  1. Revealed: The ‘Human Printer’ Who Follows Trump Everywhere

by Edith Olmsted May 22, 2024

    https://www.thedailybeast.com/trumps-human-printer-natalie-halp-reportedly-wields-extraordinary-power?ref=home

“A 32-year-old Trump fan has quietly risen to become one of Trump’s closest aides. Her superpower? A portable printer! The Bulwark identified Trump’s “human printer” for the first time on Wednesday as Natalie Harp, whose main job is to follow Trump around with a printer so she can deliver cherry-picked information to him. Harp’s story of beating cancer thanks to a Trump-backed law regarding experimental therapies caught the president’s eye in 2019. She was hired by his campaign in 2020, and went on to spout far-right rhetoric as an anchor for One American News network before being rehired by the campaign last year. She reportedly receives little oversight, and one insider told The Bulwark that she spends more time with Trump than anyone else on staff, giving her total control over what makes its way from the internet to his hands. The fangirl-turned-information-tsar goes everywhere Trump goes, from the courthouse in Manhattan to the golf course in Florida. “IF YOU WANT THE PRESIDENT TO SEE SOMETHING, the best route is Natalie,” said one source. “Don’t underestimate her importance.” The Bulwark also reported that Harp was the “junior staffer” who re-posted a “Unified Reich” video on Trump’s Truth Social account. She couldn’t be reached for comment by The Bulwark. “

"The Daily Beast reported Monday that Trump Media, the publicly traded parent company of Trump Social, reported a net loss of nearly $330 million in the first three months of 2024.

"Trump Media...reported $770,500 in revenue—crediting its “nascent advertising initiative”—down from $1.1 million last year," the report states. "However, it also reported a net loss of $327.6 million during the first three months of the year, as compared with a loss of $210,300 a year ago."

This also comes as the company that previously audited Trump Media, Colorado-based BF Borgers, has been charged with fraud by the Securities and Exchange Commission, prompting the company to drop them. The company's quarterly earnings report had been delayed due to the issues surrounding that dismissal."

The company is losing more and earning less. Doesn't seem like a winning strategy to me.

  3. Trump's "God Bless the USA" Bible deletes women's voting rights and slavery amendments

by Mark Frauenfelder May 15, 2024

    https://boingboing.net/2024/05/15/trumps-god-bless-the-usa-bible-deletes-womens-voting-rights-and-slavery-amendments.html

“Donald Trump's overpriced "God Bless the USA" Bible is missing Constitutional Amendments that MAGA cultists don't like, like the ones abolishing slavery and giving women the right to vote.

    From MTN:

Multiple video reviews analyzed by MeidasTouch revealed that notably missing from the Constitution in Trump's Bible are the amendments following the Bill of Rights which make up the Constitution's first 10 amendments. Trump's Bible jumps from the original Constitution to the Bill of Rights and then to the Pledge of Allegiance, skipping constitutional amendments 11-27.

The 13th Amendment abolishing slavery? Gone. The 19th letting women vote? Poof. The 15th prohibiting racist voter suppression? Disappeared down the same Orwellian memory hole as Trump's respect for democracy.”

Once again, it is impossible to overstate how utterly worthless polls have now become.

The polling industry is hopelessly broken, and may cease to exist after November.

Polling is only as good as the people stupid enough or lonely enough to sit around and answer the phone from strangers asking them personal questions.

These are the same people who call into C-Span and wait around on the phone for hours so they can vent when it's their turn.

"This is Mike from Vermont. Go ahead Mike".

America Deserves Every Bit of This Trump Trial Depravity

By Michael Ian Black Published May 15, 2024

“The Trump carnival is once again on full, garish display. It’s a discordant fantasia of conmen, grifters, and lowlifes. It’s cheap mafiosi tactics and secretly recorded phone calls and disgraced lawyers in ill-fitting suits. It’s bad sex and dark threats from a mystery man in a Las Vegas parking lot. Glowering over it all is our ringmaster, DT Barnum, as he awaits the verdict of a jury of his peers in November.

Here we are now, entertain us.”

“Cover and evacuate” was the protocol, which was broken.

Source, please. Machine guns? In a crowd setting?

    Denise,

Like I said, I don't remember where I read this, but the change took place on the evening of November 21st, and it took the DPD by surprise.

A car full of policemen armed with tommy guns would not be totally out of line in light of what happened to Charles DeGaulle at Petit-Clamart in August, 1962.

    wc testimony of Will Fritz

    https://www.jfk-assassination.net/russ/testimony/fritz1.htm

Mr. BALL. On November 22, 1963, you had been told the President or before November 22, 1963, you had been told that the President was coming to Dallas?
    Mr. FRITZ. Yes, sir.
Mr. BALL. And had you taken certain precautions for his safety?
Mr. FRITZ. Well, we had taken some precautions but those were changed. We were told in the beginning that we would be in the parade directly behind it, I don't know whether it was the second or third car, but the Vice President's car, that we would be directly behind that, and we did make preparation for that.
But at 10 o'clock the night before the parade, Chief Stevenson called me at home and told me that had been changed, and I was assigned with two of my officers to the speakers' stand at the Trade Mart.

Captain. Purdue Lawrence was in charge of traffic control and parade security.

He was sumoned to a meeting on the afternoon of the 21st. William Lawson of the Secret Service was meeting with Curry and the Assistant Police Chiefs. They had already been meeting before he arrived:

    WC testimony of Purdue Lawrence

    https://www.jfk-assassination.net/russ/testimony/lawrence.htm

Mr. GRIFFIN. Now, did you receive another set of instructions or orders after that?
Captain LAWRENCE. Yes; on the evening of November 21, this was the first time that I had attended any security meeting at all in regards to this motorcade.
At approximately 5 p.m. I was told to report to the conference room on the third floor, and when I arrived at the conference room the deputy chiefs were in there, there were members of the Secret Service--Mr. Sorrels, Captain Gannaway, Captain Souter of radio patrol, and Capt. Glen King, deputy

chiefs, assistant chiefs, and Chief Curry, and one gentleman, who I assume was in charge of the security for the Secret Service.
Mr. GRIFFIN. When you met with the Secret Service, what do you recall that the Secret Service did discuss?
Captain LAWRENCE. I sat in on the discussion and I did not participate in any at all, and from what I heard there would be sufficient personnel inside the Trade Mart--they were discussing this, and these detectives assignments were not the ones that I was at that time primarily instructed in, so--I know that they had made some elaborate precautions, which no one discussed with me, but I don't remember all of the conversation that went on regarding that. I was particularly interested in traffic assignments and these were the ones I was listening for.

Mr. GRIFFIN. Was there ever any discussion that you heard about taking precautions designed to prevent some sort of assault on the President that would be more severe than simply placards, picketing, and people throwing rotten eggs and vegetables, and things like that?
Captain LAWRENCE. Not to my knowledge, other than the fact that the Secret Service man in there--when it was mentioned about these motorcycle officers alongside the Presidents car, he said, "No, these officers should be back and if any people started a rush toward the car, if there was any movement at all where the President was endangered in any way, these officers would be in a position to gun their motors and get between them and the Presidential car," and he mentioned, of course, the security and safety of the President and those words were mentioned.
Mr. GRIFFIN. But was that concept of the security and the safety of the President spelled out in any certain details?
Captain LAWRENCE. Not to my knowledge. Now, you see, I'm not familiar with .some of the things that were discussed with the other bureau commanders.

Now, someone who was there was Assistant Police Chief, M.Stevenson.

He submitted a combined after-action report signed by him, Charles Batchelor, and Charled L. Lumpkin. In their combined report, Stevenson wrote,

Combined After-Action Report of Assist Police Chiefs, M.W. Stevenson, Charles Batchelor and

    Charles L. Lumpkin

It was Lawson who nixed the idea.

  7. I don't remember the details off the top of my head, but in case of an attack, the job of the Secret Service was to protect the President, not to engage in a firefight with any prospective attackers. A car full of Dallas Police Detectives armed with machine guns was supposed to be in the parade for that purpose.

That plan was scrapped; to the surprise of Captain Fritz, if I remember right.

This just keeps getting weirder and weirder and weirder.
I’m like the last guy, I have no idea how we are going to explain this to future generations.

  11. There's A GOP Plan For An Execution Spree If Trump Wins The White House

Buried on page 554 of the plan is a directive to execute every remaining person on federal death row — and dramatically expand the use of the death penalty.

By Jessica Schulberg May 9, 2024

    https://www.huffpost.com/entry/gop-plan-for-executions-if-trump-wins_n_663b97a7e4b0bcaefbf76812

“Last year, a coalition effort by conservative groups known as Project 2025 released an 887-page document that lays out policy goals and recommendations for each part of the federal government. Buried on page 554 is a directive to execute every remaining federal death row prisoner — and to persuade the Supreme Court to expand the types of crimes that can be punished with death sentences.”

“The Project 2025 proposal envisions an extreme shift in how the death penalty is used in America. The 13 executions carried out at the end of Trump’s presidency marked the greatest number of federal executions in a single year since 1896.”

    FEDERAL ELECTION COMMISSION

    In the matter of:

Make America Great Again PAC MUR ____

(f/k/a) Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.

    COMPLAINT

    1. Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (“CREW”) brings this

complaint before the Federal Election Commission (“FEC” or “Commission”) seeking an

immediate investigation and enforcement action against Make America Great Again PAC,

formerly the principal campaign committee for Donald J. Trump’s 2020 and 2016 campaigns and operating as Donald J. Trump for President, Inc., for direct and serious violations of the Federal Election Campaign Act (“FECA”).

    2. Federal law requires that political committees accurately report the recipients and

purposes of disbursements of their funds. In violation of this law, Make America Great Again

PAC falsely attributed payments to conduits utilized solely to prevent disclosure of the true

recipient and purpose of its disbursements.

“The lawyer’s firm is reportedly the recipient of about $4.5 million in payments from Respondent, the most recent of which is a $2.5 million payment made on January 13, 2021. The former employee further alleges that payments made to the lawyer’s firm and another entity were to pay settlements of, and legal services related to, complaints of gender discrimination, pregnancy discrimination, and sexual harassment. Id. Recent news reporting also raises concerns about payments to a compliance firm for “reimbursements” for legal expenses.”

  13. Stormy Daniels’s testimony paints a dark picture of Trump’s view of sex and power

by Moira Donegan May 9, 2024

“For a while after that, Trump kept calling Daniels, asking to see her again. When he called, he would again mention the prospect of her appearing on The Apprentice. They met one more time, a year later, in a hotel room where Trump was watching Shark Week. He tried to initiate sex again, and Daniels refused. Later, she got a call informing her that she would not be cast on his show.”

  15. Trump plans Minnesota fundraiser on day of Barron's graduation: report

by Adam Nichols May 7, 2024

    https://www.rawstory.com/barron-graduation/

“After weeks of complaining that his hush money trial would stop him attending his youngest son’s high school graduation, Donald Trump’s judge finally agreed to pause the trial for a day — and the ex-president swiftly organized a fundraiser.

Trump is now expected to speak at the Minnesota Republican Party’s Lincoln Reagan dinner on May 17 — the day Barron Trump graduates.

It’s not known if he will be at the graduation ceremony in Florida prior to his Minnesota appearance.”

"Who will explain for me, to my wonderful son, Barron, who is a GREAT Student at a fantastic School, that his Dad will likely not be allowed to attend his Graduation Ceremony, something that we have been talking about for years, because a seriously Conflicted and Corrupt New York State Judge wants me in Criminal Court on a bogus 'Biden Case' which, according to virtually all Legal Scholars and Pundits, has no merit, and should NEVER have been brought,"

Donald Trump to Attend Fundraiser on Day of Barron's Graduation

    https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-attend-fundraiser-day-barrons-graduation-1897759

“In a statement Minnesota GOP chair David Hann commented: "We are thrilled to welcome President Trump back to Minnesota to headline our Lincoln Reagan dinner, an annual tradition that reminds us of the roots of our Party and the leaders who have been most impactful in promoting our American values."

“The exact time and location of the Lincoln Reagan dinner was not released in the Minnesota GOP’s announcement.”

    https://nordot.app/1159870516748632357?c=592622757532812385

“Ever since it was revealed that in her upcoming book Noem almost proudly wrote about shooting and killing a 14-month-old puppy — then triple downed on it after a bipartisan furor broke — her viability for being Trump’s pick has plummeted. And then went further south when it turns out her book mentioned her couragously standing up to North Korea’s dictator when, in fact, she never met him.

Which raises the another question? Former fabulist GOP Congressman Geore Santos and Kristi Noem: separated at birth?”

  17. On Saturday's fund raiser:

"At another point, he complained about having to take so many pictures with donors and told people in the crowd that if they didn’t get a picture, it was because they didn’t give enough money," the report continued. "He also claimed that a wedding at the property got preference over the donors because the wedding was paying more per person to be there."

Trump also allowed some guests who donated a million to share the stage with him.

"At one point, as if he were at an auction, he told the crowd: 'Anyone who makes a $1 million donation right now to the Republican Party … I will let you come up and speak.' Two donors then came to the stage, and one told the crowd: 'Donald J. Trump is the person that God has chosen,'" the report noted.

I'm confused. I thought God drove OUT the money lenders.
