  1. Yes he was, see page 5. https://www.archives.gov/files/research/jfk/releases/157-10011-10121.pdf And take this next bit with a massive grain of salt, as Google Bard is accurate only 40% of the time, but they note
  2. From the heading I thought Joseph was suggesting Jimmy Dore had been on Len's show for a moment, but clearly he wasn't. Scrolling through Dore's channel, I see he's anti war, he just criticised RFK Jr. over his support for the Israeli occupation, he's criticised Marianne Williamson for her support of the Ukraine war, he regularly has Max Blumenthal and Glenn Greenwald on his show, and he's consistently pushed for Julian Assange to be released. Noam Chomsky agrees with a lot of these I think. So, lots of different topics there. I haven't listed to BOR for a while. Oliver Stone's conversation on his nuclear documentary, show #1158 looks worth a watch.
  3. I'm not sure if Solie / McCord handling Oswald's files implicates them in JFK's death. They might have their own reasons for handling the files. One floated elsewhere (for Solie, at any rate) - he could adjust or check or add to Oswald's files and see if doing so rattled anyone involved with the mole hunt out of the woodwork. I can't speak for Newman's citing of McCord being part of this and will just wait till his next book is out (or the revised POPOV'S MOLE) to see what he is saying about it. And the CIA / Pentagon might then have their own reason or reasons for guiding Oswald to be the patsy at Dallas. Burying Oswald's prior activities forever, sending a message to anyone involved previously with Oswald, or just having a useful dupe handy who would do what he was told. It could be any of those, and they could consequently then have their own reasons for messing with Oswald's files prior to Nov 1963. So there's a lot of elements at play, but I don't see Newman's current comments as suggesting the KGB was involved with JFK's death. Like Jim said above, Newman appears to repeatedly point to or finger Pentagon / CIA folk, but he's been cagey on that for a long while. In his current video he says he's revealing more in an upcoming talk in November, maybe because his ARMAGEDDON volume might be out in the near future. But even Newman doesn't appear to have clear answers yet, and I'm largely just waiting for most of his books to be out before I spend some weeks following everything he's written about the topic. I have the first three on my Kindle but will wait another year or so before looking to catch up on his recent stuff.
  4. Robert - I suspect neither Jim or John will be super responsive if they view the query as being a bit too in your face. If you've sent John Newman 40 messages, and he didn't write back after the first handful, he might have viewed the remaining 35 messages as being something to put on his ignore list, regardless of the content. It's called reading the room. I don't want to be unhelpful. My suggestion is the next time Newman makes an announcement on Facebook, and he'll probably do more later this year, just join the thread there and post a couple of simple queries, and try to gain the attention of the other commenters. If a few of them go "Fair question, what's the answer there John?", he might have another look and feel the urge to respond. Equally, Newman has a few other researchers that he's in contact with, and a couple are named in the recent video, and I think he regularly names a few of them in the front of each of his books. Try sending them some friendly, concise messages and it might get somewhere.
  5. He's easily reachable on Facebook, probably reachable on email, and with some research is probably locatable in the phone directory as well.
  6. Yeah, the Baker listing did make me wince. I'd still like to read some of the other good ones.
  7. Also of interest to me, KILLING KENNEDY, not to be confused with the Bill O'Reilly book from a few years back. This new Skyhorse volume came out last November and has positive comments from Oliver Stone, Dick Russell, Mal Hyman and others. It's an interview book and looks quite solid. https://www.amazon.com/Killing-Kennedy-Exposing-Cover-Up-Consequences/dp/1510775439/ref=sr_1_3?crid=TUVDCDP5DMSV&keywords=killing+kennedy&qid=1692227617&sprefix=killing+kennedy%2Caps%2C349&sr=8-3
  8. The only detailed review at that Amazon link is a bad one, not a good one.
  9. Looks interesting, though it appears they've stopped selling copies on Amazon.

  11. Newman just posted this on Facebook. This podcast has half a million subscribers, so more than a few people will see it. 0:00 - What really happened on 11/22/63 5:40 - Working with Oliver Stone & being contacted by the NSA 18:03 - The biggest CIA mole hunt in history 27:13 - Suppression of John’s books & implications of truth about JFK 43:06 - The CIA's assassination / psychological warfare operations in Europe: Operation Gladio 46:24 - How the Russian sleeper mole in the CIA was activated 1:09:29 - Pyotr Popov 1:14:04 - Tracking the high echelon CIA mole 1:30:07 - Lee Harvey Oswald 1:32:25 - The Army General who wanted Armageddon: Lyman Lemnitzer 1:38:44 - The ‘Trojan Horse’ inside the Kennedy family: Maxwell Taylor 1:55:14 - JFK’s plan to pull out of Vietnam 2:05:03 - The military coup leading up to JFK’s assassination 2:17:22 - Lee Harvey Oswald’s meetings in Mexico in 1963 2:36:10 - The KGB defector who claimed 2 former US presidents knew about the plan to take out JFK 2:42:40 - The missing letter Oswald wrote to CIA from Minsk 2:48:18 - The CIA mole inside Martin Luther King’s group 3:01:31 - John’s conclusion on JFK 3:04:52 - Kennedy’s speech on secret societies 3:09:54 - John’s involvement with Oliver Stone’s latest documentary ‘JFK Revisited’
  12. I thought I'd posted this earlier. 44,000 views so far on YouTube, and the comments there are really something.
  13. Where's a potential shooter UM might be spotting for? Great question. I gather there were some people shooting at Kennedy that morning. Possibly that's where the shooter was. Before you ask me any further questions about UM though, be aware I have no idea who he was or what he was doing, and I used the word 'marginally' above in the same way you could use the word 'mildly' in a sentence, or even just a shrug. So I don't have a lot more discussion to give you in this thread about what UM was up to.
  14. Speculation. The shooters are keeping a stationary aim, looking through their gunsights, waiting for the vehicle to come into view. A spotter with his hand up can basically tell them, here it comes, get ready, get ready.. When he lowers his hand, they know, okay, it's time, let's go. The shooters may potentially have audio support as well - see Stone's recreation in JFK, with a military guy on the radio, a friendly helper next to the shooter, and so on, but a guy in the vicinity with his arm up letting them know visually what was what, mightn't hurt their mission that day, and could have helped.
  15. I have no idea but the latter seems marginally more likely than the former. He's a guy with an umbrella, so I have no idea what anyone would charge him with. But anyway, which is more suspicious? A guy running away from the plaza at top speed, or someone sitting there watching everything? I don't want to dismiss your questions though as I've yet to read a totally convincing explanation as to what UM was doing, and every explanation seems a halfway possible guess.
  16. Hargraves taking part in a false flag activity years later. The stories these guys could tell. https://www.archives.gov/files/research/jfk/releases/docid-32300208.pdf https://warisboring.com/inside-jfk-docs-plots-to-kill-castro-and-federal-spies-in-a-texas-militia/
  17. In her book Pease discusses evidence suggesting more shooters in the room besides Sirhan and Thane, with RFK being in the middle of the circle, all eyes on Sirhan shooting the blanks, and Thane taking advantage of being right behind RFK to fire some shots himself.
  18. Hopefully Kim puts some of this on Youtube. She has half a million subscribers there.
  19. Yes, it's an old thread. I've seen Metta's book on Amazon (in English) but have never read it. I should. A couple of reviews cite some wonky English, but that doesn't stop dedicated researchers. I also had some brief communications with Paz, but not recently. Missed by me in my citing of events circa 9/11 apparently targeting Israel's enemies, the anthrax letters that had DEATH TO ISRAEL scrawled on them the following month. Everyone received real anthrax in the mail, except for Judith Miller, who was dating Scooter Libby and who had her own book ANTHRAX come out fortuitously around the same month, which must have helped sales.
  20. I would personally love to know how much cross-over there was between the strategic geniuses who came up with Operation Gladio, and the various high-ranking figures who pushed anti-detente arguments and who frequently argued in the US on behalf of Israel. Outside of government, a lot of big names would normally take their whining to think tanks where they could pound tables with their fists along other like-minded folk.
  21. Thread from Deep Politics Forum (including posts from Jim and myself) mentioning Metta's stuff. https://deeppoliticsforum.com/fora/thread-15659.html
  22. I keep alluding to the 'panic' in defense spending in the late 80's. It pains me to note that the people discussing the issue made a more credible and nuanced case than might be expected. The conversation revolved around the Defense Technology Base, and how cuts in defense spending would have a ripple effect greater than what might be anticipated. They produced many papers on this, raised the issue at conferences, and then military folk at the conferences started their own lobby groups on the same topic, and produced similar papers. It was the equivalent of a long line of people banging on a government door about a particular topic, and each day the number of people snowballed and the banging got louder. Augustine, the Defense Science Board, and the Office of Technology Assessment were a few of the groups involved in this.
  23. Interesting thoughts. We can probably kill a couple of birds with one stone in this thread. In the 80's, Zakheim and Fred Ikle had a lot of interplay with the Israelis during the Lavi affair. Wolfowitz. Libby, Perle and others helped out working on the neocons Defense Planning Guidance and the Clean Break paper for Israeli strategists in the 90's. Below, Donald Rumsfeld whining in mid-1963. I don't buy the Michael Piper thesis right now, but JFK definitely knew how to make himself unpopular here and there.
  24. Thank you Matthew, very interesting. I'm currently going back over some off the 9/11 stuff, trying to push the years of misinformation and Disinfo out of the way to work out generally what happened that week. And I have seen all the 9/11 documentaries and have the full set of 9/11 books that every researcher does. Some are better than others. I'm struck by the following. The arrested guys going "We are not your problem, the Palestinians are the problem." The police audio (from memory) saying 'they look like Palestinians" The BBC smear of middle eastern folk celebrating, so they could show video of people in veils jumping around excited that the towers had been hit. I think it came out later that a cameraman had thrown a bunch of kids some sweets, so they could get lots of video of the family members clapping their hands and laughing and celebrating. Knowing the BBC, this was entirely intentional. Ehud Barak sitting in the BBC studios shortly after the attacks on camera expounding about the forthcoming war on terror, below. And Robbie Martin's video clip, dug up several years ago, with Donald and Frederick Kagan filmed the day after 9/11 arguing that the US should perform a military invasion of Palestine. Frederick even states that 'they know' the terrorist groups responsible have bases in Palestine, and that the US should send a Delta Force in immediately to wipe them out. The day after 9/11, Kagan father-son duo said ‘take the war’ to Palestine https://mondoweiss.net/2015/08/kagan-father-palestine/ Neocons Fred & Don Kagan wanted a US military invasion of Palestine in response to 9/11 http://averyheavyagenda.blogspot.com/2015/08/neocons-fred-don-kagan-wanted-us_5.html With a prescient note from Don. I confess all the above does raise one or two questions. Speculation - if the guys in the vans had not been arrested and proven Israeli, the story could have been sent out that the guys driving a van with a big mural on the side of it were Palestinian. You have to presume any Israelis involved in the plot would rather things be blamed on Palestinians, instead of Israelis. "The Palestinians are the problem." "They look Palestinian" - footage of Middle Eastern folk (in Gaza?) cheering the attacks - Israeli PM Barak announcing to the West that the war on terror has started - the Kagan neocon duo foaming at the mouth demanding a Delta Force invade Gaza. A case could be made that a planned, then abandoned part of the 9/11 plot was to paint Palestine as being involved somehow. This was likely dropped after the various arrests that day made it difficult to proceed with it. From memory (based on other articles I've read), Israel chose to do another military attack on the Palestinians that week anyway, while the world's focus was elsewhere. Sadly for the Israelis, they couldn't drag the US into an attack on Palestine that week, and would have to make do with US forces participating in the decapitation of Iraq a year and a half later. All parties had a lot of time on their hands to think about how things could be solved. Will cut this short for now, but this is an interesting discussion.
