  1. The Oswald-alone scenario could be split up as well, not? Like depending what one believes LHO´s motive was?
  2. Let's say of the 65%, there is one very popular theory that takes up 36% ?
  3. Don´t know about the consulate or embassy visits, but first: wasn´t his presence in MC simply conformed by the cleaning lady and the guys at the hotel reception desk. I think they had 3 or4 people in there confirming LHO was there, people that, on first sight(?) didn´t have strong propaganda or political motives. His presence in MC needs to be confirmed (or not) before anything else. Anyone knows about the hotel employees not being reliable as witnesess? If we can confirm he was there, a visit to the emb./consul. wouldn´t be too odd, but they would want to keep control on whatever that was spoken about there, deniability was their major concern, one fake call (an obviously faked one does the job), easy. From that call on, they could say LHO wasn´t there. Or he was there, but some things attributed to him were not said by him but by some imposter, etccccc. Just to be clear, IMO, LHO was being watched. I also think there were photo´s , but these could not be shown as they would limit the fabrication of any story they would/could need.
  4. Will check it out, I think he only attended WEHS like 1 month or so, should be a small file, his schools was one of the first things I started reading a little about (a few years ago that is)
  5. Thanks, any idea where it was found ? Beckley, Irving or in one of the wallets ?
  6. Thank you David and John. Indeed, It had nothing to do with the split bills, but I had in my folder because some time ago I was thinking the writing on the card looked liked some sort of instructions (but it wasn't). I still haven't found a better copy of that card, for some reason it's hard to find, unless I'm looking in the wrong places. I think I found this copy in the Weisberg Archive (among unrelated stuff I believe), but this was in the very beginning when I got interested in the JFK case)
  7. @David Josephs do you have some more info on this item ?
  8. below Oswald is says something like "holder (left)" or "folder (left)", It's written on the back of perhaps half a 1/2 library card ? or perhaps the Texas Local Board 1/2 card ? (last item of the John Armstrong list I'll attach from Armstrong/5 wallets folder at Baylor - but that does not contain this copy.... so I'm not 100% sure) To me in first it looked like an instruction for someone to fill in something perhaps... written on the back of that half "thing". Bottom looks like "money" but not sure. The writings could also be the init. of a detective for all I know I would think it is that 1/2 Texas Local Board card, but who has written on the back ? I don't know, was that backside blank ? No idea... Someone could have just written on it was the "(left)" side of that card, "Lee Oswald"'s name as the "holder" In the pictures I find I am unable to find a better copy of that specific 1/2 card for some reason My own notes are not very helpfull... Isomething like unID/JA?/ask DJ? That would be John Armstrong ? Ask David ? It was a copy from a file that was not related to it in now way, slipped in by accident perhaps, it should be in one of the other files as well but I still haven't found it there (unless it's indeed the Local Board card and the copy was put in another file.
  9. Will check tomorrow, I have another note somewhere where I got that from, I think I know but want to check
  10. I have these in my notes, but nothing to explain them, the first is likely not related to the second, or is it ? ------------------------------------
  11. IMO... : Oswald actually visited Mexico, and in doing so freaked out the ones trying to steer him (or frame him, if you like). Causing some urgent need to create deniability for whatever he planned doing there. They did know what problems they would have to solve, so they did : - camera surveillance wasn't working (easy living that one) - but if it was, they could show the wrong dude or the right guy... (I'm pretty sure Winston's memories were ok). - have someone call in terrible Russian - have a guy make up a story about receiving mucho dollars to kill JFK - ... No matter what, they could choose who to blame : Cuba, Russia, the extreme Right,, the Left, the LN, .... Intelligence is a switchboard
  12. I can only say the forum rules are the same for everybody (or they should be) I don't know if David has copied content to his website since he came back here, I don't think so. If one feels the need to apply the forum rules w/o exception it's going to be a busy year-end. If have seen content from this group being copied pretty much every where, entire topics and posts, or parts of... https://reopenkennedycase.forumotion.net/t2781-shake-a-speer-and-dooky-flies-out-of-every-orifice#42931 As long as nobody complains... I'd simply let it be...
  13. Was it ever established what flight got Oswald from London to Helsinki ? The WC did list an exact price for that (to the cent that is), but failed to provide details about that price (ticket / flight / ...) ? CM did list 2 possible flights both in time to check in at Torni's (about 5.30PM I believe it was)
  14. How would the job of your brother or sister affect you ? Importance ? If I was asked that question continuously, over and over again, I'd tell them to take a hike.
  15. I'm way off topic here, sorry, I have actually known a nurse at Lindsey Air Station in Germany in late 1980's, she transferred to Ramstein for some time and returned to the USA in the 1990's I think Sorry, my mind is taking me for a walk in time...
  16. Thanks, it probably was something like that, but one never knows I guess, I haven't seen any details on his expenses in Japan
  17. From a Frontline interview with Robert Oswald: "because of the clothes he purchased at the time" What was that about ? Did he buy like a winter-outfit before going to sunny CA ? I do not recall reading anything else about that. Couldn't it have to do with his 30 days leave he had when he had just gotten back from Japan ?
  18. Reading the report on how they got the PMO into evidence, one has to notice it's very very detailed, they really really made a serious effort, really paid attention to the initials, all the details, the phone-calls they made, it's all there and more, it's one of the most detailed reports I have seen in this case.... well... that is... euhhh... for a PMO that was handed over to an agent over the other guys kitchen table..., not in the Archives.... So he finds a very important piece of evidence in the killing of the President, puts it in his pocket and drives home. Did he want to show it to his wife first ?!?
  19. Some things to consider : - LHO destroyed his Walker file (according Marina when he was trying out an indoor BBQ) - why would he keep the Walker pictures ? - were the negatives of the Walker-pictures also destroyed ? - lab reports are there for the BYP and 1 neg. - I have found a statement that said the Walker House picture also had these marks
  20. Or did he use it ? When/why ? I'll get there later, as I really really really think he has used his Russian camera in the USA So why where they stressing it was all about the Imperial Reflex (that was allegedly used for the BYP and Walker House Pictures) I know about the marks, and the lab seems to have proven the Imperial Reflex made the BYP The Walker House pictures......mmmm.... not so sure... In evidence : - some rolls of 35mm film, in case there is any doubt about them being available, well there's a couple... as I said it's just standard 35mm film So about some problems in getting the right film as Marina stated ? NO WAY - some 620 film (for the Imperial Reflex) Rather interesting is the "?" next to the exposed films On the unexposed they seem to be sure (no "?" there) But on the exposed, it's always "?" Did they want to check it out first, see what's on it, before we make it final there was something in those pictures ? I mean a film is exposed or not..., so we have : 3 exposed 35mm films (could have been used in the Smena-2) 1 exposed 620 film (Imperial Reflex) That's 3 films and possibly a lot of pictures, where are those ?
  21. Oswalds Russian camera, why didn’t he use it ? Since I got interested in the JFK case, I wondered why Oswald would have used that Imperial Reflex. The Imperial Reflex has zero options. Nice on a sunny day, shooting from the average distance to an object or person, but otherwise… nope. I had read Oswald was interested in photography, and in the evidence listings a number of different cameras were mentioned. At first glance the Russian made Smena-2 to me looked to be one of the better ones IMO. But so far I have found nothing that suggests Oswald actually used that camera in the USA ? Marina stated that Lee had trouble finding the right film for it in the USA ? That sounded strange to me as the Smena-2 uses 35mm film that is pretty much standard. It was already common in the USA in those days, and it still is in analog photography and Lomography. So I didn’t really see the problem Marina was talking about. For all I know Oswald used it in Russia, so he must have known very well what film it needed, and he must have known it was available in the USA. I would have to see it for myself, it’s a Russian camera , one never knows…. So I got one and it arrived today ! I have to say I liked it right away, it’s a small pocket size camera. It feels nice in handling. Not too heavy, not too light. All buttons and dials typical for a 1950’s camera for the amateur enthusiast. Given the max. aperture at f4.5 It can be a little problematic in low light conditions, but that was pretty much standard for a camera from those days. The St is a little off, not unusual. It is not a high-end camera, by no means, but it is well made. The Smena simply is a decent little camera for a friendly price (ok, in Russia). So, now the film problem…. everywhere I looked on the internet the only thing is : “the camera has no rewind”. The only thing to consider is that you need an empty cassette to feed the exposed film into when shooting, you'll feed the film frame per frame in the empty cassette… and that’s it. And b.t.w. one CAN rewind the film ! Simply turn the advance know the other way round if you would want to ! E.g. like when you have advanced one too many frame and want to go back. It doesn’t have a “rewind-release” button, but it will turn in reverse. It is not one way only, people could think so because of the mentioning it has no rewind, and film needs to be fed into an empty cassette… The camera can take any normal 35mm cassette and on the other side you need an empty 35mm cassette that will take the film in. Once you have this first empty cassette filled, you’re good to go forever as the cassette that had the unexposed film is now empty, just move it to the other side in the camera (and flip it !). So, why didn’t he use his Russian camera ? It has all the option one needs to shoot in different circumstances. And as said, the Imperial Reflex has only one fixed setting, no options The Smena is simply better overall More reasons, IF you would have to sneak up to Walkers house to take pictures, what would you prefer ? A small pocket size fairly modern camera like the Cuera-2 or the bulky Imperial Reflex that has a very awkward view finding method (waist level view finder, will look like you’re always looking up at things) Dimensions (w x h x d) : Imperial Reflex = 90 x 175 x 90mm Cuera-2 = 70 x 115 x 55mm The Smena-2 fits nicely in my vest pocket, the Imperial Reflex - even when closed - never would. So why didn’t he use it ? Was it broken ? Was there more to it ? All the testing was done with the Imperial Reflex, the Smena was never really considered, they showed a picture of it to Marina and that was it. I can only assume they only found 620 film negatives and no 35/135 negatives ? But as we do not have a detailed list, impossible to know. It may be nothing, but taking into account the BYP, the pictures of the Walker house… I’d keep it in mind. Marina said he had difficulties finding the correct film, somehow this is like saying it was not totally impossible… so perhaps some of the pictures where taken with the Smena, but perhaps they were never tested…. Please note the one I have has the Smena (some say Cuera) font a little different, but as said it is technically identical to LHO's, to top dial looks a little different but has the same functionallity.
  22. Sandy, this was my first reaction - in this topic - to you when you asked about what I had written : I quote myself : "In the same topic, about the way Ruth answered to her sisters employment I believe it was. IMHO she answered to those questions pretty much in the same way she answered the questions about the place her sister lived. I did not add the excerpts on the Q and A about the work she did. But perhaps you were talking about a perjury in an other part, or perhaps even another hearing ? Please give me some references to that so I can find where she committed perjury there, or copy the exerpts as I did with the address discussion, I'm really only trying to learn ya know !" End quote. That was my very first response, I never had any intention of calling you a xxxx, if it sounded to you that way I will say I am sorry I asked the above questions precisely because I wasn't sure anymore about that quote. That's all there is to it, and that's all I had in my mind when writing that.
  23. If I made a mistake I will apologize, it was about another matter I see, but it was about Ruth and a perjury. As I am curious, in what matter did you state the excerpt attached below, was that about Ruth statements on Sylvia's job ? No reason to use foul language... come on... really ?
  24. 1) The full story on how and WHERE it was found is also interesting IMO The agents picked it up at a private address, if that is not a concern, I don't know what is (excerpt attached). Link to the full story on how it was found : https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=10490#relPageId=120&search=harold_AND marks 2) Back on topic, I do believe it had to be endorsed, how would the clearing know otherwise ? It is both a security question as a practical one. AFAIK the mass endorsing was done by machines, not individual stamping at that point in the process
  25. 1) the thing is, in that topic on Ruth, I noticed the term perjury a few times 2) I find that a very serious allegation that should be used carefully 3) so I opened this topic to see what it is all about, and perhaps it has a different meaning in US legislation versus the legal system in Belgium (that I know a little better) 4) I used the address thing as an example, but have seen those accusations in other topics as well by others 5) I may not have expressed myself correctly, but that is what I wanted to learn about 6) I myself have said she was evasive in times (on the curtain rods at the Irving hearing e.g., but there I had a feeling she was put in a spot by the FBI) 7) But perjury ? So far, I do not see it IMHO. So please explain and /or elaborate with excerpts where/when it is a perjury please ? 8 ) And if it was (I AM willing to learn or admit I'm wrong believe it or not), why wasn't she convicted like Dean Andrews Jr. ?
