said Chris Quentin, vice president of Axis Contracting, which is rebuilding the sidewalk. His Honor laughed when he heard the comment. “It’s good to know that if this job doesn’t work out, I’ve got a backup,” he said. What: Dealey Plaza restoration project Details: —Strip old paint —Patch cracks —Cover with high-tech coatings —Replace pipe on fountain basins —Replace sidewalks and curbs Construction: Now through December Cost: $843,000 Financing: $200,000 from private Downtown Dallas association; rest from 2003, 2006 city bond programs SOURCE: City of Dallas <END QUOTE> Reference: http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dw....1634390ed.html Best Regards in Research, Don Don Roberdeau U.S.S. 17. ....Good Day Jim.... Writer A.C. GREENE, the editor of the "Dallas Times Herald" newspapers "People's Forum" column in 1963 and 1964, has stated for the record that the DMN received $241,000 from readers in donations for MARINA OSWALD. $243,000 in donations was received for MARIE TIPPIT. GREENE stated he gave their donations to each of them. 44 years later, in 2007 dollars, according to this inflation calculator.... http://www.westegg.com/inflation/ ....each of those amounts for MARIE and MARINA would be over $1,615,000 in 2007 dollars. (kinda' makes you think about actually planning, investing smartly, and saving/growing some retirement ca$h, ayyyye?!! If I remember correctly, the DPD also received donations of a near equal amount. (probably mostly for TIPPIT's wife) For MARIE TIPPIT, another $25,000 (around $167,000 in 2007 dollars) was given to her by ABRAHAM ZAPRUDER. Best Regards in Research, Don Don Roberdeau U.S.S. 18. Good Day.... Congratulations Stu and the Team For everyone's info.... http://media-newswire.com/release_1071753.html The study is available for everyone, here.... http://www.e-publications.org/ims/submissi...onfirm=a5d03c25 <QUOTE> Researchers Win Prestigious Award For JFK Study (Media-Newswire.com) - Three Texas A&M University researchers whose work determined that evidence used to rule out a second shooter in the 1963 assassination of United States President John F. Kennedy was fundamentally flawed have been recognized with a prestigious national award. Dr. Cliff Spiegelman and Dr. Simon J. Sheather, professors of statistics in the Texas A&M Department of Statistics, and Dr. William D. James, a research chemist with the Texas A&M Center for Chemical Characterization and Analysis ( CCCA ), were honored by the American Statistical Association ( ASA ) with its 2008 Statistics in Chemistry Award, which recognizes outstanding collaborative endeavors between statisticians and chemists. Also sharing in the award for their roles in the joint project: William A. Tobin, former Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI ) agent and forensic scientist; D. Max Roundhill, former head of the Department of Chemistry at Washington State University and a current consultant with Austin-based Chem Consulting; and Stuart Wexler, a humanities and advanced placement government instructor at Highstown High School in New Jersey. The award, which includes a $2,000 cash prize, was presented to team members for their paper, “Chemical and Forensic Analysis of JFK Assassination Bullet Lots: Is a Second Shooter Possible?” published in Annals of Applied Statistics in 2007. In challenging the evidence for the lone-gunman theory, the team conducted a chemical and forensic analysis of bullets reportedly derived from the same batch as those used by suspected Kennedy assassin Lee Harvey Oswald. Using new compositional analysis techniques not available in the 1960s, the team determined that the bullet fragments involved in the assassination are not nearly as rare as previously reported, leading to the recommendation that the bullet fragments be reanalyzed. The selection committee for the award, which is sponsored by the Chemometrics Committee of the ASA Section on Physical and Engineering Sciences ( SPES ), lauded the Texas A&M-led team for general excellence in all aspects, from choice of subjects to methodology. “This is an exemplary paper,” the committee stated. “The subject is of interest to a large audience, and the research was done carefully, with all the steps clearly described. It truly demonstrates a powerful statistics application in the chemistry area with a good combination of statistics and chemistry expertise.” Sheather accepted the award earlier this month on the group’s behalf as part of the 168th annual Joint Statistical Meetings, held August 3-7 in Denver. As the largest gathering of statisticians in North America, it is held jointly with the ASA, the International Biometric Society ( ENAR and WNAR ), the Institute of Mathematical Statistics and the Statistical Society of Canada and attended by more than 5,000 people. Founded in Boston in 1839, the ASA is the nation’s preeminent professional statistical society and includes 18,000 members serving in academia, govern me nt, and industry and the public. 19. Good Day.... FYI.... <QUOTE> US official: Colorado men no true threat to Obama AP Posted: 2008-08-26 21:42:34 By KRISTEN WYATT and LARA JAKES JORDAN Associated Press Writers DENVER (AP) - A group of suspected drug users arrested in Denver this weekend with methamphetamine, guns and bulletproof vests made racist threats against Barack Obama but posed no true danger to the presidential candidate who arrives here later this week to accept the Democratic presidential nomination, federal authorities said Tuesday. The three men - all said to be high on methamphetamine when arrested - are the subject of an assassination investigation, but so far, authorities say, it appears they had no capacity to carry out any attack on Obama. "The law recognizes a difference between a true threat - one that can be carried out - and the reported racist rantings of a drug addict," U.S. Attorney Troy Eid said. He said the men's plans were "more aspirational, perhaps, than operational." The three have been charged with drug and weapons offenses but not with threatening to assassinate Obama or with other national-security-related crimes. Obama will become the first black nominee for president by a major U.S. political party at this week's convention. Eid insisted that the vague racist threats from the men would continue to be investigated. He said he did not know whether Obama had been briefed on the arrests or whether security plans would change for Obama's acceptance speech Thursday. An affidavit released by Eid's office Tuesday showed the investigation into alleged threats intensified with an unnamed female who was with the men - Tharin Gartrell, 28; Shawn Robert Adolf, 33; and Nathan Johnson, 32 - while they were doing drugs in a Denver hotel room last weekend. The woman told police the men were using a racial epithet to refer to Obama and saying he should not live in the White House. Johnson later told a federal agent that the men talked about assassinating Obama only because he was black, according to a federal arrest affidavit. Johnson said he also heard Adolf say that he wanted to kill Obama "on the day of his inauguration" and that he would "find high ground to set up and shoot Obama," the affidavit said. Eid said authorities determined there was no firm plot to harm Obama. Asked what else they could plan to do with the weapons, Eid said, "I don't know what they were for." "A bunch of meth heads get together, we don't know why they do what they do. ... People do lots of stupid things on meth," Eid said. "If you're talking about a true threat, there has to be some evidence they're not just talking about it or thinking about it, especially in a drug-induced state." Homeland Security officials say the biggest domestic terrorism threat to the presidential conventions would be a "lone wolf" - someone who sympathizes with white supremacists and is inspired by racist beliefs, according to an Aug. 22 intelligence assessment obtained by The Associated Press. In an AP interview last week, the head of the Secret Service's Protective division said the white supremacist threat to Obama has been exaggerated. "I think that it's something that, at times, the media tried to make more of," Nick Trotta said. "We've always watched them, as we watch all the other groups." Gartrell was arrested after police in Aurora, a suburb east of Denver, stopped a truck that was swerving erratically around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. He had a suspended driver's license, and the truck was rented under someone else's name, said Aurora police Detective Marcus Dudley. Aurora police Lt. Bob Stef said police found two scoped rifles, two wigs, camouflage clothing, a bulletproof vest and two walkie-talkies in the truck. A search also revealed 4.4 grams of what police believed to be methamphetamine and three IDs in other people's names, Stef said. Johnson and Adolf were arrested at area hotels after police interviewed Gartrell. Adolf jumped out a sixth-story window when police arrived Sunday. He broke his ankle but tried to run before police found him a short distance away. Adolf was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of body armor by a violent felon and possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, according to a criminal complaint filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Denver. Gartrell and Johnson were charged with simple possession of meth, meaning the amount involved was less than 5 grams, and Johnson also was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Three senior FBI officials said that at least two of the men may have had white supremacist ties. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the case. A fourth federal official familiar with the investigation said an assassination attempt was unlikely. "The capability and their opportunity and what they had for their weaponry - I don't see that they would have been able to carry it out," the official said on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing. Adolf was hospitalized and held on $1 million bond for several outstanding warrants involving drug charges. He was on the "Most Wanted" list of the Weld County, Colorado, sheriff's department for burglary, larceny, aggravated motor vehicle theft and other charges. Gartrell, who has no known address, was being held at the Arapahoe County jail on $50,000 bail on drug and weapons charges. The jail said he was due in court Thursday. Eid would not describe the woman who was allegedly doing drugs with the men or say whether she was charged with a crime. Law enforcers were also investigating whether the men were linked to vandalism shootings that targeted at least two federal buildings in Denver over the past two weeks. Windows were shot at the U.S. Custom House and the U.S. Military Entrance Processing Station on the same street in Denver's downtown Federal District. Additionally, a bullet was recovered from a Hertz rental car that was hit Aug. 15, and authorities are now looking to see whether it could have matched the guns seized from the men. Lara Jakes Jordan reported from Washington. Associated Press writers P. Solomon Banda in Denver, Eileen Sullivan in Washington and Ken Ritter in Las Vegas contributed to this report. <END QUOTE> Best Regards in Research, Don Don Roberdeau U.S.S. John F. All are being held on either drug or weapons charges. CBS4 Investigator Brian Maass reported one of the suspects told authorities they were "going to shoot Obama from a high vantage point using a ... rifle … sighted at 750 yards." Law enforcement sources tell Maass that one of the suspects "was directly asked if they had come to Denver to kill Obama. He responded in the affirmative." The story began emerging Sunday morning when Aurora police arrested 28-year-old Tharin Gartrell. He was driving a rented pickup truck in an erratic manner according to sources. Sources told CBS4 police found two high-powered, scoped rifles in the car along with camouflage clothing, walkie-talkies, wigs, a bulletproof vest, a spotting scope, licenses in the names of other people and 44 grams of methamphetamine. One of the rifles is listed as stolen from Kansas. Aurora police alerted federal officials because of heightened security surrounding the Democratic convention, Dudley said. "Clearly we found there are federal implications -- otherwise we would not have notified them," Det. Marcus Dudley with Aurora police said. "The weapons clearly would cause great concern." Subsequently authorities went to the Cherry Creek Hotel to contact an associate of Gartrell's. But that man, identified as Shawn Robert Adolph, 33, who was wanted on numerous warrants, jumped out of a sixth floor hotel window. Law enforcement sources say Adolph broke an ankle in the fall and was captured moments later. Sources say he had a handcuff ring and was wearing a swastika, and is thought to have ties to white supremacist organizations. A third man -- an associate of Gartrell and Adolph, Nathan Johnson, 32, was also arrested. He told authorities that the two men "planned to kill Barack Obama at his acceptance speech." Johnson, along with his girlfriend, Natasha Gromek, are also under arrest on drug charges. The Secret Service, FBI, ATF and the joint terrorism task force are all investigating the alleged plot. The U.S. Attorneys Office has scheduled a news conference for Tuesday afternoon. The U.S. Attorney in Denver said it does not believe there is a credible threat to Obama or the convention. "It's premature to say that it was a valid threat or that these folks have the ability to carry it out," said a U.S. government official familiar with the investigation. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing. U.S. Attorney Troy Eid said the case was under investigation. "We're absolutely confident there is no credible threat to the candidate, the Democratic National Convention, or the people of Colorado," Eid said in a prepared statement. <END QUOTE> Best Regards in Research, Don Don Roberdeau U.S.S. 21. Good Day.... FYI....NOTE: President KENNEDY's last wave started at Z-170-171, while he was obscurred by the "magic-limbed-ricochet-tree" from *anyone* targeting him from the warrenatti-apologists, supposed, "lone nut" "sniper lair." I have contacted the author for his help to speak with Mrs. SMITH. There are several women witnesses along the Elm Street north curbstone who are yet to be identified. http://rffm.typepad.com/republicans_for_fa...assination.html <QUOTE> August 23, 2008 Conspiracy Sunday: Eyewitness to the Kennedy Assassination "In Her Own Words" by Dodi Smith The following is a never before told interview featuring a first hand account of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. The interview was conducted by Daniel Zanoza, Executive Director, RFFM.org EDITOR'S NOTE: Dodi Smith is a grandmother who resides somewhere in Texas. For obvious reasons, which will be revealed in her answers, we have taken every attempt to respect her wishes for privacy. Mrs. Smith may consider answering some of the comments that may be posted after her story on RFFM.org. Q. In 1963, John F. Kennedy planned a political trip to Texas. Political advisors told him he needed to shore up his support in Texas because there were very powerful people who didn't care for his presidency, to put it lightly. How long before November 22nd did you know the President was coming to Dallas? And, if you can recall, how did you learn he would be there? Was it common knowledge? A. Before we begin answering questions, Dan, let me say this: this was a day I will remember all of my life. It remains in my mind as though it happened yesterday. It was a day that began with such joy and suddenly the whole nation was saddened, not just Dallas and the Texas civilization. I first heard the President was coming to Dallas thru the radio, and then reading the Dallas Morning Star approximately a week before President Kennedy came. And, like most people, I talked with others in the east Texas town I was living in at the time. I was overjoyed to think that our President was coming to Texas, to actually meet the people and be a part of this state for a day. Q. What was the political atmosphere in Dallas regarding President Kennedy? It was common knowledge there was an underlining mistrust towards the Kennedy administration by some. Was this negative feeling towards Kennedy palpable or has this been overplayed over the years in your opinion? A. You know as well as I do that there is always a mistrust between the two parties that run this country, there are always rumors of discourse one way or another in these groups. One trying to out do and smear the work of the other, but among the people there was very little discourse. Everyone you came in contact with from east Texas to far west Texas were talking about how wonderful it was that the President was coming to Texas and they would be able to see him in person. I truly think this negative feeling toward the Kennedy administration had been overplayed to the public and used to further the discourse between parties. Q. On the day Kennedy visited Dallas, one of the major Dallas newspapers featured a full page ad with a "Wanted" poster which presented John Kennedy as a criminal of the state. Did you see this ad? A. I personally did not see this ad, I believe it ran in publication in the Dallas Morning Star. But it was common knowledge that this paper was a Republican-orientated paper and, remember, President Kennedy was a Democrat...so let your imagination run on this. I do know that people, the common man and woman on the street who saw it and talked with me, were quite upset that a prominent paper would run such an ad as this. I believe they ran it under the heading of "TREASON"...and, Mr., that is going a little too far, even in the political world, if there is no proof. Q. You obviously knew the route of the motorcade. This information has played a significant role in the debate over whether there was a conspiracy to murder the President. Do you recall how and when you found out about the motorcade route? A. I am not sure after 40+ years I remember how or when I learned of the motorcade route. I do remember that before I left my east Texas home near Tyler I had learned that the route was to be down Main Street to the Stemmons Freeway, only when I got there it was common knowledge that it had been changed and now would be going down Main Street to Houston, past the Court House, making a right for a short distance, then a left onto Elm Street and past the Texas Book Depository Building, right near that turn. I heard some saying they had decided to re-route the motorcade as you could not get onto Stemmons Freeway off Main, which amazed us all. Why? Because it was not true, it was an easy exit off Main to Stemmons. If this was not common knowledge of the change, then why was there so many people on Elm Street and the Grassy Knoll...have to use your imagination on this I would presume. Q. Where were you waiting in preparation for the arrival of the Presidential motorcade? A. I was on the Grassy Knoll to the right of the Book Building, in front of the Stockyard Fence. Many people were gathered here, it was like sardines packed in a can, children were playing, adults were talking, awaiting the time to see the President and the First Lady, explaining to their children how this would be a day in history, if only they had known at that time how important a part of our history it would become, I often wonder what they would have been explaining. Q. What was the atmosphere in Dealey Plaza? Were people excited about the President's coming? Was there a big crowd? Did you feel anything in the air that wasn't positive? A. You know I am always surprised at that question about the atmosphere or reading about it in some paper that is recalling the visit. I saw no negative reaction to this visit, people were smiling, happy, talking about how wonderful it was to think that the President was here in Texas. Many had come from far away West Texas, Houston, The Big Bend country, some from Louisiana and Oklahoma, and each showed excitement, not unrest. The streets were lined with people, many shoulder to shoulder. There just was no negative feelings I saw or felt at the time, just pure joy and happiness. Q. Tell RFFM.org readers what you thought when you first saw the presidential motorcade coming down Houston Street before the motorcade turned down Elm Street, and headed past the Texas School Book Depository. A. Through my binoculars I saw the motorcade with the police escort turn off Houston Street onto Elm Street, knowing it had first come from Main Street to Houston where it made its first right hand turn, then left onto Elm from Houston. It came past the Texas School Book Depository Building, coming to the Grassy Knoll to the right of the building. Q. Did anything strike you as unusual, before there were any obvious problems? If so, please elaborate. A. I saw no obvious problems, the motorcade was moving along very nicely, at a slow rate of speed, the President was waving, as was Mrs. Kennedy and the Governor and Ms. Nell, all smiles on their faces. The Secret Service car and men were right there with them and a couple or three cars further down was Vice-President and Mrs. Johnson, smiling and waving to the many crowds who were whistling and waving. Q. Some say when Kennedy's motorcade turned left onto Elm Street, the Secret Service fell behind in their effort to protect the occupants of the limousine. We know the "bubble top" was off the car. Did the Secret Service seem to fall away from the Presidential vehicle? A. Let me answer it this way: If the Secret Service fell behind on this turn, how was it that they were the first to get to Mrs. Kennedy as she realized her husband was hurt and we saw her crawl over the back of the car pulling one of the men into the car, immediately after the President had been shot. Dan, they were right there where they were supposed to be. Remember, President Kennedy was not shot at as he passed the Book Depository Building, he was shot in front of the Grassy Knoll past the building a good many feet. I have never understood how "high up" people keep pushing the point he was shot as he passed the Depository, he was not. He definitely was shot at the grassy knoll. Q. What was the first indication you had that something was wrong? A. I heard screams behind me and sounds like gunshots, then a whizzing sound as something passed close by me. I turned and look behind me at the Stockyard Fence where it seemed to becoming from. I quickly turned back to the motorcade and saw our President jerk his head backwards and then to the left toward Mrs. Kennedy, and the next thing I saw was Mrs. Kennedy trying to pull a Secret Service man into the car from over the back of their car. Then the police escort pulled away fast and moved the motorcade at a fast rate of speed towards town. We, on the knoll, just stood there in shock, wandering what was going on. Why were shots being fired from behind us. Q. Did you actually see the President take any of the shots that eventually led to his death? A. At the time, Dan, I was not sure what I heard or saw. First, it was the sound of guns being fired, remember, I am a country raised girl, familiar with guns and rifles, and then the President seeming to jerk backwards and then to the left, Mrs. Kennedy pulling him down. Like everyone else I was not sure what was going on, I only know the motorcade speeded up immediately and was gone, out of site, and Secret Service men were covering the Vice-President and Mrs. Johnson as they sped by. Q. RFFM.org readers know this must be hard on you. But, in our phone conversation, you told me you saw President Kennedy's wife, Jackie, doing something as the motorcade was passing directly in front of you. What was she doing? A. As the motorcade passed in front of us on the knoll, Mrs. Kennedy had pulled the president down in the back and was climbing over the back of the car to help a Secret Service man into it. She was desperately pulling him. Q. In general, what was going on in Dealey Plaza directly after the motorcade started to speed up and head towards Parkland Hospital? Was there confusion? Were people in fear? Were you in fear? Did those present know the President had been shot at? A. As we saw the motorcade speed up and Mrs. Kennedy climbing over the backseat to help pull the Secret Service man in, we were asking each other what was going on. Were those shots we heard behind us, the same we felt and heard whizzing past? Had the President been shot from what we could see of his head in his wife's lap? I was using my binoculars and could see that there was blood and something coming from his head, and Mrs. Kennedy kept trying to push something back in. There was fear everywhere, you could actually smell it among the crowd. In my heart, I knew someone had tried to kill our President, I did not know how true my feelings would become. All I could think in my fear was why? And I am still asking that question 40 something years later. And I wonder why our government has turned its head away from so many of the details, and twisted and turned the event, until no one who wasn't there knows the truth of that day. It will live with me forever, and the fear I have of the government knocking on my door someday if they ever find out who I am. I will not be a part of the sham they have made of this investigation and their twisted details. Others who came forward have lived in disbelief of how our government has worked on this and the decisions they have made, so far from the truth of the happenings. Q. Did you hear any shots? And, if you did, could you tell with any certainty where they were coming from? A. Oh, yes. I heard two distinctive shots, one whizzing close by me. Those shots did not come from the depository building which was to the left of me, they came from behind me, from the Stockyard Fence. If I remember correctly, one of those shots hit the grassy knoll just in front of us. Q. Were people pointing or running to a certain area, after it was clear something had happened? A. All around me people had turned and were looking behind us, pointing toward the fence and were running to the left and right of the fence, as though they were trying to get out of the site of the firings. I know one man was injured from flying debris or something from one of the shots. I never knew who he was, though. Q. What was the reaction of the police you saw? Did they seem to have an idea of where the shots came from? A. The police acted immediately upon notification from the Secret Service and moved the motorcade out quickly. At the time, no one knew where the shots came from, but shortly afterwards cameras and film was being taken from people on that knoll. Q. Did you hear any more shots besides the ones that came from behind the fence bordering the grassy knoll? A. I distinctly heard two shots from behind me and they were not cars backfiring, there is a difference, if you know your guns, rifles and cars, and a sound like a third shot, but coming from a different direction, which I thought was coming directly across from the knoll. I have never been sure on that one, just that feeling of hearing it. Q. Were you questioned by any authorities on November 22nd 1963 in Dallas' Dealey Plaza? Did you see anyone else being questioned? A. No, Dan, I have never been questioned by the authorities. I have made myself as little known to them about this as possible, for I do not trust them or their findings on this matter. I had at one time thought of coming forward until I saw and read of their negative reaction to those who did, and how the events were being twisted and turned, as though they were making a movie and changing the scenario to fit their screen. I did not see anyone being questioned that day as I left, but I did see men taking cameras and film from the people. Q. You said the authorities were confiscating cameras and film from people around you. Besides your binoculars, did you bring a camera with you? Many witnesses claim they never got their cameras back and, if they did, their film was missing. Do you have any first hand stories about this? A. I did see the cameras and films being taken, as I stated previously, but I never had first hand knowledge and what developed after that. I had failed to take my camera that day, only my binoculars. No one stopped me as I left the knoll. Q. How long did you stay in Dealey Center after the shooting of the President, Governor Connelly and a third man--who was standing somewhere near the viaduct which led to the expressway? A. I am not sure how long I did stay, Dan. I know that we milled around, talking in crowds, trying to figure out what was going on, then I left. I had to return to my east Texas town, get my children from school and pick up my three year old who was at the plant that day with his daddy, playing manager with him. My husband managed a plant in our town and offered to keep our son with him so I could go to Dallas for this event. Q. It was obviously a traumatic day for you and the rest of the country. Could you sum up your thoughts regarding what you saw on a day when America's future was changed? And could you add any information I may have failed to address here? A. It was indeed a traumatizing day, not only for me, but the whole world, Dan, and especially the United States. We had read of such things in history, but it just could not happen again in our world. Oh, how wrong we can look at things. It took me days to realize the chaos and confusion of our government in the previous assassinations that had been taught in history classes. To accept that this kind of hate, fear or whatever it was that caused this to happen in our country blew my mind. Where did it come from, what caused it, how did it start, when did it start and how did it lead to killing the President kept whirling in my mind. I still find myself asking these questions even now. WHY? I know in my heart it will happen again and again if this world continues as it is now. Will we ever know the truth or will the future accept the government's version as truth and let it go down in history as such? Why was Oswald murdered by Ruby so soon? How did Ruby, a known mobster in the Dallas area, get near enough to Oswald that day to murder him, while he was surrounded by detectives? Was it to stop the truth from ever being known? Dan, I wonder about these questions everyday of my life and, like most, I would like to know the reason our government has put such a spin on this assassination, so far from the truth of that day and its happening. My prayer now is that God will never let this happen, anywhere in the world. But in truth I know it will and nothing we do will stop it, and nothing we do will keep the government from taking over and make decisions that are so different than the actions. It has made me distrust our structure of leadership in this country. The questions never go away. And I wonder, at the age of 75, will I live to see this happen again and I pray not. I have to admit it has not been easy reliving that day like this, even if I do live it everyday of my life these past 40+ years. I just want the country to know the truth, but the government is not going to let it and it makes you wonder why. Was there a conspiracy? We will never know, but all true facts do point to that, don't they? <END QUOTE> Best Regards in Research, Don Don Roberdeau U.S.S. John F. Kennedy's assassination and explores the intersection of stories and memories and how they represent and mythologize that defining moment in history. Jackie's story is interwoven with the stories of real people intimately connected with that day: a man who shares cigarettes with Jackie outside the trauma room; a motorcycle policeman flanking the motorcade; Abe Zapruder, who caught the assassination on film; the White House servants waiting for Jackie to return; and the morticians overseeing President Kennedy’s autopsy.
