  1. If I recall correctly, January 20th is the date to which Trump deferred the final release of JFK documents.  It was remarkable because Trump used the words “I have no choice” when characterizing that decision.

I’m not sure but I might have sold my soul and had his back If I knew he would have released the records. In one sub domain of my life I feel that is the most important thing for this country, or, if you will, the country that existed prior to The Coup of 63.

It is exhausting, and I think it might be the second time I’ve gone through this entire thread, with it’s endless quotes of long posts. But I did so because I needed reminding of some connections. Mr. Scully sure did some deep research into family connections by looking at Wedding Registries.
too many Barons eh? Always struck by Baron Werner Von Alvensleben having the long scar on his left cheek and being very tall. Both descriptors apply to Otto Skorzeny as well. And I’ve wondered what the real connections were for Baron DeMohrenschilt. It strikes me as likely that he was an Abwehr agent during WW2. The FBI wondered if he was. So Harold Byrd was in Safariland with Alvensleben, who ran the safaris, and then that Baron and his wife visited Dallas a short time after the assassination. Officially that Baron wasn’t a poopoo, was in fact wanted by the Nazis. I’m not sure I believe his official bio. I’m more inclined to think that both Barons were part of the Skorzeny post war network.
gee - who thought of substituting poopoo for poopoo?
so Nazis is fine but not the singular form?

    Revolt of the Barons?

Robert Harper once actually offered to help fund a trip to Dallas for me!

I declined of course believing such money would be better spent on others more in need than I.

However, I will always remember RH and that incredible and rare offer and his generosity.

Didn't know RH as deathly ill or of his passing.

Am thanking him again in spirit and thoughts.

He was a kind and liberal minded person. I think he was well involved in the theater or movie business?

Yes Joe, He was a playwright and actor. I had forgotten agouti his effort to crowd fund a trip,to Dallas for you. That was remarkably nice of him.

How can we participate? You must be curious what is in Robert’s library. He was an intelligent poster here, and has been and will be missed.

Yes, Paul. I am very curious, and I appreciated his participation here as well. He is missed, and I was quite saddened to hear, from him, as I was corresponding with him, that he was dying. Thank you very much for your donation. It is encouraging.

  5. Forum Member @Robert Harperhas passed away. I enjoyed some correspondence with him.

Some of you may remember @Robert Harper . I have learned that he has passed away. His widow contacted me and informed of his death. She also informed me that he left his JFK library to me. I am quite touched by that gesture and would like to take possession of it. He resided in The Netherlands and that is where the library is. I am told it would cost around 2000 Euros to ship and I can’t put that kind of money up for a library which I know nothing about. I have setup a GoFundMe page to help defray the cost of shipping to the U.S.

Here is a link to the GoFundMe page: Here is a link to the GoFundMe page: https://www.gofundme.com/f/harper-library?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1&fbclid=IwAR0B6M0be0fwy2KxZLaC9ZTnOoaWzypo_5J9p3EmRpDT82GJ96f8gBxB_VE

Mr. LIEBELER - How much time do you think passed from the time the first shot was fired untill the second shot was fired, can you make any estimate about that?
Mr. HUDSON - Oh, probably 2 minutes.
Mr. LIEBELER - As much as 2 minutes?
Mr. HUDSON - It might not have been that long.

I think that or they were knifed and removed. We’d only be speculating but, they bled a fair bit.

The testimony of the only one of the three men on the stairs that was identified is enlightening in this regard. I belive he was the Dealy Plaza groundskeeper. His recollection on the time lapse prior to the last shot.... heard, is remarkable.

...the conspiracy is blown before its even happened. Perhaps someone turned up as the car turned onto Elm, it's easier to remove that person than explain the rest of it. ...

That’s the crux of it; the conversion of a conspiracy into a lone nut story. A false flag assassination plan, leading to an invasion of Cuba was shelved. It can be pulled from the shelf if needed, but Kennedy was dead, mobsters got double-crossed, Guantanamo would not have to be negotiated, and no Spanish-speaking, Catholic people would be competing with US agricultural, tourist, or natural resource interests.

Is there any possibility someone saw something at an inopportune moment, given the proximity to the location of a potential shooter and that they fell foul of something just before the president was shot.

Two of the three men who ran up the stairs when the headshot came we’re never identified or interviewed AFAIK.

Seems from his alleged actions in the Marines, our government would've wanted him court-martialed upon returning from Russia...and he had the testicular fortitude to ask that his dishonorable discharge be reversed after causing "thousands of man hours" be expended to change radar codes and call signs for the entire West Coast and Japan. Also alleged by John Donovan, his former Supervisor, was that Oswald got drunk and cursed an Officer, would bait and try to make Officers look stupid, and also dated the same airline stewardess that Donovan had?

We’re seeing the amalgam of the DPD Oswald and the barbershop Oswald.

Somehow, I just can't reconcile the smiling, happy person in the pictures below being the surly, uncommunicative, anti-social person encountered by Billy Joe Lord, and Oswald's foreman in the Minsk factory. Something just doesn't feel right.

Likewise, the “dangle to attractive Japanese women” that Bill mentions in his opening post just doesn’t line-up, for me, with the Dallas Police Department LHO. I don’t think that Bill wanted an H&L debate here, (they pop-up everywhere and ruin the focus of many a thread), but Bill’s opening post reminded me of someone walking over glass or coals without getting cut or burned (by raising the H&L question).

    Cheers, Michael

I vote that an avatar exception be made for Lance. There are avatarless others who post here of whom we would lament the loss.

One additional thought which shall serve as an addendum to my new tradition of an annual post: When Bill Shelley revealed all to Elzie Glaze in 1974, he was then a lad of 48 and most assuredly still working at the TSBD.

Forty-eight strikes me as pretty much the prime of life for one of them there “CIA operatives.” I’ll bet he still had lots of juicy “counterespionage assignments” left in him, wouldn’t you agree?

Does it seem likely that someone who actually was a CIA operative and still working at Assassination Central (i.e., the TSBD) would have said “and then I went to work for the CIA” to a 21-year-old peewee “journalist”?

Do you think he cleared it with Langley?  “Sure, go ahead, Bill, at this point who cares?” With Truly, perhaps? “Well, Bill, I’d rather you didn’t, but go ahead if you must.”

Do you think Shelley would have said this to a 21-year-old peewee “journalist” and no one else? Do you think said peewee “journalist” would have simply sat on this bombshell for years?

How would the DPD have known that Shelley had revealed all to Glaze? Why would they have cared? If anyone were going to stand in the street pointing pistols at Glaze's window, I might have expected it to be the CIA (although the scenario does sound "just a bit" amateurish for either the DPD or the CIA).

Does the Wheaton piece actually make sense to you? Oh, it does?

BTW, Shelley’s supposed statement that he was an “intelligence officer during the war” was clearly wrong. I find it rather disconcerting that he would get this critical fact about his own life wrong, but perhaps you don’t. I suppose one could confuse being "an intelligence officer during the war" with "being a high school Junior ROTC cadet in Dallas" if one were COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY DELUSIONAL. I find it rather more likely that Glaze didn't carefully think through the whoppers he was inventing.

Jim D. regards this all as an “interesting lead,” and I feel sure you agree. How does Shelley tie into Harvey and Lee - is anyone working on that?

Only in Conspiracy World, baby, only in Conspiracy World.

An annual reach for the peanut jar? Good luck with that, Lance.
