Victor Marchetti And worth reading for one other tidbit; in Marchetti's handwritten notes from 1978 about the memo incident, there is a small aside where he writes: "No further info on Oswald's supposed call to Short at Nags Head" My assumption is that this would possibly be related to Oswald's call from the Dallas jail to North Carolina on the night of 11/23/63. And recall that in later interviews when questioned about the possibility of Oswald's use by American intelligence that Marchetti claimed there was an ONI false defector program run out of Nags Head N.C.
