In another segment of the film, taken within a few seconds of filming Edwards' being escorted over to the Sheriff's Department, he captured Brennan, Euins, and Brehm being escorted over to the Sheriff's Department.

That's a crop from a much large photo. It's the sniper's nest window. I'm assuming we can't see the window box because of the angle, but am open-minded if someone wants to try to re-create Allen's photo and prove the box should have been visible.

I don't suppose the uncropped version is availble somewhere??

By, I assume, SS agent Sorrels.  In his book, didn't Brennan say that Sorells took him over?

Excellent. Of course Brehm is seen waiting with Edwards at the Sheriff Dept. If we continue studying the photos, we should be able to work out the exact minutes when Decker, Fritz and Sorrels arrived at the TSBD.

I'm also thinking Tom Alyea may have heard the hollering, which may have prompted him to move to the 6th floor.

It's in the Allen Collection on the University of North Texas website. (I didn't crop it as much as I thought I had.)

When creating my database of witness statements, I realized that there was a jailer, I.C. Todd, who ran over from the jail to the knoll after the shooting, and then stayed outside the depository for awhile before returning to the jail. This led me to believe he is the man with Edwards, and that he is escorting him over to the jail to give a statement. Unfortunately, Todd makes no mention of corralling any witnesses as he returned to the jail. He does mention being outside the depository when someone yelled down from an upper floor about finding three bullets, however, and this suggests he was outside the TSBD around 12:50. So if I had to guess I'd place that footage around 12:50.

That’s not Todd. I watched his 6FM Oral History and it’s not him. Stephen who interviewed him said he can be seen with his buddy Al Maddox. I think I have the photo he’s talking about.

If you have a confirmed name of the Sheriff Dept person escorting Edwards, I'll update the photos and info. Or if you can show its not Todd, I'll update and call him an unknown guy from the Sheriff's Dept. Thanks.

Like Brennan & the shooter shooting--he thought that he was standing--I at first thought McCurley was standing.  But he must be kneeling.  What time about was this taken?  And it was taken while Hill's window was still closed?

And I assume that he was kneeling in order to look through the window.  The Portal seems to mis-identify the man as a "Dallas Police detective".  Or can sheriff's deputies also be called police?

I initially thought this was cropped from an Allen photo of the TSBD where the Hill window is closed. But after tracking it down on the UNT site, I realize that it was from a different Allen photo taken of just the one window. I also came across a power point slide on which I compared the shadows on the building in the Hill photo and McCurley photo, on which I concluded the photos were taken within a short time of each other, maybe a minute or two.

I forget, do we have a confirmed time for the Hill photo? I think I placed it around 1:10.

1:10 sounds about right, 2 minutes before Lt. Day got to the depository.  (Hill says that he got downstairs and out front just as Day was arriving.)  Although, in another thread, I tried to coordinate the movements--as reported, by Hill, Day, & Sawyer--of the latter three individuals, and it seemed as if the Hill shout might have been even a few minutes later.  (Sims & Boyd of Homicide placed the discovery of the shells at 1:15, 10 minutes or so after the fact.)  Walt Cakebread used to use shadows to determine the time of various photos of the building.

Sprague says 12:55. 2 photos later show Larry Florer.
