In addition to the FBI reports on Whitter and Miller, (# 1 in Marina's letter), I'd like to see the trial transcripts. I don't think they have ever seen the light of day.

This letter clearly came from the work/research the LaFontaines had done - they were working closely and directly with Marina and they were also behind her request for Oswald's income tax materials. 

I'm not recommending the book per se but it gives extensive background as to the points in her letter so anyone interested in them should take a look at what they found and what they claimed as context for her letter.

I just viewed the Marina, LaFontaine interview by Oprah video. I have seen this before.

I noticed that this version only has 1,000 views.

Could you imagine if 5 million American citizens who actually care about our history and the truths of such major and effecting events as JFK's slaughter could see this video, what it would do to the annual polls asking Americans if they believed the Warren Report conclusion of a lone assassin and no conspiracy?

Regards the gun running story as reported by Ms. LaFontaine and even reported in the newspaper, we do have corroborating testimony that Jack Ruby was indeed involved in this. Nancy Hamilton, who used to work for Jack Ruby, stated she saw Ruby at a gun running meet up where he was identified as the "money man" in this operation, at least for this one meeting.

Joe,  I explored Ruby and the local Texas weapons dealing circa 1963 at length in SWHT/2010....largely based on initial leads from the LaFontaine's research but with lots of new documents they had not seen and also with documents from the 112th on the Terrell Army theft which is very key - including Ruby and a connection through his club with one of the suspects.

There are a host of leads showing Ruby was indeed involved in that theft and the transfer of the weapons...which would have brought him to the attention of several parties trying to do business with the Cuban exiles that were the target of a sting being run by the FBI and an Army source on the exiles attempts to buy weapons through Masen.

On December 1, 1963 Richard Borchgardt (who had appeared in a lineup alongside Lee Harvey Oswald) told Patrolman Kenneth Anderton that he had information that Jack Ruby was involved in a gun running scheme involving Lawrence Miller, et.al.

In November, 1963, Kenneth L. Anderton was a Patrolman in the Patrol Division, Second Platoon, Captained by Cecil Talbert. Partnered with John P. Adamcik.

In his after-action Report, Anderton said that on November 22^nd, he was on vacation, but that after JFK was shot, Lt. Wells called him and told him to report to work. When he got there, his partner, J. P. Adamcik was “out with other detectives”.

Police Officers Adamcik (7H202), Rose (7H227) and Stovall (7H186) are unanimous in saying that Captain Fritz dispatched them to Irving at 2:30 PM. They are also unanimous in saying that when they arrived at this address at about 3:00 PM, they had to wait for 35-40 minutes for the Deputy Sheriffs to arrive since Irving was outside their jurisdiction.

Anderton also took an affidavit from James Worrell.

Anderton and Adamcik talked to Floyd Davis, the owner of the Sportsdrome Gun Range on December 2, 1963. Mr. Harold Price, who worked for Mr. Davis told Davis that Oswald had been at the gun range on November 9^th, 10^th, and 17^th.

Though Anderton is listed in the Batchelor’s Exhibit 5002 as a Patrolman in the Patrol Division, his obituary said that he worked in Homicide.

Served in the US Marine Corp. as a flight instructor. After the service he joined and retired after 23 years of service with the Dallas Police Force in the homicide department where he was involved in the investigation during the time President Kennedy was assassinated . He left homicide and joined the intelligence division and was involved in many special projects, some with the FBI. He was a Master Mason at the East Dallas #1200 Lodge. After retirement he worked at Cornerstone Granite & Marble where he coordinated the building of the playground at Scottish Rite Hospital. Survived by his wife, Deane Anderton, son, Mark Anderton, step-sons, Michael Wayne & Patrick Wayne, half brother, Phillip Anderton.

I agree.  Marina was the star witness of the WC and she recanted.  That destroyed any possibility of credibility. Marina became useless to the Ongoing Coverup.  And even more serious -- she became a threat.  She was thinking for herself.  

I think that if there was any intelligence connection to the advent of Judyth Baker, it was for this reason.  Marina had to disappear from the consciousness of this country.  Judyth has don everything possible to make that happen, including outright slander and contacting Marina's children.  But I don't think Judyth did this on her own -- I think she is doing what Fetzer tells her to.

Thanks Pamela.  I'd never really thought of this aspect.  I always just thought Judyth was just self promoting.  Never considered she could be being directed, a plant to take away from Marina's changes in her stories.  Interesting.  Worth more thought and deeper digging.

I guess somebody's got to pay for here conferences.  Who?  Are they well attended?

I don't know anything about her conferences.  

When I first became involved with Judyth I too thought she was just very narcissistic.  However, over the seven years I knew her she would say things that did not make sense, such as "I was told you couldn't be trusted", and "why don't you ask me any questions?"  I gradually came to suspect that there was someone prompting her. Fetzer took me on long ago and he was her biggest backer at that time, so he gets my vote.  They are both nasty people in my book. And Judyth's treatment of Marina was vicious.  It was almost unfathomably ruthless.  I could not see any other reason for it than that Marina had to be completely discredited for some reason.  Marina's vocal recanting of the WCR is the only thing that makes sense to me.
