Pat Speer
There was a late-night screening of a movie on Mrs. Paine at the CAPA Conference. It was low-budget but well put-together. The director said some who've seen it end up scratching their heads and not knowing what to think about her. I must admit I'm one of them. I hope the movie (Mrs. Paine and the Assassination) makes it to Netflix etc, so that people of all stripes can see it. Some of those who know nothing of the assassination will watch it and come out thinking there must be something to this conspiracy stuff. And some who watch it will come out thinking this poor woman was essentially a victim of fate. It's kind of like a Rorschach test.
Ron Ecker
Didn't Oswald say to leave her out of it? Leave her out of what, Lee?
Denny Zartman
I'd love to see the documentary and ask the director some questions. In my opinion, the Paines and George de Mohrenschildt are key to understanding the mechanics of the plot against JFK.
