  1. Bill is an excellent researcher, I have always enjoyed his posts. (even the ones I dont agree with)

I have really enjoyed watching him take you apart in the same way that Jimmy D took DVP apart a month or so ago.

Robert I have followed your different theories over the years and I must say that the shot at 285 and the blinds cutting and window smashing assassin have really lowered my opinion of you as a researcher.

The fact that you claim that those who are against you are on some sort of team is just ludicrous.

Do you think we all make a conference call every morning and discuss how to go about "attacking" you online?

Maybe you think Duncan, Martin and Robin all fly into the USA once a week and meets up with everyone that disagrees with you?

Robert time to switch to Decaf, either that or start drinking some stiff drinks, I suggest Captain Morgan Spiced Rum and Egg Nog, its perfect for this time of year.

Just relax Robert, nobody is out to "get" you, that I can promise you.

  2. ...

PS Zavada was there. I thought he was good. He made a cogent argument about the pin registration in a Bell and H camera at 8mm being too unsteady to blow up and then reduce down without him being able to detect it.

What's pin registration as he defined it?

He was referring to the mechanism which pulls the film through the back plate of the camera where it is placed to be exposed to light through the lens.

He said that in a professional camera like a 35 mm Mitchell or Arriflex, this transaction is very secure, precise, and accurate. The reason being that in professional films, you have to allow for opticals after.

But in an amateur 8 mm camera, like Zapruder's, it was not anywhere near as precise since post production optical were not allowed for. Therefore the image would slide around as you both blew it up and reduced it down. ANd he would be able to detect it, especially in comparison to the early family scenes on the film, which he considered a baseline.

If you know anything about films, and since I went to film school I do, this is a cogent argument. Pin registration on 8 mm or Super 8, which is what I worked with in one class, is very loose in those cameras compared to say an Arri.

Jack, as I warned earlier, the idea that Zavada is some kind of disinfo agent will not fly anymore since he has now been seen in public and talked and answered questions. He just does not have those qualities about him. He is very open and candid and he answers questions as directly as he can. And he tells you what he bases the answers on, and he even qualifies his answer by telling you how hard the data is he is using. He then gave me his business card after so I could call him if I had any other questions.

This is why I think Horne made a mistake in his book by characterizing him as a pathological xxxx and CIA agent. He does not come off as that at all. He really believes in what he is saying.

I saw Zavada present at JFK Lancer and I thought he was a very credible guy and a straight shooter. I think the Zapruder Film is not a fake or alteration. At the most it was spliced and a few key frames knocked out, but we have those key frames back. So I am pretty firmly (for now) in the Zavada/Robert Groden camp that the Zapruder film is legitimate and a very useful tool for studying the 1963 Coup d'Etat.

Well Robert you also claim that LBJ is a pyschopathic serial killer

  3. :Hi Dean; apparently your thread has now definitely been diverted.. sorry bout that .. .what was new on the old worn out telly interview scene?well, not much but george jrs parents, of course do like his book and mom :)the ''oatmeal lady'' did zing palin...which will get the most hype, i figure...b

    http://www.businessi...ox-lady-2010-11

Bernice I divert threads all the time, if I make a thread any member can post anything they want in it, I never get upset over that.

  4. I think it matters that Armstrong spent alot of his own money on research, I still dont have a copy of his book but my favorite book was written in the same way with lots of the authors own money, thats "Bloody Treason" by Noel Twyman

That shows me complete dedication to the subject

  5. A very appropriate response, Christopher. Am I the only one who is the

least bit taken aback that, after complaining for all these years that JFK

was not getting enough attention from the media, we have an exceptional

program like this and so very few seem to care? Not even those who post

at the drop of a hat on many more insignificant threads? I really don't get it.

I thought that the Ventura show on the JFK assassination was great.

Most of his shows give shallow coverage of some fairly important topics, with an emphasis more on Jessie and less on the subject matter.

I want to see this one again.

I enjoyed the program Jim, and I also like Ventura

My hope is that people who dont know much about the assassination viewed the program and want to learn more

99% of my friends have no clue what happened on Nov 22 1963, I wish that would change

  6. The window shows boxes, probably containing issues of the now scarce The Incredible Hulk #1 from Marvel, released in May 1962.

You dont even need to have a close up, just looking at the Thompson Altgens that Robin posted you can clearly see the window with what looks to me boxes right behind the window.

    Just like in the TSBD

Robert as Donald Trump would say "Your theory is FIRED!"

  7. gigantic figure

    Bill

I need to find all my studies on TOCM and post them for you

Duncan and I went through this some time ago and I for sure proved that while the man was tall (Like an Orville Nix 6'6 type tall) but not gigantic as you claim

I have much much more Bill, just give me time to dig it all out

  8. Personally Bill, I think Zappy and Sitzman were on the pedestal, I think Zappy shot film, I think that was used with the "other" film to create what we know today as the Z-film

I just get tired of my fellow alterationists being made fun of and called out on the Zappy/Sitzman issue in regards to being clearly seen in any film or photos during the assassination.

Dean, your fellow alteration supporters are getting what they deserve in my view. For instance, I had one of them going on years ago about there was no clear image of Sitzman being in the Plaza and yet the woman turns and faces Zapruder's camera just prior to the assassination. That footage is taken at the colonnade with Sitzman talking to her friends - the Hester's. Then there is the interview of Sitzman at the pedestal ,,, pictures of Sitzman near the TSBD ... all showing her in the same clothes as seen on the woman at the pedestal. So why does another poorly researched alteration claim have to be made from all of this ... the answer may be what I just said 'poorly researched'.

As far as the Zapruder film being mixed with the alleged 'other film' .... that is impossible and here is why ...........................

It has been said that the other film is amazingly sharp ... the Zapruder film is not. The other film would have to be taken from another location than Zapruder's, this means it would be impossible to combine frames from the two films for they would not match when it came to the line of sight ... it would make Zapruder appear to have changed filming locations and that just didn't happen.

The other film could not have been shot from the doorway of the shelter or from within the windows on the walls because not only would Sitzman and Zapruder be in the shot (which no one has claimed so far) but the Bezner and Willis photos show a good view of the interior of that shelter and no one can be seen anywhere.

    Bill

I think the position of TOCM (The Other Camera Man) in Betzner is close enough to Zappys line of sight that frames would match up

And im not saying both films were matched up and ran together to create the Z-film, but certain things were used from both films (and it could be a small part of the frame not the whole frame itself) to produce what we see today in the Z-film.

Im sure you know of the position of TOCM as he appears in Betzner, but i will post a close up anyways in case other members dont know where TOCM is in Betzner
