True to form, we have the usual far-left folks in this forum claiming that the "MAGA" Supreme Court's recent decision on presidential immunity makes the president a "dictator" and puts democracy in "chains." I wonder how many of these folks have actually bothered to read the decision itself (LINK). If they would bother to read the decision, they would discover that their claims about it are a mix of exaggeration and outright fabrication. I would especially recommend Justice Barrett's concurring-in-part opinion. I would also recommend reading the oral arguments that were made to the court (LINK). The "4th Reich"??? Really? That's just nutty and ridiculous. It's the kind of partisan poison that is causing so much division in our country. I'm not voting for Trump, but I think it's worth nothing that Trump didn't weaponize the justice system against his enemies. The Democrats did. Trump didn't use a phony dossier to get the FBI to spy on his opponent's campaign. The Democrats did. Trump didn't authorize or endorse massive censorship of opposing views on COVID and the COVID vaccines. The Democrats did.

I had no intention of voting for President Biden, but, unlike most Republicans, I am willing to acknowledge that he has done many good things as president. It's too bad that nearly all Democrats won't acknowledge any of the good things that Trump did. Yes, Biden has done many things that I find objectionable, but Biden deserves praise for the following achievements: -- Pushing and signing the infrastructure bill. -- Reducing the cost of prescription drugs and allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices. -- Continuing and expanding Trump's tariffs against China. -- Forcing Chinese companies operating in America to allow federal audits/inspections. -- Forming a new alliance with Japan and South Korea to counter China's increasingly aggressive posture in the Indo-Pacific region. -- Reducing bank and credit card fees. -- Raising the minimum wage for federal contractors (this was long overdue). -- Pushing to raise the threshold for overtime pay to make over 3 million workers eligible for overtime pay for the first time (this was long, long overdue). -- Allowing prescriptions for addictions to be issued via telehealth. -- Greatly expanding the U.S. military's drone program. -- Forcing a deal to save the Colorado River. -- Providing federal aid and new regulations to aid small and midsize food producers against predatory giant food producers. -- Legislation to encourage and support the production of microchips on U.S. soil. -- Leaving the vast majority of the Trump tax cuts intact. -- Giving Ukraine enough aid to hold off the Russians and being willing to give Ukraine increasingly lethal weapons. -- Forming new defense partnerships with the Philippines and Papua New Guinea, and deepening ties with India and Australia. Several other positive actions could be listed. In many respects, Biden has governed as a centrist and has been willing to compromise to get things done in many cases. I should add that Biden has carried himself much more presidentially and credibly than Trump did.

This is just sad. You are ignoring/dismissing a mountain of evidence that Oswald was not even on the sixth floor during the shooting, not to mention that no FMJ bullet in the history of forensic science has caused the kind of damage that was done to JFK's head.

I say "key" because this is the main theory advanced by nearly all 9/11 Truthers, and it was the 9/11 theory that Truthers talked about the most for years. I'm certain you've seen the video Loose Change, made by four of the primary original Truthers. They insist therein that a missile fired by the U.S. military hit the Pentagon, not an airliner. Two, I notice that you once again declined to explain how the alleged explosives were smuggled into the WTC towers when security was extremely tight in those buildings. Three, I notice that you once again declined to explain why the alleged plotters would have bothered to plant and then detonate explosives in the WTC towers in the first place, as if they somehow could have believed that the American people would not already be outraged and furious enough over two airliners smashing into the WTC towers and killing all their passengers and all the people who were in the paths of the airliners when they smashed into the towers. Four, regarding your comment about remotely flying airliners, holy whacky cow, are you suggesting that the radical Muslim terrorists who were videotaped boarding the plane that hit the Pentagon and boarding the planes that hit the towers--are you really suggesting that any/all of those planes were remotely piloted???!!! Is that what you're suggesting? You know we have video of the terrorists boarding all of those planes, right? Right? The White House is in full Orwellian denial mode, claiming that Biden didn't do that badly in the debate and that he merely had a cold. As I mentioned in the OP, Democratic sources report that Jill Biden was the driving force behind her husband's decision to run again, and that she is the one who will have to be persuaded to get him to drop out of the race. I don't know if I believe that, but if it's true, I hope the First Lady is thinking about the big picture. If he stays in the race and manages to win, his cognitive decline will only get worse.
