'An extraordinary sum of money': Questions raised about millions spent on legal fees for Trump and close aides

by Tom Boggioni July 30, 2023,

https://www.rawstory.com/trump-legal-bills-2662597202/

“The tsunami of legal problems swamping Donald Trump has led to the PAC paying for his lawyers and lawyers representing a wide array of aides to shell out over $40 million in just the first half of the year with no end in sight.

That, in turn, had led to questions from investigators about the possible conflict of interest of the former president footing the legal expenses for potential witnesses to his alleged transgressions that are being scrutinized by the Department of Justice.

The report notes that possible witnesses are being grilled about who is paying their legal fees and why…”

Of greater concern are questions about how Trump's people decide whose bills they will pay.“

Trump is really decompensating lately, apparently, in response to all of the criminal indictments.

Creepy stuff.  Likely to precipitate deadly MAGA violence, IMO.

Charles Koch-Linked Group Raises $78 Million to Stop Trump (msn.com)

There are so many millionaire and billionaire types who lobby against taxation so they can spend outrageous sums purchasing GOP politicians, and satiating their lust for power.

All money right down the toilet.

The GOP will never elect another President as long as they continue to attach themselves to objectively awful people.

It's a numbers game, pure and simple.

At present, the Koch Machine doesn't really have a viable GOP Presidential candidate for 2024.

(Mike Pence has always been a Koch sucker, but no one likes him.)

DeSantis has face-planted.

I wonder if they'll try to bring back John Kasich.

And Ted Cruz is always waiting in the wings.

- Fox News host Laura Ingraham -

“Now, no one should really get hung up, as sometimes Republicans are want to do, on whether sufficient proof exists to convict Joe Biden of a financial crime. That’s irrelevant here,” she argued.

Pesky little thing proof is. Reality and facts are such a drag.
