  1. Perjury Plea Opens Up Trump Lawyers to Big Problems By Jose Pagliery Mar. 06, 2024 https://www.thedailybeast.com/allen-weisselbergs-perjury-plea-opens-up-trump-lawyers-to-big-problems?ref=home?ref=home “The fallout from Weisselberg’s plea deal on Monday could be severe for Trump attorneys Alina Habba, Clifford S. Robert, and their colleagues. It would also be a fitting follow-up to the stark warnings that Justice Arthur F. Engoron issued to Trump’s lawyers last month. While presiding over the three-month trial about Trump’s incessant lies to banks last year, Engoron considered Weisselberg an untrustworthy witness who couldn’t accurately recall his role as the company’s former chief financial officer. But on Feb. 1, when The New York Times reported that Weisselberg was secretly negotiating a perjury plea deal with the Manhattan District Attorney, Engoron immediately demanded that Trump’s lawyers explain if their witness was “now changing his tune, and whether he is admitting he lied under oath in my courtroom at this trial.” Notably, his Feb. 5 email pressed them to “submit, as officers of the court, a letter to me detailing anything you know about this that would not violate any of your professional ethics or obligations.” The choice of words was anything but ordinary.” New York’s rules of professional conduct command that “a lawyer shall not… knowingly use perjured testimony or false evidence.”” Steve Thomas
  2. Dictator Trump says he will give cops immunity to look at names and "take out" the "bad ones" (video) by Carla Sinclair 4:09 pm Mon Mar 4, 2024 https://boingboing.net/2024/03/04/dictator-trump-says-he-will-give-cops-immunity-to-look-at-names-and-take-out-the-bad-ones-video.html "Dictator Trump told Newsmax about his big plans to order mass deportations on Day One. Not only that, he will give police full immunity so that they can simply look at a person's name and decide whether or not to "take them out." "Day One, we have no choice," Trump said on The Chris Salcedo Show over the phone today. "And we'll start with the bad ones." "And you know who knows who they are?" he asked. "Local police. Local police have to be given back their authority and they have to be given back their respect and immunity. We're going to give them the immunity. And they know by the first name, the middle name and the last name, and they will take them out, and they will— we will get them out." Besides checking a person's last name, how Trump will determine which folks are the "bad ones" isn't clear. But in the end it won't matter. The good ones will be next. NEWSMAX: Will you order mass deportations if you win the White House? TRUMP: Oh, day one. We have no choice. And we'll start with the bad ones. “ Video: pic.twitter.com/7Ixwj1xJaN Steve Thomas
  3. Beware: Trump supporters getting conned with worthless currency https://nordot.app/1136727684694196800?c=592622757532812385 Have you heard of the Trump Rebate Banking System? "Supporters are told Trump Bucks will propel Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential bid and make the “real patriots” who support him rich when he wins and they can cash in. How would it work? According to NBC News, those who got duped believe Trump, when he is re-elected, will institute a new monetary system that will make Trump Bucks valuable: Those who buy these items, the ads from Patriots Dynasty, Patriots Future and USA Patriots suggest, will be rewarded when Trump unveils a new monetary system that will turn these products into legal tender worth far more than the purchase price." People have actually tried to go to their local bank and cash them. Trump. The Don of the MAGA Crime Family. Steve Thomas
  4. The new secret 'over the top' plan on how fascists could win in 2024 by Thom Hartmann February 28, 2024 https://www.rawstory.com/gop-2024-plan/ First, Republicans need to make sure they’re in control of the House of Representatives on January 6th, 2025, when the new president will be certified. To do that, even though Democrats might have won enough seats to take back the House in the 2024 election, Speaker Johnson will refuse to swear into Congress on January 3rd a handful of those Democrats, claiming there are “irregularities” in their elections that must be first investigated. Consider that Johnson is still refusing to swear in Tom Suozzi (who recently won George Santos’ old seat), something Johnson apparently did to maintain enough Republican-majority votes to impeach Alejandro Mayorkas. (Johnson says they’ll swear him in this coming Thursday, but nobody’s holding their breath.) That keeps Speaker “MAGA Moscow Mike” Johnson in charge of the House, so they can also refuse to accept the Electoral College certificates of election from a handful of states where they claim there are “problems.” Keep in mind, Johnson was the guy who organized the wave of 138 House members who voted not to certify Joe Biden’s election in January of 2020. That’s why Trump wanted him as speaker. Then, regardless of how many votes Biden won by, electoral or popular, the House simply refuses to certify the electoral college votes of enough states that the minimum of 270 isn’t reached. Under the 12th Amendment, like with the election of 1876, that throws the election to the House, where each state has one vote. Steve Thomas
  5. - Jesse Watters on Fox News - Alzheimer's patients like ic cream. Joe Biden likes ice cream. Therefore, Joe Biden has Alzheimer's. Logic, you just can't beat it. Steve Thomas
  6. Lara Logan: Christianity trumps Native Americans' beliefs because 'they just didn't win' by David Edwards February 27, 2024 https://www.rawstory.com/2667377021/ “Conservative journalist Lara Logan suggested Christian nationalism was more significant than the beliefs of Native Americans because white colonizers massacred them.” And Jesus wept. 7. Chris, If you read their accounts in Larry Sneed's, No More Silence, the motorcycle escort officers were in shock. If you look at Batchelor's Exhibit# 5002, on page 134, you will find all of these Solo Motorcyclists listed. They were in the Traffic Division, and their job title was Solo Motorcycle and Special Enforcement, Monthly Detail https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=1136#relPageId=152 Their duties had ended and didn't know what they were supposed to do. Several of them wound up guarding the hallway up on the third floor of the DPD Headquarters among the swarm of newsmen. I kind of felt sorry for them. They felt like their duty was to guard the President, and they had let him down, and then thy were thrown in this midst of this pushing, cursing mob. If you look at their faces in some of those pictures up on the third floor, they look kind of lost. (I think). Steve Thomas
  8. Pat, Yeah. It's spelled Gray in Batchelor's List of DPD Personnel. Steve
  9. Pat, P.S. You will find all these motorcycle guys in Batchelor's Exhibit# 5002. They were all in the Traffic Division, Solo Motorcycle and Special Enforcement Monthly Detail Page 134 of the Exhibit, page 17 of Batchelor's Report https://maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=1136#relPageId=152 You'll find them all there: Gray, Lumpkin, Ellis, Chaney, Hargis, Haygood, Baker, Dale, etc. Maybe you'll pick up a reference to Gray in some of their accounts. Steve Thomas
  10. Pat, There is an interview with fellow motorcycle officer, Bill Lumpkin at kenrahn.com https://kenrahn.com/JFK/History/The_deed/Sneed/Lumpkin.html This is one of the interviews in Larry Sneed's, No More Silence. He mentions Leon Gray several times. On at least two occasions, Lumpkin says that the lead motorcyclists were stopped on Elm St. between Houston and the underpass when the shots rang out. 11. Charlie Kirk Wants Coca-Cola to Sponsor Televised Executions https://www.thedailybeast.com/charlie-kirk-wants-coca-cola-to-sponsor-televised-executions?ref=home?ref=home “Turning Point USA CEO Charlie Kirk went beyond the pale this week, when he suggested on his ThoughtCrime podcast that the U.S. should embrace televised executions and force kids to watch them. Kirk said one of his problems with capital punishment is: “...It takes too long. Too many appeals. It’s too expensive. It should be public, it should be quick, it should be televised,” he said. “You could have it brought to you by Coca-Cola and no, I’m not kidding by the way, I would totally tune in to see some pedo get their head chopped off.” He then advocated for kids to be forced to watch it. “I think at a certain age, it’s an initiation,” he said.” I personally would like to see them bring back burning women at the stake. The executioner would be drinking a Coke while the flames and the screams lick higher. I’d stay up late to watch that. Steve Thomas
  12. Oklahoma Republican calls LGBTQ people 'filth' when asked about death of nonbinary student By Matthew Chapman February 23, 2024 "Sen. Tom Woods said that his heart went out to Benedict's family, but that regarding LGBTQ identity generally, "We are a religious state. We are going to fight to keep that filth out of the state of Oklahoma, because we’re a Christian state. We’re a rural state. We want to lower taxes, and for people to live and work, and to go to the faith they choose."" I'm a Christin by gum! 14. Fox host claims Black voters will back Trump because they 'love sneakers' by Sky Palma February 22, 2024 https://www.rawstory.com/gold-sneaker/ “The Big Weekend Show contributor, Raymond Arroyo discussed the $399 limited-edition shoes that Donald Trump promoted at Sneaker Con in Philadelphia on Saturday, saying Black people thought they were "cool." "This is connecting with Black America because they love sneakers," Arroyo said. "This a big deal, certainly in the inner city. So when you have Trump roll out his sneaker line, they're like, 'Wait a minute, this is cool.' He's reaching them on a level that defies and is above politics. The culture always trumps politics. And Trump understands culture like no politician I've ever seen." "Anybody willing to put 400 bucks down for a pair of sneakers? Yeah, I think that's commitment and love. It's something... it's affection," he added." um....... Steve Thomas
  15. The Republicans in Congress don't want the Government to work. They want a Government shutdown. They don't want to spend money on anything. You see, if you don't spend money on anything, you don't need all those taxes right? You can cut all those taxes, and you can eliminate all those pesky regulations, and You can do whatever the hell you want! Steve Thomas
  16. Right-wing host wants overthrow of democracy: ‘We didn’t get all the way there on Jan. 6’ By David Edwards February 21, 2024 https://www.rawstory.com/jack-posobiec-overthrow-democracy/ “Jack Posobiec, a right-wing host and activist, told a group of conservatives that their goal should be overthrowing democracy because they didn't get the job done on Jan. 6, 2021. At a Wednesday Conservative Political Action Conference event, Posobiec welcomed the audience as a panel session began with former White House strategist Steve Bannon. "All right, welcome, welcome, I just wanted to say welcome to the end of democracy," he announced. "We're here to overthrow it completely, we didn't get all the way there on January 6th, but we will endeavor to get rid of it and replace it with this right here, we'll replace it with this right here." Posobiec held up what appeared to be a necklace with a Christian cross pendant. "All right, amen!" Bannon exclaimed. "That's right, because all glory, all glory is not to government, all glory to God," Posobiec added. Allies of Donald Trump have said they are prepared to infuse "Christian nationalism" into the former president's 2024 campaign. Former Trump official Russell Vought is said to be spearheading the effort. "Christian nationalists in America believe that the country was founded as a Christian nation and that Christian values should be prioritized throughout government and public life," Politico reported on Tuesday. "As the country has become less religious and more diverse, Vought has embraced the idea that Christians are under assault and has spoken of policies he might pursue in response."” We’re about to have ourselves an old-fashioned religious war in 2024. Shades of the Middle Ages. Steve Thomas
  17. - George Washington, 1796 - “[Partisanship] serves always to distract the public councils and enfeeble the public administration. It agitates the community with ill founded jealousies and false alarms, kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection... [Parties] are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people, and to usurp for themselves the reins of government; destroying afterwards the very engines, which have lifted them to unjust dominion.” Steve Thomas
  18. Forget insurrection. Trump aiding the enemy is treason. By Sabrina Haake February 18, 2024 https://www.rawstory.com/raw-investigates/donald-trump-nato-russia-treason/ - To paraphrase - Since he invaded Ukraine in 2022, Vladimir Putin has threatened America and NATO with the use of nuclear weapons. Last week, Donald Trump encouraged Russia to “do whatever the hell they want” just as the American intelligence community was learning about Russia's potential nuclear capacity to disable American defense space satellites. Vladimir Putin is a wanted war criminal. This week, Putin poisoned his rival, Alexei Navalny with a KGB nerve agent Novichuk. The Russians are taking Donald Trump at his word. Steve Thomas

'Closest he'll get to any Air Force Ones': Trump ridiculed for 'hawking bootleg' sneakers by David McAfee 03/17/24 https://www.rawstory.com/trump-bootleg-sneakers-ridicule/ “The former president, who on Friday was ordered to pay hundreds of millions of dollars in a fraud case in New York, Saturday appeared in Pennsylvania to give a "surprise speech" in front of a backdrop advertising his "Trump sneakers."” “Obama appointee Eric Columbus said Saturday, "Trump just spoke at something called 'Sneaker Con' in Philly while promoting a website where he hawks $399 sneakers and $99 perfume."” O M G Steve Thomas
