David Boylan
23 hours ago, Ron Bulman said: I thought I'd read somewhere Helms directly replaced the contact with DRE with Joannides. With an open direct line of communication to him, in spite of the chain of command. Which implies to me, Angleton was kept directly informed of operations and developments. Nutty thoughts? Ron, let me give you a full response tomorrow. Helms put Joannides in place of Ross Crozier due to pressure from higher authority. The DRE was causing concern due to their escapades during and after the Cuban Missile Crises. We had just come back from the brink of nuclear war. Leslie Sharp
@David Boylan Is there any chance we can get back on topic, CARL TRETTIN, or do we need to examine the hierarchy further before considering his history with the agency in Europe prior to arriving on the scene in 1963? Do we have an organigram of Trettin's role within COG? How might his history in Berlin and Munich dovetail with William King Harvey's ZRRIFLE; how does Trettin's handling of Guitart impact our understanding of the Odio incident; was Trettin in frequent contact with Henry Hecksher; is AMWORLD worth revisiting, etc.

I had to delete 10 just to get in under the limit. 🙂 Plus I was going to miss happy hour! I heard JFK Lancer had technical issues recording your presentation and it is now lost to history. In light of this, would you consider doing the presentation again and perhaps releasing it for free? Project JFK or DPUK on Youtube would be glad, i'm sure, to give you a slot on their monthly show to present this important work on the Odio incident. David Boylan
The CIA had used their degausser gun to erase the audio on Odio. 🙂 Sure, if asked I can represent the Odio incident.
