Okay, so I screwed up "Kupcinet." It was Karyn's father Irv and brother Jerry who negated her murder theory after she died. I implied Jerry was her son. Karyn was not murdered, and neither was Florence Pritchett Smith. Kilgallen could have been. I went to a lot of trouble to dig up the 1965 microfilmed newspaper saying Smith was so sick she planned her own funeral and chose pallbearers. Did anyone read where I quoted it in two very recent posts ?

My blood is boiling. The Kupcinets have always said she was murdered. How can anyone in his/her right mind think Karyn wasn't murdered? You must have been reading James Ellroy, a dark character, a religious fanatic and an admitted pervert. No empty pill bottles were around in the living room. But they were in the bathroom cabinet. She did not hurt herself on a piece of furniture. The interior wounds were too extensive on the left side of her throat. She was murdered via the "sleeper method," in my opinion, which is supposed to be very quick. A man grabs you from behind, gets you into some kind of headlock which closes one or both carotid arteries to the brain and the victim dies. This is entirely consistent with her autopsy results. Irv Kupcinet was quick to anger if anyone suggested his daughter killed herself. As depressed as she was, Karyn didn't do it. Her red bathrobe was lying on a chair in the living room. Obviously, she didn't put it there. Someone turned the TV on for light. She heard noise in the living room and went to check it out. It's possible she never saw the face of her killer. Also, I think there was sexual contact. The killer stripped off her robe. Why would someone go to her door to let someone in and take off her bathrobe?

Whether it was connected to the Assassination or not, it was a definite murder. I did not know there was a Wikipedia entry on Karyn. I will look it up, but I did not write it. I've spent years trying to get her noticed by people on the Internet, and even before that. It's possible the killer is dead. There are so many possibilities. But she was murdered. Irv Kupcinet and Essee always considered it a murder. And Kup would be very mad hearing someone repeat that she killed herself.

Forget about Audie Murphy. I've seen his appearance on What's My Line. He and Dorothy don't say anything to each other indicating friendship. He had nothing to do with CIA surveillance of Warren Report critics. He was old news by 1964 in United States. His death in 1971 marked the first time he had been newsworthy in 15 years. If you Britons stayed close with him, then I hope you found him entertaining.

I think there's a lot more to the story than that.

Dorothy covered Audie more than once in gossip type articles in the Washington post on Murphy back in 1954 - one called 'Audie goes a-patchin.' I don't know what occurred on the episode of What's My Line, but if Dorothy didn't figure out who he was - well, that's like 'Quiz Show.'

If there's anything to be said for the book published by Gary Weans, Audie Murphy came into possession of some very significant top secret documents, by way of John Tower, concerning the assassination, in 1964. See Chapter 44 of 'There's a fish in the courthouse.'

Murphy's involvement in trying to spring Jimmy Hoffa is also worth noting, in that friends said he was looking to tap into the Teamster's pension fund [to save his failing businesses] - in the same way Trafficante and others had.

Murphy died in a plane crash which could be deemed suspicious. Wean certainly thought so.

Murphy travelled frequently to Ventura County, was friends with Bill Decker, had some honorary title with the Ventura Police department, and frequented Oxnard - the location of the phone call warning of the impending assassination of JFK, 20 minutes beforehand.

Murphy was on Mae Brussel's 'Mysterious Deaths' list.

Bizarre factoid - Murphy gave the foreward to the film 'War is hell' - which was showing 11/22/63 at the Dallas Theatre, built by Howard Hughes, where Oswald sought to find his contact that fateful afternoon.

Murphy was 'in the music business.'

All that remains is one clue that Murphy may have turned over a mysterious package to Dorothy Kilgallen, and you'd have more than enough motive to exterminate her and anyone even vaguely connected to her.

I keep expecting to find an Audie Murphy / Howard Hughes connection, but haven't yet beyond the fact that Hughes stole Murphy's gal back in 1946.

Hughes meets starlet Jean Peters at a party in Newport Beach, California. He invites the 19-year-old and her date, war hero/actor Audie Murphy, to fly with him to Catalina Island aboard his private plane. According to some accounts, Hughes and Peters immediately embark on an unpublicised romance and are rumoured to have become engaged before splitting in the mid-1950s. There are also persistent rumours that Hughes and Peters had an illegitimate child in 1954.

Maybe Lee Israel knows something about an Audie Murphy / Dorothy Kilgallen connection?

Here's another weird connection. Karyn Kupcinet was in a film with Audie Murphy, The Wild and the Innocent, 1959. She appeared under the name Tammy Windsor.

Her father was a very classy guy with his own talk show and column in the Chicago Sun-Times: Irv Kupcinet. He was as great as Dorothy Kilgallen and Walter Winchell. When his daughter was murdered 6 days after President Kennedy, Walter Winchell went to Hollywood to find the killer. He didn't and the murder went unsolved. Irv was digging deep into the Chicago angle of the assassination. She might have been killed to shut him up. Such killers will not kill the person, but will kill someone the person loves.

The Bush family is, at a certain level -- the deepest, most significant level -- the anti-Kennedy family.

At that depth, the game is to preserve personal power for all time. Beyond the temporal. Beyond the corruption of the flesh. And the preservation of family is, at least symbolically, the preservation of self.

I saw Geraldo last night. I can't believe what a traitor he turned into. Firstly, only LHO shot President Kennedy: He says that every once in awhile and I'd like to put my fist throught the TV. Now he calls people who want an investigation into 9/11 "misfits" and some other names. He is a CIA media asset and I'm disgusted with him. He won the job of Foreign Coorespondent by saying on another network, appropos to nothing, that LHO killed President Kennedy; there was no conspiracy, all the time shaking his head in disbelief that someone would think otherwise. Bingo! He had a better job, a much increased salary, was important enough to send overseas to cover the Afghanistan war and had a new wife.

On another discussion venue, I've encountered one person who is adamant that, in HIS version of "Clue: JFK," it was Greer in the front seat with a shellfish-toxin-loaded projectile.

Personally, I just don't see it in the Z-film.

The only person who could conceivably have a poisoned projectile is the Umbrella Man, who opened his umbrella twice, as the Cuban held up 2 fingers. Was it a mere signal to someone to start shooting or for the driver to stop? Or was the umbrella a CIA-invented "gun" of sorts?

I want to pause to reflect on the morality of Paul accusing two men who are deceased and cannot defend themselves of participating in a murder of the President of the United States, on the basis of the slimmest possible evidence--in fact most would conclude no evidence at all. What evidence does he have? That one witness (only one by his admission) claimed to see a gun in the limousine, but that witness did not even place it in anyone's hand. The evidence to the contrary, including the silence of Jackie, is simply overwhelming.

Paul, you do not know whether Greer or Kellerman have any children who are going through extreme mental anguish knowing their fathers' name is being sullied on a public forum read around the world.

If they are innocent (and they are) Greer and Kellerman had each pledged to die in the performance of their duties and they took a job that might well have required them to make the ultimate sacrifice.

All I can say is by what moral standard do you justify dirtying the reputation of these men based solely on your "hunch" or "suspicion"?

Harvey Oswald's 2 daughters went through hell in their schooldays (reported in a scandal sheet -- the Star, Enquirer, Globe) and I am told "Uncle" Robert Oswald has never visited them. Is that because he's mean and angry? No, it's because they aren't related. Harvey was not Robert Oswald's brother. Harvey was a Russian lookalike, in my opinion, who perfected his English in Russia, with the help of someone British, and after a few years, he sounded like an American. There are 3 Oswald audios on the Internet. One is of him learning English in Russia. And 2 other audios exist of him on the radio and, of course, at the Dallas police station.

After the assassination, Robert commented that when Oswald (his "brother") returned from Russia, he was shocked at how much hair he had lost. Was this to obscure that the Russian agent was not the same guy who left for Russia?

Assuming Greer did shoot Kennedy, and Kennedy was facing forwards immediately prior to the head shot, we would expect to find a left front entrance and a right rear exit. This is exactly what we do find:

“The autopsy documents also provide some cryptic indications of damage to the left side of the head. The notorious face-sheet on which Dr. J. Thornton Boswell committed his unfortunate ‘diagram error’ consists of front and back outlines of a male figure. On the front figure, the autopsy surgeons entered the tracheotomy incision (6.5 cm.), the four cut-downs made in the Parkland emergency room for administration of infusions (2 cms. each), and a small circle at the right eye, with the marginal notation ‘0.8 cm.,’ apparently representing damage produced by the two bullet fragments that lodged there. Dr. Humes testified that the fragments measured 7 by 2 mm. and 3 by 1 mm. respectively (2H354). Lastly, it seems counter-intuitive to place a weapon in the center of everyone's visual focus. FWIW

Remember the topography of Elm, Peter - it dips and slants: the assassination scene was not "in the center of everyone's visual focus." It was a sparsely populated stretch at the motorcade's fag-end; and the occupants of the vehicle, not to mention the following vehicles, further hindered clear line of sight for potential eyewitnesses.

I remember seeing an autopsy photo of President Kennedy with a definite hole in his front, left hairline. Could someone post that or at least say if they saw it too?

I know Carroll and Graf publish books on Assassination-related subjects. They're a respectable publisher. But other than that... Oswald's Tale was published by a biggie, Random House, because of the author, Norman Mailer. Mailer couldn't prove a conspiracy. Someone told me Random House was a CIA-media asset.

I know Viking published DeLillo's novel (which I haven't read yet), Libra, about Oswald, in 1988; the same press Jackie Onassis worked for and possibly left because of critics like John Leonard. He wrote, "Someone should be ashamed of herself," because Viking was going to publish a novel based on Chappaqquiddick. (Jackie went to work for Doubleday.) It seems to me that Robert Dorff self-published either by printer or using one of the self-publishing entities around today, and is selling his book on his own Internet site.

Some time ago I shared my experience of Beverly Oliver's (hereinafter B.O.) claim that Ruby had contacted her, through an intermediary, from his oversees sanctuary.

B.O. let this cat out of the bag at the JFK Lancer conference at which Judge Tunheim was a featured speaker. Her method of doing so is most interesting.

She initially told a very small group of attendees the following:

In the recent past she received what purported to be a message from the alive-and-well Ruby. In it he acknowledged that she likely would dismiss his overture as some sort of provocation. So he challenged her to come up with a dozen or so questions that only B.O. and Ruby could answer: real personal sorts of things.

B.O. complied, and reported that Ruby correctly answered all but one question. And even the wrong answer, she claimed, could be understood in terms of simple semantic differences (what she called a "runway," he called a "ramp," or vice-versa).

Well, you know what they say about secrets. Within hours of B.O.'s original spinning of the yarn, the entire conference was abuzz with news that Ruby lives! B.O. was claiming to be angry and scared, but somehow managed to keep herself squarely in the spotlight -- almost as if the leak was exactly what she had planned for.

Perhaps Jack White and/or Larry Hancock know more about this little drama.

I remember reading this in the Globe. There's a joke scandal sheet, Weekly World News, where they had a story that Oswald had only recently died. As a centerfold they have Oswald after his autopsy, sewn up, but with hair missing and white hair remaining -- he's obviously aged. But the most amazing thing was Oswald still had the black eye the cops gave him back in 1963.

Rep. Ike Skelton , chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, called the mishandling of the weapons "deeply disturbing" and said the committee would press the military for details. Rep. Edward J. Markey , a senior member of the Homeland Security Committee, said it was "absolutely inexcusable."

According to the officials, the weapons are designed with multiple safety features that ensure the warheads don't accidentally detonate.

The Air Combat Command has ordered a command-wide stand down on Sept. 14 to review procedures, officials said. They said there was minimal risk to crews and the public because of safety features designed into the munitions."

I also have a blog, which deals with many things, but I consider it a source for those who are interested in Donald O. Norton. Norton claimed he was Lee Oswald (Harvey was shot by Ruby) and sent Mae Brussels money he called "conscience" money. Also photos of Ralph Geb. Both men are pictured as yesterday and today. Also, actress' significance to the Kennedy Assassination; named by some as the "first witness after Oswald to die" -- Karyn Kupcinet. My theory is that she was killed to stop her father from investigating the Chicago angle of the Crime of the Century. It remains an unsolved murder.

In my gossip capacity, I recall reading in one of the scandal sheets that she was semi-concious after the accident and that her last words were:

"Why? I was so happy."

Can't prove these were her last words, but it is a poignant statement, even if someone made it up, which is probably the case. Other stories said she asked that one of her sisters take care of her children.

I am pleased to announce that I have solved the assassination. I now know who the “big fish” really was: Blessed John XXIII.

It is of course well known that JFK was elected President in large part because of the heavy

percentage of votes he received from Catholics as well as his strong support from the Catholic church hierarchy. See for instance the memoirs of Tip O’Neill (“Man of the House.”)

In 1956, Democrat Adlai Stevenson got 37 percent of the Protestant vote and a bare majority of

Catholics. And he lost to President Eisenhower.

In 1960, the Democratic vote among Protestants held up, even though Kennedy was a Catholic.

What put Kennedy over the top against Richard Nixon was his soaring support among his fellow

Catholics -- nearly 80 percent.

But once elected JFK double-crossed his Catholic supporters just as the Mafia thought he had double-crossed them (the record is not clear that JFK knew the deals his father made with the Mafia). JFK doublecrossed Catholics by opposing the issue dearest to the hearts of the Catholic hierarchy: aid to parochial schools.

Nor was the ecumenical movement all that the Baptists were against. The U.S. Catholic

hierarchy came in for a resolution taking them to task for waging "an aggressive campaign"

to force federal aid to parochial schools. The resolution opposed grants, loans, tax support or

any other direct Government assistance to private education. Yet one of the heroes of the

convention was the Catholic politician whom last year's convention had officially opposed for

U.S. President. The messengers voted unanimously to send a telegram to President Kennedy

expressing appreciation of his stand against aid to parochial schools and for the separation of

church and state. Wisecrack of the day: "Jack Kennedy is making a pretty good Baptist

President."

President Kennedy reminded a 1961 gridiron-dinner audience of a popular anti-Catholic story

following Al Smith’s defeat in 1928. As told by gleeful non-Catholics, Governor Smith,

immediately upon learning of his loss to Herbert Hoover, sent a one-word telegram to the

pope: “Unpack!” Tongue in cheek, Kennedy said that after his stand against federal aid to

parochial schools the pope sent him a one-word cable. This one said: “Pack.”

I suggest that the Pope (Blessed John XXIII) did more than send JFK this proverbial telegram. I suggest the assassination was ordered in the Vatican and carried out with the assistance of Johnny Rosselli and Carlos Marcello, both good Catholics, and David Ferrie, who we all know pledged allegiance to the “Old Catholic Church.” (Shortly before his death, per his biography, Rosselli met with his long-time friend, a priest, and confessed and received absolution shortly before his murder.)

I suggest that the assassination planning started in September of 1962 when Blessed John XXIII was diagnosed with stomach cancer and knew he would not have too long to live. The plans were completed prior to his death in June of 1963 and I have no reason to believe the new Pope was privy to his scheme.

And of course it would not be the first time Catholics had assassinated a president. Many conspiratorialists believe, of course, that the Catholic church instrumented the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.

My theory puts it all together and I suggest makes a whole lot more sense than arguing the captains of the steel industry or oil barons killed Kennedy. The Catholic Church had motive galore as well as means and opportunity and we all know that several prominent Catholics are widely reported to have played a role in the assassination. Moreover, it had a history of assassinating an American president.

Of course my tongue is planted firmly in my cheek but this post ought to demonstrate how easy it is to construct silly assassination theories. Catholics had as good a reason to want to assassinate JFK as did any other interest group that he opposed such as the steel industry.

I have the sneaky feeling that this "theory" had something to do with my thoughts on the Assassination. There was a Jesuit, Fr. Malachy Martin, who wrote books about the Vatican and it would curl your hair. Also, I believe Pope John Paul I was murdered, poisoned because he was too liberal like Kennedy. I'm going to try to get access to Martin's books. They came out around 1980. I do believe the Popes and certain Cardinals knew what was coming. The nuns sure as hell didn't. They blamed the Cubans. The old bitch teaching my class would stop talking, look at a Spanish kid and say, "Why don't you go back to where you came from?" A pleasant world. And a great religion.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with a dentist, Dr. Ken Martin. He had sent me to an endodontist for several root canals. Martin found a cavity, my first one in years. And he is going to put the permanent crown on one of my teeth, same side. I am still having sensitivity there nevertheless.

Anyway I found this flyer on him in his office. He has had much education and affiliations. And he is a very wealthy man. What worried me though was that he belongs to the Masons.

What should I know about him? What do the Masons do? This is in Florida.

I don't know if this will be helpful to you or not, but when I try to evaluate controversial matters, I have to check out many sources. I could never read just one source and run with it as the truth. Sometimes it does get me confused more then ever, but still after awhile you can begin to separate fact from fiction. Sometimes a certain consistency will run through in all the sources. Of course, other times it is more like someons fantasy.

I should also add that it is a very good idea to check the footnotes and try to find out where and from whom the information came from.
