One thing that I don't think gets asked often enough, is, if Oswald did indeed walk east down Elm St. after the assassination, where was he headed?

For me, I think a clue lies in where he caught the bus.

If it was Oswald, he boarded the bus at Elm and Field, in front of the Rio Grande Bldg.  Back in 2021, I wrote a piece on the various agencies who had offices in the Rio Grande Bldg. Among them were the 112th INTC, and the INS. I think the ATTU (later known as the ATF - Frank Ellsworth) also had their offices there.i

When the WC asked Will Fritz how he knew Oswald lived on Beckley, he told them that an officer, whose name he could not remember, stopped him out in the hall before he went in to interrogate Oswald for the first time, and told him so.

Now, I believe that what Fritz said was a lie, but somebody told him.

I have my own thoughts on that, but that's for another time.

However, I do think that somebody had their hooks in Oswald, and I think he was trying to make contact, and that's why he he headed east from the TSBD. If he was trying to get home, heading east would have done him no good.

If he takes all 91 of his felony counts to the Supreme Court, that's all they are going to be doing for the next five years.

I don't much like James Hosty, but in all fairness, the FBI had no role to play in motorcade security.

If my memory serves me right, Hosty was meeting with Military Intelligence Agent, Ed Coyle and I think A5F Agent, Frank Ellsworth to discuss the recent arms theft from the National Guard Armory in Terrell, TX.

To the best of my knowledge (and I could be wrong), the handwriting experts did not compare the signature on the SS card with the signature on the PO money order rifle purchase; which is astounding to me, because the Hidell SS card is the sine qua non that ties Oswald to the rifle purchase.

That's why, when I read that Oswald declined to admit that the signature on the SS card was his, the hair on the back of my neck started to go up.

Something about that signature is very, very important.

He doesn't give any specific security cause for concern from the bulbs.

Of domestic garlic, The California Farmland Trust says that 90 percent of commercial garlic comes from that state."

I think you're right.

The Hidell signature on these two documents do not look like the Hidell signature written by Marina as provided in VOLUME VIII of the the HSCA Report pp. 374 and 375.

I am not a handwriting expert, but in my amateur opinion, they are written by the same person.

I say this for three reasons:

1) The way the two sides of the letter H do not touch,

2) The way the letter H flows into the letter I. This is very unusuaI. and consistent in both signaturs

3) The offset dot above the letter i. Again, this is consistent in both.

I was mostly concerned with the signature. That's really what links the rifle to Oswald. A guy named Scott testified to the HSCA said that the "fill-ins" on the Postal money order were in Oswald's handwriting, but he didn't address the signature.

As I sit here, I can't think of any time when Oswald actually signed the name Hidell to anything.
