  1. Ben, I'm going to take a break from trying to correct your reading comprehension problems and erroneous theorizing about history and current events. Interestingly, one of the RNC propaganda strategies for the upcoming January 6th hearings is, apparently, to re-cast the investigation of Trump's serious 1/6 crimes as mere partisan politics-- precisely what you are doing in your confused rants (above) about my analyses of Trump, Robert Mueller, 9/11, etc. You repeatedly misinterpret my comments, then pretend to "rebut" your misinterpretations of what I wrote. That approach to a debate/discussion serves no useful purpose. It's like wrestling with a tar baby.
  2. Ben, you ignorant slut... 🤥 Did you forget that you, yourself, are the guy pushing the "Russiagate was a Deep State plot against Trump" narrative? I merely reminded you that Robert Mueller went easy on Trump. Trump and his family members were never subpoenaed by Mueller, nor did Mueller indict Trump for witness tampering and obstruction of justice. My own hunch is that Mueller was acting as a Republican Party loyalist. As for 9/11, your knowledge of the subject is minimal. Don't project your ignorance and confusion on to me. Regarding the subject of Trump and 9/11, Donald correctly surmised on 9/11 that only "bombs" (explosives) could have demolished the WTC towers. He also announced during the 2016 Republican primary debates with Jeb Bush that, "When I'm President, the American people are going to find out who really destroyed the World Trade Center on 9/11." Needless to say, Trump never told the American people who really destroyed the World Trade Center. Nor did he release the suppressed JFKA records. So much for Trump being an adversary of the Deep State, eh? As for Liz Cheney, she deserves her Profiles in Courage Award for participating in the investigation of Trump's January 6th coup attempt. Your blathering misogyny is duly noted, again. Meanwhile, have you figured out yet that Trump's January 6th coup attempt was a very serious, unprecedented seditious conspiracy against the U.S. government?
  3. Ben, Get a clue, for once. You, obviously, still haven't read or understood the commentary that I posted (above) about Robert Mueller, Louis Freeh, Sibel Edmonds, and the FBI in relation to 9/11. This is one of the reasons that I stopped responding to your erroneous posts this year. You don't read or understand the facts and references that people post for you. In that post, I referenced the FBI's role in covering up the 9/11 evidence-- both before and after 9/11-- and I specifically said that Mueller had to be in the loop on the post-9/11 cover up. Right? But let me take a wild guess about your reasons for repeatedly talking about Robert Mueller recently. You are trying to imply that Mueller's tenure as FBI Director during the Bush/Cheney administration proves that his later investigation of Russiagate was part of a Deep State plot against Donald Trump, right? That theory is easily debunked by the facts. Did Mueller even subpoena Trump in his Russiagate grand jury investigation? Did he subpoena Don, Jr., Eric Trump, Jared Kushner, or Ivanka? Did he indict Trump for the multiple counts of obstruction of justice detailed in the Mueller Report? Are you aware that Robert Mueller is a personal friend and colleague of Trump's former AG Bill Barr-- the ex-CIA lawyer who managed the Iran-Contra pardons? Tell us how Mueller persecuted Donald Trump. On the contrary, he let him off the hook.
  4. Ben, Rather than repeating myself, I would suggest that you go back and read what I already posted recently in response to your (tangential) questions about Robert Mueller and 9/11. Apparently, you didn't read my comments about the FBI, Louis Freeh, Sibel Edmonds, and 9/11.
  5. Wow. Quite a vindication of Prouty. I always thought the man was a straight shooter. Time for the Prouty defamers to eat some serious crow.
  6. Kirk, Perhaps we all owe Ben a certain debt of gratitude. In a sense, Ben has served during the past year as an erstwhile canary in the Trump/MAGA coalmine. He has tirelessly promoted dubious theories from the right wing, Greenwald/Carlson MAGA-verse-- e.g., that Russiagate was a Deep State hoax, that Trump's January 6th coup attempt was a scrum-like Deep State "patriot purge," and that Bill Barr's Durham investigation debunked Trump's Russiagate scandal. Ben's singing about his theories has forced all of us to be mindful of the toxic Trumplican fumes. Then, ultimately, Ben succumbs to the fumes and stops singing, before moving on to the next MAGA mine shaft.
  7. I'm still waiting for an accurate documentary about Watergate entitled, They Weren't All the President's Men. The John Dean-centric Gaslit series ain't it. In fact, I noticed while watching the Gaslit series recently that they dedicated a lot of screen time to the story of John Dean and L. Patrick Gray burning the documents from E. Howard Hunt's safe in the White House, without even raising the question of why Hunt left the documents in the White House and why they needed to be urgently burned. Does anyone know what was in the safe? (Mr. Caddy probably can't answer the question without violating attorney-client confidentiality.)
  8. My impression is that LBJ's successful Presidential support for the Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act-- after sabotaging civil rights legislation in Congress for years-- was part of a cynical, self-serving maneuver to endear himself to northern liberals in the Democratic Party after 11/22/63. IMO, it was also part of a calculated strategy to reduce suspicion of his involvement in the JFK assassination, by publicly aligning himself with JFK's policies on civil rights. Similarly, LBJ worked hard to create the public impression that he had not altered JFK's Vietnam policy, as John Newman, James DiEugenio, and other historians have demonstrated so clearly. I should mention that I was not fully aware of LBJ's serious character pathology until I read Mr. Nelson's LBJ biographies (Mastermind and Colossus) a few years ago. These threads are personally interesting to me because, several years ago, after reading the Nelson LBJ biographies, I had a rather heated argument with a family member who revered Robert Caro. (I ended up sending her copies of the two Nelson books.)
  9. And, shockingly, 76% of Republicans in a new poll still believe Trump's Big Lie about the 2020 election. It's Orwellian. https://www.mediaite.com/news/new-poll-whopping-76-of-republicans-say-biden-did-not-legitimately-win-the-election-as-jan-6-hearing-approaches/ June 4, 2022
  10. Excellent post, Pat. I never bought the narrative about widespread Russian (GRU) hacking not altering vote tallies in critical swing states in the 2016 U.S. Presidential election. If I recall the numbers correctly, Trump unexpectedly won Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania by a combined total of only 80,000 votes. Highly suspicious. The post-election spin in the M$M was that Hillary's lead in pre-election and exit polling in those critical swing states had been grossly flawed-- deserving of ridicule. But an alternative explanation is that the vote tallies were altered by hackers. After the 2016 election, a professor in Wisconsin found evidence of an estimated 23,000 valid, uncounted votes in the Milwaukee metropolitan area alone. Vote tallies in Democratic Detroit were also suspiciously low, as I recall. That 80,000 vote margin in WI, MI, and PA gave Trump the Electoral College win in an election that he lost by a full 2% of the popular vote. The Russian (GRU) hackers knew precisely where to concentrate their efforts.
  11. Yes, and there are numerous parallels between 9/11 and the JFK assassination, as a number of historians/analysts have pointed out-- including Peter Dale Scott and Laurent Guyenot. Among other parallels, both black ops were covered up by the M$M and sham Federal investigations. Incidentally, George W. Bush had initially asked Henry Kissinger to chair the 9/11 Commission. It was Kissinger who referred Dubya Bush to Condoleeza Rice's associate, Phillip Zelikow, to chair the 9/11 "investigation." (Kissinger and his associate, L. Paul Bremer, were also two of the key M$M "experts" who promptly pinned the blame for 9/11 on Osama Bin Laden and "Al Qaeda" immediately after the 9/11 attacks.)
  12. Paul, Russ Baker published an interesting op-ed on February 22, 2017 about the mainstream media's "Deep State conversion moment." (I had to track this one down on another forum where I had posted it on... February 22, 2017-- one month after Trump's inauguration.) That was around the time that Fox News and the Trumpsters first "discovered" the concept of the "Deep State"-- part of Trump's public relations effort to blame his involvement with the Kremlin on persecution by the FBI, etc. By February of 2017, Donald Trump was frantically trying to shut down the FBI investigation of Michael Flynn's efforts to undermine the sanctions imposed against Russia for meddling in the 2016 U.S. election. Trump, ultimately, fired FBI Director James Comey on May 9, 2017 for his refusal to end the Flynn investigation. Russ Baker on the Media’s Deep State Conversion Moment - WhoWhatWhy February 17, 2017
  13. Paul, I believe David Ray Griffin's theory that 9/11 was PNAC's "New Pearl Harbor" -- a carefully staged, catastrophic false flag event and psy op used to mobilize popular support in the U.S. for the Bush/Cheney administration's PNAC military agenda in Afghanistan and the Middle East-- our multi-trillion dollar "War on (Islamic) Terror." https://www.911review.com/motive/pnac.html In terms of logistics, by September of 2001, the U.S. military had successfully developed and tested precise, GPS-guided remote piloting technology for Boeing jetliners. They didn't need hijackers to fly planes into buildings. But, as with any false flag op, they needed designated enemies/patsies (either dead or imaginary) to blame for the attacks-- and a carefully coordinated M$M narrative about them. (IMO, the Saudi government also worked with the CIA and Mossad to implement the 9/11 op.) And cui bono? Who benefited from 9/11? Certainly not Osama Bin Laden and his CIA-trained mujaheddin militants (aka "Al Qaeda.") The beneficiaries were the U.S., British, and NATO military-industrial complex, (including, of course, oil companies and Halliburton) Israel, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE-- i.e., nations in the Middle East who were threatened by Saddam Hussein's Baathist state, Iran, the Taliban, the Assad regime, etc.
  14. I finally started watching the Gaslit series during the past week and, as of last night, I've caught up through the first six episodes. Thanks to Ron Bulman for recommending this. It's highly entertaining and well produced. I had to go back and review what I remembered about Jim Hougan's book, Secret Agenda, to put the Gaslit screenplay in proper historical perspective. E. Howard Hunt, unfortunately, remains a shadowy, peripheral character throughout the first six episodes. Baldwin isn't even named. (Martha Mitchell refers to Dorothy Hunt's plane crash in a mere two lines.) They depict James McCord as slow-witted, clumsy, and inept-- without attempting to clarify his role in deliberately bungling the Watergate burglaries. They also run with the standard Mark Felt = Deep Throat narrative. This Gaslit drama is centered primarily on the Mitchells and the Deans, based on a podcast called Slow Burn. The RNC sex party host who grabbed John Dean by the cajones in the hot tub was Kenneth Harry Dahlberg, (1917-2011) a WWII fighter ace and Nixon booster who made his fortune with Telex, a hearing aid manufacturer, and venture capitalist. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenneth_H._Dahlberg
  15. Correct. Nor was the titanium engine rotor photographed in the Pentagon wreckage from a Boeing jetliner engine. It was too small. If I recall correctly, some people familiar with the technical details thought the rotor was from a Sky Hawk cruise missile engine. But, as always, Google searches will yield a vast array of rational-sounding websites purporting to "debunk" the actual evidence.
  16. Ben, Regarding Bill Barr's Durham Psy Op, some pictures are worth a thousand words. * As for 9/11, Louis Freeh was the FBI Director prior to 9/11, so the FBI field reports about the alleged hijackers prior to 9/11 were not suppressed by Mueller, but by Freeh. Mueller became FBI Director on 9/12, and one of his first public acts was to release the names of the alleged 19 hijackers that had been conveniently planted-- along with a copy of the Koran-- in a rental car at Logan Airport. Former FBI translator, Sibel Edmonds, has documented some of the suspicious history of the FBI in relation to 9/11 in her memoir, Classified Woman. The FBI was also, allegedly, involved in confiscating the CCTV video cam evidence around the Pentagon on 9/11. To my knowledge, this video evidence has never been released to the public-- although I haven't kept up on the research literature for a while. Additionally, the FBI detained and interrogated the five "Dancing Israeli" Mossad agents (arrested near the George Washington Bridge on 9/11) for 70 days, before quietly releasing them to Israel. So, Mueller had to be "in the loop" on some level in the suppression of the 9/11 evidence. So was FBI-philic Rudy Giuliani, who lied to the Zelikow 9/11 Commission about the fact that he had been forewarned on 9/11 about the impending demolition of the WTC towers. My own studied opinion is that the 19 alleged Muslim hijackers were CIA- and Mossad-affiliated patsies who never hijacked any planes on 9/11. Nor did Osama Bin Laden (long affiliated with the CIA) have anything to do with the 9/11 attacks -- as he told Al Jazeera and a Pakistani journalist shortly after 9/11. (These Bin Laden denials were suppressed by the M$M in the U.S.) Bin Laden was promptly blamed for the 9/11 attacks in the world media, by Kissinger's associate L. Paul Bremer, (on CNN) Henry Kissinger, (on Sky Television) and Ehud Barak (on BBC television.) Robert Mueller later said, publicly, that the FBI "never found a single scrap of paper" implicating Bin Laden in the 9/11 attacks. Nor was there any CCTV or flight manifest data indicating that Muslim hijackers had boarded any planes on 9/11. (BTW, the FBI's top Bin Laden expert, John O'Neill, was killed in the WTC on 9/11. It was his first day on the job as the new security director for the WTC.) *
  17. And one of the reasons they won't admit it is that they genuinely don't know it. They simply aren't getting the facts from their right wing "news" sources -- Fox, WSJ, Breitbart, Newsmax, OANN, Sinclair, Washington Examiner, etc. This phenomenon was documented by the recent five-year UC Berkeley study of delusional Fox News viewers. Of course, disinformation isn't limited to right wing media sources, but a recent analysis from MIT (by Guay, et.al.) has debunked the standard false equivalence trope about both sides of the political spectrum in the U.S. engaging in comparable propagation of disinformation. Dana Millbank referenced this MIT study in his WaPo op-ed today.* (Ben, please don't clutter the board again with your oft-repeated WaPo/CIA trope. Everyone here knows that WaPo has collaborated with the CIA for decades to suppress reporting about CIA and military black ops. This is about non-military/CIA propaganda. In fact, it's about NRA/GOP sabotage of gun control in the U.S.) * There’s no reasoning with a GOP hijacked by disinformation www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/05/31/gun-safety-compromise-impossible-gop-disinformation/
  18. Eat your crow, Ben. You continue to ignore the larger story here about ex-CIA lawyer Bill Barr's psy ops to mislead the public about Russiagate. The sham Durham investigation is only the most recent example.
  19. I posted this New York Magazine article link because it isn't pay-walled, and it's historically important. The big story today isn't really about Sussman per se. It's about the ex-CIA lawyer who was recruited by George H.W. Bush to manage the Iran-Contra pardons-- Bill Barr. Years later, Trump recruited the same man, Bill Barr, to shut down, redact, and publicly misrepresent the Mueller investigation and Report. Bill Barr is a very slick lawyer and psy operator, and his Durham investigation has, basically, been a protracted psy op-- amplified by the right wing M$M propaganda apparatus in the U.S. The worst example was the ridiculous Glenn Beck interview of Bill Barr yesterday, in which Barr aggressively tried to spin the Sussman trial as a debunking of Trump's Russiagate scandal. Phil Anschutz's Washington Examiner propaganda rag ran the story yesterday. Another right wing propaganda rag, The Daily Mail, even ran with this bogus Barr story today. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10871515/Former-AG-Bill-Barr-believes-John-Durham-uncovered-seditious-actions-against-Trump.html It's a false narrative that has been promoted on this very forum by the likes of Ben Cole and Jeff Carter. Rather than ignoring the larger story here, it's time for Ben and Jeff to eat some crow.
  20. John Durham Tried to Prove Trump's Russiagate Theory. Instead, He Debunked It. Trump's Prosecutor Faceplants. John Durham Accidentally Debunked Trump’s Russiagate Theory (archive.ph) Trump’s prosecutor face-plants. Trump’s prosecutor face-plants.
  21. I think MTG is referring here to those damned Gazpacho Police. First they came for the gazpacho. Next, they're coming for the cheeseburgers...🤥
  22. It's a relief to know that our AG is deeply concerned about the war on our democracy. (Incidentally, Garland graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College before graduating from Harvard Law School.) If the rule of law prevails, Donald Trump will die in prison, unless he flees the country. He's a felonious skunk. (Rhymes with Thelonious Monk.) Trump repeatedly obstructed justice during the Mueller investigation, but Mueller was, allegedly, not permitted by the DOJ to indict a sitting president for obstruction of justice. Trump also unlawfully attempted to alter vote counts in Georgia and other states, and conspired to obstruct Congress's official certification of Biden's electoral victory-- a serious 20 year felony. More significantly, Trump served in the White House as a compromised asset of a hostile foreign adversary, and he and his family also took massive bribes in exchange for U.S. policy favors, in gross violation of the Emoluments Clause of the U.S. Constitution.
  23. Geez. Jeff Carter is still prevaricating about Rupert Murdoch's Sussman/Mook non-scandal, as advertised in the WSJ. How many of these fake Clinton scandals have Republican con men foisted on the American public during the past quarter century? First we had the Scaife- and taxpayer-funded Kenneth Starr five year Whitewater "investigation." Then we had multiple taxpayer-funded GOP Benghazi "investigations" from 2012-16 -- all nothing burgers. Then we had the non-stop, pre-election M$M "Emailgate" headlines in 2016-- nothing burgers. Then we had the FBI/Weiner laptop non-scandal/October Surprise. Now we have the Bill Barr/Durham investigation nothing burgers. Meanwhile, where are the commentaries around here about real political crimes? How about revelations that Trump supported the lynching of Mike Pence on January 6th? That was a big story this week. Is Trump guilty of treason for supporting the murder of the U.S. Vice President? How about the news that Mark Meadows burned documents after a post-election meeting with Rep. Scott Perry? How about Meadows, Scott Perry, Jim Jordan, and Kevin McCarthy ducking Congressional subpoenas? Seditious conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding of Congress on January 6th is a felony with a 20 year prison sentence. Trump also attempted to alter election results in Georgia and other states. He's a felon. And he actively attacked/retaliated against a member of Congress this weekend (in Wyoming) for investigating his serious crimes.
  24. Paul, On the contrary, gun control has worked brilliantly to reduce homicide rates in the U.K. and throughout the civilized world, outside of the U.S. And sophisticated, multi-variate analyses have clearly established beyond any reasonable doubt that America's singularly elevated gun homicide rate is a result of gun access/availability. So, please, let's dispense with these idiotic, nonsensical NRA memes on the "Educated Forum." The libertarian NRA cheerleaders trot them out after every mass shooting catastrophe in the U.S.
  25. Well said, Joe. I had the same nauseated reaction to Don the Con's Traveling Sh*t Show in Casper, Wyoming yesterday. The Casper rally was mainly about destroying Liz Cheney's Congressional career for daring to participate in the Congressional investigation of Trump's January 6th coup attempt. The other House Republicans (other than Kinzinger) are saying as little as possible and/or ducking subpoenas. Meanwhile, I notice that Jeff Carter is still engaging in his usual pro-Kremlin pettifoggery. What can we say about a guy who has insisted that Putin didn't interfere in our elections to put Trump in the White House, that Kilimnik wasn't a GRU asset, that Trump didn't attempt a coup on January 6th, and that Putin didn't intend to invade Ukraine? On historical issues relating to Putin and Trump, Jeff is batting zero.
