Ramon F. Herrera
One of the very first webcams in history was inside the Sniper's Nest. In those days, IIRC, it did not have the protecting plastic. People complained about the lack of respect and it was taken off. I am glad that more than 20 years later, it is back. I recall that, because precisely at the time, we were working in the first political website in history, at MIT ca. 1992. It was just a bunch of position papers (ASCII text, no images at all), sent to us by Al Gore and Bill Clinton (in that order). -RFH "Al is the one who knows all about T1s and that kind of stuff, I am glad I can help" -President Clinton, in jeans, helping to wire a school. Chris Newton
helping to wire a school. There is nothing "technical" to pulling cat5 - it's hard, dirty work. About 10 years ago I was the IT Director of a litigation support company and I had decided to upgrade our offices from cat5 to cat6 so I pulled all the cable myself and had an electrician do the drops to the wallplates. While up in the drop ceiling, I found a five foot shed snake skin that caused quite a bit of consternation in the office for a long time. David Von Pein
Number of People Shot in the Head Who Move in the Same Direction as the Bullet: 100% Number of People Shot in the Head Who Move Against the Direction of the Bullet: 0% Number of bullet holes of entry in JFK's head --- 1. Location of the bullet hole of entry in JFK's head --- In the rear of the head. "In 1963, we proved at the autopsy table that President Kennedy was struck from above and behind by the fatal shot. The pattern of the entrance and exit wounds in the skull proves it, and if we stayed here until hell freezes over, nothing will change this proof. It happens 100 times out of 100, and I will defend it until I die. This is the essence of our autopsy, and it is supreme ignorance to argue any other scenario. This is a law of physics and it is foolproof--absolutely, unequivocally, and without question. The conspiracy buffs have totally ignored this central scientific fact, and everything else is hogwash. There was no interference with our autopsy, and there was no conspiracy to suppress the findings." -- Dr. James J. Humes; Interview with JAMA editor George D.
