  1. As horrible as the effects of the bombs were, they prevented estimated deaths of up to 1,000,000 American soldiers, had the U.S. conducted a ground war on mainland Japan. It was , sadly, a necessary evil. Terry
  2. Ed, All, I always felt something was very wrong with the harper fragment. First, that it was found the next day. and it had a bullet hole in it. Would the bullet not have caused another piece of the skull to be propelled out, rather than the area of the skull that it entered. Terry
  3. Jack, If the gun that Beverly is holding is the same make and model, it certainly adds strength to your argument that the "Oswald" rifle had a different mount for the leather strap than did hers. One can plainly see the mount( near the end of the stock, barrel end) on LHO's gun, and it clearly is not there on the one that she is holding. Terry
  4. As most know, Mr. Lane was the attorney for the newspaper in the E. Howard Hunt trial in Florida, where the jury found that the CIA was involved in the assassination of JFK. He says that Gerry Hemming told him that he was a shooter in Dealey Plaza. The enterview is fascinating. Anxious to hear your responses. Terry
  5. Bill, I know that you are actively seeking a grand jury investigation. Does this require a District attorney to bring the information in front of such a jury? And, would it not be a good idea that this be brought from Texas, possibly arguing jurisdiction? It has always been stated that the feds had no right to remove JFK's body, car, etc. from dallas, as it was supposed to be a murder case tried locally, by the laws that were in place in 1963. Terry
  6. over 1,000 new members have come aboard. I am just curious as to the average age of the new members to the forum. What I'm really attempting to ascertain is whether the newer members are younger. The purpose being ; will a new generation continue in the fight for the truth, or will it end as we "old foggies" move on to the next level? Terry
  7. Steve, It seems that you are you of the opinion that LBJ, and Hoover (as well as others) only participated after the fact. I feel very strongly that Johnson was in this from the very onset, or at least was brought into it very early on, and eagerly gave his blessings. I personally think that LBJ said that he would love to have this problem (JFK) go away, and found many who were eager to help. Would like to hear your thoughts. Terry
  8. This is refreshing!!! Sentence of Reid Remember the guy who got on a plane with a bomb built into his shoe and tried to light it? Did you know his trial is over? Did you know he was sentenced? Did you see/hear any of the judge's comments on TV or Radio? Didn't think so. Everyone should hear what the judge had to say. Ruling by Judge William Young, US District Court. Prior to sentencing, the Judge asked the defendant if he had anything to say. His response: After admitting his guilt to the court for the record, Reid also admitted his "allegiance to Osama bin Laden, to Islam, and to the religion of Allah," defiantly stating, "I think I will not apologize for my actions," and told the court "I am at war with your country." Judge Young then delivered the statement quoted below: January 30, 2003, United States vs. Reid. Judge Young: "Mr. Richard C. Reid, hearken now to the sentence the Court imposes upon you. On counts 1, 5 and 6 the Court sentences you to life in prison in the custody of the United States Attorney General. On counts 2, 3, 4 and 7, the Court sentences you to 20 years in prison on each count, the sentence on each count to run consecutively. (That's 80 years.) On count 8 the Court sentences you to the mandatory 30 years again, to be served consecutively to the 80 years just imposed. The Court imposes upon you for each of the eight counts a fine of $250,000 that's an aggregate fine of $2 million. The Court accepts the government's recommendation with respect to restitution and orders restitution in the amount of $298.17 to Andre Bousquet and $5,784 to American Airlines . The Court imposes upon you an $800 special assessment. The Court imposes upon you five years supervised release simply because the law requires it. But the life sentences are real life sentences so I need go no further. This is the sentence that is provided for by our statutes. It is a fair and just sentence. It is a righteous sentence. Now, let me explain this to you. We are not afraid of you or any of your terrorist co-conspirators, Mr. Reid. We are Americans. We have been through the fire before. There is too much war talk here and I say that to every-one with the utmost respect. Here in this court, we deal with individuals as individuals and care for individuals as individuals. As human beings, we reach out for justice. You are not an enemy combatant. You are a terrorist. You are not a soldier in any war. You are a terrorist. To give you that reference, to cal l you a soldier, gives you far too much stature. Whether the officers of government do it or your attorney does it, or if you think you are a soldier. You are not----- you are a terrorist. And we do not negotiate with terrorists. We do not meet with terrorists. We do not sign documents with terrorists. We hunt them down one by one and bring them to justice. So war talk is way out of line in this court. You are a big fellow. But you are not that big. You're no warrior. I've known warriors. You are a terrorist. A species of criminal that is guilty of multiple attempted murders. In a very real sense, State Trooper Santiago had it right when you first were taken off that plane and into custody and you wondered where the press and the TV crews were, and he said: "You're no big deal." You are no big deal. What your able counsel and what the equally able United States attorneys have grappled with and what I have as honestly as I know how tried to grapple with, is why you did something so horrific. What was it that led you here to this courtroom today? I have listened respectfully to what you have to say. And I ask you to search your heart and ask yourself what sort of unfathomable hate led you to do what you are guilty and admit you are guilty of doing? And, I have an answer for you. It may not satisfy you, but as I search this entire record, it comes as close to understanding as I know. It seems to me you hate the one thing that to us is most precious. You hate our freedom. Our individual freedom. Our individual freedom to live as we choose, to come and go as we choose, to believe or not believe as we individually choose. Here, in this society, the very wind carries freedom. It carries it everywhere from sea to shining sea. It is because we prize individual freedom so much that you are here in this beautiful courtroom. So that everyone can see, truly see, that justice is administered fairly, individually, and discretely. It is for freedom's sake that your lawyers are striving so vigorously on your behalf, have filed appeals, will go on in their representation of you before other judges. We Americans are all about freedom. Because we all know that the way we treat you, Mr. Reid, is the measure of our own liberties. Make no mistake though. It is yet true that we will bare any burden; pay any price, to preserve our freedoms. Look around this courtroom. Mark it well. The world is not going to long remember what you or I say here. The day after tomorrow, it will be forgotten, but this, however, will long endure. Here in this courtroom and courtrooms all across America, the American people will gather to see that justice, individual justice, justice, not war, individual justice is in fact being done. The very President of the United States through his officers will have to come into courtrooms and lay out evidence on which specific matters can be judged and juries of citizens will gather to sit and judge that evidence democratically, to mold and shape and refine our sense of justice. See that flag, Mr. Reid? That's the flag of the United States of America. That flag will fly there long after this is all forgotten. That flag stands for freedom. And it always will. Mr. Custody Officer. Stand him down. So, how much of this Judge's comments did we hear on our TV sets? I personally heard almost nothing. I would appreciate any and all comments. This just made me feel that there is still hope. Terry
  9. Stephen, Do we explain all of this away as "not wanting to cause Mrs. Kennedy more pain'. Or, was the head and brain in too bad a shape to even be examined properly. For instance, could the scalp have even been shaved. I am in reference to the "flurry of shots". Was there even a head , or brain, for that matter, to do an autopsy on? I keep coming back to the same thought, this was the President of the United States, for God's sake. A homeless person would have been given a more complete autopsy. We watch the new CSI shows on television, and they show that the autopsy tells everything. Dr. Henry Lee says that the body (and the crime scene) provides all of the answers. There is no justification for what went on that day. Everyone should have wanted to leave no stone unturned. Instead, we are left 40+ years later to continue asking "WHY" Terry
  10. The "Plan for a Coup in Cuba" was fully authorized by JFK and personally run by Robert Kennedy. Only about a dozen people in the US government knew the full scope of the plan, all of whom worked for the military or the CIA, or reported directly to Robert. The Kennedys' plan was prepared primarily by the US military, with the CIA playing a major supporting role. Would not this "dozen or so" be the very people that we should be looking at. Secrets are best kept by only letting the least number of people know. Who are these people? Do the authors of "Ultimate Sacrifice" name them? We know that RFK felt that someone in that group had his brother murdered. "If" JFK had agreed to the overthrow of Castro, then the only reason that a representative of the U.S.was in Havana, meeting with the Cuban president on 11-22-63, was to give the impression that all was well. I do not accept this. I do not believe that JFK knew anything about such plans. He said he would not attack Cuba, and he did not make such a statement just to appease the Russians. He meant it ! He was moving toward normalization of relations with Castro's government. Terry
  11. Jack, Has any other newspapers, magazines written about Bush's sexual orientation, that you are aware of? This is the first that I have seen. Sorry that this has nothing to do with the JFK assassination, but, I also stand for morality in government. Terry
  12. Wim, would you have access to the rest of that enterview with Chauncey Holt? thanks, Terry
  13. Ron, I'm not familiar with Sprague's book, but how could such a WWII hero be part of the conspiracy to kill JFK? The kind of person (patriot) that Mr. Gabaldon seemed to be and planning to kill the president do not mesh IMO. My father served in WWII, where he received 3 purple hearts, a bronze star and silver star medal He had great admiration for the president. I think that much of that admiration had to do with JFK's wartime service. Terry
  14. Ron, Maybe you just found what has been wrong with W all the time. He is debating himself (the one that drinks, possibly?) You know when he does that famous "uuuh", he may be listening to drunk W. Terry
  15. John, that is the firt time that I have read the dates of the CIA-Oswald- Mohrenschildt association. (causing another one of those darned coincidences). People have always wondered why someone of Mohrenschildt's background would be socializing with LHO. Upon hearing of the assassination, he was quoting as saying something to the effect of "I certainly hope Lee is not the one" IMO, Oswald would have told Mohrenschildt his feelings about JFK, and probably, in an effort to impress, some information beyond the Walker shooting. (If we are to believe Marina) I'm wondering that when he agreed to the enterview with Epstein in 1972, if he were actually planning to tell more than some people would have wanted to be known. (He was certainly in a bad financial situation, something he was not accustomed to). Do you know if he had been paid for the enterview before his untimely demise. Terry
  16. Dr. Finck said that he had done hundreds of autopsies. It would be difficult to address the particulars of one autopsy, given that he had done so many. That is, unless the one autopsy on which he participated on Nov. 22, 1963 was different, in some way, than all the others. That difference being, the autopsy was done on the President of the United States. I find it disgusting the number of times that he used, " I don't Know" or " I can't remember" as answers to direct questions. The events of that night, the measurements, every minute of that autopsy, would forever be burned into his memory. He was the perfect soldier, following orders no matter the consequences. Terry
  17. Francesca, When I stood near the sixth floor window and on the "X" in the street, I came to a very different conclusion. But, more than anything else, I just felt sick, instantly aware of the lies and coverup that our government perpetratrated on us. I don't see how anyone could go there and be convinced that all (or) any of the shots came from the "sniper's nest". As it has been mentioned so many times before, the shot from that location would have been a frontal on Houston Street. I wonder how many other people had that same feeling that I had. I arrived in Dealey Plaza at 2:00 A.M., and the streets were empty. So, I was able to walk down Houston, turn the corner on Elm and continue down to where "X" marks the spot. Just a layperson's opinion, which doesn't mean much, but the shot at Z313 came from the front. Terry
  18. Andy, I did in fact, have a contusion to the head. In 1998, a station wagon knocked me down and busted my skull. I quickly ascertained that it was not a Rambler (lol). One of the results of this injury was short term memory loss. You have answered my question. What a relief. Now, it's back to the "REAL" coverup. thank you, Terry
  19. In 1969 I borrowed a 13" color television from a furniture store that I worked for while attending a Community College in Eastern Kentucky. It was the first color television that my family had up until this time, so, I bought it. (By the way, it's cost was $898.00, financed, I might add, for 24 months) Based on the prices of the new HDTV models, I am satisfied that history does, in fact, repeat itself. Anyway, back to the subject, how is it that a 54 year old man, who considers himself sufficiently educated (University of Kentucky) and fairly intelligent, is now questioning something that is one of the most imprtant events of all time. I have spent considerable time attempting to make a determination as to how I have reached this point. Would someone please enlighten me as to how something of this magnitude (the questioning of the reality of the moon landing) could possibly have happened. Terry
  20. Rant and threadjack away Blair, because you are dead on. Exactly the reaction that I was hoping for (with some extra icing). The reality show is not a bad idea either, minus the murder. (remember, the Dealey plaza "thing" was supposed to be a drill, fear factor style). Terry
  21. People are more likely to be conscientious when they are under penalty of perjury. Every witness before the Warren Commission was under penalty of perjury, with the exception of Lyndon and Lady Bird Johnson, who refused to take an oath to tell the truth. I said I did not believe her identification of Lee Oswald, though not really because of any fault on her part. I do not know if Helen Markham ever testified in a court of law, but if she did I know of no reason to doubt that she would tell the truth to the best of her ability. Silly I'm sure, but I have to ask. Were LBJ and the First Lady asked to be sworn in, and actually said no, or was this a courtesy offerd them because of their position(s). Terry
  22. On Dateline NBC, the reporter referred to this case as " to the conspsiracy theorists , this story is the same as Dealey Plaza, and Roswell, New Mexico". Read this link;http://www.atheists.org/flash.line/calvi5.htm. This kind of statement from the news media is exactly why nothing will be done to solve the murder of JFK. This man casually compared the president's assassination to the supposed events at Roswell. It seems to me that any new interest ( the recent Hour-long session on the Conspiracy ) is stopped in it's tracks by such reckless statements. Terry
  23. To me this is truly ironic. I remember back in my youth pitying the poor Russians with their controlled media and wondering why they were content to be such sheeple. I have lived to see the situation almost reversed, with the sheeple being in America with a controlled media, and Russia's Pravda reporting like a free press. I don't know how free Pravda actually is nowadays, but it can't be any worse than what we've got today in the U.S. "republic." Ron, If the paper that I read is the Pravda that I had heard about all of my life, I have been missing some very interesting and enligtening information (Example: Kevin Costner's "massage"). But, as you stated, Where are the Sheeple? I saw some very beautiful people in the photography that was provided. I certainly got a kick out of the "cat story". Again, as stated above, if this is the official paper of the Russian Government, I want to become a subscriber. Terry
  24. It has been mentioned that two people in RFK's entourage knew that the Senator was to go through the kitchen. Apparently though, they forgot to tell RFK, because someone said "This way Senator". And, as John pointed out, how on earth would Sirhan know this? This fact alone says conspiracy, whether or not there were two shooters ( Although, I believe Cesar was the killer of Robert F. Kennedy. Terry
  25. Mr. McClellan, I too, want to welcome you to the forum. I cannot imagine what it must have taken, least of all the obvious risks, to come forward with the information that you have presented. It is so sad though, that the govt. has done NOTHING with that information. I am looking forward to your posts. Terry
