Cliff Varnell
Bonus points for those who listed The Invaders in their Top Ten...what a great little show that was! Anyone ever get a good look at Lamson's pinkie? I'd definitely have The Invaders in my Top Fifteen, along with aforementioned Star Trek and Rawhide, and two shows no one has mentioned yet: Dragnet Hogan's Heroes Hogan's heroes...sounds like the better precincts of the Ed Forum! Robert Newell
I know this is about drama's and sit coms but The Ed Sullivan show was a must every Sunday. The man from U.N.C.L.E. Batman The Prisoner Ironside(come on Tiny Tim and Wally Cox in the pilot) Green acres Beverly Hillbillys (I admit it) Dick Van Dyke Fractured Fairey Tales (does that count?) Combat Bat Masterson Three networks, Lousy reception and black and white--It was great!! Robert

Greg Burnham
How could I leave out Rocky & Bullwinkle? The first cartoon written for adults, but still enjoyed by kids. Actually, it was also a COLD WAR cartoon intended to indoctrinate children by introducing the "bad guys" in the form of characters, Boris Badenov and Natasha. They were obviously the cartoon faces of Communist KGB spies, complete with stereotypical Soviet spy clothing and thickly layed on Russian accents. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3QXBHYRhpw And then there was Get Smart depicting CONTROL as American (CIA) and CHAOS as Soviet (KGB). And people doubt the existence of project Mockingbird? What a laugh... Edited June 15, 2011 by Greg Burnham
David G.
