Chris Davidson
Robert, CE884 distance from extant Z249-313 is 55.3ft. Front end of CameraCar#3 at Z249 is 128ft from the County Records Building corner. At Z313, CameraCar #3 would have to travel 128ft in 64 Zframes to have it's front bumper even with the County Records Building corner before it made any type of turn onto Elm St. 64frames @18.3fps= 3.49seconds. 128ft/3.49 seconds = 36.67ft per sec = 24.94mph. Please keep in mind, distances traveled in relationship to frames elapsed. chris
Pat Speer
Pat can you indicate where HUGHES was located when he filmed the footage? HUGHES location does not alter the location of Camera Car #2 as seen in the back ground of the Zapruder film in Z-245. The approximate location proposed for Camera Car #3 can not be far off from what has been posted. And with absolute certainty according to the WC/R theory two shots from a high powered rifle had already occurred by Z-245. Hughes' location is right there on the map you posted. If I recall this map was made by R.G. Cutler. When I took a hard look at this some years back I concluded the Hughes film ended around Z-190--Z-195. Dale Myers, as you probably know, spent some time matching up all the films, and he concluded it ended (a second or more, as I recall) before that. His analysis, I'm fairly certain, is still available on his website. A key for me, in my analysis, was matching up the LBJ back-up car's turn onto Elm in the Hughes film with its turn onto Elm in the Z-film. I found a frame in the Hughes film I thought matched Z-160, and then counted the frames after that to come up with Z-190--Z-195. Let's say Dale Myers has CameraCar #2 traveling at 9.1 mph average between extant Zframes 229-253 and CameraCar #3 is following at 8.31mph. That same 128ft distance to the County Records corner is now 128ft/12.21ft per sec (8.31mph) = 10.48seconds. Did you notice that 8.31 mph is 1/3 of 24.94mph. Then, Shaneyfelt told us the average speed of the limo was 11.2mph. Since 1/3 of 24.94 mph is 8.31 mph, the parallel would be 1/3 of 11.2mph = 3.73mph. If you will refer back to CE884, you will find that entries 168-171 has the limo traveling at 3.73 mph. If you understand this correlation, you are well on your way. chris
