Both of those things (age & looks) are, of course, purely subjective observations.

The overall evidence indicates, without much doubt, that Brennan saw Lee H. Oswald in the 6th-floor window.

That's not what Brennan said, that he saw Oswald.  Your "overall evidence" is simply lone nutters repeating themselves.

    (Wow... talk about misogyny)

    In defense of Hillary Clinton:

Conventional wisdom in the first decade of this century, was that a woman couldn't win the presidency because she'd supposedly be weak on defense.

That's the reason Hillary was made Secretary of Defense and was hawkish.

As for the bombing of Libya... not a good idea, but Hillary & Obama were not alone. Ten members of the UN voted for the bombing and none voted against it. Fourteen NATO countries -- including the U.S., Canada, Denmark, France, Italy, Spain, and the U.K. -- participated in it.

As VP, Joe Biden opposed NATO's Libya operation.  You won't hear that from Mr. DiEugenio, of course.

History certainly does have a habit of repeating itself.

Multiple witnesses saw Crooks shoot Trump.

There's video of Crooks crawling into position.

Crooks was shot on the spot.

There were no witnesses to Oswald shooting.

No films or photos show Oswald on the 6th floor of the TSBD.

Oswald was shot 2 days later.

Lone nutters and gun nutters have a history of repeating themselves.

Kennedy was a foreign policy Maverick. Despite Trump is a very different character, he is a foreign policy Maverick. Kennedy was against the US running around and igniting wars. Trump is against the US running around igniting wars. Both men received bullets for that. 2024 is 1963.

So Trump was shot because he's a peacenik?

Trump pulled out of the Iran nuke deal and assassinated the #2 Iranian leader.

Kennedy green-lit the overthrow of Diem, one of the most calamitous foreign policy decisions of the post-WW2 era.

I think folks need to stifle the hero-worship.

You even provided a motive ... would you mind to help out the FBI? They are a bit in a dead end ... they are short of clairvoyants I heard ...

You put this up two posts ago.  Forgetful?

And don't forget to give Mike Benz a call.

How would Benz know if Crooks posted online if there's no proof of it?

    He remains a non-entity.

Far from it.  We know he was a registered Republican described by classmates as politically conservative, and his neighbors witnessed Trump signs in his yard.  He routinely wore camouflage clothing to class, in spite of getting picked on for it.  He wore a super-patriot shirt for his high school yearbook photo, and wore a shirt to the shooting promoting a right-wing gun channel on YouTube.

He was MAGA doing what MAGAts do -- get violent.

Do democrats hate Mt Rushmore or something? When did reps corner the market on the ole monument?

No, Democrats don't hate Mt. Rushmore, they just don't feel the need to show up to a year book photo session promoting it.  That's a right wing fetish.  As is wearing military camouflage to school every day or Demolition Ranch gear to a mass shooting.  Crooks was the product of a right wing gun fetish culture Trump did his best to inflame.

You missed the point. I think it’s apparent he was a registered rep, but did he hold conservative values?

Since Crooks was the shy, quiet type we may never see any social media manifestos.  But consider this:

For his high school year book photo he showed up in a T-shirt with Mt. Rushmore super-imposed on an American flag.

    From USA Today:

Jason Kohler attended Bethel Park High School with Crooks and said he remembers the 20-year-old sat alone at lunch and was “bullied every day.” Kids picked on Crooks for wearing camouflage to class and his quiet demeanor, Kohler, 21, said.

    </q>

He insisted on wearing camouflage to class every day in spite of the fact the other kids bullied him for it.

Then there is the t-shirt he wore to the shooting -- Demolition Ranch, a right-wing gun nut website.

Crooks wore his political affiliation on his sleeve -- literally.

I have a hard time believing a republican would shoot the Don.

A lot of patriotic conservatives hate Trump.  Liz Cheney, William Kristol, Paul Ryan, the Lincoln Project to name a few.

Answer: absolutely. Different names, same corrupt government, same deep state inciting hatred against one man. The tactics may be different, but it's the same motive: make sure he doesn't get a second term.

Same infantile inability to take responsibility for their obsession with political violence.

Maybe so. But not because Trump says it, but rather because the right-wing says it. I mean, he obviously isn't a Trump supporter.

To me he sure seems like a Trump hating, guns rights conservative.

Me too!  Was Lynn Cheney swayed by leftist rhetoric to oppose Trump?  No she was swayed by Trumps words and actions.

I think we can safely assume Crooks was no Trump fan, but the truth is, we don’t know s**t about this kid’s motive or political leanings yet.

Since he wore a super-patriotic t-shirt for his high school yearbook photo and wore gear from a right-wing gun website to the shooting, it's safe to say he doesn't fit the profile of a left-winger.

6 minutes ago, Tom Gram said:

What do we actually know? He registered as a Republican at 18, but donated to the Progressive Turnout Project. That tells us precisely nothing about Crooks’ actual beliefs, and even less about his motive.

I also just read in the NYT that his mother was a Democrat, and his father a Libertarian.

Other than that, what do we have? Crooks’ choice of T-shirts?

Exactly.  The t-shirt he wore for his high school year book and the t-shirt he wore for the shooting are as clear a statement as any manifesto.

He donated $15 on the day of Biden's inauguration, consistent with a super-patriot.

All I’m trying to say is let’s wait until we have some actual evidence and background on this kid before jumping to conclusions.

We have that, whether you choose to acknowledged it or not.
