  1. I have wondered how and why so large a chunk of JFK's government ended-up in an airplane over the Pacific and then in Hawaii, in transit beck to the contiguous states on 11-22. I have asked myself if JFK set that up himself. If he did, did he do that so the cabinet would have an opportunity to carry the torch of the democratically elected administration if he were killed? If the conspirators made that happen, did they do it to sequester or eliminate them in case things got out of control? Has anyone asked these questions and come to any conclusions?
  2. I was looking for some comments that I recall Prouty having made regarding the new kind of soldier, the covert soldier of intelligence. He made the point as to how different those men were from fighting soldiers of "hot" wars. I did not find that in this video. To be sure, I recently restored the Youtube link after I had found that it had been broken. I am not sure that it is the same video, or of the same length.
  3. I added notes in the first post for the Fletcher Prouty Video that opens and is the subject of this thread. Times are approximate. Sorry for the typos.
  4. Paul, where, in the above statement, do Caufield’s statements end and where does your speculation begin? You have a bad habit of conflating what you say a researcher claims with your own speculation.
  5. A related thread. I also agree with Mike Rago that Zapruder is important to the case, beyond the tale that he filmed the assassination via dumb luck. Another related thread. I regard Mr Hester’s death as suspicious. If Lee bowers saw anything, then Hester saw something.
  6. I think there is room for some “Young Turks” here, as well, who may not have been demonstrably in full possession of all the above mentioned qualities. I am here thinking of YAF members and founders, for example. Fletcher Prouty aptly described the generation of cold warriors who were coming of age at the time. These were guys that were fully embroiled in the Cold battle of the Cold War and were not shaken or shocked by the reality and ugliness of men killing each other in foxholes and on ships. His description of these men is a very important one. I can’t, right now, post the video and point to the place where that description occurs.
  7. If James McCord was in charge of the infiltration of the FPCC (as stated above) that puts Oswald right under McCord’s responsibility. I think Watergate was all about scaring the crap out of Nixon; trying to get him to follow through on a promised Cuban “liberation”.
  8. I think the assassination very well may have been planned at Buckley’s Sharon, Connecticut home. I want to add Liddy in there as well, but I would not want to get Jim all riled-up.
  9. In 1951, along with many other Ivy League alumni, Buckley was recruited into the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA); he served for two years including one year in Mexico City working on political action for E. Howard Hunt,[23] who was later jailed for his part in The Watergate affair. These two officers remained lifelong friends.[
  10. William F Buckley Jr. James McCord Jr. Buckley.... 1951, along with many other Ivy League alumni, Buckley was recruited into the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA); he served for two years including one year in Mexico City working on political action for E. Howard Hunt,[23] who was later jailed for his part in The Watergate affair. These two officers remained lifelong friends.[ McCord.... After beginning his career at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, McCord worked for the Central Intelligence Agency, ultimately ascending to a GS-15position in the Agency's Office of Security.[7]For a period of time, he was in charge of physical security at the Agency's Langley headquarters.[8] According to Russ Baker, then-Director of Central Intelligence Allen Dullesonce introduced McCord to an Air Force colonel as "the best man we have".[9] In 1961, and under his direction, a counter-intelligence program was launched against the Fair Play for Cuba Committee.[10]
  11. A very interesting post. Could Baldwin have met with Liddy, McCord William F. Buckley, and possibly Hunt in NY or at the Buckley estate in Connecticut? Could Baldwin have been recruited by Liddy or Hunt in the summer of 1963?
  12. David, it's a simple question... DVP? Do you really think that Ruby acted spontaneously, out of sorrow for the Kennedy family?

  14. Thanks Tommy, this is very kind of you. I don't have a second Facebook identify which I could use for connections that are other than family and close friends, but I should consider creating one. Cheers, Michael
  15. I meant to edit this in above. Sorry for the bump.
  16. Reporter: "Chief, can you tell us what you know now about the man you now have in custody?" Chief: "Personally I don't know anything about him. I merely know his name". Chief, the reporter didn't ask you if you knew him, "personally". The body language tells me he is not being truthful.
  17. Reply to DVP, above. There are some things that women do well, and “get”, that men do not; and vice versa. Women do not do cardinal points well. I think that has something to do with it. There also may be some confusion with the directions they were facing as opposed to where they were positioned, using cardinal points, in relation to objects, streets and structures.
  18. And it's time for the Saturday night forum bump flood of Tommy's favorite TSBd characters and KGB cronies!
