500 block is further south... which is why most maps cut off at Jefferson...
where Hill, Croy, Scoggins, and others were ...leading to Tippit. Is a fascinating study...
and, as mentioned above, also the location of El Chico restaurant.

FWIW, Life Mag made alterations to the original image to bring out or reduce detail in diff areas of the image, especially around the scope....
Shaneyfelt Exh 14... strangely, they use an Oswald Stand-in for some of the shirt photos...

If I remember correctly, The DPD substation which Hill speeds off to after seeing the ambulance is located at 500 Beckley...
In Whaley’s handwritten notes it says 500 block a number of times as the place dropped off
”when we get in the 500 block N Beckley he says this will do and I stopped and he got out....”
How many First statement corrections do want us to accept, when each change only serves to try and incriminate Ozzie?
It also says he proceeds SOUTH on Beckley.
Where does he say 700 in his sworn signed affidavit?

From the look of it, it was not a Mauser, or at least if there was a scope, it would have covered the word Mauser.
I believe I mention the Mauser came into being by Weitzman when he did not see or find a clip.... the clip was obtained at some later point.
Then again, maybe there was no scope...
the caption embedded is wrong... stripper clip does not go into the Carcano....

In short, the piece explains that the so called “Backyard photos” were being processed by Robert and Patricia Hester at the National Photography Laboratory in Oak Cliff long before they were officially “discovered,” and that the composite picture in the photo(s) is most likely Russian-speaking Harvey Oswald’s head placed on Roscoe White’s body, and that the whole Dial Ryder story was invented because initial prints of the backyard photos did not appear to show a scope mounted on the rifle.
This piece may not be in its final form yet. I just finished uploading it to the server an hour or two ago, but it is already a kick-ass read!
I truly hate raining on the parade.... as I agree on the discrepancies... but the bolt is open and moved closer to the rear of the rifle in the top image, whereas the bottom, look where the bolt is in relation to the scope. Also slightly different angles.FWIW... seemed to me the bolts were in diff positions... I was wrong.
other than different rifles, only the angles of the images could be causing the diff.
and I agree that ce139 was not the TSBD rifle....

Just to the left of the light pole you can see the red light of a wide turning motorcycle, Jackson I think.
Anyway, that’s about where Pos A is in relation to 133.... We agree that the SS car did not make that wide a turn and the limo reorient itself directly in front of them?
Would really like to hear one other witness describe that turn.... Towner should be a prime witness....

I had offered an idea to Chris a while back and I think he ran with it... That "133" is a completely arbitrary yet meaningful frame #.
It is my feeling that there were well more than 100 frames removed between 132 and 133 based on how long it takes for the motorcycle cop to make the wide turn onto Elm.To get the limo to Position A requires quite a wide turn... Look carefully at Z131 and see the 2 motorcycle cops...
CHRIS - IS IT A COINCIDENCE THAT THE CYCLE IN 131 AND THE LIMO IN 133 ARE IN EXACTLY THE SAME PLACE?(132 is blurry)

One real mystery is Chaney’s claim of gunning up to the lead car.... it’s repeated by 3 or 4 people.... but appears nowhere in the photographic evidence
Mr. HARGIS - I don't know whether it was the Secret Service car, and I remembered seeing Officer Chaney. Chaney put his motor in first gear and accelerated up to the front to tell them to get everything out of the way, that he was coming through, and that is when the Presidential limousine shot off, and I stopped and got off my motorcycle and ran to the right-hand side of the street, behind the light pole.

Seems to me the turn was a bit like this.... with a straight line from Position A to Z133... The Queen Mary could not have made the same wide turn to be where it was with the Limo at Z133.... Or Position A is a another Red herring...??

Looking at Position A and the lane lines... Does that look right to you?
Plus, if the turn was wide... wouldn't position C be higher up Houston...

So Truly's close call at Little Elm's curb and Position A were removed from Towner using techniques about which David Healy talks... the limo is matted and moved away from the curb...??
Here's the curb avoided in Couch or Darnell (I forget) with Towner superimposed...
If the limo actually passes thru Position A, it SHOULD be on Towner...

A zoom would bring all things closer and make them larger
If she ran toward the limo without changing zoom, everything gets bigger
Look at those frames slowly if you can... the limo slides left as the background grows....

To me Chris, the limo appears to be sliding sideways as a strange visual occurs...
I have a gif that shows this too but not the room to post it...
The column gets BIGGER yet the limo tire gets SMALLER... if you move back and forth in the film at this spot... it appears the limo slides to its left
as everything gets bigger in the background - everything but the limo....I have 2 insets in the bottom image from the top one... the column and the tire
How does the Column get bigger the farther away the limo goes??

This was another clue that Oswald was never there... the way AZCUE treats him... AZCUE does not "interview him to find out if they are (he is an) agents"

If you look at a map, Neches and Beckley do no intersect anywhere... Neches, the entire street, is NORTH of the rooming house and begins west of Zang.
Elsbeth and Neches intersect though... Whaley is asked to mark this exhibit with his route...

Well, I started up, I started to that address, and the police cars, the sirens was going, running crisscrossing everywhere, just a big uproar in that end of town and I said, "What the hell. I wonder what the hell is the uproar?"
And he never said anything. So I figured he was one of these people that don't like to talk so I never said any more to him.
But when I got pretty close to 500 block at Neches and North Beckley which is the 500 block, he said, "This will do fine," and I pulled over to the curb right there. He gave me a dollar bill, the trip was 95 cents. He gave me a dollar bill and didn't say anything, just got out and closed the door and walked around the front of the cab over to the other side of the street. Of course, traffic was moving through there and I put it in gear and moved on, that is the last I saw of him.
