Jonathan Cohen
Entirely consistent with Zapruder and every other film from Dealey Plaza that day.
Joseph McBride
Jonathan, you should know what you wrote is false. For one thing, you see Jacqueline Kennedy get nearly all the way to the end of the limousine's trunk next to Clint Hill in the Nix film, and in the Zapruder film she does not get that far. Again, the role you set for yourself on this forum is to post these kneejerk negative one-liners without elaboration or proof. They are a waste of time and amount to disinformation. You seem a little confused. There are different perspectives at play here.
Joseph McBride
Not true, Mark. You can measure the distance she travels in both films -- and look at her in relation to the trunk in the two films. The difference is quite obvious. Your diagram is false.

My diagram was intended to illustrate a concept (which I think it does reasonably well). You can probably make decent estimates of the distances, but you need to take the angles into account. Can you tell us more about any specific measurements you had in mind?
Joseph McBride
Mark, since you indicate that your diagram was more conceptual than realistic, I think it would be a valuable exercise for you to do the calculations yourself using the contrasting Nix and Zapruder films and then share the data with us for our scrutiny and edification. Shifting the onus, aren't we?
Joseph McBride
Hmm, that's what I thought you were doing. Well, someone should pull out his ruler and go to work on it.
Sean Coleman
I’m not a great believer in ZF alteration, but I can see how this looks fishy. Matched up Clint’s leg on the deck as best I could on both pics and it does seem there is a difference…..
Paul Bacon
Joseph, what you've said here is completely true and is something I never noticed before. You are correct and it's very obvious. I certainly don't need any angle measurements or calculations to see the obvious!

People have been trying in vain for decades to find inconsistencies in the photographic record. I'm quite satisfied that the films are depicting the same scenes, only from different perspectives. Paul Bacon
It's really very simple. In the Nix film, Jackie's hand goes over the back of the trunk. In the Z-film, she only gets about 2/3 down the trunk. Ergo, frame removal in the Z-film. I'm not even sure it's worth pointing it out in this thread--denial is afoot...
