If I'm reading correctly, the memos are about discussions by Lansdale about the insane infiltrations that were undertaken into Cuba in the middle of the missile crisis. This Cheever person died in 1990, yet his name has been redacted up until now. He is obviously important, as he sat in on a meeting in early Nov 1963 between the Kennedy brothers and CIA bigwigs. Speculating here, but it sounds like he held a position where he was above Harvey but below Helms. EDIT: He was a deputy of Harvey's: https://history.state.gov/historicaldocuments/frus1961-63v10/d377 Also, not sure what, if anything, it means, but his middle name is Bissell. I have no idea if the doc is fake or not. I suspect Lucien Emile "Lou" Conein and the US CIA were instrumental in the Diem assassination.
