Tony Krome Posted February 16 Posted February 16 I have this topic over at Jacks along the same lines as Ron's Foreknowledge thread here. It appears at least one stripper knew that Oswald was going to be shot. https://jacks.forumotion.com/t36-the-red-head-and-the-cadillac
Joe Bauer Posted February 17 Posted February 17 (edited) I was curious about the Jada TI accident story years ago. Hard to speculate without knowing more details and corroborating testimony. Let us say Jada really was trying to "get out of town" that morning. And when the accident occurred she exhibited much nervous anxiety, not because she thought she seriously hurt this person she hit, but rather for some other reason. She reportedly told someone at the accident scene, "can't we get this over with?" and that she had to go to New Orleans. If those two actions were true I wonder why she was leaving Dallas and the Carousel Club on a Friday morning. Was her professional relationship with Jack Ruby over with on that day? Was she no longer stripping at the Carousel Club? If she was still stripping at the Carousel...you would think that Friday night would be the main night to showcase their feature stripper. So, if her Carousel Club employment gig was over, perhaps going back to New Orleans that day was no big deal? She was stripping in New Orleans right up until she came to Dallas and started working for Jack Ruby. Maybe she was going back there to start over? If Jada actually heard something about the JFKA ahead of time however...the story of her frantic flight out of Dallas that morning takes on a monumentally important and suspicious truth shaking turn. Ruby and Jada clashed. Things became very volatile between them at one point. One story was that Jack Ruby made an implied threat to Jada during one of their heated arguments. To which Jada reportedly fired back at Jack that if he tried anything, she had friends that would put him up on a meat hook. I can believe Jada knew some very serious Mafia figures in her employment in New Orleans especially. She was the hottest strip tease girl there for quite awhile. That was Marcello country. Mobsters loved strippers back then. Candy Barr became Mikey Cohen's girl in LA for years. Candy Barr was one of the most famous of strippers in her day. But, imo, Jada was the most physically beautiful stripper of them all. More attractive than Candy Barr. Edited February 17 by Joe Bauer

Joe, yes, that's the riddle. If Jada was urgently on her way to NO on Friday, the plan changed and she left late Sunday morning. If you read near the end of the topic, I calculate Jada left Dallas minutes after Oswald was shot. So there maybe something in what you say.
Greg Doudna Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Interesting Tony. Ruby at Parkland on Nov 22 (Seth Kantor)--why was he there? What do you want to bet it was because he had foreknowledge Oswald could be arriving to the hospital shortly, having been shot but might still be living? (Except Oswald eluded that fate at Dealey Plaza?) Then as you bring out in your discussion on your forum, after Jada almost ran over a man with her Cadillac the morning of Nov 22, Jada called another man who showed up in another Cadillac who was "large, dark, and heavy set" who may have been named "Nick". And then your find of the Jan 1, 1964 El Paso Herald-Post article quoting Jada as saying she was at Parkland at the time the presidential limousine arrived with Kennedy and Connally (https://jacks.forumotion.com/t36-the-red-head-and-the-cadillac), perhaps in the company of the big bruiser of a man with her that morning. Jada doesn't say why she went to Parkland. And then what an interesting document you note, the Nov 24, 1963 FBI report in which Jada is reported by a gas station attendant in Hawkins, Texas (a few miles down the road from where I later lived in Big Sandy), on Sunday Nov 24, in that gas station making phone calls "concerning shooting of Oswald by Rubenstein" and "talked considerably about this shooting" and "remarked she knew the 'SOB' was going to shoot him" (https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=56987#relPageId=2). The thoroughly mobbed-up Jada knew Ruby was going to shoot Oswald? What was that about? What would have caused Jada to think that? And on Jada's "large, dark, and heavy set" man driving a Cadillac who may have been named "Nick", compare possibly the figure named "Nick" in the Odell Estes story, who showed up at the Carousel Club at about the same time of Jada's arrival there in the summer of 1963 (https://educationforum.ipbhost.com/topic/29006-decipherment-of-the-james-odell-estes-story-carousel-club-july-aug-1963/). "Nick" was described by Odell Estes as age 30s-40s, 6'2", 200-plus lbs, big man, moustache, black hair cut short, and drove a maroon Cadillac with Louisiana plates. However, the witness who saw Jada's Nov 22 possibly-named "Nick" had him in a green Cadillac whereas Odell Estes remembering some years later had his "Nick" in a maroon Cadillac. Maybe Estes was mistaken in his memory of the color years later, and this was the same Nick. Hard to know for sure, but could be.
Tony Krome Posted February 17 Author Posted February 17 29 minutes ago, Greg Doudna said: And on Jada's "large, dark, and heavy set" man driving a Cadillac who may have been named "Nick", Greg, apparently "Nick" had a surname that sounded like an Italian name, but the witness could not recall. But there was a guy there at the accident scene who later asked a guy named Landry who said he knew "Nick". Said he was going around town telling people he was a pro football player from some "Small Eastern School", and that he doubted such a school would produce a pro player, in other words he was talking himself up. Identifying the driver of the green caddy may be the key to unravelling this one.
Tony Krome Posted February 17 Author Posted February 17 (edited) Greg, see last few posts on the thread, there's a plot twist. Just around the corner from the accident scene, on Wednesday, there was a party with Vito Genovese's nephew, Ruby, Jada and her boyfriend who lived there, and who I now believe was the "Nick" character. And Purvis has been caught out, it wasn't Walsh who informed the FBI after the accident, it was Purvis himself! Edited February 17 by Tony Krome
David Andrews Posted February 17 Posted February 17 (edited) I'm thinking that driving a car accident victim to a hospital was, by law or custom, a Texas form of due diligence meant to ward off Hit-and-Run charges if no policeman was summoned. Imagine thousands of miles of unpoliced, rural Texas highway - you'd be expected to take someone you hit out there to a hospital. "Nick" would have been a stand-in for Jada at the hospital, and a witness that the driver saw after the victim's welfare. He might have slipped the vic a couple twenties on the way. Joe Bauer Posted February 17 Posted February 17 (edited) Wonder what top mobsters Jada was close to in New Orleans? Maybe even Carlos Marcello himself? Surely with her hyper sexual movie star beauty looks ( seriously Marilyn Monroe level imo ) she attracted men from the top tier of power and wealth. Edited February 18 by Joe Bauer
