Guest
I have edited this post with a new post from my website, as several pix had done a runner. http://www.prayer-man.com/roger-craig-inside-robbery-homicide-on-nov-22/ Edited December 5, 2019 by Bart Kamp
Ian Lloyd
Nice one Bart. Looks like Day's holding a set of palmprints?
Guest
Thanks Ian, and that is detective Johnny Hicks. Next to Pete Barnes on the phone. And yes it shows a palm print. Well spotted. This is in the evening of the 22nd if I am correct. Edited April 22, 2018 by Bart Kamp
Ian Lloyd
Thanks for correcting me...I assumed it was Day but did have some doubt... Trying to recall when LHO's prints were taken...that's not to say those prints are from LHO, but...
Guest
According to Vince Palamara Charles Kunkel was still in D.C. and not in Dallas and only came into play when the SS was protecting Marina and Marguerite. Thanks for correcting me, but that person from the Cover up book by Gary Shaw still is not Roger Craig. Another person added whose ID is not known. From Gary Shaw's book Cover Up. The man Craig IDs as himself is in fact Secret Service Agent Charles Kunkel. Bart, Where did you get these pictures of Kunkel inside the Homicide and Robbery Bureau? The reason I ask is that back in 2008, I wrote an essay on the Secret Service in which I speculated that it was in fact, Charles Kunkel who was the Secret Service man who was present during Oswald's interrogation. Secret Service, On the Knoll and Beyond http://educationforum.ipbhost.com/topic/12084-secret-service-on-the-knoll-and-beyond/ January 21, 2008 JFK Online Seminars "There is strong evidence that there was a Secret Service Agent present during Oswald’s first interrogation at a time when no known Secret Service Agent was in the Police Headquarters. If that is the case, who could this person have been? Sims, Boyd, Fritz, Curry and Stevenson all testified, or wrote later, that a Secret Service man (who was not Sorrells) had been present during Oswald's interrogation. I believe that a better candidate for the alleged Secret Service Agent who participated in Oswald’s first interrogation beginning at 2:20PM is Charles E. Kunkel." I'd like to update that essay. Guest
First two pix are from Denis Morissette's website. Then the inside 317 shots are from Jim Murray at Black Star and the other shot with the group facng the cam with their backs besides him is from the Ft. Worth Star Telegam. Don Jeffries
So we can now add Roger Craig- the only Dallas law enforcement officer who was trying to do his job that day- to the list of discredited witnesses? All of whom, of course, just happen to buttress the case for conspiracy?
Joe Bauer
Just curious, do those here who now feel that the man in the photos above is certainly not Roger Craig believe this negatively effects Craig's credibility? Especially in regards to Craig's claim that he ( Craig ) was brought into Fritz's office while Fritz was interrogating Oswald and Craig's account of what was asked of Oswald and Oswald's responses to the specific questions Fritz supposedly asked as Craig mentions? Guest
I don't think/say anything BUT that Craig thought he saw himself in G. Shaw's book in the late 70's and made a mistake doing so. Edited April 23, 2018 by Bart Kamp
Ron Bulman
Craig identified himself in the top picture from Police Chief Jesse Curry's 1969 book The JFK Assassination File. https://www.amazon.com/Retired-Dallas-reveals-personal-assassination/dp/B0006CZR8M/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1524507575&sr=1-1&keywords=jesse+curry+the+assassination+file&dpID=51T%2BYS21eKL&preST=_SX218_BO1,204,203,200_QL40_&dpSrc=srch I don't know who P S Nichols is but he claimed Craig identified himself in a letter written to him. Ron Bulman
Supposedly Gary Mack examined the negatives of the "Beers" pictures and determined these were taken on Saturday, when Craig said he was at home. Scroll down about half way through this link and it's discussed there. https://jfkassassinationfiles.wordpress.com/2018/03/29/roger-craig/ Craig died 5/15/75. Cover Up came out in 1976. https://archive.org/details/CoverUp_201510 But I think Bart's right. That's not Craig. If the picture is taken Saturday could it then be the SS agent? I checked Curry's book and could not find it, even though I remembered reading about Craig pointing himself out w that book. Thanks for the info Ron. From what I know some pix of our mystery guy were taken on the 22nd (inside 317) and 23rd.

He's discussing a newsletter in both the link regarding Craig and the letter to Weisberg. He mentions the "review in this newsletter" of Curry's book in the first. Then "barely meeting the newsletter bills" in the second. Sounds like the guy is pretty linked in for the time. A newsletter that reviews Curry's book, selling Weisberg's books and they apparently had him out for a presentation, he's at least keeping up with Penn Jones work at the time, and, Craig writes him a letter. He mentions AID in relation to the newsletter. That makes me think of Ruth Paine's dad and the cia front Agency for International Development but I don't think he's talking about that AID. Addendum. I think this is him but it mentions nothing about a newsletter, JFK or AID. http://articles.latimes.com/1987-03-06/local/me-4769_1_san-diego-state-university Edited April 24, 2018 by Ron Bulman
