I don't know where you get Carl Mather's plates, as his plates were firmly attached to his two tone 1957 Plymouth, which was positively IDd in Oak Cliff at the time, as reported in the HSCA Wise Allegation, which leads to Collins Radio Company, where the Plymouth should have been parked while Mather was at work. I think a more accurate assessment of the situation we are discussing would be who is lying. The Wise Allegation centered on information submitted by a man named Pate, who was TF White's boss who told KRLD newsman Wes Wise that his mechanic T.F. White saw a 'Red 57 Plymouth 4 door with license plate 'PP 4537' in the parking lot of an El Chico Restaurant (which though no longer in existence was only about one-third to one-half mile away from the Texas Theater, I watched movies in the Texas Theater as a kid and grew up in Oak Cliff) White insisted that the man sitting behind the wheel of the car looked like Lee Harvey Oswald; the man sat in the car for a short while and then 'left at a high rate of speed going west on Davis Street. White provided this information to the FBI. The information you referenced Bill are the Mather's denials. Wes Wise was involved in this story as a newsman at the time and had dinner with the Mather's. He described Carl as 'too nervous too eat.' Also, the Mather's and the Tippit's were supposedly friends (High Treason page 276-277) to the point that the family ostensibly 'went by the Tippit home to offer their condolences.' What is beyond dispute is that someone is not providing factual information. Either White fabricated the number, or the Mather's were lying, the only other possibility is that someone took Mather's license plates that day, used them on another car (that T.F. White witnessed) and then returned them, which I would think is doubtful.

Wasn't there a book, AFTJ? that stated Jack Ruby had rectal cancer before 11/22/63. I am not trying to be funny. The Kloepfers are overlooked in the whole JFK saga, and I believe that Jack Ruby has some tenuous link them as well.

In the book 'Oswald's Best Friend' by Bruce Campbell Adamson, Prescott Bush stated (I don't have the exact quote) I never forgave Kennedy for the firing of Allen Dulles. I think Neil Mallon would be a good place to start for someone who wanted to dig into the intertwining links between 'Texas oil-men' and the assassination. It has occurred to me that as far as myself personally, I plan to dig deeper, solving the assassination mystery is not a 'lost cause' by any means. If a JFK Researcher makes that statement, you should ask him why he is doing the research.

Additional ideas about Angel and Leopoldo in the Odio visit. From AJ Weberman's site. "Sylvia Odio told the FBI that one of the men who visited her with OSWALD had odd hair, full in the middle, and short on the sides. When Richard Whatley visited Dick Hathcock, one of his associates had a "Mohawk style haircut." The visit occurred in July 1963. Also, in The Man Who Knew Too Much, by Dick Russell, (which is one of my Top 5 Books) Nagell mentions "one of the two Cubans who were associating with Oswald in August and September 1963....was seen entering the 'ON THE BEACH BOOKSTORE' on two separate occasions." Vaughn Marlowe was the proprietor of the bookstore, and the bookstore was in Venice, California. I have been busier than I have ever been on JFK Research. It's a pretty pathetic state of affairs when a journalist explores valid questions about 9-11 and he appears to be the lone voice. I agree wholeheartedly with his analysis of American's reticence to explore the dark side of 'tragic affairs.' Somehow I get the feeling that our founding fathers (if they could see what has happened to the state of the union in 2006) might feel like 'we deserve whatever happens to us' in light of the collective lack of interest in 'government shenanigans'.

I have a very serious request concerning Lee Harvey Oswald's notebook. In it there is a listing for Lomo Industries, Inc. The Dallas Phone Directory as well as the Business Directory for the same year to my knowledge DO NOT have such a listing, however there is a Loma Industries, Inc with offices in Dallas and Ft. Worth. Can anyone enlighten me about this listing? Is it possible that Oswald's dyslexia, (he was dyslexic, right?) may have something to do with this? Any response is greatly appreciated.

In the DPD transcripts an officer is sent to the Sheraton to pick up a secret service agent. I forget the floor, but, it is given to the officer in the transcript in order to help him find the agent. Is the Sheraton mentioned in the transcripts the same as the one that GHW Bush had registered at? Is there any history regarding the room number that Mr. Bush occupied? In 1963 there was only one Sheraton Hotel in Dallas, I am not familiar with any research done by anybody as to room listings. Much controversy erupted upon discovery of the 'James Parrott' memo concerning an allegation by George H.W. Bush of Zapata Offshore Drilling Co. that Parrott had threatened to kill Pres. Kennedy. When reporter's queried the White House (circa 1992-93) about the memo they were informed the George Bush in question was 'another George Bush.' The history of this incident is very documented and I will not go into it here. My point is that for those who believe that George Herbert Walker Bush, the father of our current President was indeed the George H.W. Bush in question, the following might be of some interest. "The document trail linking George H. W. Bush to those involved in the assassination of President Kennedy is nothing less than chilling. First is a memo dated November 22, 1963, from FBI Special Agent Graham Kitchel to the FBI Special Agent in Charge in Houston. The subject is "Unknown Subject; Assassination of President John F. Kennedy." The memo states: At 1:45 p.m. Mr. George H. W. Bush did not know much about Parrott but gave the name of two Republican Party officials in Houston. Of course, Bush's Zapata Off-Shore Drilling Company had been a CIA front since 1960 and had supplied the Bay of Pigs invasion (code named "Zapata") force with two of his company's ex-U.S. Navy landing craft, renamed the "Barbara J" and the "Houston." In any case, Bush's phone call to the FBI was a false lead, and Parrott was cleared. However, Bush's phone call creates more questions about him than about Parrott. First of all, there is no evidence that Bush was in Tyler when Kennedy was shot. There was no Caller ID in those days that would have allowed Special Agent Kitchel to know, for a fact, that Bush was calling from Tyler. Bush's wife, Barbara, claimed he was in Tyler but Bush once said he may have been in Port-au-Prince, Haiti that day. But Bush himself admits to the FBI that he was booked into the Sheraton Hotel in Dallas on November 22." The Secret Service was booked into the Sheraton Dallas when JFK was assassinated and the fact that this connection has never been investigated period, by said 'investigative agencies' since 11/22/63 is another item in a long list of disgusting factoids concerning same. What was it George Herbert Walker Bush said back in the 1960's when reporters asked him about the (potential?) Kennedy Dynasty, "just wait till you see those 'Bush boy's.' A few months ago, I was searching NARA and came upon a list of still classified documents concerning the JFK Assassination. Eugene Hale Brading a/k/a Jim Braden was on the list.

Since the thread mentions the Texas Oil Industry, for anyone who can take my comments without interpreting them as a 'plug' for Bruce Campbell Adamson; (he of the short-lived 'visit' to the Forum recently) while perusing Oswald's Closest Friend, a book detailing activities of George and Dimitri DeMohrenschildt, he mentions some rather incredible items. Such as that one 'Billy Joe Lord' who 'shared a room' with Lee Harvey Oswald on the SS Marion Lykes in 1959 when Oswald was traveling to Russia, was 'indirectly' working for George 'Dubya' Bush in 1976-77, as in Dubya, current President residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Small world Eh. The book in my opinion, after a couple of hours of perusal, makes Tarpley's Un-authorized Bush Biography seem tame in comparison. The 'Midland associates' of 41 GHWB appear to have deserved a lot more scrutiny than they ever did, and give Nagell's Big Mother Busher an element of un-intended? surrealism. On a more serious note, the information in the book appears to be very well documented. It is a shame that Bruce wasn't more 'user-friendly' during his brief visit to the Forum. PS His research concerning DeMohrenschildt (the assertions made concerning George's 'suicide' are worth the purchase price alone [see below]) and his 'life and times' appear to be very documented. If you are politically incorrect enough to take the plunge into his research, you may find yourself never thinking of Midland, Texas the same way again. Assertion that the show The Doctor's (which was one of DeMohrenschildts fav's, ostensibly) at the time of 2:10 P.M. + 18 seconds played the following dialogue. " You're a Patsy and Barney knows that." With apologies? to one of our Forum members. A beeping sound (coming from a triggered security alarm) continually going off in the same time frame, indicating that a 'person' or 'person's' were entering and/or exiting the house. It is hard to find the coroners report on George's death, if it is online. Time of Death? Does anyone have a solid official time of death, as in the Palm Beach Sheriff's Report? There is a time of death suggested as being 3:45 PM but the source is one I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw a stick, I would like to know Gaeton Fonzi's statement regarding this, I don't think it is in the Last Investigation, believe it or not, or on his interview on Cuban-Exile.com. PS I realize Fonzi believes DeMohrenschildt committed suicide, but I am also aware that Jeanne did not, then there is the 'programmed to take his life theory,' but I have trouble believing 'comic book man's story. I am sorry if that appears harsh, and I certainly don't think it is impossible that it is true. I am not familiar with Adamson's complete line of books, 'Oswald's Friend' was the first one I have ever read, and as I stated it appears to be very thorough, but that does not mean that I believe every theory he advances, but he does bring up some things that seem very compelling, as in the fact that Mohammed Fayed was involved in the DeMohrenschildt/Haiti Clemard Charles intrigues, and that his son was the one who died with Princess Diana in the infamous car crash, small world indeed!

came across another site in a search for mkultra where there is a letter(redacted to hide id's) written in the 50's by someone talking about creating a 'jekyll and hyde' persona to among other things set up accounts. JJA is involved in this particular investigation as a witness mentioned in another context. Set up accounts? Could you elaborate, I find this interesting. If Cuba was behind the assassination or had any real connection to Oswald, a scenario the CIA and other bigwigs in the US gov't hierarchy were trying to develop from day one, do you really think we would just now be hearing about it. The argument that totally demolishes this 'theory' is the fact that just as in 1963, the intervening years since then up to today show the US gov't still despises Castro and Cuba, if there was an even remote connection you can be sure our govt would have made sure 'we were the first to know' eons ago.
