I can offer some Dallas 'locals' perspectives from the mid 1970's that were discussed with me & a couple friends during our first ever visit to Dealey Plaza. This was roughly 10 years since the assassination & before the time of souvenir vendors, bus tours & the museum operation. People who noticed us looking the plaza over simply walked up to us & gave us their 'take' on the assassination: 1. The shooting occurred basically in the front yard of the Dallas County Sherriff's office & operation & adjoining law enforcement operations (this includes the Old Red Courthouse, where a constant flow of law enforcement officers transporting prisoners & defendants to & from trials is a daily routine and the Records building that housed the legal paperwork involved in arrests, trials, convictions, judgments & prisoner releases). When Bill Decker told his men to report to the rail yards on the radio, he was instructing his men not at large to simply walk out the doors of the Sheriff's operation, cross Houston Street, and move several hundred yards to behind the North pergola (where Zapruder & Sitzman film team were located). This was the route that Deputy Sheriff Eugene Boone & other officers took. Altgens7 photo indicates Bill Decker & Jesse Curry's location during the ambush. Bill Decker was either entering or exiting the TUP when he gave his radio order to his men to report to the railyards from DPD Chief Jesse Curry's car. To get to the area Decker ordered his men to report to & "hold everything secure" would have involved nothing more than opening the door of Curry's car & walking up the west side slope of the TUP (where Dan Rather claims to have been located) & crossing the train tracks on foot. A matter of yards. Decker could & should have led his men in the hunt for an assassin & accomplices. Decker did not do this. 2. The parking lot behind the stockade fence was used by Decker's employees. It would have been very simple to walk over from the sheriff's office at lunchtime, open a car trunk, extract a weapon, fire it at the President & entourage, put it back in the trunk, close the trunk & walk back over to the Sheriff's office. Who would stop a Dallas County Sheriff's officer? Who would be brazen enough to use that parking lot as a firing platform with a high risk of a Sheriff's officer discovering their presence when attempting to access their vehicle parked at that location? The cars were not searched & the license plate numbers that were recorded disappeared post-assassination. 3. The shooting began as JFK's limo was passing the two sidewalk monuments. Both are symbols of leaving the downtown Dallas business district. IOW, the symbolism was that JFK was shot from a force 'outside' the Dallas business district & not 'inside it'. This symbolism was lost when the TSBD became the focus of the manhunt by law enforcement. 4. Parked Pullman train cars & the railroad signal tower were never considered as firing/filming platforms, even though both were located in the same railyards Decker ordered his men to report. The roofs & interior offices of the Records building, County Courts bldg, Old Red Courthouse & Federal Building annex were never considered as firing platforms. No trajectory analysis was performed on those locations during Federal investigations & reports. 5. Bill Decker's operation handled a lot of the initial witnesses giving statements. Most of them read the same as if the statements were authored by the same writer. Witnesses rarely see & recall a traumatic event exactly the same. My friends & I were asked if we were to set up an ambush, would we do so within yards of the Dallas County Sheriff & his law enforcement manpower? Would we put snipers on the roof of his operation or the adjacent buildings that interact with his operation? How would we get them in place under the nose of the Sheriff & his employees? (have them use the Batman 'Batrope' method of scaling a building?) How would we get them out safety; use a helicopter? Wouldn't it be safer to pick a spot further away from a strong law enforcement presence, where it would have taken them some time to get to the crime scene & thus aid in our escape, as opposed to having the law 'breathing down your necks' during escape & evasion? Did some of the Dallas locals suspect Bill Decker back in the 1970's as being 'in on the kill' or 'standing down on the kill'? Based on the comments locals expressed to me back then, I would say so. Kathy & Mark said it best, IMHO. EF is like the Ed Sullivan show of JFK forums. One might have to sift thru dancing bears & jugglers to get to The Beatles or The Stones, but it's all good. It's better than the competition. The Ef feature I enjoy the most is its own in house caped crusader in the form of Pat Speer. Having attended Pat Speer University (his online website), taken & graduated from Pat's JFK assassination 101 analysis, I have faith that Pat will don his cape & defeat any & all Jokers & Penguins that show up to wreck havoc on his research. I believe it was Larry Hancock (my favorite Okie, besides Carrie Underwood & Reba) who suggested that each researcher have his/her own page or section to present their research & take comments. I thought that suggestion had merit & would limit the number of items displayed on page one. I find that the more LN'ers defend the WC (while ignoring the HSCA) they not only demonstrate how weak that official report is but also group themselves in the rebel crowd known as CT'ers. The bond is neither accepts the HSCA. To use a Biblical analogy, had Moses come down from the mountain twice with 2 different sets of tablets and told the people below that the 2nd set was a rethinking of the 1st set of tablets, how do you think the Boss would feel if the 2nd set was ignored altogether? Another analogy is to build a house & put it on the market for sale. How does it look to the realtor when a repairman has to keep coming back to the structure to repair cracks & leakage problems in it? Just sayin' BM

Thank you for taking the time to respond & inform the EF, David. I'm sure all EF visitors & members are enlightened by the info & personal insights you graciously shared here. I always hope Marina will see that here at EF are a multitude of people who care about her & would do anything within their ability to help her & her daughters cope with the sudden, unexpected & cruel avalanche that befell them 51 years ago. For a man who has devoted his life to making sense of the crime of the last century, I also hope the Nobel & Pulitzer folks keep you in their thoughts & considerations when they determine who is worthy of their awards. Great stuff you have there, Ron! Satirical humor is an enjoyable vehicle when used as a teaching aid & the message often sticks in people's memory banks better. Some famous educators, comedians & other celebs owe their fortunes & careers to effective satirical humor. For example, in view of current civil disobedience events in Baltimore, NYC & other cities, who can forget Chris Rock's famous routine that concluded with the warning of, 'Everybody knows that if the police have to chase after you, they're bringing an [substituted word = 'booty'] whipping' with them'. (lol) That small bit of satirical humor help launch what turned into a multi-million dollar long lasting career for Mr. Rock back when he was first getting his feet wet in a stand-up comedy career. To David Lifton: I don't know the ins & outs of this case at the level you do. If you had a chance to ask Marina Oswald questions about Lee Oswald (and anything else), what would you ask her? I have a feeling Marina will see those questions here at EF & might even respond. If Marina or her representative is reading this, I would like to ask her these questions: -Did Lee Oswald indicate to Marina the evening or night before the ambush of JFK that he intended to take photos of the President when his motorcade passed his place of employment? Did Marina ask her husband to take photos of JFK on Friday? -Did Marina's husband have any visitors or phone calls when she saw him last? Did Marina hear the garage door open or close while Lee was inside it? Was Marina aware of any vehicles that pulled up to Ruth Paine's house that Lee Oswald may have given something to the driver & vice versa? -Did Lee ever tell Marina he suspected or knew his mail was being intercepted & read? -Did Lee ever tell Marina he suspected or knew someone was impersonating him? -Is there anything Marina would like to tell us that has been filtered previously & gotten publicized wrong? I like the analyst's method of covering up the evidence: remove a couple of bolts, nuts & washers aboard the C-130 cargo plane that flew JFK's death car out of Dallas & replace John Connally's jump seat with an unrigged one with no blast residue. Hi Ron, This is the part of the saga I don't understand. The US Government had the final say on the JFK assassination with the HSCA report in 1978. No action has been taken to modify its conclusions that JFK was probably killed by a conspiracy of some kind, LHO's bullets did all the damage & his helper was incompetent. Why would the Government care about anyone bad mouthing its conclusions when the matter is settled? The Government seems to respond when people skip paying their taxes, gather in the streets, display weapons or hang out with religious fanatics. Disappointment & rejection of the Government's investigation & conclusion regarding the death of JFK doesn't seem to garnish a ripple in the stream of life, does it? The Government doesn't go after LN'ers arguing the HSCA is wrong & the WC Report it replaced got it right. It can be said that they wreck as much havoc with the global public as CT'ers do. Let's not forget the MSM that consistently reports & broadcasts that LHO alone assassinated JFK. That is NOT what the US Government concluded in 1978 with the HSCA; the Government concluded LHO had some help in the deed. TV networks consistently broadcast TV specials pushing the 'Oswald did it alone' theme. The Government doesn't punish the MSM for any of this. MSM needs FCC licenses to broadcast. One would think MSM would wear velvet gloves when reporting on Government reports to avoid repercussions but it appears MSM does what it wants, doesn't it? The statement Gary Mack made in 'The Men Who Killed Kennedy' about there being two official reports on the death of President Kennedy is inaccurate; there is ONE & ONE only official report on the death of JFK & that is the HSCA's 1978 report that debunked & rescinded the earlier WC Report. Military employees can be court martialed for following a rescinded order while ignoring the authority that replaced it. So why isn't EVERYONE in prison? (LOL). Who is going to pay taxes when everybody is in prison? I don't believe either the WC or the HSCA & I've read dozens of CT & a few LN books. I've seen all the JFK TV specials pushing the 'Oswald did it' theme. I visit a couple of the JFK online forums & blogs. I've discussed the JFK assassination in public & in private. I've sent & received emails on the subject. I've gone to bookstores & purchased CT & LN books. I bought several tickets to see the JFK movie when it first came out. I gave speeches & book reports in high school. Wrote term papers in college. I'm obviously guilty of rattling the Government's tree on the JFK case. Why am I still here? If I have to share a prison cell with the likes of other 'tree shakers' like Mark Lane, John McAdams, Megyn Kelly, Bill O'Reilly, Gerald Posner, etc, I'm letting 'them' know now that I'm not settling on anyone other than Megyn Kelly. It's either Megyn as my cellmate or finish me off in the van when I'm arrested. I've shaken the tree much harder & longer than Ron. 'They' should come after & bring me in first. It's not my fault I'm the way I am now; it's the Government's fault. Had Uncle Sam simply told me it didn't know what happened to JFK & who was responsible instead of feeding me BS, that would have worked with me just fine & saved me a lot of time I'll never get back & money I wasted searching for answers that made sense. Hi, Douglas: At :53 seconds into this video there is a scene of JFK's limo passing the photographer with a man stretched out across the top of the back seat. I assume this was Clint Hill. The scene looks to be over-exposed & extremely bright. I've attached a couple of fast screen grabs from that scene to the bottom of this post. Perhaps those EF members with good video enhancing skills can bring out better details & EF member Gary Mack can tell us where that scene was filmed & who filmed it. If that is Clint Hill stretched across the top of the limo's back seat, it's the only such film footage I've ever seen of Mr. Hill doing such on the limo's journey to Parkland. Pat presents a galaxy worth of material Mrs. Rodgers did not have access to post-assassination that expands on in great detail & drives home more forcefully just what Mrs. Rodgers was explaining to her class of adolescents had happened to President Kennedy in the weeks following his ambush & death in Dallas. What Mrs. Rodgers (an adult from the WWII era) did was analyze the initial reporting on the crime & came to a conclusion that the story being disseminated by the media about what happened & who was responsible was 'fishy'. According to Mrs. Rodgers, what your book is about is no less 'fishy' than the original story it is derived from. I was using my personal experience with Mrs. Rodgers as a metaphor to illustrate that the suspicion about the original 'Official explanation' of JFK's death was not a phenomenon that began with the 'Beatles', Disco, Hip-Hop, Rap or newer 'generations'; it began with adults that had experienced WWII directly or indirectly and were existing under the constant fear that communist nations could & would attack the USA at any moment & strip any survivors of their freedoms. I did not use it to mean that I am incapable of doing my own thinking. I don't find you or others who argue your position as any type of 'enemy' of the people; you do, after all, argue the 1st 'Official explanation' of JFK's death (Oswald did it solo). That's an obsolete argument. That determination was rescinded by the HSCA in 1978 that changed things to 'Oswald did it with some really lousy help'. As I stated before, I find your presence & those who mimic you (prosecutor) a necessary element of the US judicial system, regardless if I agree with your position or not. Some may question what authority do you have to ignore the HSCA & its determination that Oswald had some help in the assassination & stick with the WC's version of events? The HSCA WAS the authority that replaced the WC's earlier determination that LHO acted alone. In the military, one can be court martialed for following a rescinded order & ignoring the authority that replaced it. Mrs. Rodgers gives you a 1 in 3 chance of being right by arguing the WC determination that LHO did it alone & a 2 in 3 chance of being wrong. You can better your odds to 50/50 by dropping the 'Oswald did it alone" WC conclusion & arguing the HSCA conclusion that 'Oswald did it with some really inefficient help'. What a lot of the public missed during the onslaught of the JFK 50 TV specials pushing the 'Oswald did it alone' position is that position was replaced by the HSCA in 1978 & is no longer officially valid. IOW, 'Oswald did it alone' was taken off the table by the HSCA in 1978 & that determination has not been modified by the US Government since. Those who continue to argue the WC contention that 'Oswald did the crime alone' & ignore the Official report that replaced it (HSCA - 'Oswald did it with a helper') in essence become their own worst enemies in the moment they begin to preach (paraphrasing Bob Dylan). By not supporting the conclusions of the HSCA & working against the US Government's explanation of the death of President Kennedy, they become CT'ers in the process. Working within the confines of the HSCA, former Justice Department attorney John T. Orr submitted to Janet Reno in the late '90's his analysis concluding that not only did Lee Oswald have excellent help, but Oswald's 'help' actually killed JFK. My apologies, Mr. Von Pein. Part of my lineage is Swedish & German; I should have known better (sigh). BTW, I find both sides of the story interesting & necessary. Imagine our judicial system consisting of no prosecution or no defense for the accused. There once was a time in America when things were like that; accusing someone of 'bewitching' their livestock & causing a cow to suddenly die was once good enough evidence to get an accused burned at the stake. I believe you argue what Hoover told LBJ was 'weak evidence' as well as it can be argued & your faith in the work of the WC is admirable in the face of LBJ didn't even buy it. Had you been that fly on the wall, you would have initially heard the WC wrestle with the allegation that Mr. Oswald was a paid FBI informant & Commissioners complaining that Hoover had pre-determined what had happened (WCD 298) and was leaking his conclusions to the press like a cracked water main. Not to mention the goal of the WC not to start WWIII & kill over '40 million lives in an hour'. I know you pride yourself on not being swayed by CT's but you never met Mrs. Rodgers. I believe if you had met & argued with her, by the time she got though keeping you after class & wearing out your palm & britches with her ruler, you'd weaken & see things her way (LOL). Mrs. Rodgers would have told you that there are just 3 possibilities in this case: Oswald did it solo, Oswald did it (with help) & Oswald was framed & blamed for something others did. David Von Pein: A highly religious, Southern Baptist lady helped mold my impressions of what happened to President Kennedy & why the weeks following the ambush in Dallas. She was my 5th grade teacher & she told the class consistently that the whole sordid affair was not only evil, but 'fishy' (something that goes hand & hand with evil, we were informed). One thing that always stayed with me from Mrs. Rodgers was her interpretation of 'why' the assassination occurred: to start WWIII. To her, 'who did it' did not matter as much as 'why it was done'. To portray Lee Oswald as a weird 'kook' would probably bring about an argument from Mrs. Rodgers with you, Mr. Pein (if she was still alive). In her way of thinking, you would be distracting from the 'why it was done' in such a low-life caricature of mysterious world traveler Mr. Oswald & you would not be addressing all the other evil that pops up in the aftermath of the assassination: the quick accusation of the alleged assassin, the collection & interpretation of misleading evidence & the clouds of mystery hanging over the late President's autopsy (to name but a few). Not to mention a year before the ambush there was enough Soviet nukes aimed at the USA from Cuban soil to blow a hole in the planet & Castro threatening U.S. leaders in the newspapers a few weeks before JFK was gunned down. Add to the mix all the information that has been published from all Federal investigations & the works published globally by dedicated researchers & analysts and..... ....Mrs. Rodgers would tell you it was more than Oswald & it was done to start WWIII. Hi there, David. I admire your photo work & analysis & wanted to answer you before I get involved in a project later tonight. According to the two researchers in the link I posted in post #2015 (the visitor count is near 20,000 for 2 weeks on the Internet), when James 'Ike' Altgens returned to the Dallas Morning News a few blocks South on Houston Street from Dealey Plaza & after calling in & notifying the newspaper he had witnessed & photographed the ambush, Ike's photos were handled by 'someone who grabbed my camera' & Altgens was sent to Parkland. Normally, Altgens would have developed his own photos & sent them out on the news wire. While Altgens had a solid jump on the competition with exclusive photos, his exclusive photos were held back & broadcast on TV much later in the day. Walter Cronkite showed Altgens6 (cropped) in the late aftertoon/early evening 22 Nov '63. Other than James Altgens, Dave Wiegman was the only other professional photographer to catch a portion of the ambush in Dealey Plaza on film, making Altgens photos exclusive property; yet they were held back for a period of 4-5 hours (according to the researchers in the link). Abe Zapruder & Marilyn Sitzman are conspiuously missing from Dave Wiegman's film, even though he captured JFK's limo departing Elm Street while running over to the area the Zapruder/Sitzman team were filming. Some analysts believe the couple were darkend out of the dark appearing film & others believe the film was edited & the portion of the film depicting Zapruder & Sitzman leaving the film pedestal was edited out of the final product broadcast several times on TV the assassination weekend. Being alive during the assassination weekend as a pre-teen, I remember seeing Altgens 6 & 7 in the Saturday, 23 Nov 1963 newspaper. When I returned to school after JFK's funeral, my teacher (this was back in the day when there was only one teacher for all subjects, all school day long) showed her class more newspapers with additional Altgens photos that had been published from Saturday onward. No Altgens photos from Parkland were published that I can remember nor have I ever seen any Altgens photos from Parkland published, have you? It may be of interest to you & younger EF visitors, that initially the Altgens6 photo was described as depicting JFK slumped across the back seat of his limo, his head in Jackie's lap & Jackie holding up JFK's limp right arm. As the post-assassination week progressed, this description was changed to JFK 'clutching his throat'. This entire Altgens saga is currently generating red flags for a number of reasons besides Altgens losing possession of his film & camera after the ambush & someone 'else' developing & releasing Altgens photos on the newswire in a suspicious state of appearance: 1. Altgens told the FBI that armed SS men & policemen ran up the knoll after the shooting & he followed them in the hopes of getting a photo of the assassin. The area these officials ran to is cropped out of Altgens 7. Other eyewitnesses also reported armed SS men converging on the knoll. 2. A photo Altgens took is missing. 3. With all the chaos around him, in Altgens8, what caught his eye was Zapruder leaving the pergola via the alcove, not the Newmans or the Hestors lying on the grass by Ike Altgens. This suggests to some analysts a hasty 'false photo scene' to account for another missing photo. 4. Altgens originally wanted to get a motorcade photo with the Dallas skyline in the background. That's why he tried to gain access to the TOP. He had his camera set to catch as much of the TSBD & Dal-Tex surface as he could get, yet his photo only reaches the lower floors of both buildings. 5. When one adds the mysterious, unidentified railroad 'detective' on the TOP, the phantom train passing at the time of the ambush blocking one of the two DPD officer's stationed as guards view of the shooting, Dan Rather on the other side of the TOP oblivious to the ambush & the convergence of law enforcement officials on the railyards, many questions arise as to what transpired there. Altgens photos have joined the long list of JFK ambush visuals that have been accused of being victims of photo manipulation. JFK's limo might have caught a reflection of the missing corner of the TUP bridge. I saw an analysis of the z-film posted on Y/T in which the visual analyst believes the entire right side of JFK's limo (the side facing Zapruder) was blacked out as it emerged from the shrub in front of Zapruder, thus eliminating reflections from the stockade fence & TUP bridge corner. With Altgens camera, it would have been a simple matter of re-shooting the scenes he had filmed earlier & incorporating the new backdrops, eliminating what was contained in the original exposures. With backdrops photographed after the ambush, JFK's limo could have been moved closer to or further away from where Ike Altgens photographed it. Spectators on the sidewalk, meridian grass, TSBD doorway & Dal-Tex bldg could have been monkeyed around with also. You've got a good topic for discussion, David. I'll check out your progress, but probably won't join in the conversation. It's no hassle lurking & less pressure on the good folks running the website to accomodate those with an apparent intent to pirate, divert or destroy the good that serious, well intentioned researchers like David Josephs strives for. It's no secret that most, if not all JFK forums constantly battle with the freedom of speech the webmaster grants to visitors or members with those who use the opportunity to hijack the discussion for their own purposes. The most common description of such pirates is 'trolls'; other descriptions are also used. Jack White's frequent battles with such are infamous on the internet. I find anyone asking me to recommend an illegal drug to use (insinuating I am a drug user) following a statement I made unacceptable also. Those that remember the old Lancer forum and the fighting that took place over whether Altgens6 was altered or not will recognize that question as 'xxxxx bait'. When visitors that don't comment (lurkers) observe someone bullying posters & no moderator/administration action taken to insure a fair exchange of communication for all contributors taken, visitors will assume that the bully is acting on behalf of the folks running the website. I've run across anti-Altgens6 rhetoric in other forums & blogs. It wasn't my intention to strike a nerve. The folks that saw what I posted & can 'see' PM's profile that do visuals work know where to look & where to utilize their enhancement skills. That served my purpose. Books like DVP's are destined to fail because the story was never sellable in its long history. The public didn't buy the 'Oswald did it' explanation 51 years ago & still want the truth today. BM edited to make a kinder, gentler statement.

Howdy Kathy & Kathleen: During the JFK 50th TV specials & several interviews & speaking engagements that were published online shortly after, Clint Hill described 'pushing', 'placing' & 'putting' Jackie back in her seat when he arrived at the limo following the headshot. The 'slapping' Jackie may have come from YouTube; there is a mixture of serious research & garbage posted on Y/T concerning all aspects of the JFK assassination. I've run across videos accusing Jackie of shooting JFK in the throat, John Connally pulling a pistol out from under his hat, Nellie shot JFK for ignoring her hitting on him, etc. Don't forget the Greer & Kellerman did it stuff either. Garbage analysis is counter-productive & helps flood the history of the event with factoids that are difficult to remove from the public's perception of the history that occurred in Dallas & Washington 51 years ago. Kathleen may have picked up something from any number of such Y/T videos. Internet radio interviews too. BTW, Kathy, did you know the Rolling Stones song called 'Lady Jane' was about the queen who reined for 9 days & was executed as a teenager? I didn't. Lady Jane was from the House of Tudor, a subject you indicated you like. How do I know Mick Jagger & Keith Richards wrote their song about Lady Jane Grey if neither talks to or hangs out with me? Answer: I don't; I read that 'factoid' somewhere online or heard it in an interview. Moral: Go easy on Kathleen ('cut her some slack'). She's no more guilty of anything we all have done one time or another when recalling something we read or heard somewhere. None of us has the capability to cite a reference for all we have seen & heard in our lives. Opportunities to do so don't always exist at the time. Best BM

Thanks for the response, Greg. I look at the situation as if I were waiting at the bottom of the mountain & Moses had just come down with the tablets. I wasn't up there with him to see & hear what transpired. His word was (and still is) good enough for me. The elite few that saw the 'other' z-film gives hope that someday, someone, some agency or institution or some beneficiary of someone's death & inheritance will not guard the 'other' film like a dog guarding its bone & release it to the public to clarify history. Enslaving Americans' history is not what America is supposed to be about. Best of luck to you now & in your future, Mr. Burnham. One might notice after reading Pat Speer's 3 Dan Rather TV broadcast 'takes' that Dan doesn't mention JFK's head exploding & gore flying in the air up, forward & away from the President's head. Could this be a sign of the times where such graphic detail was not allowed to be broadcast on TV? Back in those days, married people were depicted on TV as sleeping in separate beds; sometimes separate bedrooms. Or does it mean such images were not present in the z-film Dan Rather viewed? In the 'Dan Rather reports from the scene' broadcasts posted at YouTube & featured in several TV documentaries, one might also notice Dan Rather failed to mention that some witnesses indicated the shooting originated from the grassy knoll area. Dan kept the focus on the 6th floor TSBD 'sniper's nest' window whenever he went on TV in Dallas & CBS relayed his local broadcasts to the nation & the world. Dan Rather also fails to mention he was supposedly standing at a film drop several yards on the western side of the TUP during the ambush, did not hear any shots being fired during the ambush, did not follow the swarm of police officers & detectives converging in the rail yards searching for an assassin or assassin & did not interview any of the eyewitnesses he passed in Dealey Plaza on his walk back to his TV station. Just how close to the ambush was Dan Rather? In his 2013 AXS TV special (Dan Rather: My Days In Dallas - A Remembrance) to reach the area behind the stockade fence on the grassy knoll (where Sheriff Decker ordered his men to 'hold everything secure"), Rather had merely walk up the slope of the TUP & cross the train tracks. A matter of yards. Quite a trained, professional reporter, responding to a Presidential ambush playing out yards from him, wasn't he? How many TV reporters have you ever seen avoid an area law enforcement converges on in pursuit of a suspect? I recently read an interesting synopsis online comparing Dan Rather's assassination reporting to that of Bill O'Reilly claiming he was present when George de Mohrenschildt allegedly killed himself on March 29, 1977 in Florida. The importance of O'Reilly's lie is that it eliminates the suspicion that a hired killers or killers entered the house of the important assassination witness & murdered him (Being at the man's doorstep, O'Reilly would have seen or heard them breaking into the house, right?). Rather's reporting focused solely on Lee Oswald & no other shooters & he kept himself out of the ambush. The synopsis concluded with both reporters rising to the top of their professions following their public deceptions, indicating that lying pays off extremely well for some people in some instances. If a poll is ever taken on who made out the best after their assassination coverage, my money goes on Bill O'Reilly, Bill gets to sit next to another multi-millionaire TV journalist broadcast after broadcast: the gorgeous Megyn Kelly (LOL). Neither would give me the time of day if I asked them for it IMHO. Just sayin'... BM

Robert, that 2012 Gary Stover interview of Mary Moorman link you provided is the best interview of a living JFK assassination witness I have ever seen since the event occurred 51 years ago. Mr. Stover did his homework & asked the hard questions other interviewers fail to ask Mary. He even asked her if the Z-film depicts what she saw: Mary's answer, "not really". If all JFK assassination witnesses were asked the pertinent & controversial issues questions like Mary Moorman was in Mr. Stover's interview, there would be a far greater understanding of how the crime happened & less avenue for debates that lead nowhere IMHO.
