  1. Yes W. Another Trumpism! His base overwhelmingly cheers, "Yeah ,We'd feel the same way! Though some of them were in the crowd standing right alongside each other! ****** Again why did Trump interview with Woodward again? To further extend the "Goldfinger" analogies.. Did Woodward turn the tables and "beckon Trump to enter his web of sin?" But Trump, "DON"T GO IN ! ...........Oh too late!😢 You can't feel too sorry for Trump. If Trump was really into conspiracy theories he would have known Woodward was CIA. Another sucker and loser bites the dust!
  2. No doubt Joe, Trump was hoping to coast as a "one trick pony' on the economy and when the virus came, he went deer in ht headlights and just tried to tell himself it wasn't happening. But I'm not sure what kind of power you're suggesting that Woodward has to compel Trump to accept an interview with him? True about Woodward, Paul. Woodward becomes the 2020 John Bolton ll, holding our for his book above the national interest. I agree Kathy. What I thought was interesting in the Woodward interview, and really all the more damning of Trump. Back in February Trump says to Woodward that the death rate is much higher than influenza, and over 5%! In reality, there were never estimates that high, and the death rate is not even a tenth of that. So for all of his efforts, which I personally rate at a score of 2 in a scale of 10. Ignoring his own experts, assembling people and ignoring risks of infection. His refusal to wear masks and take the virus seriously, Advising Michigan and other states to "liberate" against the advice of his experts. His deplorable record on testing, actually saying stupidly that testing is over rated"! His complete "deer in the headlights" hesitancy to use the Defense Protection Act and order industry to make PPE, his pushing off responsibility to the states. etc. In all this time, if he actually thought the death rate was 5%, he was willing by his effort to accept up to 17 million deaths! Of course people would say that's unfair because if he was more adept at math, he would have made a greater effort, but still, could anything have made him move with dispatch?!
  3. I see what's going on Paul, This week Kim Jong Un will also be nominated for his precious love letter of peace to President Trump. KJU said:"Even now I cannot forget that moment of history when I firmly held Your Excellency's hand at that beautiful and sacred location as the whole world watched with great interest and hope to relive the honor of that day." That's pretty hard core peace!
  4. I think you're starting to catch on Jim. It was never about the oppressive "Deep state" going after "nouveau riche Jed Clampett" Trump of Wheeler lore. It was just another "follow the money". Do you really think AG RFK wouldn't be rolling over in his grave at the pussy Mueller investigation who refused to look into Trump's financial connections throughout the world, including Russian oligarchs, (we don't dare say Putin ) If RFK was in a powerful position, Do you really RFK would have backed down so quickly at interrogating Trump? In an impeachment proceeding, do you think RFK would have just been ambivalent about handing a subpoena to John Bolton? Probably no one is more emblematic of the unearned excess of the modern day, which is the real story of this era. Not a group of bureaucratic keystone cops. If you made a decent attempt at Trump you could uncover a termite's nest of international crooks. But he'll probably end up in some way leveraging his office, unless he actually got away with it scot free by being re elected. Yes Trump hasn't bought buildings for quite a while now. He merely sells his name, and in some cases uses his management company. 2 years ago, he was run out of Panama City because his name was giving the owner's a bad name. https://www.france24.com/en/20180926-marriott-takes-control-panama-trump-tower-after-long-dispute If I make it in Panama City, I can make it anywhere!
  5. Part of Kim Jong Un's letter to Trump. Trump has not released his replies, but this dude can write, and these 2 sound "smoking hot." Kim writes: Even now I cannot forget that moment of history when I firmly held Your Excellency's hand at that beautiful and sacred location as the whole world watched with great interest and hope to relive the honor of that day. As I mentioned at that time, I feel very honored to have established an excellent relationship with a person such as Your Excellency. Some more excerpts from other letters: as we enter the new year the whole world will certainly once again come to see, not so far in the future, another historic meeting between myself and Your Excellency reminiscent of a scene from a fantasy film. ***** Like the brief time we had together a year ago in Singapore, every minute we shared 103 days ago in Hanoi was also a moment of glory that remains a precious memory. https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/09/politics/kim-jong-un-trump-letters-rage-book/index.html
  6. I know Steve, with all this covid thing in the news, I miss him! I never hear about him anymore! Did you hear Kim Jong Un bragged to Trump about the time he killed his uncle? I'm sure Trump was drooling at every detai!. https://wxow.com/2020/09/10/book-kim-jong-un-told-trump-about-killing-his-uncle/
  7. You know Ron, I posted that in another forum in a thread talking about masks and the virus, and a guy sent an article I was looking for but hadn't been published until yesterday refuting their methodology. It does seem like an outrageous figure that would involve some extrapolation. And the more you extrapolate, the "iffier" it would have to become. However in fairness, he doesn't discount the possibility of a super spreader event. https://www.forbes.com/sites/brucelee/2020/09/09/did-sturgis-motorcycle-rally-cause-260000-coronavirus-cases-here-are-problems-with-that-study/#2359fd4625a8
  8. Paul said:The possible explanation for why the MIC and by extension Wall Street might prefer Trump over Biden is that a Democrat controlled government will give access to the progressive wing of the party, It's not monolithic, but they both have fear of the Progressive wing. Wall Street prefers Trump because they don't want capital gains taxed as regular income and they don't want the corporate tax boosted up to 28%. Ron said:I would assume that the active military would concur with retired General and former Secretary of Defense Mattis that Trump is "dangerous" and "unfit." Re: military. Of course, Trump is unfit. But Trump overspent to fund the military. I don't what the consensus is, particularly of the top brass. I don't think they by in large particularly like him. You'd think that the "suckers and losers ' comment would turn off the rank and file. But among the rank and file for Trump. There's a bit of the "battered housewife" syndrone.
  9. Joe, I've been down visiting my sister since Monday. I can tell you whatever coloring you've seen in the last 4 days is absolutely nothing compared to up in Santa Cruz or the SF Bay. When I left my daughter in San Jose on Monday at noon, it was 97, and plenty of smoke in the valley. On my way down through Scott's Valley by the CZU it was 106!, I stopped in Capitola, only 7 miles of distance , but by the ocean and it was 86! You were mentioning on Labor Day they were closing the beaches in Monterey with forecasts of 100 degree weather. But when I got down there at 2 PM. A marine layer had come in and the temperature was 73! I thought it was absolutely great! There's a lot of complaining on the local news about the visibility, which isn't good, but I took a walk in Garland Park yesterday, it was 64, it wasn't smoky. Tuesday's light was a little spookier. In the late afternoon sunlight, the leaves on the ground looked like sawdust. Today, it's almost normal, but a little weird. But believe me, you haven't seen anything like it is 50-100 miles North!
  10. That's true Andrew, straining to throw around all his newly learned phrases. Could he be trying to out elite the anti Trump elitists? Now that you mention it, He does appear to be plummeting the depths of desperate desire for male recognition. It is a solemn responsibility we bare, and we must be mindful, holding his fledgling weak identity in our hands, and the resultant cries for attention.. But why us? I'm not sure if I buy the late in life concern over the excesses of the MIC after life long generational Bush fandom, but if this was truly in earnest, I think Ayn Rand would be the next logical step if he could only sit down and read a book.
  11. Joe said: But still, the action of letting Bob Woodward into these 18 one-on-one meet ups with Trump by Trump after Woodward's disparaging book on him, does strike my curiosity. "Fear" was critical enough of Trump to normally incur Trump's signature all out vindictive wrath. Yet, not in this case? My thoughts completely Joe, I think it has to do with setting. Usually Trump sees his press conferences as a battle, because the reporters asking him questions have a limited amount of time to get what they want answered. It is very competitive, where Woodward can act very civil, and seem to defer to Trump and give him plenty of time, occasionally ask a few leading questions, which will usually result in giving Trump plenty of rope to hang himself. P.S. Trump just had a press conference to talk about judges he would appoint, and challenged Biden to give a list of judges he'd appoint if he became President. Why would Biden respond at all? There's never been any precedent for a President to disclose court nominees before he's even elected!
  12. Justice dept seeks to defend Trump defamation case Trump is going to use the Justice Department and taxpayer money to defend him in the defamation suit regarding his rape charge. History repeats itself, there is semen stains on E. Jean Caroll's dress as well. Trump would never give a sample but apparently DNA can only positively determined for 8 months after the rape. At least that's what I've heard. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-54081921 Steve, Regarding Trump selling that Bible. So the proceeds won't go to any charity, it will go directly into Trump's pocket? If so, How could anybody who is as rich as Trump claims to be act like such a unabashed money grubbing whore at every turn? The only explanation I could think is that he's beholding to people and has to be seen to be maximizing every effort to make payment.
  13. Dave said: Sensitive about something? Actually, wasn't talking to you. Wheeler: The white beta male climbed on the back of a minority under the mistaken belief that I give a s**t, and now my capacity to empathize with someone with a legitimate gripe is less. First you're imagining a white male is calling you a racist. Why would that effect your capacity to empathize with someone with a legitimate gripe at all? So you're saying, "don't make me imagine you're calling me a racist because it will lessen my capacity to empathize with someone with a legitimate gripe?" If your empathy is so conditional, we can effect it, that doesn't say much for your convictions of empathy right? So to use your words, We don't give a sh-t how much empathy you say you have, or could have because you've never been noted for empathy anyway. So stop sucking our energy with your empty imaginings!
  14. Another Trump action that is slipping by while we're talking about the confrontation between fascist and anti fascists is that I assume people are counting on either continuing to collect social security or to some day collect it. Trump's now proposing the elimination of the payroll tax that will make the Social Security trust fund run out in 3 years -2023! As it stands right now, it stands to run out in 2029, but at least there's plenty of time to save it and put that date off. https://www.salon.com/2020/08/29/social-security-fund-would-run-out-of-money-in-3-years-if-trump-eliminates-payroll-tax-ssa-analysis-2/
  15. Newest Kennedy Political news: Pelosi backed Joe Kennedy becomes the first Kennedy to lose a Massachusetts election, abandoning his house seat to run as Democrat nominee for Senate against 74 year old reinvented Green Energy Edwin Markey who was backed by AOC. https://www.wbur.org/news/2020/09/01/ed-markey-beats-joe-kennedy
  16. Exactly Sandy, There are millions of people with preconditions (co-morbidities)who live very meaningful and satisfying lives. Wheeler's probably not even aware of that, if he is and he's callous enough to think those people should die, he should at least be honest enough to say so. Wheeler said: Boy are people going to be pissed off when they find out the whole economic shut down was for nothing. Yeah, boy! The only people who are "gonna be pissed"are already pissed, and some understandably would like to open up their businesses, then there are the "disgusted" others with nothing else to do but to rage at their computers like moronic rabid dogs like Wheeler. They're always pissed anyway. About wearing masks, using social distancing and bringing down the curve, this isn't that hard! The fact is the entire death toll up to now in China with 1.4 billion people was accomplished in the last 3 days in the U.S.! Now they know in the future they could release a virus and bring the U.S. and Latin America to it's knees! Wow, that was easy! The anti mask movement is akin to children staging protests that there's too much peer pressure to learn to ride a bicycle and it's JUST TOO HARD!!
  17. Sorry I can't let this go! All this time, we've been debating "Russia Gate" as the detractors would call it. And they'd say "Russia Gate didn't go anywhere". And as it turns out, Mueller was told not to pursue Trump's connections to Putin and Russian Oligarchs! And true to form, no investigation into Trumps finances! No Mueller looking into Trumps taxes , though he could have! As it turns out, Mueller's just following Rosenstein's orders because Rosenstein determines that the Justice Department is too impassioned by the firing of MC Cabe to conduct such an investigation into Trump ties to Russia and puts the nix on it, and we don't truly piece it together until now??? Have I got this right? It's such a "Deep State" with so many levels of protocol, they can't even launch a proper investigation? From Michael Schmidt, the author of the article. https://www.facebook.com/msnbc/videos/2929895080447762
  18. 2 Wheeler BS "facts". BS #1---First a BS Q-Anon quote (Why is anybody assuming anything credible from Wheeler?) about the coronavirus allegedly from the CDC. oves-qanon-claim-retweeted-by-trump-thats-not-what-the-cdc-said/ Twitter removes Q-Anon claim retweeted by trump As of Monday morning, Twitter had not removed a second tweet, also retweeted by the president, that spread the same false claim. The second tweet, by Trump campaign adviser Jenna Ellis, linked to an article on the right-wing website Gateway Pundit that was based on the QAnon supporter’s tweet. Trump shared the false information with his 85 million-plus followers. The CDC’s latest regular update to a public statistics page on the pandemic — there was nothing especially “quiet” about it — said that for 6% of the deaths included in its statistics, “COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned” on the deceased person’s death certificate. That is not at all the same thing as saying only 6% of reported COVID-19 deaths “actually died” from COVID-19. It simply means that the other 94% were listed as having at least one additional factor contributing to their death. For example, it includes people who had diabetes or heart disease or who were obese. People can live with obesity, diabetes or heart disease for years but then get infected with COVID-19 and die quickly. The fact that they also had an underlying condition does not mean that COVID-19 was not a major reason,or the major reason, they died when they did. There is no secret about the fact that pre-existing health conditions can cause people to experience more severe problems from COVID-19. The CDC has long said that older adults and people with other underlying health conditions are more likely to become seriously ill. Its statistics page currently says that for “deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death.” The CDC told CNN in July that COVID-19 will end up as a Top 10 cause of death for 2020. BS#2- Wheeler said they expected a million people in Germany to see Robert Kennedy Jr.in an anti Globalist rally. Actually there 10's of thousands, quite a leap! https://usagag.com/tens-of-thousands-of-germans-protest-against-bill-gates-and-big-pharma/
  19. Exactly Cliff, Trump never had a clear idea what he wanted to accomplish and Fox ended up making him abandon his base and adopt their agenda..
  20. No it's pretty much everywhere. Fox, CBS, NBC. I saw it earlier on CNN, but I saw a close up without the interpreter for the deaf. You can always access the full address if you go to their online sites.
  21. That's a pretty groovy post for Wheeler! Maybe he'd like to go for RFK's health-care-for-all plan! But that could be a conflictf with his 4 time Bush voting historic record. When given a choice, Both Bushes preferred funding a couple trillion to the War in Iraq! He'd be a little more convincing for Wheeler if he used the word "plandemic" instead of pandemic. A real disappointment! Germany's certainly done pretty well with covid! I've always heard it skips a generation, but don't think by any measure this was at all a pro Trump rally. RFK Jr. called Trump a "bully". Again a little understated for the Trump opposition. Doesn't give either side completely what it wants, but then he's a politician!
  22. I agree William, Besides, How far can white protestors realistically convince people that they are more outraged about racial injustice than the actual victims themselves? The polls are starting to reflect that. Some would think that with this newest Blake incident of injustice that public understanding for protesting will revive, but that's wishful thinking and it won't rebound to the point it was before. You may get a very short term bounce. But I agree the best show of unity now would be to acknowledge you're going home for the unity of the country, and to focus their energies toward getting out an expedient timely voter turnout. Despite a suggestion I heard. I don't think Biden has any power to go there and diffuse it. And I wonder about Bernie's ability to move the needle. One factor I can't know about is what is the general amount of damage to public property where's there's largely peaceful protest going on in relatively small areas and riots aren't breaking out like they are in Kenosha. But the Dems can't assume to be cool about it forever.
  23. Wheeler:the kind of bitterness Kirk gets the ignore button for. Whose bitter? heh heh To hear Wheeler tell it, he hasn't read a post of mine in 3 months, so why the obsession to talk about me? Now Raging Queen and crack researcher Wheeler is a Gates expert. While only 3 months ago, in this clip, he mistook a 50 year Bill Gates with this near college age actor conveniently just out of range of the camera, supposedly briefing the CIA of his diabolical plot to gene edit all carriers of the gene that predisposes people toward religious belief, and wipe them from the face of the earth! and actually posted it here! This Gates plot against religion has become Wheeler's obsession as of late, further fueled by Hannity and Trump's assertion that fewer people are saying the word "Christmas" now during the Holidays! You can't make this stuff up, but actually they do knowing there are Wheelers out there who will snatch it and quickly bring it to us to seek praise, much as a cat may bring a dead bird to his masters to show it's prowess! heh heh
  24. How a 17 year old kid with a long gun kills 2 people and the cops let him go home! He lies to them that he works nearby, so they do talk with him. But no one asks him his age? Did they even hint to the kid that he just might be in trouble? Of course if they did, they would be responsible if he ended up fleeing. Even in a situation of life and death self defense. They do detain the shooters! They get ID, get their account of the incident.
