  1. We're now approaching the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and, coincidentally, the end of the 20 year war in Afghanistan, which was launched on the pretext of retaliating for 9/11. Unfortunately, our mainstream media is simply repeating the 9/11 Osama Bin Laden mythology. Here's a classic reference paper by David Ray Griffin exploring the dubious connection(s) between 9/11 and Afghanistan. One of the most compelling references is #17-- about the July 2001 Berlin oil pipeline conference in which Bush administration officials reportedly told Taliban officials, “Either you accept our offer of a carpet of gold, or we bury you under a carpet of bombs.” Worth reviewing. The Invasion of Afghanistan, October 7, 2001: Did 9/11 Justify the War in Afghanistan? https://www.globalresearch.ca/did-9-11-justify-the-war-in-afghanistan/19891
  2. Ben, I've never been a Cheney fan, far from it, but my impression is that Liz Cheney has been appropriately appalled by the conduct of some of her Republican colleagues in Congress-- Kevin McCarthy, Mo Brooks, Jim Jordan, Paul Gosar, Lauren Boebert, Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, et.al.-- who endorsed Trump's Big Lie about election fraud and incited mob violence on January 6th. She, reportedly, scolded Jim Jordan in the Capitol during the January 6th attacks for his role in the inciting the insurrection. The fact that Liz is a Cheney doesn't mean that everything she does is part of a Deep State/Halliburton plot. In this case, she's, apparently, standing up for the rule of law-- and being anathematized by the Trump GOP for doing so.
  3. This brings to mind James DiEugenio's comments about "Hallin's spheres," and subjects that are considered "deviant" in public discourse and media-- beyond the pale. Spike Lee crossed the line by trying to talk about one of the gaping holes in the official government narrative about 9/11 -- i.e., the evidence that the WTC skyscrapers were actually demolished by explosives. On the 20th anniversary of 9/11 this month, it looks like we'll be witnessing the usual litany of gut-wrenching stories about the 9/11 tragedy, without any meaningful analyses of the gaping holes in the official mythology. In our contemporary culture, such analyses are still considered deviant, even offensive.
  4. Ben, To clarify, what I said about WaPo in particular, is that they seem to cover the political news well, except in matters pertaining to covert CIA and military ops. But, frankly, I don't believe that the January 6th Trump mob attack on Congress was a "Deep State" op of any kind. Cui bono? In what conceivable sense would the "Deep State" have benefited from the January 6th attacks--unless there were people in the "Deep State" who wanted to block the certification of Biden's election? Meanwhile, the claim that the FBI has found "scant evidence of coordination" of the January 6th attacks is, apparently, incorrect. And Trump, Kevin McCarthy, Jim Jordan, et.al., are freaking out about an investigation of their January 6th phone records-- even to the extent that they have threatened telecom companies who comply with the request for records.
  5. Ben, I was thinking of that statement by William Colby back in the 1970s.
  6. Ben, My impression was that this Kevin McCarthy/Reuters report about the FBI and January 6th never passed the sniff test. Today, the Congressional committee investigating January 6th has confirmed that it does, in fact, stink. 🤥 https://january6th.house.gov/news/press-releases/thompson-cheney-statement-mccarthy-s-january-6th-misinformation-campaign
  7. Ben, Should this thread be re-titled, "Vox Joins the Paid Crowd?" 🤥
  8. Jim, Here's a quote about Lansdale and Texas from a March 2015 Education Forum post by Steven Gaal. "Among Lansdale's letters, John Newman and David Lifton found a slip of paper that has "The Texas Hotel" on it and a phone number in Denton. Lansdale's letters also reveal that he was headed in the direction of Dallas in November 1963.91 Lansdale wrote to a number of friends and associates beginning in September 1963, of his intention to go to Texas in November. There are as many as ten letters, according to Newman, where he described this upcoming trip to two people. One was his son. The other one was General "Hangin' Sam" Williams, an old buddy and McGarr's predecessor in Vietnam. He lived in San Antonio.92 The last piece of paper that Newman found placing Lansdale physically in Washington is dated November 14, 1963. It concerns running errands for his wife. After that there is no record of his whereabouts except for a box of incidentals, which had this piece of paper in it. It has on it "Texas Hotel" and "Denton" and a name and phone number. As Newman said, "That might be from 1949 or it might be 1968 and again it might be November 1963. Because the Texas Hotel is where Kennedy stayed the night before he died, and Denton, Texas is just north here of Dallas, it all fits in. "
  9. I suspect that Rupert Murdoch's WSJ reports of Biden's demise have been greatly exaggerated. My question. Where were all of these alarmed, Republican Afghanistan experts last year when Trump and Pompeo surrendered to the Taliban-- without consulting the Afghan government-- and released 5,000 Taliban leaders from prison? Trump even invited the Taliban to Camp David on September 11, 2020, before he was talked into cancelling the invitation.
  10. Interesting. From what I've read on the subject, there is a great deal of 9/11 evidence that was never released by the FBI. 1) The FBI never released the confiscated exterior security cam footage of the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon. 2) They detained the "Five Dancing Israeli" Mossad agents (arrested at the George Washington Bridge on 9/11) for 70 days, but only released photos of the five young men celebrating the demolition of WTC1 and WTC2 in Liberty Park after a protracted FOIA lawsuit. 3) They never released the documentary evidence showing that the alleged Barbara Olson "box cutter" phone calls from American Airlines Flight 77 never actually happened (except in FBI court testimony in the Moussaoui trial.) 4) They never released any evidence linking Osama Bin Laden to 9/11. 5) They, obviously, never released any FBI files indicating that Bin Laden was working for the U.S. government before and after 9/11-- as claimed by FBI translator Sibel Edmonds.
  11. All three were, obviously, involved in the systematic cover up of the assassination plot. One of the most striking things about the JFK assassination plot, IMO, is the fact that it has been systematically covered up for the past 57 years in our mainstream media, and by the serial murders of key witnesses. What government agency has that kind of sustained power and ability to control the M$M narrative? In fact, I'm still waiting for some honest, accurate U.S. M$M coverage of Oliver Stone's new film. As for the execution of the Dealey Plaza op, people on this thread still seem to be overlooking the likelihood that Ed Lansdale was Allen Dulles's key black ops expert in Dealey Plaza, as Fletcher Prouty surmised. Let's not forget that Prouty was one of the few Joint Chiefs/CIA insiders who ever talked about what he had observed in the fall of 1963. IMO, there is a good reason why propagandists like John McAdams worked so hard to discredit Prouty's reputation and observations as the 1963 Joint Chiefs liaison to the CIA for Special Operations.
  12. This is pure bunk-- a type of straw man-- written and published to discredit the evidence of explosive demolitions, and to conceal the identities of the people who blew up the WTC on 9/11. As propaganda, I would liken it to the forged letter that was used to discredit Dan Rather's attempts to expose George W. Bush's history of going AWOL from the Texas National Guard.
  13. Another bogus article about the recent M$M attacks on Spike Lee for interviewing the Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth in his HBO series. This one is from The Guardian. Notice how the author erroneously refers to the corporate M$M attacks on Lee as a "public...uproar" -- as if the public had any role in attacking Spike Lee! Then he proceeds to associate the Architects & Engineers with "tinfoil hat" QAnon conspiracy theorists. Why is Spike Lee’s 9/11 docuseries so controversial? His new HBO series has been re-edited after backlash over featuring 9/11 ‘truthers’ – but a thread of distrust remains https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2021/sep/01/spike-lee-nyc-epicenters-9-11-hbo-documentary-series September 1, 2021
  14. Curtis LeMay, certainly, had a bizarre love of bombs. He orchestrated the genocidal fire bombing of Tokyo and other Japanese cities in WWII. I think he may have also supervised the annihilation of Pyong Yang during the Korean War. And, if I recall correctly from Oliver Stone's Untold History, he was hell bent on bombing Cuba back to the Stone Age in October of 1962-- while simultaneously nuking China and the U.S.S.R.
  15. Well said, Kirk. The military-industrial-media complex's short-term focus on relentlessly bashing Joe Biden for the epilogue of this 20 year Bush-Cheney fiasco in Afghanistan is misleading at best. We wasted $2 trillion dollars on this 20 year war, while bombing Afghanistan back to the Stone Age. For what? Our puppet government in Kabul was hopelessly corrupt. President Ashraf Ghani fled to Dubai with $169 U.S. taxpayer dollars in his bank accounts, and the Afghan Army folded like a house of cards-- beginning after Trump's surrender to the Taliban last year. Afghanistan collapsed because corruption had hollowed out the state The Afghan state was held together by theft, extortion, and nepotism at the highest levels www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2021/aug/30/afghanistan-us-corruption-taliban
  16. I agree with all of the above, but I also believe that Allen Dulles's favorite black ops guy, General Ed Lansdale, belongs on the list-- as Prouty believed. Oddly, Prouty never had much to say about Lansdale's relationship with General Curtis LeMay-- but surely those two high level USAF officers must have had some sort of working relationship in 1963. In any case, Lansdale had a close relationship with Dulles, and with the anti-Castro Operation Mongoose squad, before conveniently "retiring" on November 1, 1963.
  17. David, IMO, there's something far more nefarious going on this week with the truly historic M$M attacks on, and censorship of, Spike Lee's HBO interviews with the Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth. What the perpetrators of the 9/11 op fear isn't the "besmirchment...of (heroic) people of substance," who were killed on 9/11, etc. What they fear is the public learning about the scientific evidence that the World Trade Center skyscrapers were, in fact, demolished by pre-planted explosives on 9/11. In other words, they fear the debunking of their 9/11 narrative/myth/psy op -- their New Pearl Harbor/Operation Northwoods type event that shocked and terrorized the American public into funding their multi-trillion dollar "War on Terror."
  18. Doug, One of the problems that I ha Doug, One of the problems that I have with Esper's argument here is that, from what I have read, the surrender of Afghan Army units to the Taliban started in some areas of the country in early 2020, after the Trump-Taliban treaty was signed (in February.) By the time of Biden's inauguration, U.S. troop levels had been reduced to a mere 2,500, and Biden was still in the process of getting a Cabinet appointed and getting up to speed on the Pentagon intel that Trump and Chris Miller had refused to share with Biden's transition team in December and January. Trump, himself, publicly bragged as recently as June of this year that Biden "couldn't stop" his (Trump's) Afghanistan withdrawal process. It would, certainly, have required a major reversal of the Trump-Esper withdrawal process. And now, today, we have Lara Trump asking on Fox News how we ever became allied with the Taliban! Hello. It reminds me a bit of Eisenhower's Bay of Pigs op being fobbed off on JFK in '61. Lara Trump tells Fox News she can't figure out how the US became allied with the Taliban https://www.rawstory.com/lara-trump-afghanistan-taliban-terrprism/
  19. Corbett is great. One of the few who has accurately reported on the 9/11 evidence. Here's the latest from the Architects & Engineers news board. Needless to say, this story will be completely blacked out of the M$M. Censored 9/11 Family Members Call on HBO to Restore Final Episode of Spike Lee Series https://www.ae911truth.org/news/768-censored-9-11-family-members-call-on-hbo-to-restore-final-episode-of-spike-lee-series
  20. Incidentally, Ed Asner, who died today at age 91, was a dedicated supporter of the Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth. Here is Ed narrating a video about the demolition of WTC7 on 9/11.
  21. Fact check: Biden didn't 'gift' weapons to Taliban https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2021/08/25/fact-check-biden-didnt-gift-taliban-weapons/8197978002/
