Personally it's been hard to avoid posting or mentioning current political doings and sticking to strictly JFKA related topics.

We were allowed to go full tilt posting into the real time Corona virus and political craziness of that experience by our moderators for a good long time. I appreciated that decision.

And I honestly believe that this tolerance of non-JFK posting was done out of sympathy for the unprecedented stress we were all going through due to that massively stressing event.

It was changing our lives in ways we have never experienced before. Understatement of the decade.

Beyond simply worrisome to ominous, life and death fear stuff - 24/7 for years!

It's after effects are still hugely impacting us and will for a long time imo.

We needed to talk about it to relieve some of the nightmare stress we were all feeling and sharing. Even more so than just the JFKA story.

Things are still so crazy politically it's still tempting to want to discuss it all.

However, I think our Mods have done a good job getting us back on track maintaining the JFKA forum integrity and discussion focus.

I have better things to do and won't do that again. If it happens again I will move the thread.

Please everybody, no contemporary politics. And in particular, nothing about Trump or Biden. Or Jan. 6. Or RFK Jr.

I do think when RFK2 talks about the JFKA, or the JFKA Records Act, that is newsworthy, for the EF-JFKA.

Also, I am uncomfortable with giving the Biden Administration, or President Biden and AG Merrick Garland, a "pass" on the what they have done to the JFK Records. Silence is not golden in this regard. 

Perhaps the JFK Records Act should be a pinned topic. 

Ditto on Trump, should he become president again. Trump flat-out failed the public regarding the JFK Records. 

The Deep State seems able to control Presidents.

Well, good question.

1. The JFK Records Act, and the illegal suppression of records, is unfolding in the present. Slowly, but the Biden Administration is being litigated on the matter, including by members of EF-JFKA. 

2. Citizen activism. Apprised, we can write letters to representatives and media, advocating action or coverage.

I could even restore all those political posts I removed earlier from this tread. (That is apparently what Matthew Koch preferred I do. He was quite perturbed with what I did.)

Since we're talking about a deep state. How about something more tangible, and a little less abstract than the "deep state" being everyone who believes in foreign trade, and circumstances a bit more current and urgent than Ben's conspiracy "pie in the sky", where you'll be waiting forever to take any concrete action and "doing enough" is just an endless diatribe , saying the same things over and over again, which is an end in itself and probably is enough for Ben in Thailand.

Let's talk about something in front of us.

 

Ben has mentioned the "Deep state" more than any single  poster here, and created this thread, so I'm sure he'd be the last to suspect this happening because the proponents expressed aim here is to do battle against the "deep state."

 

Project 2025 is a plan from conservative think tanks to hit the ground running and not make the same mistakes when Trump gets elected in 2025. From previous experience, They are confident Trump will provide not one wit of resistance because as President before he was a wax plate they could impress upon, as he has no policy knowledge and legislatively they had their way.

The plan is to reschedule and fire over 50,000 workers just to start, and eliminate the Departments of Education, no more Consumer Protection  agencies, eliminate  the Secretary of Health and Human Services and Department of Labor. To do this they would reschedule the employment status of probably 100's of thousands of  federal employees in order to be able to take whatever tenure they have and fire them. Trump approved this before and when Biden entered offices he reinstated it .

 

They will also gut the EPA and environmental regulation, gut the SEC, and in their culture wars, they've expressed they want to interfere with blue states rights to criminalize abortion, outlaw mail order abortion pills and outlaw pornography.

 

It's an attack on civil servants, but more importantly an attempt to force a "unitary" view of government taking away checks and balances and concentrating the power of office on the executive branch. There are autocratic movements such as these going on throughout the world. And as a recent example of the danger in this, We're seeing the fallout in China with President Xi consolidating power to an extent that they've become so inflexible, they can't respond to the resultant economic emergencies they're experiencing.

The next step is to work on the Deep State citizenry.

You've now seen the Deep State's plan to economically marginalize you. You have to stop feeding them.

You don't have to like the Democrats.

But you have to vote in your interests.

I'm influenced here by John Judge's logic on whether Oswald's death and assassin would prove the fix was in.

Important to remember that what appears to be Deep State can be as anti-monolithic as one set of influencers swaying a powerful supporting set, convincing them that interests should coalesce.

I am getting reports that I am biased and am allowing left-leaning politics to be posted.

I allowed Kirk's first comment because he was pointing out that "deep state" isn't some mysterious thing that we will never uncover. It's what happens when things go wrong and the people don't understand why. They blame it on the big, bad, deep state.

Kirk gives the Project 25 example. That will be our next deep state if all goes according to plan.

In his second post, Kirk tells us how we can avoid the Project 25 deep state.

@Kirk Gallaway please explain why your second post is necessary to make your deep-state argument. Though I agree with what it says, I don't think it's necessary.
