I read this script a long time ago when a different director was attached to it.

It is complete non distinction. I knew it would get made because I know some top actress would do it just to get an Oscar nomination.

So its Portman. And that is about all she wrote.

Unless they altered in from when I read it, the script is worthless.

I read that when asked what was the toughest thing to deal with in her whole life after JFK was slaughtered Jackie responded..."Just keeping myself together."

Jackie Kennedy suffered a classic case of long term PTSD after 11/22/1963.

Portman has Jackie's voice inflections down you must admit.

I'm pretty certain that's a dramatization and a complete fabrication. Even if Valenti wrote a memo describing it, I'm sure the gist would have been more respectful.

But he was a douchebag and few would argue otherwise.
