  1. Looks clearly like Trump's Wag-The-Dog damage control propaganda teams are planting exaggerated diminishing and diverting fact bits and sound bites into the main stream media to effect the narrative of this violent seditious insurrection event being as criminally constitution and domestic tranquility violating important as it is.

The violent building attackers were just crazy fringe types that Trump has no control over. The Capital police just didn't think Trump's rally crowd could do something this violent and criminal. It's mostly the fault of the inept Capital police.

Trump waited hours ( even while watching the seige live on TV!) to react, because he thought the situation was under control already by normal security procedures ???  The mob was incited by nefarious democratic party sympathizing infiltrators. The entire action wasn't really as bad or important as the liberal press is making it out to be.

Impeachment of Trump is an impractical idea. This course of action is an overreaction and will not make it through to trial and especially conviction. Just let Trump be for the next 11 days. He'll be a good boy. And he really does feel bad about it all and truly does abhor violent demonstration.

Trump's blindly loyal cult base have their fearless leader defending talking points with these contrived road apple dropping exaggerated tid bit news plantings. But the growing majority of Americans aren't picking them up and saying "AH HA!" ... Trump isn't to blame here!

The first attempt to impeach Trump was primarily based on the Ukraine affair.

As valid as that reason was, this Capital building seige event makes the Ukraine affair seem like child's play in impeachment importance comparison.

If our legislative government bodies let these unprecedented most threatening highest crimes go unaddressed, or less addressed than the Ukraine impeachment effort, what would that say about their true respect for and belief in our Democratic principles/Constitutional foundation and the need ( and their bible sworn oath ) to protect and defend this most sacred tenent which this nation depends on for it's own liberty and justice for all existence?

If we don't pursue the highest indictments for these highest crimes against our nation and it's highest importance foundation...we will have allowed them and their perpetrators to inflict the highest damage possible without redress.

Now THAT would be the ULTIMATE FAILURE of leadership.

Impeach the bully ba$+ard who fomented it all!

  2. Former Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., echoed this concern. “What would happen if an impeachment proceeding started? His base would rally to his cause. And so, while I hear that, and certainly under the circumstances that type of discussion is warranted, the fact is all that would do is strengthen him,” Corker told a reporter.

Bob Corker is expressing the same excuse that has allowed Trump the power to get away with the outrageous things he has gotten away with. The fear of what Trump's whacked out, bullying violence minded base may do if an impeachment movement is pursued. Quit reacting to Trump's nutty base and your fear of them. Time to stand up to this mob which just violated our most sacred ground Capital building. IMPEACH the bully.

  3. Watching those crazy looking wild eyed Trump base intruders running all through the Capital building ( one half naked, heavily tatooed and wearing a bull horn head dressing, another waving a Confederate flag, many smashing and stealing things while laughing and shouting hysterically ) ... I couldn't help remembering some scenes in the film "One Flew Over The Cukoos Nest."

Or a Marx Brothers absurd humor anarchy movie.

Similar casting for this Trump inspired chaos theatrical performace.

This reported about Trump's weak speech yesterday... But the statement was late, and it came after "intervention from his daughter, Ivanka" according to one current White House official.

Trump had to be coaxed into giving this speech by his own daughter? He wasn't going to do this of his own volition?  Egads.

Ivanka must have told him something like...Daddy, we are all about to kicked out of office!   And we will go into the history books as the most screwed up Presidential family ever!

Please, get your "Pu$$y Grabbing A$$ out there and stop this madness!

Another comparison to the 1930s rise of fascism.

    from: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2021/jan/08/trump-homegrown-fascism-inequality-poverty  :

Tens of millions of the precariat were already living in a de facto Great Depression before the pandemic, and many working-class jobs will not return in the short term – if ever. This widening disparity creates a level of rage among voters that inexplicably continues to evade Beltway journalists’ understanding.

It’s not that difficult to grasp meaning. Just look to the past. I’ve long been a student of the 1930s – fascism was on the rise in the US throughout the Great Depression. It’s something that never went away; it’s part of the American DNA. Many of the 74 million who voted for Donald J Trump in 2020 would be quite happy with authoritarian leadership. They aren’t going to vanish with the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

    ...

In early 1939, a n a z i  rally at Madison Square Garden drew 20,000 people. The rising authoritarian movement was the subject of a 9,000-word 1940 Harper’s magazine article, The American Fascists, by Dale Kramer.

In the modern era, the Youngstown State labor studies professor John Russo recognized early that anger over the loss of good jobs was leading to a resurgence of fascism. When I interviewed him in 1995, he foresaw the emergence of a Trump-like figure. When I went through Ohio recently on my cross-country journey, John doubled down on his 1995 prediction; he feels that the threat from the far right will not abate. Trump lost “and the thing I say is, ‘So what?’ Right now we are at a tipping point in terms of what the American economy is going to look like, what the American social structures are going to look like,” Russo told me. “2024, that’s going to be the seminal election.”

Russo says there will be “contested terrain”, a fight between progressives and rightwing authoritarianism between now and 2024. If a smarter, more effective Trump comes along, he or she could eclipse the threat that Trump presented to American democracy.

Extremely coherent assessment and likely scenario for the following next years.

Our government leaders are seriously oblivious to how close to absolute financial collapse and bankruptcy tens and tens of millions of Americans and their families are...right now!

Just in my family alone, two of us three have lost their jobs due to the Covid and are living on 35% of their previous take home pay and this unemployment income will be gone in just a few more months to boot!

    This is real world REALITY!

    Right now...today.

For perhaps 1/4th "or even more" of our entire citizenry!

And these lost jobs and the incomes from them...are not coming back!

An honest true reality message to our federal and state goverment leaders...

    WAKE UP!

We ( 30 to 40% of the country ) are on the brink ( no, we are there!) of true, serious, family destroying financial collapse!

Like Democratic presidential primary candidate Andrew Yang strongly and seriously proposed...we are going to have to initiate a basic income monthly subsidy to all stressed Americans, until this devastation can be addressed and overcome which will take years.

Otherwise, like poster Bill Fite says, we are guaranteed civil unrest with fascist sentiments growing out of anger, fear and deep frustration.

If Germany and most of the German people hadn't been so devastatingly stressed and even crushed economically after WW I and into the thirties, the attraction to Hitler and his promises to bring them out of their dispiriting and humiliating plight wouldn't have been so appealing. And the more Hitler got Germany's economy and job situation improving, the more Germans fell under his spell.

Trump has constantly used this same ( I will improve your lives economically and I get things done and keep my promises ) Hitler type appeal format. And most of Trump's blindly loyal spell bound followers still proclaim him as their savior in this way.

Trump's signature propaganda sound bite..."Make America Great Again" perfectly matches Hitler's "Make Germany Great Again" political gain and control game plan and agenda.

  6. Was Hunt's on tape end of life "LBJ and CORD MEYER did it" story ( complete with his personal "hand written" connected dots of planning organization diagram ) and his own participation as a "benchwarmer" in "The Big Event" just another made up fantasy spy novel mind set creation?

Part of a plan by Hunt to give his son St. John something to make some financial security monies ( book and or movie deal?) that Hunt was unable to give him while alive, or even dead with no assets left of his own?   Maybe also an effort like this because of guilt over treating St. John Hunt with less than the most loving treatment and maybe even guilt over St.John Hunt's mother being taken away from him so brutally?

  7. My lifetime experience tells me that most of the people I have ever personally known who voluntarily chose to go into police, security, prison guard and national guard fields were much more right wing types than liberal or even moderately liberal in their political and even morality mindsets.

Most enlisted military service people who stay in more than the basic 4 year commitment, same thing.

I'll guarantee you that the huge majority of agency people are this way as well, and if registered with any political party, they are registered as Republican.

Hence,  it's logical and very possible in my mind, that a good number of security people all over the country and in DC are more aligned with the Trump base mind set and would be more sympathetic to their worked up, Trump conspiracy believing cause versus a democratic party liberal one.

The fact that some of the security people in the Capital building were actually participating in selfie photo ops with these crazy intruders bolsters the possibility that some may have been in on the sketchy resistance break- in event, again imo.

Watched Trump's stiff, muted and even robotic speaking speech yesterday where he weakly conceded defeat and called for a peaceful transition.

You could so easily tell he was reading these teleprompter lines ( totally written by his damage control team ) with inner disdain and reluctance.

Trump was obviously told ( frantically ) that his standing as president is on the brink of removal and that he had better get in front of the national media cameras and at least try to convey some message other than enraging his base with claims of Democratic Party fraud and injustice directed at Trump and his base with a stealing of the presidency message versus a legitimate and honest election loss.

Trump didn't mean or believe a word he said in that short, weakly toned and spoken contrived content speech, imo.

It was strictly a desperate damage control speaking event created by his desperate damage control people. No one besides Trump's most die hard base believed a word he said in it. And you could see and feel that the squinty eyed, tight lipped, stiff jawed Trump didn't either.

As Mary Trump has said for one year. The problem is her Uncle "gets away" with these incredible crimes due to those in power threatening but never following through with standing up to Trump in any meaningful way. Yes, they got an impeachment hearing before, but the Republicans rejected it in total compliancy unison.

I don't think every Republican would do that again in a new Impeachment effort.

I am sure Trump thinks this will all just die down and go away. It's his insecurity fear protecting mental coping mechanism.

Yet, even he must be losing sleep at the growing outrage in every area of our country and even internationally.

I think our leaders have drawn a line with this Trump incited chaos event.

It has embarrassed and disrespected us internationally more than any event in modern history.

ENOUGH!   This highly disturbed and great nation damaging man must leave or be relieved.

  10. D C... I hope that at some point you relate to me what Marina Oswald told you that you could not reveal in her lifetime? Something extraordinary?

I cannot identify with your ideology in the ultra conservative movement realm starting in your youth. However, it seems to me that in your later years you have placed truth, justice and dark secrecy exposing ahead of everything else and your huge time and effort commitment writing, speaking and posting efforts to do such.

Truths about JFK's murder, LBJ's involvement and over-all corruption, the corruption of so many other highest position government persons, the ET story, Nixon, etc.

I hope this view of mine of your older age moral and common good motivated commitment sincerity in this way is not wrong.

What was your take again as to the contradiction of Hunt confessing the "Big Event" JFK removal story with LBJ and Cord Meyer behind it versus Hunt telling you that JFK was taken out over the "Alien Presence" secrecy exposing threat?

  12. National media finally expressing Trump outrage unilaterally.

Newspapers from coast to coast were quick to condemn Donald Trump after his supporters attacked the Capitol.

New York Times: Trump Is to Blame for Capitol Attack

The president needs to be held accountable — through impeachment proceedings or criminal prosecution — and the same goes for his supporters who carried out the violence. In time, there should be an investigation of the failure of the Capitol Police to prepare for an attack that was announced and planned in public.

This is not just an attack on the results of the 2020 election. It is a precedent — a permission slip for similar opposition to the outcomes of future elections. It must be clearly rejected, and placed beyond the pale of permissible conduct.

The Washington Post: Trump caused the assault on the Capitol. He must be removed

Responsibility for this act of sedition lies squarely with the president, who has shown that his continued tenure in office poses a grave threat to U.S. democracy. He should be removed.

Mr. Trump encouraged the mob to gather on Wednesday, as Congress was set to convene, and to “be wild.” After repeating a panoply of absurd conspiracy theories about the election, he urged the crowd to march on the Capitol. “We’re going to walk down, and I’ll be there with you,” he said. “You’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength, and you have to be strong.”

USA Today: Donald Trump triggers the American carnage he vowed to stop in his inaugural address

What to do about this man who has brought such ignominy upon our country? Censure by Congress? Certainly. Criminal exposure for inciting violence and pressuring Georgia’s secretary of state to flip that state’s election results? Perhaps.

But can any punishment truly fit the crime? Four years of Trump’s divisive leadership have produced impeachable conduct, failed management of a pandemic that has killed 360,000 Americans, and the undermining of democracy with self-serving and contrived claims of voter fraud.

And now — as a capstone — he fomented mob violence that had all the earmarks of an insurrection.

Los Angeles Times: Trump is responsible for the violent storming of U.S. Capitol

This is the predictable outcome of the grotesque charade being played not just by Trump but by Sens. Ted. Cruz (R-Texas), Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) and others who have aligned with Trump’s blatantly false assertions of voting fraud. Attacking democratic institutions attacks democracy itself, and what the nation witnessed Wednesday in Washington is the power of the mob to destabilize even the most stable of democracies.

The responsibility for this day of unconscionable attacks by Americans on the heart of our elective system belongs to Trump. But his enablers have much to answer for as well, and much to regret.

Seattle Times: Restore order after a shameful day in American history

Until Biden’s inauguration Jan. 20, Trump holds extensive official power. For the good of the nation, Vice President Mike Pence and cabinet officials should consider invoking the 25th amendment to take power out of Trump’s hands. He cannot be trusted.

Miami Herald: Trump is deranged, dangerous and ‘incapacitated.’ Invoke the 25th Amendment and remove him from office

It is time to invoke the 25th Amendment. It is time for President Trump — as he told the violent, radical thugs who support him no matter what; who crawled over the U.S. Capitol like spiders; who breached House and Senate chambers; who brazenly confronted overwhelmed, ill-prepared law-enforcement officers; who forced lawmakers to take shelter — to “go home.”

Wall Street Journal: The Disgrace On Capitol Hill

Mr. Biden will become President at noon on Jan. 20, and until then the police need to restore order with as much force as necessary. Republicans especially need to speak against trespass and violence. As for Mr. Trump, to steal some famous words deployed in 1940 against Neville Chamberlain: “In the name of God, go.”

Facebook just closed the barn door after the cows left: They are banning Trump from Facebook and Instagram indefinitely.

This is not an endorsement of the move. Just reporting.

Twitter's ban is toothless. They are allowing his staff to get around the ban by posting Trump's quotes under their accounts. The ban should include a ban on those who Trump is using to get around their block.

  14. Trump's frantic and desperate Wag-The-Dog damage control nonsense:

    It was Antifa provocateurs.

It was just a fringe minority. News coverage shows thousands converged on the Capital bldg.

The Dems wanted this to happen

Trump never specifically told anyone to breach the building.

Trump's first term most accomplished in American history.

Liberal press over-hyping this minor and relatively meaningless event.

Trump appointees jumping ship are disloyal self-serving cowards.

Mary Trump was in the Capital steps crowd egging on the actual breaking and entering thugs.

    And on and on.

  15. Finally, major American newspaper's front page calls for Trump's removal.

Two today, for sure more in the next few days.

The Boston Globe, New York Daily News and L.A. Times have called for Trump's removal a year ago.

The Washington Post’s editorial board took the extreme step on Wednesday of calling for President Donald Trump’s Cabinet to remove him from office after he encouraged a mob of his supporters to storm the U.S. Capitol building.

“The president is unfit to remain in office for the next 14 days. Every second he retains the vast powers of the presidency is a threat to public order and national security,” reads the piece, published to the Post’s Opinion section Wednesday night.

The editorial board urged Vice President Mike Pence and the rest of Trump’s Cabinet to meet immediately and invoke the 25th Amendment, a law that allows the vice president to take over presidential duties if the president is no longer able to do her or his job due to sickness or disability. Once a president is removed under the 25th Amendment, the vice president and Cabinet members can decide if the president is “unable to discharge the powers and duties” of the White House.

“Americans put on their seat belts, follow traffic laws, pay taxes and vote because of faith in a system — and that faith makes it work,” the article continues. “The highest voice in the land incited people to break that faith, not just in tweets, but by inciting them to action. Mr. Trump is a menace, and as long as he remains in the White House, the country will be in danger.”

The Miami Herald editorial board also called for Trump to be removed from office in an article published Wednesday night. The board called Trump “deranged, dangerous and incapacitated,” and urged Trump’s cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment.

“There can be no doubt that the president is prepared to have his minions scorch the Earth and blow up democracy itself in order to stay in power. He is that determined, that desperate and that indifferent to anything other than staying in the Oval Office,” the article reads. “America cannot wait, with fear and bated breath, to see what abomination comes during the next 13 days.”

Why aren't editorial boards screaming: Trump has to go ... ?

During the Watergate scandal, nearly every major newspaper in America called for Nixon to resign. More than 100 newspapers did the same ...

  16. Pictures of this palace coup that will resonate for years to come will be these:

The picture of the plain clothes security officers crouched and aiming their drawn pistols toward the smashed window behind the lecturn with Congress members cowering down all around.

The smugly smiling intruder lounging in Nancy Pelosi's office chair with one leg and foot extended out and up and resting on her messed up desk.

Trump supporters lifting themselves up and through smashed windows to get inside the Capital building.

The look of absolute terror on the faces of cowering congressmen and women, one even donning a full head covering see through gas mask.

Tear gas clouds and flash bang bursts on the steps of the Capital building with hundreds of Trump mob people running to and fro.

Weirdly unconcerned looking Donald Trump standing outside the White House giving a stand down speech that was 100% sympathetic to the mob seige crowd ( even saying he felt "their" pain and frustration and expressing his love for them ) versus "none" for the traumatized victims of the Trump vigilante mob invasion.

Capital police running through the building seemingly out numbered and with Trump crazies walking and running around non-confronted all by themselves or together.

The surreal Capital building seige scene kind of reminded me of the Roger Stone staged Brooks Brothers building seige of the Miami/Dade County election count building days after the 2,000 Presidential election. Where paid agitators were bussed in to create intimidating threatening chaos by actually bursting into the building and pounding on glass doors just feet away from the frightened vote counters.

This Capital Building seige had the same Roger Stone style of direction look and feel but on a national stage scale of fear and shock beyond anything the average American could have imagined.

The worked up, out of control angry mob breaking in invasion of one of our top three most sacred buildings of government while our Congress is actually inside with tens of millions of Americans seeing it happen live on national TV right in front of their eyes with flash grenades exploding and tear gas clouds wafting was so shocking it was even traumatizing.

Every news outlet cut off normal formats to continuously follow and report the event. Like 9-11.

Our own largest audience San Francisco radio news station KCBS stopped all other broadcasting to follow the DC mob invasion event minute by minute.

Imagine what America's young people who are stuck at home by the millions and seeing this chaos themselves on national TV were thinking about this out-of-control Trump supporter riot?

Their lives have already been turned upside down to long term effecting traumatizing degrees and now they see this worked up Trump supporter chaos madness seige/rioting right in the sacred buildings of our highest government business?

How much more damage can Trump and his worked up followers do to this country which is already traumatized by this unprecedented stress creating virus?

I'm sure Trump will come up with something in his totally self-serving obsession fight to keep his ego maniacal power position and name in lights no matter the damage cost to the rest of us.

Trump's niece Mary tried to tell us and even warn us to this reality about her "Too Much And Never Enough" egomaniacal uncle Donald.
