"Just last week it was reported that an illegal adlinthin-- and you just look at this, what's happening," he said Saturday.

Journalist Bill Grueskin chimed in on that one.

"Hmm. That sounded more like 'adledirthin' than 'adlinthin' which if true kind of changes everything," he wrote.

Yeah. I'd hate to be an illegal whatchamajigger too. Just look at what's happening.

  2. New 'red flags' raised over Trump's bond money after link to Grand Caymans revealed

by Tom Boggioni April 12, 2024

    https://www.rawstory.com/trump-fraud-bond-2667753290/

It’s impossible to know if the insurance company backing Trump’s bond actually has the money, and if Trump loses on appeal, New York State may never be able to recover it.

In the words of one industry expert, “This whole bond issue stinks to high heaven”.

  3. - Donald Trump -

"On Monday I will be forced to sit, GAGGED, before a HIGHLY CONFLICTED & CORRUPT JUDGE, whose hatred for me has no bounds," Trump posted. "All of these New York and D.C. 'Judges' and Prosecutors have the same MINDSET. Nobody but this Soros Prosecutor, Alvin Bragg, wanted to take this ridiculous case. All legal scholars say it is a sham. BIDEN’S DOJ IS RUNNING THE CASE. Just think of it, these animals want to put the former President of the United States (who got more votes than any sitting President!), & the PARTY’S REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE, IN JAIL, for doing absolutely nothing wrong. It is a RUSH TO THE FINISH. SO UNFAIR!"

My, oh my. Getting a little testy are we?

    Animals.

  4. "Bloomberg reported this week that TMTG (Trump Media and Technology Group - the one that owns Truth Social) said in recent filings that it will keep the BF Borgers accounting firm as its auditor."

    https://www.rawstory.com/trump-auditor-100-percent-deficiency/

"Bloomberg said this Colorado-based firm has a history of being flagged for failures in its auditing, including a "100% deficiency rate" in audits reviewed by the U.S. watchdog, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) in the past two years."

Well, of course they're going to keep them.

  5. Georgia Woman Goes On Highway Shooting Spree, Says God Told Her To Because Of Eclipse: Police

A 22-year-old woman was arrested by Florida Highway Patrol after shooting two drivers on Monday.

BONIFAY, Fla. (AP) — “A woman checked out of a Florida hotel and told staff that she was going on a God-directed shooting spree because of the solar eclipse, then shot two drivers on Interstate 10 before being arrested and charged with attempted murder Monday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. “

“Troopers stopped the woman after she drove for about 16 miles (26 kilometers) and found her with an AR-15 rifle and 9mm handgun.”

I don't know why they stopped her. MTG told everybody that God was talking to us through the eclipse.

  7. 'Set things straight': Chilling poll shows how far Republicans are willing to go

    by D. Earl Stephens

    April 7, 2024

    https://www.rawstory.com/violence-gop/

"A majority of Republicans believe the country needs a leader to break some rules to get it back on track, and some 3 in 10 Republicans go so far as to say Americans may have to resort to violence in order to set things straight.

If 3 and (sic) 10 Republicans believe Americans may have to resort to violence “to set things straight” we are talking about roughly 20 million Americans who feel this way.

Trump got slightly more than 74,000,000 votes in 2020. Thirty percent of that number would roughly work out to 20+ million.

Twenty million-plus people who think we need violence “to set things straight ...”

And what does “set things straight” even mean? I’ll let you decide that, but besides sounding thuggish, in my mind we are talking about returning to a time when white men ran every single bit of everything in this country, and by extreme force.

How many of these Republicans who see violence as a way “to set things straight” are cops? How many of these Republicans who see violence as a way “to set things straight” are in our military? How many of these Republicans who see violence as a way “to set things straight” are in our Congress? How many of these Republicans who see violence as a way “to set things straight” are moms and dads?

Have we become so gaslit and desensitized by the past eight years that we are willing to brush away terror like this as if it were just some pesky gnat buzzing around our heads?

Do we still somehow think we are immune from the lawlessness and violence that has destroyed other countries right in front of our eyes?

Tens of millions of Americans, many of whom have stockpiled a significant portion of the 450 million guns in this country, believe violence is a way “to set things straight” if things don’t work out for them in November.

    God help us"

  8. This could get real interesting.

Donald Trump's $175 million bond paperwork in the NY fraud case was returned to him.

He hadn't submitted a current financial statement, and his lawyer hadn't signed the paperwork.

Would you want to put your name on anything attesting to the truthfulness of anything Donald Trump said about his finances?

Trump may forced to publicly reveal the true state of his finances.

  9. Investors plead guilty to insider trading in Trump Media deal

by Brad Reed April 3, 2024

    https://www.rawstory.com/trump-media-2667675059/

"Michael and Gerald Shvartsman admitted in court that they received confidential, inside information about an upcoming merger between DWAC and Trump Media and used that information to make profitable, but illegal, open-market trades,"

"According to the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, the two men "bought millions of dollars of DWAC securities on the open market before the news of the Trump Media business combination was public" and even "tipped others about the upcoming merger, inducing further trades in DWAC securities on the basis of the MNPI they had obtained subject to their non-disclosure agreement and through their associate’s board seat."

"Trump Media first went public last week and sparked a wave of speculative investment that saw the firm's market cap rise to over $8 billion before its shares crashed on Monday when it released a financial report showing that the company lost $58 million over the last fiscal year on revenues of just over $4 million."

    I'm shocked, I tell you.

    Just shocked.

  10. - Donald Trump -

"Because Joe Biden has brought the carnage, chaos and killing from all over the world and dumped it straight into our backyards."

He vowed to stop the "plunder, rape, slaughter and destruction of our American suburbs, cities and towns," comments he reiterated in Wisconsin.

Excuse me for a moment, while I go look out the window.

Huh. Didn't see much carnage and slaughter and bloodbath going on outside. Must be happening down the street.

  11. Donald Trump has paid the $175 million to secure his assets from being seized in the fraud case while he appeals the verdict.

The money was fronted by Knight Specialty Insurance Co., which is owned by Don Hankey, the "so-called king of sub-prime car loans", i.e. a used car salesman.

Don Hankey is believed to be the largest shareholder of Axos Bank.

Axos Bank holds the mortgage on Trump Tower and Trump National Doral.

$100 million for Trump Tower and $125 million for Doral.

    My question.

How did Trump get away with concealing the $58 million Truth Social annual loss (from 2022-23) before the company went public last week?

Aren't there SEC regulations to prevent these kind of stock scams?

    W.,

It primarily has to do with the merger with this Digital Acquisitions Group.

Tharre's a good explanation in this AP story:

Get a load of that Board of Directors.

    https://apnews.com/article/trump-media-truth-social-spac-vote-841820869418c37ad7eed04f2af42854
Shareholders of Digital World Acquisition Corp., a publicly traded shell company, approved a deal to merge with the Trump’s media business in a Friday vote.
'Many of Digital World’s investors are small-time investors who are either fans of Trump or trying to cash in on the mania, instead of big institutional and professional investors. Those shareholders helped the stock more than double this year in anticipation of the merger going through. But on Friday, the shares lost almost 14%."

"Ahead of Friday’s approval, Digital World’s regulatory filings listed many of the risks its investors face, as well as those of the Truth Social owner once Trump Media also goes public."
"When a publicly traded shell company agrees to buy a private company, the target company takes its place on a stock exchange once the combination is approved by shareholders."

"DWA’s shareholders also voted Friday to approve a slate of seven people, including the former president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., to hold seats on Trump Media’s board. Among the others are former Republican Rep. Devin Nunes, who would also be the company’s CEO; Robert Lighthizer, who served as Trump’s U.S. trade representative; Linda McMahon, who ran the Small Business Administration under Trump; and, Kashyap “Kash” Patel, a White House national security aide during the Trump administration."

A plunge into the public market means Trump’s social media business will soon have to disclose more details.
Private companies are accountable to their owners, while public ones are accountable to the shareholders who own the company’s stock. Once public, Trump Media will be required to report its quarterly finances as well as other material news to federal regulators.

The shareholders said, "Go ahead. We don't care."

Now, when they lose their life's savings, and a small group of investors make a killing short selling, they might.

  13. Truth Social shares go into freefall after investors learn how much money it really makes

by Brad Reed April 1, 2024

    https://www.rawstory.com/truth-social-stock-price/

“Investors on Monday got their first peak at the financials of the Trump Media & Technology Group, the owner of the Truth Social platform — and they did not like what they saw.

Shares in the firm plummeted by more than 15 percent in the hours after it released its financial statement, thus shaving billions of dollars off its market cap.

As of noon on Monday, the shares were trading in the $51 range, after having closed at just under $62 the previous trading day.”

“Given that Trump Media reported a net loss of $58 million last year on revenues of just over $4 million, the firm's current price-earnings ratio is in negative territory,…”

“The Trump Media & Technology Group, the owner of the Truth Social platform, released new financial data on Monday showing that the company lost $58 million over the last year while posting revenues totaling just $4 million.”

That took less than a week.

All those Maga patriots who wanted to prove their loyalty and devotion are now losing their shirts.

  14. - This is how Donald Trump spent Easter Sunday -

And it's only the middle of the day.

    From Raw Story:

"Trump, who literally directed one "happy Easter" post to those he "despises" such as "corrupt" prosecutors and judges in his criminal cases, wrote dozens of posts earlier in the day. One report on Sunday stated that the ex-president spent "Easter Morning on a Social Media Bender — With Whopping 43 POSTS About Judge Engoron, Jon Stewart and More."

Political onlookers were also quick to point out the spree on social media."

  16. Donald Trump, while on his way to the funeral of a New York Policeman,  shared a video of a pickup truck flying Back the Blue flags, traveling down the highway with a mural of a kidnapped Joe Biden lying on his side bound with ropes.

Has anybody picked up on the irony here?

Is that what the police do in this country?

Kidnap people and thrown them in the back of pickup trucks?

Sounds like some kind of third-world dictatorship.
