  1. Hah I responded accidentally when I was reading but because I can't delete my automatic reply, I'll ask what is the sample size of this poll?
  2. Wow, very Sad. Rest in peace sir and thank you for your contributions.
  3. I ordered and just started reading "Prayer Man". Bart's research into the employees of the TSBD and the 2nd floor encounter is extraordinary and fascinating! @James DiEugenio that was a great review of his book on K&K. We need more people like Bart in this community so other people can digitalize and preserve older researcher's files for the next generation of researchers in the meticulous way Bart has with Malcom Blunt's files. Groden is an example of someone who has countless files and films disorganized in his basement that need to be digitized and shared with the research community so that we can possibly add some more pieces to the puzzle!
  4. @Larry Hancock The Hotel looks amazing! Let us know if there are any special hotel rates for presenters or attendees when you find out! Thanks
  5. Agreed, Total rubbish. GDM was in Haiti in October 1963 trying to push Clemard Joseph Charles as a replacement for Duvalier. I doubt he was facilitating LHO's job hunt with Ruth lol.
  6. Hi everyone! I am currently doing some research on the "Gay Nineties" club in Dallas which was a private gay club in the 1960's in Dallas. To my knowledge, this club came up twice in the JFKA. The first mention was when Jack Ruby told the WC when looking for food to bring to the DPD, "I drove by another club called the Gay Nineties, and they were closed." The second time it came up was when the FBI was looking into Marina's "business manager" James Herbert Martin in late February 1964 after Marina and her kids moved out of the Martin home after Robert Oswald discovered their affair that occurred during their trip to the Warren Commission in DC. James Herbert Martin was the manager at the Six Flags Motel where the Secret Service had Marina and her kids held up before they curiously allowed her to move into the Martin home in December just a week or two after the JFKA. James Herbert Martin also admitted in his WC testimony to knowing Jack Ruby as they both worked in the nightclub scene (his explanation is attached). I was doing some digging and the only picture of the gay nineties club I could find wasn't in Dallas, but was in Shreveport, Louisiana and it opened in September 1959 (according to a flier I found). So, I looked up where Shreveport was and to my surprise it was dead center of the route someone would take to go from New Orleans to Dallas. Are these clubs connected? Could this have been a meeting point for operatives between these two cities and / or just a place to stay and "freshen up" along the way? If anyone knows anything more about this club or can shed any context on this curious connection and location, I would be greatly appreciative!! I attached the picture of the club in Shreveport, a map showing its location in relation to Dallas and N.O., a screenshot of JHM's reference to his relationship with Ruby to the WC and a screenshot of the FBI document that confirms JHM's employment there. Thanks - Joe B
  7. Hah Yes we have a running list of over a dozen J Martins now I believe. A few of these martins seem to pop in at the perfect time to complete a certain task and then disappear. Some are real people with documented ancestry. Since this thread is about John Martin, I’ll share a document about another Johnny Martin I found. This character hooked up with Silvio Odio’s sister Serita, ran a coin operated laundry store in Dallas “and came out of nowhere” my favorite quote haha and then randomly offered the Odio sisters arms for the fight against Castro. You really can’t make this stuff up. And if you really want to go into a 🐇 🕳️ look up Marina’s “agent” James Herbert Martin who testified to the WC, knew Ruby and cashed in so much $$$ by representing Marina and helping her with “overseas book deals”. This guy JH Martin literally worked at the six flags motel but had all these international contacts? The fu€kery is off the charts when it comes to J Martins associated with the assassination.
  8. I think Craford is by far the most viable non Oswald suspect for the Tipping Killing. Also he literally left Dallas the next day for Michigan. My guess is because Oswald was captured alive Ruby tasked Craford to kill him in police custody and he was like screww that and bolted out of town. Then After Craford's sudden departure the responsibility of the hit fell onto Ruby.
  9. It definitely could be! But unfortunately if it is her, it doesn't look like she has any surviving children or siblings.
  10. Agreed her disappearance is fascinating. Is it possible she just changed her name after the threats I'm sure she received ? Its not like her name was John Martin or anything so you'd think she'd be easier to track down with a rare first name like Aquilla .
  11. This is probably the most laughable thing I've read all week.
  12. Good point I’m sure it was chaotic and he probably regretted that decision not to inquire more for the rest of his life. I didn’t know they upgraded their badges and ID’s after the JFKA but it makes sense. Roy Hargraves was known to have fake SS Identification.
  13. My guess is because the results of that examination didn’t or wouldn’t have fit their narrative that Oswald was the killer of Tippit. i think Craford is a fascinating and very likely suspect in the Tippett murder. I think he was tasked with killing Oswald but then fled town once he realized it would be a suicide mission to kill him in police custody. Then that responsibility fell to Ruby after Craford left. In the mobs eyes if you were given a task and then delegated that task to someone else and they messed it up, it’s on you and you have to answer to the bosses. It makes sense that he would possibly throw out the gun on the way to the highway because he really wouldn’t need it on his cross country drive up north (to like Minnesota or something right?) once he left Dallas. Great work Greg I was never aware of this other 38.
  14. Thanks yea the guy in the gifs definitely doesn’t fit the description of the guy Joe Smith described. My question is if it was obvious “it didn’t ring true” why didn’t officer Smith stop the guy with the dirty fingernails for more questioning ? One of the many frustrating parts about this case.
  15. Yes this is what I was looking for!!! Thanks for everyone’s replies and for finding it for me. The Video is more grainy then I remember. He looks similar to the guy in the Hughes film at 57 seconds except he doesn’t have a trench coat over his arm but has the same light colored hat. I always thought he could have been the one flashing the SS credentials on the knoll before the shooting. Do you guys think the guy looking back with the trench coat over his arm is possibly the same one in the Hughes at 57 seconds? If so what did he do with his coat?
