  1. I want to thank Bill Miller for coming to my defense.

No problem, Kathleen ... even though you don't need defending. I bet that if you look back through the thread titles that Purvis has started and/or posted in that you will find that he has repeated himself on many occasions. In fact, was it not long ago where he started a thread called " ''''' one more time"? It was ground that had been already covered if I remember right.

Ask any questions you like, but remember that the archives are a good source for finding information that has already been discussed.

    Bill

    The Z film demonstrates that:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2ppqi37BIY

But, the Z film has been altered.

That is disturbing as it raises the question:

    What can be extrapolated?

It is very important to review ground that has already been discussed, as new discoveries are always waiting to come to light, as for example the discovery that Hoffman's story is invalid.

    (see: http://www.dukelane.com/freewayman.pdf )

    Here is an intersesting video:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaHu4KxrY6I

Thank you especially for the last video. It's very clear Kellerman's head has a shine on it (Brylcreem?) and Greer isn't shooting a gun. I know about the Ed Hoffman story from TMWKK. The photos on that PDF were fantastic. When I first came onto this Forum I was criticized for posting aerial views of Donald O. Norton's houses with Google Earth. Which was stupid because these pictures are free public records. Now I see other people using them and TV news uses them all the time.

  2. Not intending to come off as unsympathetic to newbies, either...just trying to give them the same "read the archives" advice that I was given when I first came aboard.

I CAN'T ACCESS THE DAMN ARCHIVES! Do you know how frustrating that is? And I'll remind you Mr. Simkin told me I could ask all the questions I want. I started this thread. If you didn't like it, don't come onto any other threads I start.

And I'm not going to let you and Purvis tell me what to write about here. Purvis inferred I was stupid. If this harrassment continues, I'll report it right to Simkin everytime.

  3. This software has such great capabilities. I typed in Greer as he was the one who supposedly killed Kennedy. One thing came up -- pinned: Who killed JFK, poll and discussion. Then the rest of the subjects were today's Forum. I would like to look in the archives, but the search here stinks, as I found out before.

  4. You guys seemed to have missed something here. Kathleen had merely stated that she thought she had seen something on the Zapruder film. She does have a right to question things that she think she sees and that's why I gave her an explanation as to why Greer could not have shot anyone by way of what I have seen. To come out and start implying that she is a nut for even bringing up an observation she felt she had witnessed doesn't reflect well on the premise that this is supposed to be an "Education Forum".

    Bill Miller[/b]

this is supposed to be an "Education Forum".

In most societies, "homework" is an essential element of education.

The "Greer Shot JFK" subject has been repeatedly demonstrated as to it's general stupidity and lack of any research by many, for a long time.

This is not the "re-education" Forum.

If it is to be an intelligent discussion of the aspects of the assassination, one would expect some effort on the part of those who post here to conduct some research into their topic.

Otherwise, this forum will look much like the other talk shows in which the forum will be flooded with absolute nonsense.

I can show an old "NATIONAL ENQUIRER" which demonstrates photo's of JFK alive and living on some Carribbean Island with Brain Damage.

Wanna discuss exactly how stupid I would look were it to be posted as a topic of discussion?

The tabloid was called Midnight. It had pictures of a man with massive white hair in a wheelchair, a Jackie lookalike with scarf and sunglasses and someone looking like Ari Onassis. They kept continuing the story each week. It was funny as hell. No one believed it. We used to laugh our asses off. They had a story called: "Strange Appetite: Boy Eats Own Foot." And they show this kid and you can tell he's eating pizza. It was a funny little newspaper and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The Kennedy story ended on a yacht where Jackie and Ari throw Kennedy's coffin overboard -- he had died.

I want to thank Bill Miller for coming to my defense.

Is there any aspect of the Kennedy Assassination that hasn't been discussed forever? Can I talk about Harvey and Lee or is that already passe? When I joined, Mr. Simkin said I could ask any question I want -- as this is the "Education Forum." The technical problem is if I do a search here, I get page one of today's topics.

I know people have said over the years that the driver shot Kennedy, but this was the first time I had seen it. It really surprised me. I've gone on youtube.com and seen other copies of the Zapruder film and most of the copies reveal it's a sunspot on Kellerman's head that looks like a gun in the copy I saw that started this thread. And the timing of it was amazing.

So Purvis, what would you have me discuss?

    Kathy Collins

So Purvis, what would you have me discuss?

In event that the "Greer shot Kennedy" is the best you can do!--------------------Nothing!

As it only continues to foster and generate more confusion among those such as yourself who have apparantly done absolutely no research into the subject matter.

Why not just sit back and make an attempt to research and learn?

I mentioned in my biography here that I have done research into Donald O. Norton (I won't say who he is, as you know everything) and whether Karyn Kupcinet was killed by a hit to take Chicagoans minds off the Mob connection to the Assassination.

I was incredulous how few people looked at my findings about Donald O. Norton and his brother and Ralph Geb -- their photos, their businesses, their whereabouts, which are on my blog. Don't say I never contributed to research. That was something someone fed the Forum when I joined. I think it was brave of me to look into Donald O. Norton -- especially when he owns at least 2 properties not far from where I live.

The other day was the first time I had ever seen Greer shoot Kennedy. I was really shocked and remembered that some witnesses had said the shot sounded like it came from inside the car. I'm sorry if my enthusiasm took you aback. This, too, is something the alterationists left in the film -- this illusion.

  6. Unless I'm becoming a fruit loop, I just watched the Zapruder Film and for the first time saw what looked like the driver turning around and shooting Kennedy! It seems impossible, but you must look at this. Watch the driver, the timing of the fatal shot and the white area on the grass, usually referred to as "the blob."

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WCc_y5k0n8

    Kathy

If you watch the film in the wider mode ... Greer has his right hand on the wheel and as he turns back - his left arm coat sleeve is down by the drivers door panel and never reaches across his person so to shoot at anyone.

I know some witnesses said the shot seemed to come from within the car. I think I will look on my CD of the film. I mean, this even shocked me!

    Get back to ya.

  7. How would Oglesby know that after "Oswald's Tale" Mailer's tax problems disappeared??

A simple explanation is that Mailer used some of the proceeds of the royalties from the book to compromise his obligation to the IRS.

On the other hand, perhaps we should add the IRS as a possible govt entity involved in the assaasination, joining the CIA, FBI, Secret Service and the Fish and Wildlife Commission.

Don't laugh. No one escapes the IRS -- unless for a good reason. My own mother was audited 2 or 3 times and her paycheck was zilch. It came down to who was taking care of me, my mother or my father. I believed my mother was. But the IRS concluded my father took care of me because he'd send a paltry check for child support. It was ridiculous.

Remember Leona Helmsly of hotel fame? She did jail time. And I'm sure she put a lot of her money into New York, as well as charities. And as rich as she was, she couldn't even get a decent lawyer.

And there's Al Capone. They got him on tax evasion.

    Don't underestimate the IRS.

  8. Kathy,

Yes, I think James brought up the right picture. This is the picture that LHO? had taken in Mexico City as part of his effort to get a visa to Cuba and beyond.

He is wearing a sweater vest.

What I find striking is that the two pictures below were taken a month apart. One in New Orleans in August, one in Mexico in September.

Are we looking at Harvey and Lee?

    post-669-1194886667_thumb.jpg

    Steve Thomas

Yes, Steve, in my opinion, these are Harvey and Lee. I have some other photos taken in the same "session" that are, without a doubt, Lee Oswald, again, in my opinion. I will try to find these pictures.

    Kathy

Here are 2 pictures. I think one is Lee and the other Harvey. Both were taken in New Orleans. I had other pictures of Lee in New Orleans but it must be on an old harddrive. Notice Harvey has a part in his hair; the one I think is Lee doesn't.

Notice also that "Lee" with his arms crossed is wearing a wedding ring.

Harvey is a bit dorky, wouldn't you say? But Lee looks like you better not fool around with him. Merciless.

I've often wondered if Harvey knew Lee existed. I doubt it. But Lee knew about Harvey. According to John Armstrong's research, Lee shot at Kennedy from the 6th floor window of TSBD. Got into a car with someone and headed to a small airport in the region, leaving for who knows where.

  9. I find it a little difficult to believe that Clinton was involved with Mailer's tax problems, blackmailing him to write a book saying Oswald did it alone.

It would not have been Clinton's idea, as I doubt that he was keeping tabs on Norman Mailer. Clinton would have simply passed along to the IRS any instructions or suggestions to relieve Mailer of his tax problems.

According to someone presumably in a position to know, when Clinton took office, he called in chief military advisors and said, "I want to know 2 things. I want to know about the Kennedy Assassination and the existence of UFOs."

And the military chiefs responded, "You don't have high enough clearance."

According to Web Hubbell, it was Hubbell whom Clinton told to find out for him who killed JFK and about UFOs, when Clinton gave Hubbell a high-ranking job at the State Dept. Hubbell eventually reported back that he couldn't find anything out.

Thank you, Ron, for giving me this source. Some things are so arcane -- a conversation here, a quote there. I appreciate it. I'm going to write it down so I don't forget it.

    Kathy

  10. Bill, I think the most interesting information you posted probably belongs in the "Fair Play for Cuba Committee" thread rather than in the Norman Mailer thread. Do you agree? But it certainly merits discussion!

Can you imagine Mailer's shock, sitting at the bar, watching the coverage, when they released information about Oswald, that he was a commie and an active member of the Fair Play for Cuba Committee? Mailer liked Kennedy very much, even loved him.

    Kathy Collins

  11. Re Margaret Richardson, Bill Clinton is quoted in one of the books about him (it may be Stephanopoulos's) that he would use the power of his office "to help our friends and (expletive deleted) our enemies." As I recall, this was specifically in the context of using the IRS.

I don't think this was anything new with presidents. I remember Nixon on the Watergate tapes saying that one his enemies was going to have "damnable, damnable problems," presumably with his taxes.

I would therefore assume (though I do not know) that Margaret Richardson, like heads of the IRS before and after her, would do whatever she was told to do by the criminal in the White House. As a case in point, Clinton "enemy" Joe Farah, head of WorldNewsDaily, has claimed that the Clinton regime tried to break him through the IRS.

If Clinton saw Mailer as one of his "friends," and helped him with his tax problems as a result of Oswald's Tale, it's understandable on two counts. One, Clinton has been in bed with the CIA since at least the Mena, Arkansas drug-running days, and so would be more than willing to help promote the LHO lone nut theory. And two, Clinton and Mailer were apparently real soul mates, both being obsessed with sex and practitioners (one through knifing and one through rape) of violence against women.

I find it a little difficult to believe that Clinton was involved with Mailer's tax problems, blackmailing him to write a book saying Oswald did it alone. But Geraldo Rivera has done as much on TV. Clinton admired Kennedy. According to someone presumably in a position to know, when Clinton took office, he called in chief military advisors and said, "I want to know 2 things. I want to know about the Kennedy Assassination and the existence of UFOs."

And the military chiefs responded, "You don't have high enough clearance."

I can't prove this conversation took place, but it came from someone I trusted who has to remain anonymous. This person also told me that during the Clinton years, there were 200 political murders, starting with Vince Foster. You know, a lot of strange suicides and such. I'm not saying Clinton was behind this, but they occurred during his Administration. And if the above conversation did occur (and why wouldn't it) with his top military advisors, Clinton really didn't have control over anything. Not even his paltry sex life.

The Presidents aren't the ones pushing the buttons.

  13. To Dawn and Kathleen,

Respecting the writings and logic of Mr. Oglesby, I find the statement attributed to him somewhat hard to believe.

Dawn, did he explain to you how the conspirators managed to recruit Margaret Richardson into their vast conspiracy?

Kathleen, how about you? Can you explain her participation?

Who is Margaret Richardson? I've just searched the Internet. There's more than one M.R. I couldn't find a link between her and Mailer.

And yes, Mailer was one of the founding members of FPFC, along with William Kuntsler and Jean Paul Sartre and others.

    Kathy Collins

  14. So does anyone agree with Charles Drago that Mailer lied about his beliefs about the assassination?

Yes. Someone reliable told me Mailer's tax problems went away after the publication of Oswald's Tale.

    Kathy

Carl Oglesby told me this as well.

    Dawn

    Thanks for the source, Dawn.

    Kathy Collins ;)

  15. Maurice Zolotow accused him of plagiarism when Mailer's Marilyn came out. He may have gotten most of his facts about her from Zolotow, but he interpreted them in a most unique style.

Marilyn Monroe was just a little before my time. I remember the day she died because the adults were all talking about her "suicide." But when Mailer's book came out with her photographs, I became a Marilyn fan. I enjoyed his writing style and I'd never seen anyone so beautiful in my life -- and neither had Mailer. He admitted a certain love for her, and hated Arthur Miller for not introducing Monroe to him. He condemned Miller for not deriving more inspiration from her -- a cowboy story (The Misfits) and a short story (Please Don't Kill Anything). Mailer felt he would have made a much better husband for her. Marilyn's perfume, Chanel No. 5, smelled like the worst of dimestore stink, he said -- but he didn't know how it smelled on her skin. He went on to write Of Women and Their Elegance, a novel about the secret life of Monroe and a play Strawhead, which I never saw or read.

Mailer described the outrage met when people saw Miller's Broadway play, After the Fall. This play would succumb to Opening Night Death except for the tragic character of Maggie, aka Marilyn Monroe. The play "comes alive" when she's onstage, Mailer noted. After the resultant roar, Miller stupidly denied the play was about her.

Miller depicted her as phony and stupid. His character, Quentin, goes on to realize he never loved her; breasts? Other women had breasts. Maggie becomes a drunk. In short, he created an unflattering portrait of his ex, dead from "suicide" and childless. He and his new wife immediately had a child.

Fellow writers and actors condemned Miller for putting his dead wife onstage. After the Fall debuted in 1964, but he had begun writing it when Marilyn was alive. I can't imagine how she would have reacted to his public characterization of her. This was once love?

Mailer wrote The Presidential Papers about President Kennedy, which was published in November 1963, the same month of Kennedy's death. Mailer said his worst moment came when he was in a bar on Nov. 22, 1963 and it came over the TV that Kennedy was shot. Oh, he's just doing this so we'll know how much we need him, Mailer said skeptically. Then it came over that Kennedy was dead, assassinated, and the reality hit him.

JFK researchers know Mailer best as the author of Oswald's Tale, a book in search of Lee Harvey Oswald and conspiracy. Mailer failed to find anything provable about a Conspiracy to kill President Kennedy. He more or less wrote that Oswald could have killed Kennedy alone, while a conspiracy to kill Kennedy may have been in effect -- shooters on the Grassy Knoll. Oswald may or may not have been involved. Mailer has a section where he describes activity in the Texas Theater. Oswald was dragged out of the movie theater from the front of the building in a near riot of policemen. Then Mailer mentions that at the same time a merchant next door to the theater saw cops peacefully taking Oswald out the back of the building. This here might be why Mailer's book failed. Did he realize that 2 people had used the identity Lee Harvey Oswald? Did this possiblility overwhelm him? Confuse him? Was he threatened, emasculated, about the outcome of the book?

Researchers came to believe that Mailer wrote this book for some entity in the govt or big business. And his rumored tax problems disappeared like dust from the pages of old Conspiracy books. Mailer was excommunicated from the company of Conspiracy believers: a turncoat.

Norman Mailer was my favorite author. One phrase sticks in my mind: "...with the breath of a turnip." He had an imagination like no other writer, a skill for getting into the skin of his characters or the famous people he wrote about. Except for Oswald's Tale, his point of view was always unique and his interests varied. I, for one, will miss him along with his imperfections. Whether it was stabbing his Puerto Rican wife in 1960; or liberating an inmate from prison because of his writing skill, only to have the man stab a waiter to death because he looked at him funny.

    Norman Mailer was 84.

  16. Kathy,

There is this one where his hair appears lighter in color. Is this the image you refer to?

    James

Yes, absolutely. Did someone toy with his hair by altering the photo? A guess, I'd say it looks moe the way red hair photographs. But to me that's Harvey, who was shot by Ruby.

    Kathy

  17. Kathy,

I may be wrong here but I believe that photo was one of two made public by the HSCA in an attempt to discover the subjects' identities.

I always though he looked like Louis Steven Witt.

    James

James, I have 2 hard drives in my computer. But I on a previous HD I had a photo -- like one taken in a booth -- of Harvey Oswald with hair bleached. Did you ever see that one? I don't know if it was trick photography or not. I think I'm going to check my pictures.

    Kathy

  18. I still do not have an answer to my question. Why did Kennedy come out from the Stemmon's Freeway Sign (which was inserted into the film - Great Zapruder Film Hoax) with his elbows up, his hands clenched shut, trying to open his tie as something was choking him? What was that all about? I don't care if it was a bullet or a needle or anything that happened at Parkland. Why were his arms up like that, and his hands useless to open his tie?

    Kathy

Kathy, he and Jackie were playing charades. They did it all the time at the

most inappropriate moments. Like on Elm St. Where it looks like JFK's left

index finger was clawing at his neck band -- he was signaling, "One word!"

Jackie looks at him intently as the limo comes out from behind the sign.

"One word! Sounds like...choke? Choke! Sounds like choke!...Joke!..."

    That's it. Joke.

You know, if I ever posted a sick Kennedy Assassination joke on this or other Forums, I'd be thrown off. That's not a suggestion, Cliff.

So I still would like an answer to why President Kennedy's elbows were in the air, his hands unable to open as he tried helplessly to open his tie. You can see this in the Altgen's photo -- The Man in the Doorway. Look into the limo.

    Kathy

  19. Here's a picture of the blond Oswald, photographed in Mexico. It doesn't look like Harvey or Lee. The picture, to me, depicts a slight man with a blond toupee -- like Andy Warhol used to wear. Did the Embassies really think that was real hair? I don't know who first posted this photo, but I found it in my picture archives.

Does anyone know anything more about this Blond Oswald?
