"Kennedy’s Presidency Accomplished Little,..."
JFK prevented the Joint Chiefs from starting WW 3 by foiling their plan to launch a preemptive nuclear strike on the USSR and China. That's enough of an accomplishment in my book.
Even after almost six decades the Power Elite fear JFK.
Where we ask no quarter, and no quarter do we giveWe're right down the street from the street where you liveThey mutilated his body and they took out his brainWhat more could they do? They piled on the painBut his soul's not there where it was supposed to be atFor the last fifty years they've been searchin' for that...
-Bob Dylan
Unfortunately, I have to agree. Time has always been on the side of the perpetrators. If only what John Lennon said was true: "...time wounds all heels." Alas...
Admittedly, that's pretty painful to hear, but in Dylan's defense, it has to be difficult to perform well when you find yourself saddled with two drunken Rolling Stones and a big band backstage practicing "We Are The World"...
When I listen to Dylan's guitar playing on the outakes from the Blood On The Tracks Bootleg Series and on the two acoustic albums of the mid 90's I think that he's an excellent guitarist. Dylan even appeared at the Guitar Hero's Festival in Saville, Spain, in 1991 along with Richard Thompson.
“Bob is not authentic at all. He’s a plagiarist, and his name and voice are fake. Everything about Bob is a deception.”

Every Grain Of Sand appeared on 1981's Shot Of Love. Infidels came out two years later. The next installment of The Bootleg Series is rumored to be from the Infidels sessions.

After reading this article I began to wonder if, after JFK rejected Operation Northwoods, the authors of that insanity decided to assassinate JFK and use the event as the fuse that would lead to the invasion of Cuba and perhaps a nuclear war with the USSR.
I've read that JCS at the time believed that a nuclear war was "winnable".
