  1. There was no coup in Dallas on 11,22,1963.

A lovelorn loner loser minimum wage book sorting worker in a building that just happened to be in the perfect turkey shoot location along the Presidential motorcade route that day decided on his own just days before that he was going to take on a massive security force and in front of hundreds of bystanders directly below his full sun illuminated and opened upper floor window perch, take three booming loud shots at JFK "after he had passed" his location and was traveling away on a downward slope ( and with JFK's upper body and head moving sideways by two feet at the same time) while lining up his defective scope to then get a perfect bullseye on a 7 to 8 inch wide moving target at 265 feet after two earlier closer range shots resulted in one complete miss and another non-fatal hit.

    Really?

This amazingly accurate shooter then tosses his cheapest bad reputation old WWII rifle and runs or walks fast down 4 flights of stairs and goes into a company common use lunch room, pulls out a quarter and selects his favorite soda ( Dr. Pepper ) to quench his sweat run thirst and is standing still there in closed eye "ahhh" relief just as a big frantic Dallas Cop bursts in the room and thrusting a loaded gun at him and after company super Roy Truly tells the officer the soda drinking man was an employee, then saunters down to the lobby, guides a future fame journalist to the nearest pay phone, walks out and goes a few blocks to board a city bus....

All after just making an incredible, hard to duplicate ( even by world class marksmen ) bullseye accurate rifle shot into an 8 inch moving target at 265 feet away under two miss physical and mental stress, sweaty palmed urgency way beyond anything close to shooting range target practice conditions.

The point being ... what part of the word "preposterous" meaning definition do you not think applies to this WC finding scenario?

12 points of incredible luck, one after the other for lovelorn lowest wage Lee Oswald to pull off and simply walk away from the crime of the century?

If true, history has missed the boat regards not referring to Lee Harvey Oswald as "LUCKY LEE" all these last 59 years.

    IMO anyways.

Breaking news headline from The New York Times:

Trump Takes the Fifth Amendment in New York Deposition

The former president invoked his right against self-incrimination during a deposition that the New York attorney general’s office had hoped would be a turning point in a civil investigation into his business practices. It is one of several active investigations into Mr. Trump.

"You see the mob takes the Fifth," he said during one rally in Iowa. "If you're innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?"

I will release my taxes very soon ( 2016.)

Mexico will pay for the wall.

I never paid those women ( Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal.)

I don't even know who E. Jean Carrol is.

In an interview with "Axios on HBO" that aired Monday night, Trump was asked why he wished Maxwell well when she's been arrested on allegations of child sex trafficking.
"Well, first of all you don't know that," Trump said to the allegations of child sex trafficking. "Her friend or boyfriend (Epstein) was either killed or committed suicide. She's now in jail. Yeah, I wish her well. I'd wish you well. I'd wish a lot of people well. Good luck. Let them prove somebody was guilty."

  3. ‘Oh what a tangled web we weave/When first we practice to deceive.

Sounds like Shakespeare. It's a quote from Sir Walter Scott.

More and more of Trump's most loyal soldiers and enablers are getting trapped in their own webs of deceit.

Bannon has already been convicted of contempt. Rudy Ghouliani and many others are just about to be called to grand juries. More convictions will certainly follow.

All of these "loyal to the end" Trump lieutenants will have their reputations and legacies tarnished forever by sticking with their deluded and paranoid Captain Queeg even while their more and more crew abandoned ship is sinking.

The only defense stance Trump followers can grasp onto is to downplay, downplay, downplay the super violent attack on the Capital building. While it was filled with our entire congress!

However, the truth is too strong to deny.

This coup attempt was the most serious constitution law violation attack on our democracy since the Civil War.

If the attackers were progressives Trump and his people would be framing the attack as nothing short of another Pearl Harbor and calling for long prison terms and even worse punishments.

Trump would have ordered in heavily armed troops within 5 minutes with orders to shoot to kill. And afterwards bragged to the nation that "he" saved the country from the heathen hordes of left wing radical thugs!

In late November 1963 in Dallas Texas a tragedy occurred. A man was shot in front of his protectors. He later was pronounced dead in Parkland Hospital. This terrible event not only cost the life of a human being but dealt a savage blow to truth. Because of this murder faith in our leaders has been severely shaken. His death spawned a mystery which has still not been satisfactorily explained, and perhaps never will. Truth and justice was badly wounded when Lee Harvey Oswald was killed. I wonder if Jack Ruby ever realised that his act of violence would have such far reaching consequences.

You state the true impact upon us all which was the great loss of faith that truth and justice would prevail. And it never has, even to this day.

We still hope and keep looking for such things as truth and justice though. We must for our children, grandchildren and their children and grandchildren and every human being.

Of course the biggest coup involving Alex Jones was the confiscating of his phone records  and subpoena by the 1/6 committee and soon the DOJ.

Great headline that now Alex Jones has to pay 45 million in punitive damages. But unfortunately there is a $750,000 cap on all such awards in Texas. What kind of fascist law is that?. Obviously it reflects a history in Texas of the rich writing their own laws.

I'm not sure why they would even try such a case in Texas, when the victims are in Connecticut?.

Thank God, I understand they can sue for more damages though.

    https://www.lamag.com/article/alex-jones-hit-with-45-2-mil-punitive-judgement-but-texas-cap-is-750k/

I imagine only a few hundred thousand Americans have actually viewed any of the Alex Jones civil lawsuit trial - .1% of the entire nation and even less the entire trial.

I did and almost can never remember seeing anyone destroying themselves on the stand like Alex Jones did in this one. He not only incriminated himself 100 times but was caught flat out perjurying himself.

This trial should be played back in colleges of law as a monumental lesson of defense self-destruction non-pareil.

I would think Jones could or should be charged with perjury as the proof of his committing this crime is so obvious it's cringing.

I have made my last payment to Invision. Their next payment is due on September 4th.
During that time you need a leader that is acceptable to the membership and remaining admin members.
That person must have the agreement of Invision and able to demonstrate to Invision they can fund the EF.
Invision will need the person’s bank details so that Invision can take their monthly subscription from that person's bank account.
So there is a lot to get through and not a lot of time to complete it.

Just give me an address ( and party of payment ) to send my $50 check. I can get this out by tomorrow.

    I feel guilty.

I have not sent any monetary donations to our great forum here ever.

This forum has provided me with YEARS of the most fulfilling and enlightened engagement with an area of passionate interest that I have ever been involved with.

My wife regularly donates to public radio and specifically a local non-profit all volunteer FM station out of Cupertino that plays music she loves.

About time I did the same with the JFK Education and Debate forum which has provided me with thousands of hours of richly stimulating and informative engagement with some of the most highly esteemed and credentialed JFK researchers in the country.

I'm no big fan of Trump's as a person. I think he's a man of bad character and bad behavior, but he was not the first less-than-ideal man we've had in the White House.

Trump is separated into a new "bad character and bad behavior" territory category from any previous "less than ideal man " President to such an epic degree, it's ... well ... crazy!

What other President tried to initiate a violent coup by thousands of worked up death threat shouting mob thugs ( with our own Capital building full of our Congress as a main target of attack ) after being constitutionally voted out of office?

Sorry, downplaying Trump's treasonous acts of trying to subvert, overturn and even overthrow our most important democratic process lawful election as no more serious and dangerous as other bad character President's behavior ( Watergate was nothing compared to the Jan.6th attack ) is so logically and even factually weak it's not even worth debating ... imo.

We are in new "clear and present danger" to our democracy territory with Donald Trump as stated on live TV to 20 million Americans by highly revered conservative Federal Judge Michael Luttig.

Former VP Dick Chaney just stated the same warning and added the title of "COWARD" to Donald Trump's character and actions.

Arizona Republican Rusty Bowers also proclaimed to national TV audiences that Trump "has no courage."

These few big boulder Trump criticism cliff crumblings are signaling a much larger landslide of full blown no holds barred Trump repudiation.

    Oh, sorry.

I just realized this post should be in the Joseph McBride thread at the top of our forum index page.

However, the Michael Griffith post above defending by down playing Donald Trump's bad character and behavior made me forget the new rule.

I'll delete this post if MG's off thread topic post is deleted as well.

The Dems should be POUNDING and POUNDING and POUNDING this exact message in every media starting immediately and for the next 3 months.

This singular, simple but supremely important message:

If you are for women's right to choose the only way you can keep this right is to vote Democrat this next election.

    It is the only way!

This next election is your Waterloo moment!

Any right to choose woman who doesn't vote is to blame for what is happening to them, their daughters and every other woman in their lives that they love.

A vote for the repubs is a vote against your right to choose.

Joe, I've read a lot about Oswald's alleged shooting at Walker, but I admit that I'm on the fence.  You seem to say that you do believe that LHO fired the shot.  If so, could you please share with me what may have "put you over top"? Thanks!

I guess one could say they are "on the fence" with every aspect of the JFK/Lee Harvey Oswald assassinations as well as the hundreds of other peripheral side stories connected to them and the many characters involved.

No one can say that they know the absolute truth of anything to do with it all with 100% certainty.

However, I don't think anyone here motivated enough to stay connected to the forum wants to never assume a firm belief stance on at least a few of the main questions now and then.

Regards the Walker shooting story I have decided to believe enough of Marina Oswald's testimony to the WC and later the HSCA where she describes what she knew about Lee's involvement including his own words and her claim that he had a map and photos of the Walker home.

I don't believe she made this up. Too many details that she would have mixed up in her 100 times being interrogated or questioned about the story.

There is very little ( practically none ) eye and ear witness accounts of the shooting itself. Yet, I have decided to believe that of the young man who lived next door to the shooting area and ran out and looked over a fence and reported what he saw.

The Jeanie and George DeMohrenschildts's testimony about seeing Lee's rifle and George's reported off handed comment to Lee "how could you miss."??? inferring his guess that Lee Oswald took a shot at Walker also add to my belief that Oswald did shoot at Walker.

We can all decide our own belief parameters regards any aspect of the JFK event. Of course, we will always have different views of such.

I've decided that I believe Oswald did take a shot at Walker.

    Chris,

We're not arguing about whether Trump is a bad guy.  That's a given.

We're arguing about why 25-30% of the U.S. population still hasn't figured that out.

For example, in yesterday's Republican primaries, the candidates who are still endorsing Trump's Big Lie about the 2020 election, and denying his January 6 coup attempt, are getting the GOP votes.

Conversely, those who have had the integrity and courage to tell the truth about Trump's historic chicanery, like Rusty Bowers of Arizona, are losing elections and getting death threats from the Trump cult.

    Exactly.

    I hate the delay time.

I am just an old fashioned check writer and sender.

A canceled check is my acceptable record of payment and payment received.

Not being a lawyer, I am not sure but perhaps a contributor should have to sign ( electronically ) or a form sent to them, a release and understanding that their donation is non-refundable as well as non pro-rated negotiable if they violate the ethics rules of the forum to a degree of removal?

  13. In Oswald's ( or whoever's ) brilliant planning he chose to do JFK from a stand alone building "smack dab" in the middle of Dealey Plaza through an extremely visible open window, directly facing and just 75 feet up from a crowd of hundreds of super attentive bystanders right beneath him and illuminated as brightly as if he had 10 big movie premier lights on it by the full mid-day sun?

He then sticks his rifle barrel "outside" of the ridiculously visible open window and begins to unload three shots so booming loud they are heard as far away as Main Street and that immediately draw the attention of hundreds below including even the SS who turn toward them after the first shot?

    Really?

In my opinion, Lee Oswald was not that dumb.

Oswald had enough planning forethought and common sense to take a shot at General Walker under cover of darkness and trees and on the ground at a time when there would be few people if any outside in the area. And running away after missing with just one shot was sensible as more shots would have drawn more attention.

However, in contrast, the broad daylight illuminated and exposed TXSBD 6th floor open window JFK shooting location combined with three rifle barrel thrusting booming loud shots from it and drawing immediate attention from hundreds of bystanders below was so logistically nonsensical it was literally a suicidal mission.

As was an escape plan that simply called for running down 5 lower floors of a building that was immediately targeted and entered for searching.

If part of a multiple shooter plan was to divert attention to one "patsy" shooter's location the team couldn't have done a better job than they did with the brightest mid-day sun illuminated TXSBD 6th floor open window and the plaza shaking BOOM...BOOM...BOOM sounds emanating from it.

They might as well have hung a 30 foot wide -10 foot high sign just below the window that said in big bold black letters ... "HERE I AM COPPERS ... COME AND GET ME!"

America will never go back to anything resembling our typical culture and way of life as it was in the 1950's, 60's and 70's.

The huge increase ethnic demographic numbers have changed too much and along with this increase is a change in language , culture, values etc.

    We are too diverse now.

Ethnically, politically, socially, technologically, economically, gender, you name it.

We don't know who we are anymore imo. And where we should go.
