  1. There's no doubt these Senate subcommittee hearings can often be a grandstanding free for all, for whatever side R or D. In the case of Barr, the Democrats have been waiting for a long time for a chance to poke at Barr, and they got it! I'm against this Democratic quota system by which Biden has boxed himself in to pick a black woman for VP. IMO Neither "black" nor "woman" should enter into this. But these candidates are old. I would say "young" is good. Eric Swawell looks like the "most likely to succeed" high school fullback. He was formerly a prosecuting attorney before becoming a House representative from from the Oakland voting district. He looks are so Republican , (good crossover appeal) until he opens his mouth. But sure enough, it all came together when I found out his family came out to California from Iowa! He ran for President, his big statement in the debates was asking Biden, Sander and Warren if it was time for the old people to step aside. But it seems to me , he would be an excellent VP choice. As I say, both these candidates aren't spring chickens, but neither is Mike Pence.OK, anyway, I know its not going to happen. But here he is, looking not quite so youthful, in fact the lighting makes him look a little more weasely. a look I haven't seen before, but again more Republican crossover appeal! heh heh. He goes after Barr about the pardoning of Roger Stone and doesn't let up. Barr is clearly unsettled. Ok, maybe not as much crossover appeal. But Jayapal does a great job, pointing out Barr's condoning the clearing out of Lafayette square of peaceful protestors for the Trump photo op, but did nothing when anti stay home protestors in Michigan came down to the state capital with guns, confederate flags, and swastikas, and threatened the life of the Michigan governor. Barr in both in Jayapal's and Swawell's case, pleads he was completely uninformed about Roger Stone and Trump's tweets and of the incident of anti stay home protestors in Michigan. How good can that possibly look? Hey Ron, About this Trump relationship the hydroxychloriquine Queen. I'm reminded of a lyric from your era R&R. "My friend, the witch doctor she told me what to say!" Now, another Republican, Texas strongman, Larry Gomer(t) contracted the corona virus. He blames it on wearing a mask!!!! He also was in close conference with William Barr yesterday. Both were unmasked. Make that 2 Texas titans, now a Congressmen named Hunt tested positive for covid.
  2. Joe said: However, the subject matter is still too frightening to even contemplate for 95% of the world's population imo. The pandemic situation alone has the entire world's population gripped with fear and anxiety beyond any single threatening event in their lifetimes. To take on this possible ET presence revealing news on top of the pandemic threat is all just too much to deal with. That indicates a lot of fear . But you're just making an assumption for the 95%, but not you? Ok, Obviously we can only conjecture. We don't know to what degree the information is. Are aliens here? For what reason. What is their plan? Will they talk to us? That all matters. Maybe Doug can pierce the veil, take away some suspence, and weigh in on that. If they were going to destroy us, why haven't they? But barring the worst. I think you're percentages are pretty high. I never hear it considered that a lot of people would welcome them.
  3. Joe, Perhaps your fears, were always what the people in charge thought of the masses, so they withheld the information. I say bring it on while more of us are safe at home! heh heh
  4. The forum sort of jumped to judgment on that, even though we were offered no more information other than Pederson and the intruder had similar foreheads. It was another sort of "too easy" conclusion like George Bush in Dealey Plaza after the assassination!
  5. Welcome back William! I had a local problem with atv's near my house. The biggest problems involved kids maybe 10-14, in the off season pulling wheelies along hiking paths in the mud . and creating big ruts where the footing became very difficult. Nice picture. It's funny, upon booting up today, I was greeted with a beautiful picture of Maroon Bells, which i had never heard of is 100 miles from Denver. For my curiosity, when you say it got cold at 10,000 feet in later July. How cold is that? ( I have a fascination with those things. I have a round figure I'm thinking of. 5 or 0's!)
  6. An update to my last post. Republican candidate for President, 74 year old Herman Cain, contracted the covid virus at the Trump Tulsa event and has been in the hospital for 25 days getting oxygen. -13 Florida Marlins have tested positive for covid 19. There's goes baseball?
  7. For the last few years, I've seen plenty of USPS delivery on Sundays. I was told that it is exclusively for Amazon. Trump is right to rail on that. Though I believe I didn't see trucks on Sunday say in 2015. Since Wheeler's case is almost exclusively about Amazon, I think all of us probably agree, I'd sock it to them retroactively for the fleecing of us they've done, and Biden seems determined to go after them, and he'll probably get Republican support. I have noticed a slowdown of mail lately. As far 5.2 billion to modernize. That's peanuts in a multi trillion dollar bailout. People have long taken for granted the Post Office. I can tell you they are more efficient than any mail system by far in any country South of the U.S.in this hemisphere, where letters routinely get lost, and take months to get to in- country locations, much less international mail. And somehow people have profound problems with international mail with private carriers! As for the privatization promises of say, less bulk mail, well, I've heard those promises before, and the vast majority of times, it never happens or it's not worth the price. They could outlaw junk mail,, but we've seen how little progress has been made over the years in outlawing junk phone calls. As for Amazon they will just pass the cost on to us, and that's the way it works.
  8. Yeah last laugh, It's just that COVID denial that has brought Trump to his knees, now he's even relentlessly trying to court ME! Him and those little nerds at Epoch Times, who want to be the Mac Donald's of the "new"conspiracy movement. It's no surprise Wheeler's hooked on them. That's what a maskless, fast food drive in diet will due to you. hehe heh ohhhhhh wa hah hah ha hah, ho! bo ken! Simple hygiene has been quite a stretch for Trump and his Republicans. It seems you hear about 10 Republicans politician. catching covid to every Democrat. The demonstrators in Minneapolis who were overwhelmingly wearing masks, because they are more conscious of their health and possibly spreading the virus have very dutifully checked in with health officials. The results are rather astounding, the covid virus spread was at under a 1% rate among them! Contrast that to the Trump Tulsa crowd, Thank God there wasn't the million people coming that Trump had predicted, because there's been a covid spike in Tulsa. At the rally we have no less than the Republican GOVERNOR of Oklahoma contracting the virus. And flash from the past, the one Republican black candidate who came closest to being the Republican Presidential nominee than any other black man in history. No it isn't Ben Carson. It's Herman Cain, who for one week, during the 2012 presidential campaign, lead the Republican pack , after Michelle Baughman had her week! Herman Cain contracted the virus., which is serious because he's not a young man. We know now you can't place any faith in herd immunity. Those who refuse to modify their behavior are just throwing up the white flag of surrender. Certain behavior works. Other countries with more science based ethics, and self discipline, not as lazy, nor as prone to wacko theories, have licked it. If Trump hasn't sparked any late stage conversion by now There is little incentive to his followers 'to join other's in a spirit of cooperation. About the only enticement I can now give the abandoned Trump know nothings is, when do you want your sports back, dummy?! For those of us who can walk and chew gum at the same time, and love sports and respect science , we're asking you, when are you going to wake up and get your sh-t together? Do it now, before the election, while life is still worth living.(at least for yourself, we know no one else matters)
  9. Exactly Ron, I assume it was another feeble attempt to annoy, with the recent talk of racial stereotypes in "Gone with the wind". hoping someone here would be so PC as to be offended.
  10. For those who think Bill Gates is the head of a gigantic coronavirus "plandemic". I remember a few months ago Wheeler trying to pass off a film, with a near child actor as Gates at a camera distance that those who have lived in a cave, and have never seen Gates may mistake as Gates. In the film, Gates was in a classroom saying that he had isolated the human gene that predisposes people toward religion, and proposed a method to effectively suppress that gene from future generations. That's the level we're dealing with. Here is Gates response specifically to all the conspiracy theories going on about him. Make up your own mind. https://www.cnn.com/videos/us/2020/07/24/bill-gates-conspiracy-theories-coronavirus-social-media-town-hall-vpx.cnn Hey Cliff , I found this last night. a 9 way composite video of the cast of "Succession". Not recommended for those who haven't seen it as it does highlight important scenes of the first seasons. https://youtu.be/g7xYYPaRh3Y?t=124
  11. Paul said:Where are the cameras, the coverage? Media outlets will cover a hurricane 24/7 but in this grave national moment they are absent. Keep in mind Paul what you see as lack of coverage, the opposition probably sees as under reporting. There are probably 2 things that will bring on direct coverage.1) Police or Trump paramilitary police directly confronting peaceful protestors or 2) live film coverage of acts of protestor violence and vandalism. You don't really think police, say confronting mothers is going to work for Trump's popularity? Paul said: But no court order is going to stop fascism. No electoral victory will remove Trump. We will soon be praying for US military intervention. That's pretty extreme Paul, I'm not sure the facts on the ground warrant that. What I see at the present moment: A week ago I would have expected the Trump paramilitary to have swooped into many cities, but Trump has sort have backed off a little on his rhetoric saying that his paramilitary is open to working with local law enforcement. The public at large sees Trump as playing out his last cards, which are "law and order" cards. The fact that the state government officials are protesting does carry weight. People see that after 5 months, Trump finally threw in the towel about wearing masks , why did he do it? Because he realizes if he has any hope of being re elected he has to.. Now people like Wheeler who were praying resistance to mask wearing would be the issue upon whether the nation goes to civil war, find their Supreme Leader has now abandoned them. But this situation could change on a dime. If a handful of people get rowdy. It could bring on a white backlash like the Chicago riots brought on Nixon. But certainly the greater the vandalism and destruction was in the past. What could worry me is older cities without a good safety net where people riot because they no longer have jobs and need to eat.
  12. Wheeler about the Fascist police action in Portland: "Maybe he just likes to watch adults lay on the floor and pound their fists like a 3 year old screaming why? why? why? I know that's why I keep coming back here". Jim's response is to be greatly impressed with Wheeler. Jim's reaction :To re introduce Wheeler as "Bob" to Paul. Jim said:Paul I hope you understand that "Bob" likes Trump and he think his policies are fine. I mean he works on Wall Street right? I can understand that. Yeah Come on, Paul, Wheeler's obstinacy, and desire to annoy others , with an angry intention to try to shock, is really kind of refreshing, right,? Doesn't he invoke fond memories of Tommy G? except more overt. And loving those police actions against those Portland "power elites" is just "Bob" being "Bob", Because he's anti power elite, right Jim? besides he's from Wall Street!!, Bwa- ha- ha
  13. Thanks Sandy, I heard the refuting of the phone call by someone with authority, here maybe 4-5 years ago?here in the forum. .There was no dispute about LBJ phoning and no dispute that Crenshaw was the Doctor who took the call, though I also heard people refute that he was in the operating room, but it was confirmed he was. It's the content of the call, which nobody knows but Crenshaw. It's a little hazy, for me, but the story someone here said , was that Crenshaw accounts first made the phone call much more damning of LBJ. I believe, according to Crenshaw, LBJ expressed a desire that they say they receive a death bed confession from Oswald and the he dies, but as I say it's hazy.. He then was persuaded that that information would be too damning of LBJ,and told he should give the watered down version. Which of course, is another attempted assault on Crenshaw's credibility. I've been scouring old posts here in the archives, but most of them just refer to his account of the head wounds. I'll look further and see if I can find who said it.As far as I'm concerned, I'd like Crenshaw to be completely credible. The greater point I was trying to make is that there's a myth that the MSM for years has to been too threatened to air such a story disputing the WC. Though I would agree, for 20 years there was a successful blackout of research into the JFKA that contradicted the WC.But I think at that point in time after Stone's JFK, and ARRB, in this case ABC, was motivated by money and ratings, and decided that there was enough popular "buzz" that they would air it.
  14. That's because I've learned from the best and most nuanced of them all, Jeff,. Your foreign policy trailblazer! heh heh!
  15. Yeah Jeff, and he also murdered Solemani, and HC never would put the Iran peace initiative in jeopardy. Is he to be congratulated just because he got away with it? He's the most pro Israel of any president in years. Backed Saudi Arabia in Yemen. It's nice that the author invoked Douglas and JFK's foreign policy, but he doesn't make any real case other than a reshuffling of priorities and some of that is an institutional pullback that could be needed but if it substitutes favoring strong men and dictators Erdouan, Putin, Kim Jong un,, Duarte, Bolenario,Xi and his concentration camps, It's hardly an improvement. I wouldn't go into complete subservience at the simple mention of JFK, like you. Because at the same time, he acknowledges this. . "At the same time, Trump believes that the post-hegemonic USA ought to be to a dominant regional power in complete control of Latin America and the Caribbean, its historic backyard. Accordingly, he pursues a policy of regime change with respect to the nations that challenge U.S. neocolonial domination and imperialist interests in the region. His policy has included an unconventional war against Venezuela, including financial, commercial, political, and military dimensions, seeking to overthrow the constitutional government of Nicolás Maduro; the intensification of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade against Cuba; and a destabilization campaign against the Sandinista government in Nicaragua. In addition, the Trump Administration supported a violent coup d’état against the constitutionally-elected president Evo Morales in Bolivia; and it has supported the government of Lenin Moreno, who through a Trojan Horse strategy, has removed from power the Citizen Revolution led by Rafael Correa." You're been pretty easy to please, for 3 years, Jeff. But maybe it's just Trump's magnetism is so reminiscent of JFK. Right?
  16. L.A. Times says: "Huntington Beach a symbol of mask resistance as doubters abound" “We found out that it’s not really a shortage, people just kinda think they suck,” Yeah, killer dude! Huntington Beach a symbol of mask resistance as doubters abound https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2020-07-22/doubts-about-dangers-of-covid-19-linger-in-huntington-beach
  17. I hear you Paul, but both Fareed and John Oliver were born after the JFKA assassination ,and out of the U.S, probably not the most ideal upbringing to learn about a JFK conspiracy. Marianne Williamson Robert, pretty cool! What I really agree with her about in her campaign was she says Americans should take more responsibility for their health. I don't assume she's talking about people who find themselves with a chronic condition, but just that Americans should take better care of themselves. Yes Al Gore, isn't it interesting that it hardly moved the needle back in the 90's, I hadn't even heard of it at the time, he certainly didn't campaign on it, where as now, it would be death knell. Trump wasn't very overtly conspiratorial in his campaign, but he got a pass on a lot of scrutiny about things he thought and said, because no one thought he was going to be a threat. In the 90's, things were different.. Which might have had something to do with Stones "JFK" and the ARRB. To give you an example, ABC news (total MSM)and Sylvia Chase did an episode of 20/20 with a segment on Dr.Charles Crenshaw who was present at both the operations of JFK and Oswald. He tells of JFK's entrance wound from the front and accounts 2 days later, while trying desperately to save Oswald's life getting a phone call from LBJ, directing the head surgeon to get a deathbed confession from LHO. Subsequent investigation said Crenshaw's account was fraudulent. So it wasn't that the MSM was doing everything to cover up a JFKA conspiracy if it had become popular and there was some money to be made by it.
  18. Paul, you've been living with this all your life. Why are you continually so surprised and lamenting? None of the ms news media has anyone who expresses a belief in the JFKAC. What about politicians?, No politicians have campaigned on reopening the JFKA. The reason is clear. As an issue, it's not in the top 40 with the Democrats and not in the top 100 of Republicans. You will get more people in the "TQ" of the LGBTQ to come out in the streets to protest than you will about the JFK assassination. The politicians realize it's a gain of 1%, at the possible "conspiracy" loss of 3-4%. We have a president who supposedly believes, though he's done nothing for the Kennedy conspiracy. But Trumps belief in conspiracies and some of these crazy groups that follow him and their plans of action are newsworthy. They're now a dime a dozen, like Wheeler, who for some reason picks us, rather than people closer to his beliefs because he says he likes to be generally obstinate to us to see our reaction. You may think he's worth mentioning, but IMO by and large, these groups are going to contaminate the JFKA Conspriracy movement and relegate it to the trashbin of history, as you are noting the broad brush already. Here's Don Jeffries who occasionally posts here asking Jim Di/forum favorite for President Tulsi Gabbard about her clutching, "JFK and the Unspeakable", and she responds she never got around to reading it. Hey Don, about a year ago. I got to a hotel late one night. After I got settled, I had this craving for something sweet so I went out to get a milkshake. And I heard the "All Night Flight" or whatever they call it, and you were the guest. You talked about many historical things, Lincoln , the Civil War. I haven't really looked into some of the things to have a viewpoint, but it was very interesting and entertaining! Keep it up!
  19. Nice post Denny! This doesn't surprise me at all. He's thoroughly conventional in many senses. A bit stubborn and dogmatic. However whether someone believed or didn't believe in the JFKA conspiracy would not be a reason I didn't watch his show. Unless he was obsessed with it. I haven't kept up with the show since I cut my satellite TV last year . What I thought was very unique for a comedy show was that he'd focus on one subject, say health care, the insurance companies, the phone carriers, the FCC and sometimes rather consumer oriented topics and do a full half hour expose that was funny, entertaining, and enlightening. Having said that, I found myself loving the writing in a show , and not particularly liking the talent of the show as I think his sort run on ranting style gets tiring and sometimes the jewel at the end just wasn't near worth the rant. I agree with Cliff, "Succession" is the best show I know of on TV, and I'm going to try to finagle a way to watch it when the new season comes.
  20. Jim said:I hope you understand that Bob likes Trump and he think his policies are fine. I mean he works on Wall Street right? I can understand that. I probably don't believe that anymore than he has me on "ignore". He's wall street, but he's anti the power elite?? Figure that out. And he boasts of civil war, do you believe him on that too? He's also said that Trump is anti Wall Street, did you know that? He was sucked into the idea that Trump was so nouveau riche, he was like Jed Clampett, but in reality Wall Street has never seen such a perfect storm business climate in our lifetime. It doesn't add up. He thinks that men like Kissinger, the Bush family, the late John McCain, the Brits through Chris Steele, and other inhabitants of the "Deep State " Wow, all those heavyweights with Christopher Steele?, yes that's the lure. The "Deep State" which could never include Wall Street. because they're cool? , right Jim? Which, if so, makes it more inexplicable why Trump ever hired Bolton. Yes, you find that so inexplicable? It's because "Bob" has no clue what he's talking about.
  21. I'm going to try to say some things Cliff hasn't said. But you didn't know that Biden has been out fundraising Trump as of late? The crime bill is so long ago and so in the weeds. So law and order Trump's going to outflank Biden? So, like Wheeler, you think he needs help with blacks? Even if Biden picks a black running mate? Voting Green is so important for you to say, but I remember before the primary and well into bernie Sanders campaign, you said you were going to vote for Hillary. Jim said:If I was advising Biden, which I have no intention of doing, even if i was asked to do so (well if they offered me seven figures, maybe), Are you serious, advising Biden? In your dreams! Why would anybody hire you in anything political? From what I've seen , you have no real instincts except to continually worry and never take action. You've been raising the white flag with Trump for 3 years. unable to move, to even identify what was the problem with Trump. You had one foreign policy issue, good relations with Putin and Russia, and Trump filled the bill. We all know the impeachment wasn't going to get anywhere, but you chose to protect him from the "Deep State". What Democrat would hire you? And now what a mess, 200,000 deaths is a certainty, and you don't think the public sees that as a huge liability? Trump's Presidency will come down to how he handled the biggest crisis he faced, and that's coronavirus pandemic. I don't see Biden winning by 11 points, but I'm not that worried. As far as Biden's senility, they're both senile. Both of them could have different kinds of meltdowns. So as advisor, you'd say, keep Biden in the basement. Again do you have any ideas except waving the white flag and retreat? I don't see that working too long. That will catch up with him. What do you think about making debates conditional on either Trump releasing his taxes since his Presidency, or having a fact checking section at the end of the debate?
  22. Yeah good prediction Cliff, this guy wasn't so bad either. Wheeler's Daily Morning Trump Affirmations
  23. Wheeler just got his marching orders from Trump. (below) Trump said today he won't necessarily accept the election results, Wheeler actually said this before. I pointed out to him, Trump's only improvement over Romney is because he wasn't running against the black candidate, Barack Obama. Gaining at all with blacks is a popular vote thing anyway. It doesn't help with electoral politics. Wheeler says his classiest neighbors are stocking up on guns. And apparently, he's so unhappy with his life, it's worth it to turn his neighborhood and his family?(can you imagine that?) into Fallujah, New Joisey! I could definitely see Wheeler being very a desperate person, but it's all just the usual BS. He'd never have the courage to be involved, because if he did, why would he be spending all his time talking with us? https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2020/07/trump-refuses-commit-accepting-november-election-results-200719154519746.html
  24. Joe, I didn't see your most recent post and was merely answering your first post. I'm glad you see where she does have some good grounds for resentment. Yes we are NoCal buds!😀
  25. Joe said: Kirk, most every negative thing Ruth says about Oswald that I list are documented quotes from her alone. No, you show no documented quotes, you just keep offering your same opinions over and over again. Joe said: There are so many, because she said so many! She said so many because she's most interviewed person in the assassination. She was asked direct questions. I know you've said you saw TMWKK. Do you recall her making such conclusions there? She said what was unusual about Lee was that he was so normal, loved watch football Etc.. She fell in perfectly with Nigel Turners story line of "Oswald the Patsy". She wasn't so eager to get the word out about Oswald that a little money couldn't cure it. Ok, sorry I thought one time I heard you say you were also Catholic. Kirk said:If I gave temporary shelter or help out a couple where the husband a was generally a pain in the ass who ends up killing a popular President of the United States and leader of the Free World that I liked, leaving me forever a sorry footnote of history. I wouldn't feel favorable toward Lee. I'd be glad when I heard Oswald died too. Do you see at all what I'm saying here? You're certainly not above disdain, you write a lot of disdain, just like in these examples. ("hate" 5 times , hostility 2 times, sorry!) If you were up a couple of nights thinking about how much this guy has transformed your life, and did the unthinkable, and let's for the conspiracy theory sake, which you subscribe to, Ruth could be trying to put some things together and thinking about the tightrope she's going to have to walk in the coming weeks and months. And you're telling me, you wouldn't resent Oswald? Of course you would, probably even more so.
