Douglas Caddy
Will Ruha posted the following on Facebook today in a reply to remarks by David Talbot. Talbot has since banned Will from ever replying to any of his posts. I am certain David will vouch for me. We are kindred souls. Like David, I was engrossed, for many years, in an in-depth study of the dastardly Dulles brothers. His book beat mine to the punch. We talked about it. I do criticize fellow Democrats, indeed, because certain of them have betrayed our great party. The Clinton-Obama-Biden “New Democrats” rejected the egalitarian democratic legacy of Jefferson, Jackson, FDR, JFK, and RFK, to advocate conservative Republican policies anathema to the Progressive Democratic tradition. Founded as the Democratic Leadership Council (DLC), they argued that in light of Reagan's landslide victory in 1984, Dems needed to shift far Right in order to remain politically viable. Ergo, Bubba’s disastrous G.O.P.-backed repeal of Glass-Steagall via its Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act that collapsed the U.S. economy. The reason for this, as hard as it may be for you to accept, is that Clinton and Obama are lifelong CIA political agents; faux-Liberals who, once imposed into power, enacted the CIA's militaristic-terrorist agenda. Douglas Caddy
The crooked Postmaster admitted to Speaker Pelosi today that he has no intention of reinstalling the sorting machines that had removed. Steve Thomas
Feds charge ex-Trump official Steve Bannon with criminal fraud in crowd-funded border wall campaign https://www.rawstory.com/2020/08/feds-charge-ex-trump-official-steve-bannon-with-criminal-fraud-in-crowd-funded-border-wall-campaign/ “As alleged, the defendants defrauded hundreds of thousands of donors, capitalizing on their interest in funding a border wall to raise millions of dollars, under the false pretense that all of that money would be spent on construction,” said acting SDNY U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss. “As for Bannon’s role in the scheme, SDNY alleges that funneled “over $1 million from We Build the Wall” into a nonprofit organization that he personally controlled. According to SDNY, Bannon then used at least some of that money “to cover hundreds of thousands of dollars” in his own personal expenses.” Steve Thomas

Joe Bauer
Trump attracts people of his own mentality. Every way you can, get as much money out everything as much as possible. Even if you have to cheat to do this - do it. Even if you have to compromise yourself - do it. Even if you have to engage with known criminal elements and deal with known money laundering banks - do it. If you can find a tax loophole - take it. If you need to exaggerate your tax deductible write offs - do it. If you need to state your income is lower than it is - do it. If you can siphon money off of a charity - do it. If you can get private donor suckers to send you money for your wall ( 20 million dollars! ) - do it. Then find a way to get some of it back in your own pocket. Mexico is going to pay for the wall. But don't hold it against the biggest promoter of this phony sales pitch when not a penny comes in after almost 4 years. Douglas Caddy
1 hour ago, David Andrews said: Pardon if they convict before next inauguration day. No criminal trial moves that fast. Think of a year or two at a minimum. In addition there is information that Bannon was arrested on a yacht anchored off the coast of Connecticut. There are rumors that the yacht is owned by a prominent Chinese national of dubious background. Since Trump cannon help Bannon before the election or afterwards if Biden defeats him, Bannon may tell what he knows about Trump, Trump's inner circle and the Chinese national in an effort to to bargain down the charges against him and the terms of sentence.
